Airek
I've been trying to update my Pokemon Reborn from 12 to 13, but I'm not entirely sure about the process of updating. I don't want to lose any of my progress, mainly because of the level of grinding I've done already; I've tried to copy the information in the Data file of 12 onto the data in the 13.2 Data file, but that did nothing. I'm a little nervous about unzipping the data in place of my Ep12 file. Can someone help me?
Chase
(someone will come and correct me if I'm off the mark here, I'm sure) If you want to update to Episode 13, you would do it the exact same way you would if you were just downloading Reborn for the first time. (Game Download at the right hand menu, whichever mirror you want, yada, yada) Your progress is in a file known as "Game.rxdata" and that file will always be on hand no matter what version of the game you are playing. So downloading the newest version of the game will NOT compromise your save file. Edited October 8, 2014 by Hilda
Lord Bagel
Hilda is correct on this, all you have to do is run the game and as long as your save meets the requirements on the main page of the site you will resume just as you normally would. Hilda is right on everything if you're running Windows, but refer to this if you're on a Mac system :I
NickCrash
Just keep a backup save if you want to be extra careful. I don't believe we had any incidents of people losing their save files by upgrading to ep.13 .edit: I mean, apart from saving in the specific areas that Ame mentioned (if there are still victims, I don't know how or why) Edited October 8, 2014 by nickcrash
Sheep
Oooooh yes we have. But if you follow the guidelines outlined in the download/readme then you shouldn't run into trouble.
Airek
Thank you, everyone! It works like a charm now! :-) (and since I love living under a rock and training underneath the Grand Stairway for lower-leveled Pokemon, being outside wasn't a problem. ;P )
