As Slade was being scolded by Devin he didn't know what he ment by us ignoring Ryan. He looked over and saw Ryan who had broken his leg or at least hurt it badly. He then felt guilty about not realizing this sooner, though he never knew thanks the those head phones. He went over to Ryan and said,

"I'm sorry I didn't notice your injury earlier. Come on, I'll help you to the bus." He said leaning forward a little to have Ryan put his hand around his shoulder.

Evan turned around when he heard Henry’s voice. “Damn it, I lost!” he said disappointed. The Dragonite gave a mischievous grin before flying off. “Don’t you smile like that! I want a rematch!” he joked before turning his attention to Henry.

“Guess I don’t have to worry about it being a sore loser,” he replied. “But no, I haven’t seen a Salamence around.” His eye fell on Henry’s cane. “Does that very bad experience have something to do with that?” he asked pointing to the cane. “If it is you might’ve been unlucky. Not all dragons are bad just like that Dragonite. I might go for one…” he muttered that last part more to himself when suddenly another aggressive roar sounded. It wasn’t as loud as the Salamence’s, but this one was hostile and a clear threat.

"No, let's just say it was a training accident." Before Henry could say anything else, a loud cry filled the area. "I hope you can call your Dragonite friend back here. I may not be able to recognize the Pokemon, but I know exactly what that means. Whatever that Salamence was looking for seemed to have found us. Normally, I'd try outrunning you, but I have a bit of a leg problem. Hopefully, I can buy enough time for help to arrive."

"Sorry to put you through the trouble. No need to apologize." Ryan sighed. At least everyone else is safe this time. Ryan hopped on one foot with his arm around Slade's shoulder. "I never wanted this to happen in the first place."

"That's n-not how it looks! I-I'm sorry sir!" Danielle quickly got up and bowed, her cheeks flushed red from embarrassment. Avis also gave a sort of bow as she went back on her master's shoulder. Normally, she would come to Danielle's defense (Corona did help with the String Shot), but Devin's stern gaze made the curious bird think otherwise. As Devin, Slade and Ryan left her and Jacob, alone, Danielle sighed before turning to the Haxorus, who were still standing there with them. She chuckled, pulled out three Oran Berries and walked over to them with her hands outstretched. "I have to apologize to you, too. I didn't mean to hurt any of you. So, want some berries before we go find Salamence?" Avis followed suit and crowed them an apology as well.

---------------

On the ground, Corona was making a sort of giggling sound before she made her way over to Danielle's side. Oh, she did see what had happened, but she kept her mouth shut to avoid breaking the moment.

Whilst Claude was dazed, Doux noticed the small Tyrunts actions. After a considerable amount of effort to extricate himself from Claudes grip, he floated down to the red ball and precariously picked it up. After some effort, the ball was quite heavy for the small pokemon, Doux floated up and dropped the ball in front of Claude. All of this managed to snap him out of his fearful state. He almost panicked again when he remembered Kages advice. Staying still, he asked the Tyrunt if it wanted to play, albeit he did so in a rather forced voice in a weak attempt to hide his fear.

Kenny and his Team were asleep at the foot of the Tree when the Druddigon came over and investigated Zorro, waking the Zorua in the process. Zorro saw the Druddigon, and kept calm, starting to communicate with it.

"Zor, zoru. Zo zor ru?" [Translation: "Oh, hello. who are you?"]

Jacob pressed the return button on Chalchi's ball, calling back the Lapras after Devin asked him for a personal favor. "We'll get on it right away, Dev- I mean, Professor!" he said excitedly. Wow... Professor Cadmus entrusted me with something important! I'm one step closer to earning the respect of one of the greatest Trainers in the world! he thought happily, beckoning Teo over to him. The Trapinch reluctantly left the Haxorus alone and came to Jacob's side. The young Trainer then looked over at Danielle, feeling a pang of heartache as he heard Devin scolding Slade for flirting with her. Could she be any more insensitive? I just told her that it's that very thing that's been making me miserable. He sighed and cleared his throat. "Danielle, whenever you're ready we should go find that Salamence," he said curtly, suppressing his emotions for the time being. No matter what's going on in my personal life, I won't let it interfere with Devin teaching me how to unlock Teo's true potential, he thought sternly.

However, as he looked at Danielle, he knew that it would be difficult. She's my best friend, but she can't support me on this one, he thought to himself. I need to be self-reliant. I need to be disciplined, and I need to have willpower, he realized, remembering Sensei Igor's words: "If you can't control yourself, you can't control the world around you." With that, he resolved that no matter what he would not break down like before. I can do this. I've done harder things in the past and I will need to overcome greater obstacles than this if I want to be a truly great Trainer. This is just one step on the pathway to my future.

Jacob and Teo began to walk where Ryan had pointed as the young Trainer beckoned to Danielle to follow.

The Druddigon didn’t reply. It was the first time it saw a Zorua and the dragon was pretty sure the dark type was responsible for the previous illusion. It decided to poke the Zorua lightly to see what would happen next.

“I’ve no idea where that Dragonite went so that’s a no,” Evan replied when turning his attention to the forest. “And are you saying you would leave me behind if not for that leg of yours? And to think people call me an ass… you must be very popular,” he said sarcastically.

The noise became louder as the duo could hear twigs snap and leaves rustling in the wind. Out of the trees appeared a very angry Hydreigon. Both students knew they were in trouble and couldn’t outrun it, but something was wrong. Instead of the black eyes and fuchsia pupils Devin told them about, this one had eyes white as milk, giving the Hydreigon an even more terrifying look.

Evan took a step back, overwhelmed by the presence, and drew the blind dragon’s attention towards him. “Oh crap, this isn’t good,” he muttered. “Get out of here while you still can!” he ordered Henry.

Everything was settled down quietly as Devin came to the scene. The Haxorus were all calmed down now and Shun could take a break. She sighed silently and came to Shiro's side.

"Uhm... Robert." Shiro muttered as everybody soon dispersed as Devin commanded, leaving only the two of them there. "I... would like to go back to where we came from... but, I mean... if you want to go after them, I won't stop you or anything. I might try and find Henry... There was something odd about him when I last saw him."

“And are you saying you would leave me behind if not for that leg of yours? And to think people call me an ass… you must be very popular.”

"Probably," Henry responded. "When you lived in a world where crime rules, you pick up some bad habits. You simply learn to leave the weakest link behind in order for your own survival. Being the weakest link, I wouldn't take any offense for leaving me here."

Henry then saw the blind beast in front of them. He noticed something odd about the bizarre white eyes. "Blind, eh? Might be able to use that to our advantage."

“Get out of here while you still can!”

"I told you already, I have no chance of escaping. Don't worry about what happens to me, just get out of here. I don't know how long I can keep this thing occupied." Henry slowly moved behind a tree and broke a twig to grab the Dragon's attention. A ball of light suddenly began floating around the dragon and spun very fast (confuse Ray). This was shortly by a purple powder that filled the air around the blind dragon (Poison Powder).

"Go, your life is more valuable than mine. All I really am is just a waste." He hoped that Evan would take a hint and leave.

"Danielle, whenever you're ready we should go find that Salamence."

Danielle turned around to find Jacob walking in a certain direction; he looked so serious about this mission. 'And from what we first started.' Her expression became somber, dreading the awkward confrontation again. She gave one last pat to a nearby, eating Haxorus before she heard a sad chirp by her feet. Danielle looked down to find a nervous Corona looking up at her with her small, blue eyes. The coordinator knelt down and gave her a reassuring smile as she took out her Larvesta's Pokeball. "Don't worry about me, Corona, I can handle it. I'll let you back out soon, okay?" The bug Pokemon gave a look towards Avis and nodded before she was absorbed into the spherical ball. Danielle then stood up and began walking towards Jacob, holding out her Dusk Ball to Avis. "Avis...?" The Murkrow shook her head; Teo is around, why can't she? Avis gave her a friendly peck on her ear before she fluffed herself up and closed her eyes; her mind was made up. Danielle pat her and put away her Dusk Ball. "Thank you, Avis," she whispered to her overly-curious bird before turning to Jacob. "Let's go Salamence hunting then!"

Slade took Flare's pokeball and let him out, "Flare lead the way to the bus." Flare followed the scent of Devin towards the bus. They slowly walked through the forest watching out for and holes in the ground. Slade wasn't a very good conversation starter so he waited for Ryan to respond.

Ryan kept his mouth shut the whole time, thinking conversation wasn't truly necessary. He had no intentions to make friends with the guy taking away his friend's crush. By the time Ryan had reached the bus with Slade, he almost collapsed on the ground. Ryan could easily walk long distances but the lack of use in one leg made it a frustrating journey. "I can take it from here. Thank you for your help Slade." Ryan's speech was terse and emotionless. Not trying to be rude its just I'm not in the mood to be talking to Mr. Steal Yo Friend's Girl. Ryan turned and boarded the bus. I sure hope I can at least go on the trip. I want Devin to at least be able to trust me with a dragon. Plus I'm gonna have to win my way to favorite student and best trainer. Ryan chuckled for a second but winced as his ankle cracked again when he sat down. To keep his mind off his injury, Ryan got him MP3 player and put on his favorite playlist to distract himself.

(Insert awkward playlist of few songs I could think of.)

Kage giggled at the nudge, though it was almost enough to knock the boy over. "Oh, fine, you've convinced me." He rubbed the Dragon-type's snout affectionately, then dug in his pocket once more. Ignoring the reproachful signals from his Pokemon, he tossed another Pokeblock into the air in front of the Tyrantrum. "Now, where do the little ones want to take us?"

As Shiro spoke, Robert realized that the groups were headed apart. "If you feel that you want head back, go ahead. I, personally, want to see this through. Not only did I charge head first into danger, I went so far as to Shock a GROUP of Haxorus, with the mind that I'd be putting myself in danger for others. I'm not asking you to follow, but I know I'm going to." With that, Robert returned Voltage for the mean time, and headed to Danielle and Jacob.

Salamence Hunters

If the small group under Jacob’s guidance kept following the path Ryan pointed to, they would find a group of Druddigon. One of them was Pokémon a Zorua while a Riolu and trainer were close by.

The confuse ray attack didn’t affect the Hydreigon in the slightest. It couldn’t see the ball of light but due to its blindness all its other senses were heightened. It could literally smell the poison in the air and dodged the attack. It only made the dragon even madder as it was certain it was dealing with enemies.

A dark ball formed around its mouths as it released the attack to whatever tried to poison it. (Dark Pulse) The attack was powerful enough to leave a hole in the ground.

In the meantime Evan was surprised about how stupid Henry actually was. The guy only had one decent leg so how long could he keep stalling? Evan on the other hand could run around and try to confuse the Hydreigon with more success.

He was about to leave and look for help when he saw an image of his brother in a wheelchair. “Damn I can’t leave the guy behind,” he muttered. “He would probably die before I can find help.” He sighed. “Oi, dumbass, I have two healthy legs. I can stall it for far longer than you! So go and find some help!”

His yelling earned him the attention of the Hydreigon. This time it fired a purple ball that halfway towards him took the shape of a dragon. Evan jumped out of the way and barely managed to dodge.

((I used the animation from the anime when Mega Blastoise used Dragon Pulse))

Elf and Murdoc

The Tyrantrum roared satisfied when it managed to get another Pokéblock. In the meantime the Tyrunt pulled Kage harder and tried to get him to where Claude was.

The Tyrunt that was occupying Claude only stared at him and the ball intentionally. Its tail swung from left to right in an excited way.

EXLink and Tacos

Devin gave the old bus driver instructions. When the man nodded he turned his attention to the two students. “Make sure to help Ryan when you get to the Academy,” he instructed Slade. The bus doors closed and the driver took off.

what does it want from me?!!? Claude had no clue what to do under the pokemons gaze. It seemed to be waiting on him. It wasn't until Doux chirped and knocked the ball a little that Claude caught on. Slowly, he picked up the ball, making sure to keep an eye on the small pokemon, and he threw it, it went sailing away, landing a fair distance away.Just this small movement took a lot of effort from poor Claude. Kage...?" Claude asked in a whisper. "I threw the ball. Now what...?

"Alright..." Shiro watched as Robert followed after Danielle and Jacob. It made him feel kind of fuzzy... He didn't want Robert to go right now...

But he shook his head and shrugged it off, swiftly turning around in order to run back to where they came from. Luckily, Shun knew the way so she could lead him through the forest. After a while, they returned to the path on which Devin first left them. Shiro spun around, examining each path in search of any traces. But all were full of them, and there was no telling which ones were Henry's. 'Which way did Henry go?'

It was about then that he heard something like an explosion nearby. 'Could it be Henry?' he wondered.

It only took a few seconds for him to decide his actions. He was going to go see what it was. "Shun!" He turned to his trusty Pokemon. "Let's go." Shiro picked Shun up and ran in the direction of the explosion, ramming through bushes and between the trees. He stopped when he heard another loud bang. Only, this time, he managed to get a glimpse of some bright purple light shining through the thick layer of leaves in front of him.

The light was really close, and whatever caused it was apparently really strong. He didn't want to move on forward, but if there was even a slight chance Henry was there...

"Shun..." He whispered. "Can you feel Henry there?" Shun almost immediately nodded when she heard the question. "I see... Then we have to go there..." Shun nodded again. "Okay..." He said as he resumed his run. After a few trees, his eyes laid upon Henry, some other boy and a big, black three headed dragon fighting.

"Henry!" Shiro shouted, attracting Hydregion's attention. "Crap..." He took cover behind his arms, expecting the creature to strike him, but Shun interfered in time, sending an array of Thunder Waves at the monster, giving the duo a chance to escape and join up with Henry. Zuko was there with him, engaging the dragon.

Mareek turned his attention away from Lana and the other boy as a loud splash came from not far away. He looked just in time to catch a glimpse of a familiar looking boy going under the pond's surface, the water rippling and roiling from his intrusion... of course... It's the clutz who ran into him on the first day at the accedemy. No surprise that he had just gone and fallen into the Kingdra pool. Honestly, he preferred to just stand by and let the fool get himself out... but, that wouldn't be very "kind", now would it?

"Hey, You need any help over there?" he called. The Reluctance in his voice was clear as day.

((Bfroger, I'll let it slide, but there's no way Shiro would be able to reach Henry in that short amount of time))

Dammit, this thing is way too strong for us. How are we supposed to beat a blind dragon? Wait...blind.

Henry was just barely able to beam both Gypsy and Zuko back into their Pokeballs without them being hurt. "Evan, I think we have this all wrong. It might be possible the dragon thinks we're enemies. Don't attack it. Think of something that we could use to PROVE we're friends with Devin."

Just then, Shiro suddenly came in and started attacking the Hydreigon. Shiro, you're really not helping here. Well, now I'm no longer the weakest link here.

Commander and Bfroger

Evan cursed when he saw another idiot pop up out of nowhere and attack the Hydreigon. “There goes the plan!” he yelled to Henry when the thunder waves didn’t do anything. It failed to paralyze the strong body and only added to the anger the dragon already felt. Hydreigon was sure now he was dealing with enemies and didn’t hold back. A black sphere found its way towards Shiro and Shun; strong enough to knock-out the Ralts if it hit. It then turned its attention back towards Evan and fired another Dragon Pulse just as the student recalled his Pokémon. The attack hit the ground before him sending Evan flying and hitting the ground pretty hard.

Colin showed a big grin and rubbed his head in embarrassment. “Oh hey mate! I got a little carried away I guess, can you give me a hand to get me out?” The Horsea swam circles around him enthusiastically; convinced it had a new friend to play with.

((Damn controlling PCs is a pain.))
