This was for class, but I figured I may as well post it.
EXT. Park. Night.

EVE, 9, runs through a park at night. She is carrying a backpack. She falls and winces in pain. Eve crawls to a bench and slumps against it, struggling for breath. Short pause. She slams her head onto the seat of the bench, and is silent. Pause.

VOICE

Miss Evey? Are you alright?

Eve shakes her head, slowly at first, and then violently. She picks herself up, only to slam her head back down, shrieking in pain.

VOICE

Miss Evey, I must request that you please withdraw me at once. I would like to help you...

Short pause. Eve removes the backpack she wears. She takes from it a porcelain doll, LUCY, and sets her on the bench in front of her. Lucy is dressed in elegant Gothic Lolita fashion, including black and white striped stockings. Her hair is dark, curled to a Victorian fashion. Her eyes are large, outlined in a porcelain polish eyeshadow.

LUCY

Oh, no. Miss Evey, you do indeed appear to be unwell... I can imagine well enough; after all I saw what he did to you from your nightstand...

Suddenly, Eve begins to violently slam her head into the seat of the bench over and over, screaming.

LUCY

Miss Evey! Miss Evey! Please stop!

Eve doesn't stop. Bits of blood appear on the bench.

LUCY

Miss Evey!

Lucy dashes forward and places herself between Eve and the bench. Some of the blood drips on to Lucy's face before her tiny porcelain arm is trapped under the force of Eve's head, shatters. Eve stops and looks.

LUCY

(Relieved, but in pain)

There... You stopped... Don't worry; I am quite alright... (Beat.) Now... He's gone. You left- he can't do that anymore... Why do you hurt?

EVE

Lucy... I can't- I want to cry...

LUCY

And why, Miss Evey? Why should you cry at all?(Beat.) Miss Evey, would you like some tea?

Eve somberly shakes her head.

LUCY

Well, I, believe it would do you good. You'll find a tea set among my other things. Please fetch it.

Confused, Eve digs through the backpack, and withdraws a miniature teapot and two tea cups, one full size, and one fit for a doll of Lucy's stature.

LUCY

That's right... Good girl. The tea's already made too; isn't that wonderful? Please pour yourself some- don't worry, there's plenty.

Eve timidly nods and pours the tea from the small pot which, it does not empty. The tea itself is milky white and thick. She fills Lucy's cup and hands it to her. She hesitantly fills her own, but does not drink. She sits on the ground, looking up at Lucy, who sits on the bench. Lucy sips her tea.

LUCY

It's so good! Please, Miss Evey, you must drink it!

Eve lifts the cup, smelling it. She is off-put by its scent. As Lucy speaks, Eve begins to take a sip.

LUCY

Go on. It's delicious, I assure you. It's made with all of the finest perfectly toxic acids that-

Eve chokes on her drink and spits it out instantly.

LUCY

Now, now, Miss Evey, that's terribly impolite... A proper lady will not spit, no matter how distasteful or foul it may be. That is incorrect. Miss Evey, you must swallow! I do insist.

Short pause. Eve stares in disbelief at her drink. She begins to protest, but Lucy covers her mouth with her surviving hand.

LUCY

No. Silence, please. A lady does not protest. Now, drink.

Eve slowly, painfully sips the acid tea.

LUCY

Good girl. That's better. A lady is expected to do certain things, Miss Evey. You must understand this.

Eve swallows her drink, visibly suffering as she does.

LUCY

Oh dear, is it truly that unpleasant?

Eve slowly nods.

LUCY

Do you take your tea with- honey, perhaps? Would you like some honey?

Short pause. Eve nods.

LUCY

Of course, Miss Evey. You should find some in your bag as well...

Eve digs through her bag and finds a container full of small rectangles of honey. She holds it up for Lucy to see.

LUCY

Yes, that's it. Please, take as many as you'd like.

Eve opens it, drops several into her cup, and drinks.

LUCY

These honey-covered razor blades are quite delicious...

Eve freezes, having just swallowed one whole.

LUCY

No need to be alarmed, Miss Evey. Occasionally, women find that that ingesting a razor blade tends to cause some minor medical mishaps, but please pay it no mind. Continue.

Eve slowly continues to sip her tea, eyes wide.

LUCY

There you, go. Good girl. If you finish it all up, you may have some cake afterwords too. Won't that be lovely? In truth, it's only the cake's icing... The actual cake has long since molded over and turned to dust, leaving only a shell- if you are lucky there may be an insect's carcass for extra flavor inside? But that's beside the point. It may hurt- but it is our job to set aside all feeling and do as we are told. Do you understand me, Miss Evey? (Pause.) Miss Evey? (Short pause.) Oh, of course. How silly of me- the tea must have scalded your throat. You shouldn't try to speak anymore- and after all, it is better that way.

Eve backs away from Lucy, restraining her tears.

LUCY

Miss Evey? Why the grim countenance? Have I done something wrong? I am only trying to help you... (Pause.) Miss Evey? You may have some cake if you would like.

Pause. Eve begins to cry.

LUCY

Miss Evey? Have I done something in error?

Suddenly, Eve lunges forward and snatches Lucy up in a tearful embrace, clinging to her tightly.

LUCY

Oh! Miss Evey... I do love you, but-

Just as suddenly, Eve stands up, grabs Lucy by the neck, holds her high over her own head and slams the doll on to the bench. Lucy slides against the back, landing on her other arm, which also breaks. Eve runs away, now loudly sobbing, leaving Lucy, face cracked, arms broken, the drops of blood from Eve's head painted like make-up across her face.

LUCY

Mi- Miss Evey... I lo- love you... Miss Evey... Miss Evey...

Short pause. Fade to black. We still hear a whimpering voice.

LUCY

Miss Evey... Well done, Miss Evey...
I could not think about anything but Giygas while reading this entire thing.

"It hurts, Lucy..."

"Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy...I'm so sad...Lucy."
