Avis flew back onto Danielle's shoulder just as Danielle was about to poke her head into the lab. Like her master, Avis was curious about the lab and its contents too. Danielle, being her usual, outgoing self, entered the lab with a wave to Brendan. "Hello there~" she then realized that Rebecca, Devin, Phoebe, and Professor Redwood were also present. The sight of the authoritative officials gathered in one place made her a little more shy than usual. "Oh, uh... Is this a bad timing? We just wanted to explore around... And Mareek has to get his Pokeball clip fixed..."

Training Facility ((Use it to teach your Pokémon some moves like other Egg moves, HM, TM, Move tutor... Same rules apply here: don't make your Pokémon OP from the start.))

The Training Facility was made of the exact same white stone as the Main Building. The roof wasn’t visible, but the door and window frames had a dark brown color. When Kenny and Robert reached the doors, they were already opened like usual. They were only closed after 9 PM and opened up at 7 AM for those who wanted to do a quick work out before class.

Both students hadn’t been here before which wasn’t uncommon for first years. The doors were closed on the first day they arrived and both of them were still building and getting to know their teams after all. Usually the place was filled with second and third years that discovered the useful machinery and tried to teach a certain move to a Pokémon, but they too started out with sparring against each other and come up with techniques to use in battle. Because they had an early break due to the accident that happened with Ryan, the place was almost empty. A few students that had a free period were visible from outside.

The Training Facility was a large, mainly open area. The place was filled with sunlight that came through the giant glass dome right above the open space. Next to them, on both sides, were staircases leading to the upper floor. ((There are only 2 floors)). The upper floor was as big as the ground floor, but didn’t cover it entirely. If a student would stand directly under the dome he or she could see parts of the equipment on the upper floor. The only thing that kept students from falling down was a fence made of glass. Luckily it was heavy enough and bulletproof so even if something went wrong damage was kept to a minimum.

The second floor mainly had equipment to train strength; weights, punching bags, press benches, … Some of them were normal ones like you find in every gym so students could use them as well, others were specially build for Pokémon. Kenny and Robert couldn’t see it from where they were standing, but Tyron was training his Aggron there. It was a basic exercise where Aggron walked forward while being held back by as much weight as possible. Tyron’s Mienshao was hitting a punching bag with a special design so she wouldn’t rip through it. The rest of the equipment was mostly made for stamina. Pokémon and students could run next to each other or use one of the home trainers. All of them had a label with maximum weight allowed. ((Only smaller Pokémon can go on a home trainer. Aggron would break it in 2 seconds)). There were also special machines that threw punches. Of course the punches weren’t that hard so if it hit a Pokémon damage was limited. The smallest machine could throw 10 punches from different locations while the largest had a limit of 50. ((Two can train at the same time at this one))

The ground floor focused more on special moves. Each piece of equipment had more space and its own area. The opposite from the punching machine was here. Big Whack-A-Diglett machines were standing against the wall to help aiming. There was also an entire display of equipment like Choice items (Scarf, Specs, Band) and Life Orbs. ((Every item used in competitive does exactly the same to help with training)).

Aside from the equipment and machines there were 5 doors. Each one had a symbol and words on it. Two doors were on the left, far from each other, and two on the right. They each led to a separate room. One of them, far left, was the entrance to the swimming pool. There was also a machine that made waves and to help with general water attacks. Another one, far right, was made for ground moves and had heavily reinforced walls and roof. The closest one to the right helped with electric attacks. There was one specific machine that made sure to absorb all electrical power that missed the targets and was used as a power source. The fourth door, closest on the left, did the same for fire attacks. This one had a sprinkler system that ran between the ‘water room’ and the ‘fire room’.

The fifth door led to what students liked to call ‘the head of the turtle’. ((From a birds point of view the building looks like a turtle)). It was the only cylinder shaped room and was used to train flying type attacks or as a hard target practice. One of the popular methods was to throw discs on the turbine and the Pokémon had to hit a flying target.

((I might come up with more machines for special training, but if it makes sense I’ll allow you to invent your own if you want. Or you can ask me a request and I’ll make it))

Just entering the Training Building, Robert was extremely surprised. The closest the Dewford's gym had to this place was the 'physical' equipment, which was easily out-classed by what was just by what could be seen from the area that he could see first off. "Well, this place is in a league of it's own. Anything specific you wanna look for? If not, then I'm probably look for something standard for now."

"Actually, I'd prefer letting them do whatever they came here for first," Mareek said, taking out Java's defective Capsule, Looking at Redwood. "Though, Of course, sir, If this isn't an opportune time, we can all just come back later on."

All Java did was subtlety roll his eyes upon hearing the boy say that...

Redwood walked over to the students. “No, you aren’t disturbing us at all. We were discussing the best way to get one of your classmates on the trip. The boy broke his ankle earlier today. You might know him. His name is Ryan Johnson.” Redwood gestured for the students to enter the lab. He turned to Mareek. “We can fix that Pokéball now. Brendan over there can help you with that. In the meantime I’ll help your fellow classmates.”

He turned back to Danielle. “How can I help you?”

Ryan wrapped his arms around Kage as his arms had rolled a wave of pleasure and comfort through Ryan's body. Ryan quickly pulled away. "Well that was enjoyable!" Ryan gave quick pinch to Kage's rear and stumbled over to the kitchen. "Now that your mouth is warmed up, are you in the mood for anything in particular?" Ryan chuckled, realizing how incredibly and ridiculously flirtatious he was being.

"Well, actually, I just came around to take a tour of the labs, since it's one of the only places I haven't been to yet in school," Danielle replied, scratching the back of her head. It was a bit embarrassing that she really didn't have a better reason other than taking a tour. Avis, however, in her curiosity, flew over to a stash of purplish-stones and began pecking at them. "Avis! What are you doing? Don't peck them!" Her Murkrow picked one of the tiny stones up with her beak and showed it to her. Danielle raised an eyebrow at the accessory and turned back to Professor Redwood. "Sorry, my Murkrow likes new things. Is that stone she is holding an Eviolite?"

((TEXT WALL!!!))

Kenny smiled.

"I'm gonna go upstairs and see what the Equipment is, but you can go ahead and do what training you want."

Kenny, Ryu, Eve, and Zorro then headed upstairs, only to find that they weren't the only ones other than Robert an his Team when they saw Tyron using two of the Machines. Kenny and his Team headed over to another set of punching Bags, and Kenny decided to work on Eve's Attacks and Attack Power, Ryu's Speed, and Zorro's Evasiveness, equipping Eve with a Power Bracer.

"OK, Eve, let's work on you first."

Kenny then pointed at a Punching Bag.

"Hit that Punching Bag as hard as you can."

Eve responded by running at the Punching Bag, colliding with quite a bit of force. (Tackle)

"Nice hit! do it again."

Eve repeated the same maneuver.

"Do it again. you've got this!"

Eve did it a third time.

"You're doing great! Hit it again, harder this time!"

This time, Eve started to do the same thing, but instead of hitting the Punching Bag head on, her Tail took on a metallic luster, and she whacked the Punching Bag with it. (Iron Tail)

"Nicely done, Eve! do it a second time!"

Eve hit the Target with Iron Tail again.

"Great! do it again!"

another Iron Tail hit the Punching Bag.

"You've got this! do it another time!"

Eve hit the Punching Bag with Iron Tail again.

"Once more, and then we're done!"

Eve missed on her first attempt this time, but circled around for another attempt and hit it.

"OK, Eve, I'd say that's a good workout."

Kenny then unequipped the Power Bracer and put it back, exchanging it for a Power Anklet, which he equipped on Ryu.

"Now, let's work on your Speed, Ryu."

Kenny then pointed at a different Punching Bag.

"Hit that Punching Bag as fast as you can!"

Ryu let out a few punches and kicks at the Punching bag.

"Faster! You've got this!"

Ryu's attacking speed increased.

"Faster! You're doing great!"

All of a sudden, Ryu's attacking speed jumped through the roof, and he let off a blindingly fast set of Punches as his paws took on a Metallic luster. (Bullet Punch)

"Whoa! Ryu, well done! I'd say that's definitely enough!"

Kenny unequipped the Power Anklet from Ryu, and put it away.

"Ok, two down, one to go. Zorro, it's your turn."

This time, Kenny and his Team headed over to a medium-sized Punching Machine.

"Let's work on your Evasiveness."

Zorro entered the Punching Machine, and Kenny activated it. Zorro ducked and weaved between the Punches as they came his way, occasionally getting hit. after Zorro got hit for the fifth time, about nine minutes later, Kenny switched off the machine, and Zorro came out of it.

"Well done, Zorro."

Kenny then gave Zorro an Oran Berry, which was enough to fully replenish his HP.

"Alright," Mareek said, heading over to Brendan's desk as Redwood attended to the others, Java following close behind, his eyes unreadable. He held up the Porygon's capsule, turning it around in his hand so that the man could have a clear view of the clip. "You see, The main issue with it is that the Clip tends to malfunction from time to time and fall off my belt. In fact, the latest incident was only a few minutes before I came up here."

After Kenny had headed up, Robert went over to lift some weights. Around ten minutes later, Robert decided to go upstairs to see if Kenny found anything good. Once he got up there, he found Kenny working on his 'Pokemon's training.' Seeing that, Robert felt himself obliged to do the same. Robert ended up grabbing a Power Bracer and handed it to Kiai.

"Okay buddy, how bout we work on your training? Use Quick Attack on that Punching Bag." Once he pointed in the direction of the bag, Kiai took a stance and jumped forward into a Quick Attack. After 5 more Quick Attacks, Robert had Kiai switch to Force Palms. After a while, Robert came up with a decent combo. "Kiai, use Quick Attack, once you pick up enough speed, switch to Force Palm." After about 6 tries, either pulling the Force Palm out to quick or to slow, Kiai finally got a good timing on the combo and Hit the Force Palm with the speed of a Quick Attack. "Good job, Kiai! Now try it again." After a couple more successful attempts, Robert felt that they had a good cemented timing with that, atleast for now. At said time, he signal'd Kiai over, gave him a happy pat on the head for the success, and turned to release Voltage. In a happy 'Bibi,' he looked around where they were, and had spotted a sign by a room that seemed to say 'Electric.' He walked in to see the specially designed room, seeming to be built just for electric types.

"Well that's a good thing. It's doubt worthy that working on Shock Wave would be a good idea near normal equipment. Okay, Voltage, I want you to try and fire some Shock Waves at those targets over there." After the signal, Voltage whirled his arms and set a Shock Wave towards the target, having the residual electricity be absorbed by some machine. Robert had continued the commands, changing the target every so often, and decided to work on another move while in there. "Okay Voltage, try using Swift on the targets now." After saying so, the Elekid did the same task with the Swifts. Realizing how they were the only special moves Voltage had, he came up with a combination similar to the one earlier. "Okay Voltage, I want to try something out. Start off by charging up a Shock Wave, but instead of releasing it, try to charge a Swift with it. Sound like a plan?" After an excited nod, Voltage started to charge up a Shock Wave, doing his best to contain the electricity, he started to release the Swift stars and put whatever electricity he had held in to the Swift, and launched the Stars. While it was understandable that he had no idea yet how to do the combination, the was something else about it that was prevalent, as Robert remembered that the Pokedex stated how Elekids can't easily store their electricity. "Okay Voltage, how about this. Don't do the moves one at a time, but charge the electricity into the Swift as you go okay?" After stating that, Voltage felt a need to prove that he could do it, as a symbol of self pride. After a while, Voltage got the got the charging of the stars good, but they ended up emitting so many sparks along the way that the Electricaly charge left when hitting the target seemed minimal. Voltage noticed it himself, and got a sneer-esque grin on his face, trying to be happy with what he did instead of what he could've done. "It's okay Voltage, we only just came up with this combo, you'll get it eventually."

Giving Voltage an appreciative pet, Robert realized how he forgot about 'Static,' and got a decent shock from it. He picked himself up, walked out of the electric room, and headed over to where Kenny was. "So, you got any self training you wanna do while we're here? Weights? Exercise Bike? Or did you have your fill today?"

Ideal combos made:

Kiai: Flash Palm (Speedy launch of Quick Attack + Force Palm)

Voltage: Shock Stars (Shock Wave powered Swift; electrically charged Swift)

"Assuming you mean food, then something with lots of meat. I want meat." He let the statement hang in the air on it's own, while laughing at the almost-unintended implication behind the statement. Kage resisted the urge to add the stipulation of sausage to his request to avoid overdoing the joke.

"Oh, lunch. Yeah, forgot about that a little bit. Guess my stomache hasn't caught up to me yet..." Just then, his stomache started growling. "Right on cue it seems. If you want, I can cook us up something simple, maybe Sushi or Riceballs,..." Just then his stomache growled even louder, feeling it was being taunted by words of food. "...or we could just go to the cafeteria and eat there."

(Your choice K_H. I'm just wondering if we'll get 'intercepted' in either situations.)

While listening to Kenny's response, Robert returned Kiai and Voltage for a well deserved rest, at least until the food was gotten. "Okay then, sushi it is. Go ahead and go to the dorm, I'll swing by the store for the ingredients." And with that, Robert headed straight from there to the store, grabbing the obvious Rice, Magikarp meat, as well as a hunk of Slowpoke tail to use as a 'sweeter' sushi option. After paying for all the food, Robert went rapidly towards the dorms, partially from not knowing the time they had before class, making sure they'd be able to enjoy the food without scarfing it down, but mostly from his stomach, which would probably make them want to scarf the first few bites anyways.

------

(K_H, go ahead and start off any 'lunch interactions' you want to get through, if any, by saying that Robert finished the food 'eventually.' Apart from whatever Kenny would say/do, Robert would probably be focused solely on the eating.)

While Robert got the Ingreedients in the Store, Kenny headed back to the Dorm Room.

((Robert, feel free to Bunny Kenny and his Team, I've got no planned Interactions.))

After awhile of cooking, the sushi was finally finished. After setting the bowls for Kiai, Voltage, Zoro and Eve down on the floor, Robert remembered how Ryu had become a Lucario just earlier today, and had to question if it'd even be okay to eat out of a bowl that way now. Eventually, he decided to clear off the end-table and allow Ryu to eat like that, at least for now. Once that little 'questioning' was taken care of, he released Kiai and Voltage out to their bowls as usual, and signaled Kenny to grab whatever he'd like, as Robert was following his example and grabbing 3 of both kind, enjoying his hungered labors.

Ryan teased Kage suggestively. "Oh we can save that for another time." Ryan chuckled then turned back to the kitchen, whipping up a Cajun spiced Miltank steak with extreme ease. He slid the plate over to Kage. "Will this satisfy your cravings for a short amount of time?"

Oh, lunch time. "Well," Raiza started as she got up with the violin bag on her shoulder and as she stretched and yawned, "I'm pretty sure you're both hungry, pon? Come, then, let's go grab us some grub, pon. If we're fast enough, we can come back up on the rooftop and eat there instead... the canteen's almost always filled with people, anyway, pon." With that, the trio descended down the stairs to make their way to the cafeteria.

It looked like they weren't going to make it back upstairs. Raiza sighed. For some reason everyone had chosen to get their lunch today and eat at the cafeteria, so the lines, though service was normally quick and efficient, were ridiculously long. "Maybe I should've just gotten some groceries instead to cook," she muttered in annoyance. Lucifer, though, had no complaints; he feasted on little bits of life force from all the other kids that surrounded them. Surely Raiza wouldn't mind... anyway, it's not like she could tell. Rogue the Sneasel was secured back inside her Pokeball since she shared her Trainer's discomfort with crowds.

Kage answered the question in his usual fashion: that is, he immediately set upon the dish as if it had insulted his ancestors, devouring a good half of it before stopping. Mouth still half-full, he asked the chef a question. "Aren you funfry? I dust tought of dat."

Kage nearly choked on the food, lapsing into a coughing fit at Ryan's comment. It was equal parts amusement and surprise, but it still resulted in bits of his dish being scattered around the general area in front of him on the table. After he recovered, he finally managed, "I bet I could, at that." He wiped his mouth with his sleeve, and cleared his throat. "You didn't answer the question, by the way."

Ryan burst out in laughter as Kage's food flew across the table. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't even tell what you said in the first place." Ryan looked at Kage, slightly concerned as he began wiping up the bits of steak.
