Haxorus group

The Haxorus that fell in the pit were pretty surprised. They liked to mess around with students and every year they managed to scare the living hell out some of them. Never had any student the guts to try and attack them when they showed up in a group. Their curiosity was peaked and they walked slowly towards the humans in front of them. One of the Haxorus behind Slade gave him a small nudge to get his attention.

Another crack of a twig not far from Danielle gained the attention of the students. Devin Cadmus walked out of the woods and looked around. “Well, apparently I was too late. They change their so called territory every year,” he said patting one of them on the head. “But their wild counterparts also do this. It’s the most dangerous dragon when it feels threatened or someone infiltrates its territory. Never go into the territory of a female with little ones,” he explained. “Now did any of you see a Salamence or Hydreigon around?” Ryan’s ankle was out of his field of vision.

K_H

There was an entire group of Druddigon active. Some smaller, and apparently younger ones, were sparring against each other. Even if they saw Kenny they wouldn’t attack him.

Tses

A Flygon spotted Sissy running into the opposite direction of where the Salamence was. Curious, and looking for a new friend, the gentle dragon decided to follow her.

Elf and Murdoc

The Tyrantrum moved out of the wood and faced the students. It tilted its head as if it was looking at a delicious snack when suddenly two little Tyrunt’s came running towards them. One of them bit in Kage’s shirt and tried to get the student to come with him. The other one did the same to Claude.

Commander

When Zuko and Henry tried to find the Salamence, they came past Evan and a Dragonite. Both of them seemed to be locked into a staring contest.

Mareek looked up to the sky as a mighty roar tore through the air, so loud that even though it was probably relatively far away, he could still hear it clear as day from here.

"What species was that?" He asked Java, whom was still traipsing about the software of the Pokedex. A moment later the page for Salamence came up on the screen. The trainer turned his attention back towards where the roar had echoed from the distance. "I don't think it's anything too serious... after all, Prof. Cadmus did say that all of these Dragons around here were his... Though, that Roar honestly sounded a little bit on the enraged side..." Before he could decide whether to just put or go investigate, however, a blur of blue pulsed in his peripheral vision. He didn't bother waiting to process what it was, he simply ducked as fast as he could, a water pulse bursting against the tall rock behind him, leaving the entire surface soaked.

"Well...so much for what the Professor said then..." He scanned the area, trying to determine what had fired that attack just now... nothing. He looked over at the Dex next. "Java, use lock on to find where that Attack came from." The Porygon emerged from the device and did as ordered, A red glowing ring appearing in front of it's body, growing smaller and larger as it it scanned the area, finally stopping when it had pin pointed the target. The ring constricted considerably, the Pokemon in question becoming engulfed in a faint red glow that faded after a few seconds. The Porygon looked up at the boy with an unreadable expression. Neither one of them had noticed the little Horsea that had swam up to the water's edge near them until Java had locked on to it just now. "Never mind then..."

Mareek walked over and knelt down in front of the Horsea, speaking in a soft tone. "Sorry, little guy, but I don't really have time to play right now. Maybe later." He then stood and looked over at Lana and some other guy talking nearby...damn, he hadn't noticed anyone approaching, had he? "Hey you two," he called. "Did you hear that Angry Salamence roar just now?"

Danielle blinked and face palmed as she realized something. They are all in Devin's backyard, and those Haxorus are his dragons. He said he told them to act like wild ones... "Of course, Haxorus are known to be territorial, that's why the snuck up on us like that!" As if confirming her suspicions, Danielle saw Professor Cadmus coming out of nowhere to explain the situation.

"Crap," she turned to the hole with the Haxorus, who are being slowly lifted up with Teo's Sand Tomb. "Corona, melt the ice as well as the String Shot. Be careful not to hurt them." She then addressed the dragon master, her head hung low in shame. "I'm sorry Professor. They caught us by surprise so we thought they wanted to attack us..."

---------

Corona nodded and crawled over to the three struggling dragons. She chirped to them a few times before she melted the ice and the threads with Ember. Corona then chirped again, but her voice seemed more quiet, as if she was issuing an apology.

---------

In the meantime, Avis, in her frustration (as well as Robert's), sent a Wing Attack to Slade's face to get his attention. It wasn't enough to injure him... Much.

Kenny calmed down somewhat when he saw that the Druddigon were uninterested in them, and Zorro dropped the Illusion. Kenny then spoke to his team.

"Phew. guess I overreacted."

Kenny and his Team then stayed a respectful distance from the Group of Druddigon, sitting back down in the shade of the Tree.

Shiro and Shun ran after Robert towards Slade when Devin appeared. A wave of relief washed over Shiro when the professor told them the Haxorus weren't being really hostile and he sighed, allowing Shun to climb up on his shoulder to rest a bit. Still, he was sort of ashamed of what they did... If those Haxorus weren't hostile, they could have easily become from all the Thunder Waves Shun had shot at them.

"Uhm..." He turned to Robert. Shiro actually wanted to try and apologize to Devin, but he decided the smarter action would be to keep a low profile. "This could have ended pretty badly, don't you think?"

"Mr. Devin Sir, I saw a Salamence. The one with the mega stone around its neck right? I knew it had roared as well." Ryan paused. "Also... I overreacted to the Hydreigon and may have broken my ankle in a desperate attempt at escaping. They just seemed so threatening that I thought the best thing to do would be to suppress them first then go get the others away and back to you. I'm sorry for hurting them." Ryan winced as he moved his foot to show to Devin. The string shot was beginning to wear and their usefulness was nonexistent at that point.

"Uh, yeah," was all Robert could think of to say to Shiro. In retrospect, they were all in Devin's 'area,' but that isn't what your mind goes to when you see something like a Haxorus looming over someone. Pretty awkward situation with that. Atleast they hadn't somehow TURNED the Haxorus aggressive with the attacks they threw at them.

Claudes mind went numb. he couldn't do anything but let out a continuous squeaking as the Tyrunt tugged at Claude. He went along, whilst almost choking Doux in fear. Lancelot, however, had simply fallen asleep on Claudes head, somehow scampering up there at some point.

"I think we should follow these little guys," Kage said, oblivious to Claude's mortal terror as he was pulled along by the Tyrunt. With Lucas's help, he located their mother, and tossed a Pokeblock to her from his pocket. "No need to yank so hard, I'm not even sure this is my shirt," he said, beaming at the little fossil Pokemon.

Jacob couldn't help but burst out in laughter as Devin came walking out of the brush, confirming his suspicions. He looked over at Danielle, causing his heart to feel as though it were twisting in pain. I need to finish talking to her, but first I want to talk to Devin. The young Trainer approached Devin, allowing Ryan the opportunity to show the man his broken ankle before speaking up. Wow. So he trained all of the Haxorus? he thought to himself in wonder, realizing for the first time how well cared-for they seemed to be. In his research of Flygon, Jacob had come across the indicators of a well cared-for Dragon, and these had all the signs. Their scales shone beautifully in the light of Corona's ember attack, and their tusks & claws were razor sharp. Their eyes shone brightly in the dim light of the forest, and when he approached the one near Devin he could feel its body heat emanating from it.

"Wow, Professor Cadmus... These Haxorus are all really strong. I'm sorry we attacked them, but this is the first time I've seen one in person. I guess I panicked a little bit," he said quietly, his face red in embarrassment. When he noticed the two from the pit approaching him, he scooped up Teo and brought him over to the Dragons. "Professor Cadmus, can you help teach me to make Teo as strong as these Haxorus? He's like me. That is to say, he hates losing more than anything else." The Trapinch nodded in agreement and squirmed out of Jacob's grip, moving forward to investigate the Haxorus pair. Jacob calmly extended a hand to one and, seeing that it was docile in the presence of Devin, pet it. He was immediately surprised by the fact that its body was nearly as hot as Flare's. "Professor, why are Dragon-types so warm? Is it because of all the excess energy they produce?" he wondered aloud, beginning to walk around the Haxorus and inspect it closely.

"Slade, get up, we gotta go! Come on."

This is the song coming from the Headphones.

Slade felt a tapping on his shoulder, so he took off his headphones which were booming loud music (to hear what slade heard put your volume up to 100% and play it) and opened his eyes and saw a Haxorus right besides him. He looked at it for a while then he said.

"So what, do you want me to do something or are you just going to stare at me?" Slade said not really intimidated by the Dragon. If he really wanted to hurt Slade he wouldn't of tapped him in the first place, he'd probably just attack. Then he heard Devin's voice.

“Well, apparently I was too late. They change their so called territory every year,”

"Oh, so you're Devin's that's what I thought. Well, if you'll excuse me I have a song to get back to." Slade said about to put back his headphones on but was then wing attacked by Avis to the face, "OW! Avis what was That for, all i did was sit down and listen to music." Slade said a little angry. Then he had just noticed Robert and Shiro talking to each other. 'I'll just sneak off to Danielle and Jacob, they should be done by now.' Slade thought as he crept away from the two guys talking to each other and went toward Danielle,

"So what did I miss?" Slade asked running up next to Danielle, "Seems like there was a battle here. did you attack the Haxorus?" Slade asked with his head phones still booming.

Avis is not amused by your shenanigans, Slade.

Avis flew over to Danielle and perched on her shoulder, dumbfounded at how Slade didn't hear the struggle between the three in the field. As she pondered on how that could have happened, Avis heard faint sounds of music coming from... the headphones. The Murkrow rolled her eyes at his nonchalance. She'll let her master will explain it, somehow.

"Uh... You could say that..." Danielle said meekly, looking over at the damage done to that part of the forest. "We thought they were trying to attack us so we ran for our lives..." she paused for a second; something didn't quite fit into the equation. "Talking about that, didn't you hear anything when Jacob was calling you? Actually, did you hear anything at all? Ryan got injured while we were trying to get away. And I sent Avis to rescue you until we found out that they were harmless." At that, Avis huffed before falling silent again.

"Actually, I didn't," Slade said scratching the back of his head. "I was listening to my music and I kinda put it on high so I heard nothing the entire time. Granted I kinda did that for you and Jacob to give you your privacy in the conversation. Looks like it was more of a burden then help." Slade said chuckling a bit. Now he felt bad about not helping out in their time of need.

Danielle pretended to sigh and shake her head in disbelief. She respected him for minding his own business, but she didn't expect him to take it that far. Heck, Ryan was there eavesdropping on the whole conversation after all. "Well, I can't really blame you. We never expected a Haxorus meeting after all." Danielle admitted before pointing to his headphones. "Just what were you listening to that turned you into a such daydreamer?"

-------

The Murkrow only looked on at the conversation as a silent audience. Considering Slade's explanation, maybe she overreacted back there. Not listening in on things that he shouldn't be is a quality to be admired. With that in mind, Avis flew over to Slade and sat on his shoulder, making herself comfortable by fluffing out her feathers and settling her head in them.

"The song I was listening to? How to explain it..." Slade thought to him self trying to find words to explain why he was so lost in that music. Avis then landed on his right shoulder, he didn't really mind, though that wing attack was still hurting him. "Well, umm... how can I put it into words. Well, the instruments defiantly a good choice, and how it started slow but then got fast really quick also helped fuel my 'day dream' as you called it, though I like to call it 'sinking into the song'. I think it would be easier for you to understand if you just listened it for your self, and don't worry I'll lower the volume see." Slade said taking his MP3 and turning down the volume to a reasonable level. He then restarted the song, took off his head phones and handed it off to Danielle. 'Hopefully she doesn't totally laugh at what kind of music I listen to.' Slade said to himself sighing in his head.

This is the song coming from the Headphones.

Danielle put the headphones on and closed her eyes, focusing on the instrumentals. The beat was, as Slade described, fast-paced, but still understandable. Before she even realized it, the song had ended, much to her disappointment. She smiled and took off the headphones, handing them back to their rightful owner. "Thank you for letting me into your world~ No wonder you were so lost in it. That was a really catchy tune, although it made me want to dance a little," she chuckled, scratching her head in embarrassment. Danielle then noticed that Avis was sitting on Slade's shoulder, which was a sight to behold. That Murkrow only sat on people that Avis trusted; so far, only she and Jacob had gotten the honor. "Oh, Slade, looks like you are the third person to gain Avis' praise. See, she only sits on the people she cares about. What did you do?"

Ryan saw Danielle and Slade immersed in each other's company and gave a pitiful look to Jacob. Ryan mumbled so that no one could hear, "I thought I was the one who deserved pity right now but poor Jacob. He's heartbroken." Ryan slumped up against a tree as another loud crack came from his ankle. Ryan yelped in pain. Glacien, already knowing what to do, gently conjured some snow into Ryan's hand for him to press against his ankle to relieve any swelling. "Just like back in Shoal Cave old pal." Ryan gave a goofy grin and closed his eyes, pressing the snow to his ankle and wincing.

"Oh nothing," Slade said in a care free tone, "all I did was listen to music, talk to a Haxorus that happen to tap my shoulder right before Devin came, then I got wing attack to the face by this little girl on my shoulder. What is being a attack a way of showing respect, in that case hit me again!" Slade said with a smile on his face hoping Avis would catch his sarcasm and not actually hit him again. 'She may seem small but she did pack quite a punch... or wing... maybe talon too, I wonder how strong her peck is?' Slade thought to him self as he put his head phones around his neck and put the MP3 in his pocket.

Avis looked at Slade in the eyes gave him a look that says "You wanna find out?" She then gave what seems to be a laugh. Danielle chuckled, "Well, I had the pleasant opportunity to tell you that her talons are sharp and strong. That's how I got the scar on my right eye, after all~" Her pleasant demeanor, however, was replaced by one with shock when she processed Slade's first statement. "Wait... She hit you... with a Wing Attack?!" Danielle almost screamed. "Avis!" The said Murkrow crowed indignantly and gestured to the headphones and the Haxorus. "You silly bird! You saw that the Haxorus didn't harm anyone, you don't have to hit anyone in the face then! Slade, I'm so sorry, s-she didn't hit you that badly right?" Danielle stammered before getting closer to him, trying to examine his face for any signs of a mark.

"No, no, no, its ok! It barely hurts and besides its her way for showing respect right?" Slade winked at Avis hopping she'd catch on and go with what he was saying. It was with the eye on the other side of his face so Danielle wouldn't see. "What's a wing attack really going to do? It's not like I'm going to die or anyth..." Slade stopped for a moment and started to lean back. He fell on the floor pretending to be dead with his tongue sticking out to show he's obviously not dead but pretending. He even did some fake twitches to go along with him dieing. His fedora fell off his head and slowly floated down onto his face, he wasn't planning on that happening but it was convenient.

As Slade fell back into the grass, Avis quickly flew to the ground and landed next to his face, chuckling at his humor. Avis resisted the urge to remove his fedora; Slade's retracting steps and his hints are good enough to say he's not ready to reveal it yet. So, she settled with giving Danielle a warning glance to say, "Don't push it."

---------

Danielle nodded towards Avis and laughed at Slade's antics. She knelt down besides Avis and poked his arm. "Monsieur, are you sure you don't need me to check up on you? I have been known to treat some ailments, you know~" she replied with humor laced in her words.

Slade laied there unresponsive to Danielle's attempt to speak with him. He held his breath while holding the ridiculous face under the hat, it seemed like he wasn't breathing. To everyone that didn't know they could assume he's dead or worse. he thought to himself, 'Man, glad I can hold my breath for over three minuets. That'll give me plenty of time.'

As Sissy was walking ,with her two partners next to her, towards the path ahaid her, Miss' cry stopped her from moving. Miss was always looking behind her trainer for any intruders. Her hiding place fitted her too well so as noone can see her. "I guess we should stop here and let the guy who's following us ,to come closer." She said to both her pokemon and turned around to see who or what was following them. For her surprise, a huge Flygon came flying at her. He stopped near her with a little gust coming from his wings as he landed. Now I run or not? He is big but doesn't seem angry or something. It seems that it's one of Devin's pokemon. Let's just approach... Her thought was gone all of a sudden as she saw Miffy running straight to it.

"I hope, Miffy's instict goes well." She wispered to herself and went to where Flygon had landed.

"Hey buddy. You want a little snack?" She said and searched her bag for any berries that were left. She grapped a sitrus berry and held it infront of Flygon's mouth. It is either my hand with the berry or just the berry. She quickly thought, seeing the Flygon streching his neck towards her hand. In a glimpse the berry dissapeared and went inside Flygon's mouth, leaving unharmed her hand.

"I guess, you were right once again Miffy." She said and petted Miffy's head. The Flaaffy gave a small cry and started yawning again.

Stratos

Alvin turned around when he heard Mareek talking. “Who cares?” he answered. “It’s probably one of those idiots that made it angry by either bullying it or being incredibly rude. And dragons aren’t sophisticated as bug types so they would fall for the taunts.” He turned his attention back to Lana.

The shy girl spoke up before Alvin could say anything else about his precious bug types. “What Alvin means is that we’re on Professor Cadmus territory. All the dragons here shouldn’t be a threat,” she said with her soft voice. She knew Alvin all too well and hoped Mareek wouldn’t be offended by the bug trainer.

In the meantime Colin tried to pet a Kingdra when the playful Horsea got closer. It used a water pulse to grab his attention and wanted to play with him, but the attack hit Colin’s hand causing the boy to loose grip and fall into the pond.

Haxorus group

Devin was shocked when he found out when of his students was hurt. He turned his attention to the Haxorus. “That’s exactly the reason why I tell you every year to keep it to a minimum!” the authority in his voice made the Haxorus bow their heads. He patted the closest one. “I know none of you wanted this.” He looked around for a bit to find the best way to deal with all of this. There weren’t any other teachers with him and he couldn’t leave the rest of the students alone. Not with that Hydreigon around.

“Jacob, I’ll answer your questions after I helped your friend over there,” he pointed at Ryan. “In the meantime I want you to do something for me. Find that Salamence that roared earlier. You can’t miss it; it’s bigger than any other Salamence and has a mega evolution stone around its neck. Tell it I’ve sent you and that it has to keep an eye out for Hydreigon. He’ll know which one I mean.”

With that said he walked over to Ryan and carefully picked him up. “Point Jacob in the direction of where you last saw that Salamence,” he said before walking over to the pretending-to-be-dead Slade. He disapproved the boy’s action. This was no time to try and impress a girl, not while his friend might have a broken ankle. “You two, this is not the time! Your friend might be seriously hurt!” he said to Danielle and Slade. The authority and intimidating look he only used when he really wasn’t amused by something showed again. He laid Slade over his shoulder and was about to leave the forest. “Listen up, I’m sending you both back to the Academy. Tell the driver Ryan had an accident and needs to have medical attention. He’ll drive you back to the Academy and find Professor Redwood. He’ll take care of everything.”

After Ryan pointed Jacob in the right direction he left the forest and walked towards the bus.

K_H

A Druddigon approached the group from behind. Its curiosity was peeked when he saw the illusion were off. After all, how many times does one see a rock change into a human with two Pokémon? The dragon walked over and started to sniff the Zorua.

Tses

The Flygon chirped happily after eating the berry, glad it found a new friend to play with. It came closer and bowed in a way Sissy could easily sit on its back.

Elf and Murdoc

Both students were pulled along by the small Tyrunt’s while their mother found the Pokéblock. She sniffed at it for a moment before eating it and letting out a happy cry. She went closer to Kage and nudged him with her snout, trying to locate some more delicious snacks.

In the meantime Claude’s Tyrunt dragged him along a little further to the edge of the battlefield. It looked into a pit, then to Claude and back into the pit. It kept using the same movements over and over again until Claude would see a red ball lying in there.

While Henry was slowly progressing through the forest, he saw a boy and Dragonite staring each other down. Henry couldn't help but give a little chuckle. "I hope you're not expecting to win that. If that Dragonite is a sore loser, you might be sent flying to the paramedics. Since I'm here, have you seen a Salamence around? The faster I find that thing, the faster I can get away from these dragons." Henry turned to the Dragonite. "No offence. I've just had very, very bad experiences with them."
