The determination granting stare from Cubone was still very strong. Just another glance back down at him and Mareek felt it surge within him, mentally charged forward along the edge of his mental wall, and took the words he was looking for rather than waiting for them to swing around and drop by.

"She was a gift for my eighth birthday," he began. "From my... my older brother." he snarled a little at the mention of the word 'Brother', obviously angered by some memory associated with it. He didn't let his anger and his pain and hate from that aweful day he was thinking about rise up though, He focused himself on keeping onwards in the momentum of the words. Cubone just nodded at him, encouraging all the further, sensing that whatever the issue was, he was helping him through.

"He'd... he would always show up on that day," Mareek continued. "Ever since he had left home when I was like five. He always had expensive Birthday gifts for me when he visited. Every year I asked the same thing: where'd he get it? how did he manage to pay for something like it? and every year he would always tell me the same thing: Don't worry about it. And my birthday that year was nothing different, except that time instead of something expensive, he had a pokeball hidden behind his back." He glanced other at Erce, surprising her with the determination in his eyes. "In it was Erce. I didn't where she had come from back then, but over the years, as I got older I became fairly certain that she'd been a prize at the Game Corner in Celadon Game Corner at some point... and probably abandoned before that." He paused for a moment, considering that wording.

"You know what? no...not abandoned... more like she was probably stolen from her original Trainer, either that or poached up from the wild and sold on the black market or something. Either way, she's never been willing to give any hints about what may or may not have happened, so I'm not going to ever force her to." Erce was very much surprised by the boy's words... so all these years, he had suspected that she had been stolen from someone else? Of course he had... this would explain those few times when he would suddenly ask her how things had been for her before befriending him, it was because he had a creeping suspicion of what had happened to her already and was trying to narrow it down. She looked at him somewhat in a different light now... All those years ago, what was it now? ten, twelve maybe? Adrianus was probably grown a lot by now, no longer the ambitious, Fool hardy young kid she had first bonded with... in fact, she wondered if her old Trainer had forgotten about her over all this time...

"That's how I met Erce..." Mareek said, almost defiantly. "Now...a deals a deal."

((Big post inbound. Features some of Claudes backstory, but mainly Claude and Douxs first meeting in detail))

Claude no longer bore a grin on his face. Mareek had shared some very personal information, and Claude could see the effort that took. “Correct. Now I will uphold my end of the bargain. Although, I have to say though, my tale is much more... trivial. So, you must have noticed my, persuasions, no? Well, at the time, I was twelve, hell, I don’t have much more experience now, but I met Doux during this rather tumultuous time. I had just had to... deal with a situation with my friend regarding my preferences, and I had fled to just outside Lumiose. Every so often, a few flocks of unobserved Whimsicott and Cottonee migrated to areas just outside Lumiose to hatch their eggs. I had managed to find my way to one such place.”

“So, after fleeing from my problem, I found a small group of Whimsicott and Cottonee. The elders were trying to coax the babies into using their innate ability to manipulate the wind to fly naturally. Did you know that the Whimsicott Line was considered Grass/Flying before being reclassified as fairies? Well, it seemed that, whenever a cottonee would try to fly, it would be frightened by the sparkles that came from using their abilities as fairies. It seemed that their was nothing in their natural “guidebook” about emitting sparkles.” Claude continued, losing himself in the memory.

“And so, there they were, they didn't know who or why they were who they were, scared. It was... a familiar situation. And then, I saw the single most wondrous thing I've ever seen. A small cottonee, being ignored by the older pokemon, woke up and, without any hesitation for a reason unbeknownst to me, let loose a flurry of pale pink lights, soaring up. Towards me. He landed a few steps ahead of me, and I stepped over to pick him up. He was so quiet and trusting, completely secure as he nuzzled my arm, already returning to sleep. I still don’t know why he did this, but In hindsight, I see how open and accepting he was to that around him and most importantly, himself. I fell in love with him and who he was, and I was also selfish, though it worked out in the best way. I too the cottonee home and convinced my parents to let me care for him. After doing this and seeing how Doux acted, that’s what set me to accepting myself. A couple of years later, I opened up and voila. Doux saved me from trapping myself. That is how we met.” Claude finished, smiling to himself.

“This probably isn’t my business, but the way I see it, you’re confused about how you should feel about your scyther here. You resent her because of your brother, but you love her because she’s your partner. If I may offer some advice. Be happy with what you can, and be grateful she’s here with you. I know I am...” Claude hugged Doux a little tighter as he said this, happy for his presence.

((Soldier, that little comment at the end has royally pissed him off...))

Mareek stood there and listened to Claude's story with just as much respect as the other trainer had to his. But now, he was angry... That little comment about him being confused about how he felt about Erce and his brother... Who was this little shit to go speculating about that? Resent Erce? for years and years, the Scyther had been the only friend he had fucking had! And she probably would be the best one he ever did. "Well fuck it, I try and this type of shit happens as my reward..." He scoffed mentally "maybe this is why I have the wall..." He didn't have to look down at Cubone for courage to push on anymore. He had the fires of anger to drive him forward instead.

"You're absolutely right," He snarled, powerful rage evident in his voice as he crossed his arms over his chest. "It isn't any of your business at all. And don't you think for a second that I've EVER resented Erce for my God aweful, Sack of Shit Brother has ever done. She's just as much a victim to some of his crimes as I am, and to blame her for something that the vast majority of which was completely and utterly out of her control would be among the most unfair things I've heard of yet. Yes, I came to realize that she was probably stolen, or worse, from someone in the past, but you know what? I NEVER blamed her for it, because it wasn't her damn fault and she didn't deserve any blame from it. All I did was come to realize it, and then accept it afterwards."

He began to take a few aggressive steps forward, only for erce to hold out an arm in front of him, holding the boy back. She could tell full well that he'd get into a bad scuffle with the Cottonee Trainer if she didn't restrain him "You see this right here?" Mareek hissed, backing away now and nodding at the mantis "This is how good of a friend Erce has always been to me, so much that She's willing to hold me back and restrain me from doing something stupid, even in those times when I'm not entirely sane enough to do so myself like I should. So don't fucking sit there, and speculate about how conflicted I might, or might not, feel about her as my Partner, got me? You don't know me, buddy, or anything that I've gone through in my life..." He stood there, behind Erce's still outstretched arm, waiting for Claude's response. There was no way he was gonna just walk away and end the conversation now, not as royally pissed off as he was... so, at least that was good, right?

Claude cursed himself, afraid that his comment might spark this kind of reaction. " Shit, you're a better man than I, god knows I would have been that way. You're right, I shouldn't have speculated without knowing who really you are or what you've been through, but damn if I didn't at least try to empathise with you a little. That's what brought about that comment. But if you still want to kick my ass, fine. Just do it somewhere you won't get in trouble for it. Like hell am I gonna get someone expelled by pissing them off." Claude fifnished, honest and hoping Mareek wasn't still too hurt about his comment.

"No..." Mareek said, forcing himself to calm down. The guy obviously meant well... he had just blundered a little by bringing that up. "Look, despite what it might have seemed like a minute ago, I'm not going to kick your ass just because you happened to say something that set me off a little. Partially because of Erce here not letting me do stuff like that when I get mad, but mostly because I myself don't believe in doing it." Erce finally lowered her arm upon hearing that. Mareek didn't make any further moves to suggest he'd attack.

"Look, it's fine... I know you meant well... you didn't deserve that; Sorry about almost going off. Sometimes I just can't help but just go straight from 0 to 100 in certain situations where I think something's wrong. " Cubone still looked up at him from below.

"Like with this little guy right here," he continued, nodding to the orphan he'd taken under his wing. "I found him when the three of us were out in the forest carving our sculpture. His bone had been stolen by a Bitch of a Swellow and I found him hopping up and down at the base of the tree containing her nest, crying in frustration at not being able to get back what was rightfully his... I just got...so pissed off, I mean, really? He's already all alone in the world, no one to turn to, no one to trust, no friends and no family... and then this Swellow comes along, and robs him and makes him even poorer than he already is? I just... I couldn't just stand there and watch and do nothing. Because for one, that bitch had also stolen our carving, and we needed to get it back, and two, I was even madder about his bone being stolen than I was about my carving, And three, that feathered thief was just sitting up there in her perch, mocking us both as we stared up at her. Java drove her out of the nest with discharge, Erce went up and knocked the thing out of the tree and Java caught them with a psybeam as they fell. All in all, by the time we were done, her Nest was in ruins on the ground and I got Cubone his Bone back... and Erce had been knocked out by a cheap shot right before the thing fled. But I swear to god, if I ever that Swellow ever again..." As if on cue, a few sparks crackled in the air around Java to finish the boy's statement, signifying what would happen.

"Cube!" Cubone said happily, raising his club for Claude to see and confirming that the story was indeed true.

Relieved that Mareek wasn't too pissed with him, Claude knelt down to look at the Cubone "Well, looks like you got lucky and found a nice trainer, eh?" Claude looked up at Mareek. "Well, sounds like that Swellows just one of those pokemon at the top of the pecking order. It probably took your intervention to stop the Swellows actions. God knows what I would have done. My friends aren't exactly happy with Flying types..."

"Yeah, I can see that..." Mareek said, looking at the Cottonee and Karablast. "I'm guessing you haven't caught anything out then? Cubone here just kinda started following me after the Swellow incident, so I figured I'd just take him with me after a while..."

"Yeah, I'm not particularly enraptured by the supposed allure that comes from dragons and the power they weild. I didn't pick Lance for any reason other than a vague feeling I had. If I do catch something on this trip, it'll be because I know they're for me and vice versa. i'll let fate choose these things." Claude said. As the topic changed, more of Claudes showy nature showed through his tone and body language now.

Somewhere in the forest

“Is everything clear?” the leader of the small group asked. “Then take this with you,” he said handing over a device that looked like a Pokédex.

Apparently that’s what the biggest guy with the deep voice thought as well. “A Pokédex? What are we supposed to do with that?”

“It’s not a Pokédex,” his partner, the female, interfered. “It’s remodeled to a walkie-talkie isn’t it?

“Old-fashioned but effective. It suits our disguises perfectly as it’s a basic model of a Pokédex that tourists can lend. We remodeled it with speakers and a tracker. It’s a hell of a lot better than using that Skarmory all the time. And this way we won’t get caught on a rangers radio either because it uses an entire different system with radio frequencies. Even if one of the rangers picks up the frequency we use, he can’t hear anything but an annoying interference. Now move out and don’t forget our plan. We strike tomorrow!”

The group of four split of in pairs and removed their hoods for the very first time. They seemed like normal tourists hiking through the woods. The Skarmory hopped behind the leader and the guy with the frail build.

Group 1 (Bforger, Murdoc, Zephyr, EXLink)

After they visited the Salamence hide-out, the group went back to the cottages. They were the last to arrive and immediately left with Alastair and Roman. They reached the area with the Druddigon nests pretty quick and saw them hang around in a sandy area along with some others species including Flygon and Garchomp. Unlike before with the other group, some fire types were running around as well, explaining where the heat came from.

Alastair told everyone to move along the tree line until the dragons were used to their presence and the students were free to approach them. “Don’t startle the big ones, especially the Garchomps!” Alastair said while keeping an eye out. The students learned everything about safe approach in class anyway and his job here was to keep an eye out and calm down dragons if that was necessary.

Slade soon found himself surrounded by various Gible. They played the same game they did with Evan. They dug holes around the student and hid underground until they knew he was standing with his back towards them. Then they popped out with a loud “Gible!” before disappearing again.

Shiro on the other hand found himself in the midst of some Druddigon. They came out of the forest and passed right by him. Three little ones took a moment to sniff the closest students, including the shy student and his Ralts.

((Zephyr and Murdoc; I’ll let you start your interactions. Lana is free to talk to if you want.))

Group 2 (Commander and DarkLight)

When the students reached camp back they found themselves waiting for Phoebe’s and Devin’s groups to return. The last group was already there, but unfortunately they didn’t have time to talk to them. Alastair informed them that their group was next to go to the swamp. The students had barely enough time to prepare for said trip when Phoebe and later Devin showed up with their students.

After a longer walk then before they reached the lake and swamp area. Roman’s only warning was to not make a Dragonite angry and watch out for Dragalge’s poison. He and Phoebe kept silent about the very friendly Goodra in the area because they found it amusing when they managed to hug a student.

Henry, who didn’t expect anything, would soon find out he was next on the target list. He wasn’t very sociable and without realizing it he managed to isolate himself while exploring the swamp area. Just like Robert earlier he noticed he was being snuck upon when leaves started to rustle. But before he could turn around he received the full power of the might Goodra-hug. It wasn’t easy to break through and Henry had bad luck. Multiple Goodra’s and pre-evolutions left their habitat and found the student being hugged by one of their own. Henry had no choice but to watch them get closer and be in the center of a very gooey group hug.

((DarkLight I’m going to let you start your interaction.))

Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos)

Sofia kept her distance from Ryan the entire way back. She didn’t realize she ran over Sissy and Robert earlier and walked around with her eyes fixated on the ground. They had to wait about five minutes until Devin’s group arrived at the cottages, where the other groups were already waiting, and left with Rebecca and Brendan.

“Everyone, gather around,” Rebecca instructed when they finally arrived. “You’re free to explore this area and interact with the wild Pokémon. If you want to do the creativity challenge you can get a camera from Brendan. You don’t have to make a picture so feel free to make something if you want. Up ahead are five caves which are all connected to each other. They have a dead end so it’s impossible to get lost and they are filled with Noibat and Noivern.” She paused for a minute. “In the trees around us are a lot of Altaria nests. You can usually lure them down with snacks or by being friendly to it. That’s all I had to say so go ahead and explore.”

The students didn’t know they were being watched by a certain Swellow in the trees. She came back as soon as she saw the previous group of humans leave, only to find her nest completely destroyed. But that didn’t matter. She could rebuild it later. For now she would watch very closely who she could fool into giving her nice shiny things without having to deal with retaliation.

((All of you can start your own interaction. Maybe I’ll change Swellow’s target xD))

Group 4 (K_H, Surge, Jory, Azery, Lucky Elf)

The group was the first to reach the accommodations back. They had to wait for about 10 to 15 minutes before the last group arrived and left with Devin. They walked for a while until they reached the Tyrantrum territory.

“Wait until I get back,” Devin instructed. “You have to show these Pokémon some respect before they accept you in their territory.”

He walked over to the Tyrantrum, ready to bow, when he heard some noise behind him. The little Tyrunt’s had so much fun playing with the previous group they didn’t wait for any signs and just went ahead. They started dragging students by their shirts or gave them small bumps with their heads in order to get them moving and to play with them.

The Tyrantrum in charge noticed it and just snorted to give her approval.

((All of you are grabbed by at least one of them))

"WHAT THE..." Before Henry could finish, he was surrounded by an army of gooey dragons. He had little choice but to endure the cornucopia of love that embraced him. This right here is exactly why I'm not getting a dragon. Hmm...I wonder if I can use these guys for some fun.

"I know you're having fun and all, but there's something I'd like you guys to do for me. Don't worry, you'll have a lot of fun. You see, there's this red haired girl who's a bit in a bad mood right and could really use a hug from you nice lot. There's also another girl who's supposed to meet me here shortly that loves hugs more than I do."

When the small little Tyrunts charged at the group, Claude was naturally quite reluctant. When one of the tyrunts began tugging on Claude, he very gingerly went along with the small pokemon, it led him around, trying to play with Claude but the boy was too unresponsive, too scared to do much of anything. Soon enough, it left him to go play with one of the others, making Claude sigh with relief. Lancelot was amidst the crowd, trying to fight the dragons, bu to being mistaken for a play mate. Meanwhile, Doux was maintaaining a distance from Claude, wanting him to deal with the situation on his own.

After being abandoned by the Tyrunt for another student, Claude went to watch the fray from a distance, leaning on a tree when he heard a menacing growl. Claude turned and saw a seperate Tyrunt glaring at Claude. Claude gave a small "meep", hopping backwards several feet, when the Tyrunt stopped growling and glaring, simply staring at Claude with no visible animosity. It wasn't until Claude looked around the area that there was a circle drawn in the ground by what looked to be a claw in a 5 meter diameter around the Tyrunt, with her at it's center.

Claude was still very nervous, but he thought to himself, I need to at least Try to interact with these little horrors.

And so, Claude took a few steps forward. When he reached the edge of the circle, the tyrunt became visibly more tense, glaring but not quite growling. When Claude put a foot into the circle as a test, the Tyrunt almost leaped, growling loudly now.Claude once more stepped back, making the Tyrunt cease growling. Despite himself, Claude almost giggled. He put his foot in once more, then out, repeating this a few times, causing intermittent growling by the Tyrunt, who thought nothing of it, so long as he didn't enter. Finally, Claude decided to finish playing, something he never expected to do, and turned to walk away.

The tyrunt though, she was curious. why did the boy come, and repeatedly tease a challenge, only to leave?

As Claude walked away, he could hear light footfalls. The tyrunt had chosen to follow him, confused about what he was doing. Claude dismissed it, hoping to his whole heart that it would lose interest, and he wandered away. The tyrunt maintained the distance though, carefully following Claude at a distance. They were still a little further away from the main group, but as Claude got nearer to them, the tyrunt got more skittish, nervous about interacting. Claude frowned, not sure why she seemed so... anti-Social? What was it recently... Ever since coming to Ymora, he'd met two type of people, those who stuck in the mind whether you want them to or not, and those who tried to fade into a jumble of hazy memories, not wanting to interact. Claude sighed, Oddly, his fear of the enigmatic tyrunt had faded, he knew she wasn't really dangerous., so he waited for it to approach.

Eventually, Claude heard the light footfalls next to him, and heard the tyrunt snorting, sniffing Claude, gauging the factors that only a pokemon knew of. Claude opened his eyes and asked "What are you doing you little horror?" Not expecting an answer, he sighed. However, the tyrunt was caught off Guard.

She didn't like this.

She immediately leapt onto Claude sending them both down to the ground, though seeing as he was sitting down, it didn't cause any damage. Doing so, a few of Claudes spare pokeballs rolled away from Claude. He flung the angry little tyrunt away, trying to get her of as she tried to bite him, when she landed on one of these pokeballs. It opened, and with a flash of light, the tyrunt was brought into it. The ball whirled where it lay, the tyrunts struggles evident as it shook, until eventually... it broke out. Claude sighed his relief, glad that he didn't have to deal with the possible outcome if the tyrunt had been caught...

Unfortunately, the tyrunt, who had never seen the pokeball, immediately investigated the contraption, pressing the button once more in curiosity. Again, a light, the ball shook, but this time, there was a ping to confirm the capture of the tyrunt...

Claude was mortified, he stood in silence until eventually it dawned on him that he should talk to Devin. He immediately picked up the ball and ran around like a headless chicken, looking for the teacher in panic.

After hearing the little speech about the area, Robert grabbed a camera and headed out into the surroundings. About 20 feet away from the starting area, Robert had released all of his pokemon to see if they would be able to find a view that he would otherwise miss. Of course, being that this was the Goomy's first time seeing Voltage, she decided to give it the first 'surprise' hug, much to the Elekid's dismay. In response, Voltage let of a Shock Wave in retaliation to the pride-hurting goo hug, not being very effective on the Dragon-type but getting the point across.

After the little 'introduction,' they started walking around for about 20 minutes, by which point they were close by the caves that had been talked about by Rebecca, and the Goomy was getting bored and decided to look for some attention. While Kiai was too focused on the search, as well as already remembering what had happened shortly before, she went straight to Robert's pant leg and did it's best to get some attention, enticing him to look down to her. "Oh, did you find something Goomy?" After a bit if time waiting for a response, it was pretty clear that it just wanted some attention, promoting a sigh from the other two. "Oh well, I guess that's fine. Just try and stay focused, okay?" To that, the Goomy's started into a frown and shook it's head yes. Having that done with, the prying Goomy off the pant leg, he turned his focus to what was left. Trying to get as much of the fresh goo as he could out before he had a second pair of obvious goo-stained pants, he unintentionally started wiping it on the rocky walls that were along the caverns. Still looking around to find something good for the picture, Kiai spotted what had been left in the attempt of cleaning himself, which had actually been a decently-coated imprint of the hand.

Having been alerted by the Riolu cries, he turned around to see Kiai pointing towards the wall. "Uh, what are you trying to show me?... Oh, yeah the goo didn't come off so easily? So what?" Having heard his master's obliviousness to what it was referring to, Kiai simply rubbed his hands on the Goomy's sides and went to leaving trails of goo where it was moving and made a little goo stick-figure. Suddenly, it finally struck him what was going on. "Wait, that looks... familiar? Oh yeah, from that field-trip we went to in Granite Cave." Through that little memory of the trip there, he started to remember that there were certain areas, moreso hidden away, that had different, less important things compared to the 'main one' with the legendary Weather Pokemon. With that, it finally struck him.

"Wait... Cave paintings? Is that it?" With a happy nod from the Riolu, he knew he got it right. He wasn't exactly sure that this would work as well, but decided to trust the idea. "Okay then. Guess your going to get a lot of attention with this Goomy. Now, what to use..." After that statement, Robert took out his Pokedex to try and find something fitting. All the while, the Goomy was extremely happy that not only was she going to get a lot of attention and rubs through this, but that her 'goo hug' was actually helping out in this kind of situation.

Slade didn't really much care for how the Gible were playing with him. He wasn't too keen on getting a dragon at the moment so he didn't pay much attention to the popping pokemon from behind him. He walked a bit with Flare by his side watching as how the little ground type played with each other. As he was walking out of the corner of his eye he saw three Gible surrounding something. Curious they went over to see what was so special. But upon further investigation the Gible didn't find something those three Gible were ganging up on another one. Slade couldn't stand watching them corner the poor pokemon shaking with fear, mocking him all the same. "Ey, you three think it's fun ganging up on people." Slade said with his Fedora blocking his eyes while his tone was not amused. The three Gible then when under ground knowing that they'd not want to continue what they were doing before. "Teh, cowards." he said in disgust.

He then went over to the cowering pokemon and handed him an Oran berry and then sat down next to it. The Gible wary at first took a small nibble then ate the rest of the berry on one bite. "So, why were they ganging up in you?" Slade asked the now clam sand shark. "Are you considered the 'runt'?" He asked as Flare curled up besides him. "Gible..." the pokemon said depressed, it was obvious that Slade's assumptions were correct."Have you trained at all to get sronger?" He gave an affirming "Gible." to say that he has. "Then why don't you stand up for yourself fight back?" The Gible looked down and let out another depressed sigh, seems it didn't help. Slade could relate to him, he was always the outcast. Not to mention bullied just because he liked a certain pokemon type. "How about this, I could help you prove that you're not weak and help you regain your standing." Slade offered to the Gible. The Gible looked at him with a gleaming stare, "No one has ever offered to help me." The pokemon thought to himself, "Gible?" The shark said as to say 'really?'. "Yea, just show me where they are and I'll help you, just follow what I say and you'll do fine!" He said rubbing the pokemon's head. "Is he serious, could I really beat him?" The Gible wondered to himself, "It's time I stood up for myself, no more being walked on by them!" The pokemon now had a fiery look in his eyes and let out a mighty howl, "GGGIIIIBBBLLLEEE!" he screamed. "That's the spirit, now lets go!" The Gible nodded and when underground, with it's fin sticking out. He came out of the ground a couple feet a way and gave a beckoning motion with his hands. Slade then followed him with Flare by his side.

Slade took the time to check what moves the Gible had. 'Hmmm, Dragon Rage, Tackle, Dig, Bite, and Sand Attack' Slade muttered to himself 'Oh, that's a nice ability.' He came upon a small crater in the ground and the three Gible were chating. "Hey, which one of you is the strongest?" The three Gible looked back at the same red-headed boy from before only this time he wanted to challenge the strongest. the one from the left came forward with a scar on the red part of his belly. Then the Gible appeared from ground with a angry look. The scared Gible laughed at the the challenge from what they called 'runt'. "This will be a one on one battle, any objection? Then we start."

The Scared Gible's belly started to glow blue and then let out a purple energy ball straight at the other Gible. (Dragon Rage) "Gible, quickly go under ground!" Slade said sticking his arm out. The Gible quickly went underground and avoided the attack. "Now use bite!" The Gible appeared behind the scared one and bite down on his fin on the top of his head. The Gible let a cry of pain then went under ground, removing the Slade controlled Gible from his head. He then popped out right under the other Gible and launched him up. Little did the scared Gible know that the Gilbe Slade was helping had Rough Skin as his ability and started to feel the affects of the ability. "Now use dragon rage while it's stunned!" The Gible regained his composure in the air and started to glow blue from his under belly. He then let out a purple energy ball right into the Scared Gible. Then a large dust appeared as a result of the attack. The in air Gible then dove into the ground as to cushion the landing. As the dust settled the Scared Gible was still standing. He starting waving his arms around extremely fast and a huge sand storm appeared. Then he launched a dragon rage right at the other Gible. He was set fly back after being directly hit by the attack. Slade's Gible slowly got up as he was close to his limits. "Quickly under ground!" Slade yelled at the injured Gible. He went under as the sand storm above brewed about. Slade's controlled Gible could figure out where the one was. "Don't give up! Use Dig while charging a Dragon Rage!" The Gible's belly turned blue as it appeared from under ground from the Scared Gible's last know position, but due to sand vail the other Gible wasn't there he was to the right of him. "Now turn towards him and fire your Dragon rage!" The Gible shot the purple energy blast right where the scared Gible was and got a direct hit. As the Sand storm died down the scared Gible was fainted the the other two Gible rushed towards him. The other Gible let out a mighty roar as he defeated his opponent.

"Great job!" Slade said give a thumbs up to the Gible he helped. "You did great, but I think it's time for my group to leave. It's been fun so I hope I'll see you again." He gave a big smile and an Oran to the Gible, Flare also congratulated the Gible for his victory. As he was eating his berry Slade tipped his hat off to the Gible a ran to rejoin the group. The Gible stood there as the man went to rejoin his group. "That guy, he helpped me without wanting anything in return." The Gible thought to himself, "If I want anyone to be my trainer it's that man, I need to catch up to him." As Slade and Flare rejoined the rest of his group the two of them heard a loud, "GGGIIIBBBLLLEEE!" They looked back the see the Gible from before rushing towards him. The Gible hugged Slade's leg with tears in his eyes. They weren't sad tears, they were tears of joy. "So, I'm guessing you want to join us?" Slade said kneeling down to the sobbing Gible. The Gible nodded as tears slowly rolled down his face. "Well, I guess you'll need a nick name. how about Xemnas?" Xemnas let out a "Gible." as to say "yes" .Slade then proceeded to get a pokeball from his pack and pressed the button on the Gible's Forehead. As the Gible turned red and into the ball it clicked shut. "Well, then welcome to the team, Xemnas." He said as he got back up and rejoined the group.

In all the way to the next destination, Sissy had one thing in her mind. Name. What name? Something that fits him. But what? Time had passed, with that thought going over and over in her mind, only to find herself hearing the informations about the new area they reached. Caves and trees huh? I will have to go with the trees this time. "Professor, I might need that camera too." She said and waited for Robert to take his first. Once they fled away, she took her camera and started walking towards the near trees.

Fresh air was finally coming from everywhere. After that swamp area, this one is very relaxing and clean. I can get used to it very quickly. She kept walking when a new thought came by. I got it. It fits him pretty well. She sat down at a nearby tree and took two pokeballs in her hand. She pressed the button on both pokeballs. From the first one a Flaaffy came out with a yawn in her mouth, while from the other a Slowpoke popped out. The Flaaffy stopped yawning and started observing the new team member. "Miffy, let me introduce you to our new member. This here is Sherlock." The Flaaffy let out a small cry of greeting and continued her yawning. The Slowpoke upon hearing his new name let out a tiny water gun, showing his happiness.

On top of Sissy's head, a Misdreavus was sleeping. All that walking made her drowsy, which had as a result for her to sleep during most of the travelling to the new area. But that sleep had came to an end, when some branches where broken off from the above tree, where her trainer was sitting. The ghost pokemon opened her eyes and started staring the leaves and branches from above for any movement. After a minute of nothing being happened, she came down from Sissy's head and start playing around with her new friend.

Out of sudden, a pokemon could be heard from above Sissy. She raised her head up only to see a small Swablu falling down straight into Sissy's arms. No, that's not good. What's going on here. "Sherlock use Confusion to reduce the falling of that pokemon." The Slowpoke's eyes started glowing making the falling Swablu go straight into Sissy's arms. "Are you okey little bird?" She asked looking at the tiny bird. But something was strange with that bird pokemon. Instead of being a common blue Swablu that one was gold.

Danielle was making her way towards Henry while trying to avoid the hazards that Phoebe and Roman had warned about. Mud was also a thing she was avoiding since she doesn't have a water Pokemon yet. She was a bit disappointed that she couldn't get a chance to find her Mawile yet, but there was no use in being sad about it. All good things come at their own time. As she made her way through the swamp, she stopped for a few seconds by the lake to observe its pristine, blue color before moving on towards her destination. "I wonder what Henry has in store for us this time..." Her Murkrow only tilted her head as a response before looking towards Henry's direction. "You're right, Avis. I guess we will see when we get there~"

After finally settling down on a 'model,' which was chosen mostly by Kiai for being the one who came up with it in the first place, he had a happy grin and they nodded to eachother. While it wasn't the most inspiring thing, it fit the idea of the cave painting's and was simple enough to copy that he wouldn't have to worry about the goo messing up through dripping with such simplistic beauty. He got up, while locking it on Claydol, and went to look at his canvas.

Looking at the rock wall infront of him, he realized that he was actually by one of the mentioned caves. "Hmm... well, it would give it a good hint of 'realism.' It is pretty simplistic on it's own. But..." His mind started to ponder whether going inside the cave would be a good idea or not. On the negative side, it's a cave that could likely be full of territorial pokemon. On the other hand even if they were any more territorial that what would be in the general Forest, being right inside or outside the cave wouldn't be any different. Eventually, he gave in to going in the cave, going about 20 feet into the cave. Of course, he had Kiai be lookout, as well as Voltage looking towards the entrance, while he pet the Goomy for the goo supply that'd be using. Careful to not make much noice, he began work on the 'goo-art,' unaware of anything else going on, even if it would be the signal from Kiai that something was coming.

(Ready for the 'event')

"Awh, they're so beautiful, pon," Raiza said to Lana, after petting a Trapinch. "They remind me of the ones that we played with back at your place. I bet they're really tough, and that they'll grow up strong, pon." For once, Lucifer didn't mind that his Trainer was fawning over something that wasn't him. The heat was marvelous and did wonders to his mood and health. It felt so good that he didn't care that Raiza had been carrying the baby dragon he'd fought earlier around.

Kage was still thinking about what Devin had said earlier. He was having a hard time coming up with how to deal with the situation; on the one hand, there was a slight chance that he was getting worked up over nothing. On the other hand, if Devin DID know, he was in it pretty deep for lying about it. On a third hand (presumably someone else's), the professor didn't seem all that upset. Kage threw his hands up in frustration before sitting down for a moment. Standing up once more, he approached a trainer who seemed pretty interested in the local Pokemon. "Hey, Raiza, right? I don't know you all that well, but could I ask you something?"

Somebody came up from behind. Turning around, Raiza saw the brilliant-blue-eyed boy approach her with a question. Sometimes the hue of those eyes were fascinating to her... How could somebody ever be so lucky to have been born with such pretty-colored eyes? "Hm? Oh, yeah sure, pon. Go on and shoot."

Kage scratched his head. "Alright. Say, hypothetically, you kept a secret from someone. Let's assume you had a good reason to. That someone apparently learns your secret, but they don't say it straight out. Do you talk to them about it, or wait for them to come to you?"

Toothless rasped in his Trainer's arms, making Raiza pet him till he settled down. "Er... Are you really sure that they know, pon? After all, if they didn't say so, maybe they really don't know... In that case, I'd just shrug it off and give them the benefit of the doubt, pon. But if you're really really sure that they know... well I suppose that if it were somebody I know I couldn't or wouldn't trust, I'd just have to confront them about it, y'know, make sure word doesn't get out... Otherwise I wouldn't really worry too much, pon." On a second thought, she added, "I still think I'd rather that person approach me unless they say so outright that they know."

After some seconds of realizing where it was, the Swablu started crying out in Sissy's arms. "Here take this." Sissy said and handed out a pokeblock from her pocket. The Swablu ate the pokeblock and gave out a small cry. "I'm glad you like it. Now can you tell me what's going on?" The Swablu pointed the branches and leaves above them with her wing, then started to take off but it couldn't fly. Is it a flying type pokemon, right? Why can't it fly? "Are yoou wings broken from the falling?" She said and started examing the wings. But nothing was strange with them. "Don't tell me that you just hatched from your egg. Plus you fell down from your nest?" The Swablu nodded and looked above its head, hoping that her mother was searching for it.

Above the tree, four eyes were staring down at Sissy and her pokemon. The feeling of being watched again made Miss firing psywave beams at that direction. Two Swablu appeared from above, staring down and laughing. But those two were blue instead of gold. The Swablu in Sissy's arms, tried to hide itself from the other Swablu, but with no luck. The two from above kept laughing. "Hey, what are you laughing at?" Sissy said, standing on her feet. The wild Swablu opened their mouthes and let out a high, piercing growl that distorted the area. "Miss use confuse ray on these two. Miffy use thunder wave." The two pokemon followed their trainer's orders and hit both Swablu with a thunder wave of confusing rays. The bird pokemon fell down on the ground almost fainted. On a blink of eye, an Altaria was standing above the attacked pokemon. The Altaria's body glowed green for a second curing both Swablu from their status problems.

"I am terrible sorry for that." Sissy said and searched her bag for some sitrus berries. Once she found two, she handed out to the injured pokemon. "But they started it first by attacking this one." She opened her arms to reveal the gold Swablu in her arms. She then noticed that both the Altaria and that Swablu were the same color. The Altaria gave out a big cry and looked down at the Swablu. Probably that's their mother. But why those two were attacking this one? The Swablu in her arms jumped off and started walking towards the Altaria. It gave a small cry and went straight into her mother's hug. All four then flew off on the tree above them. "Well I guess we have down our job here. Let's search something for our photo shooting now." Sissy said and started walking away from the tree with her pokemon next to her.

A few steps away a cry could be heard from behind them. They turned around and saw the Altaria and the Swablu on a branch waving their wings. She then noticed that something was flying towards her. She realized it was the gold Swablu from before. The Swablu flew directly into Sissy's arms, letting out a cry of happiness. "So, you want to come with me?" She said and petted the Swablu. "And what about your family?" The Swablu nodded and waved back at her family. The Altaria nodded with a yes back at Sissy and stood there on the branch with her remaining children. That's it. What can be more perfect than this? Sissy took the camera from her bag and took a photo of the Altaria and Swablu on the branch. "This will make both of you remembering your family and also all of us have something to give to the professor back." She said and started walking away with a new member in her team.

Jacob laughed as the playful Pokemon grabbed him gently by his hand. The Trainer was immediately grateful that he'd worn gloves for the trip, as he could feel the sharpness of the small Dragon's teeth even through his handwear. Teo immediately picked up on the game and got underneath a Tyrunt, lifting it up on his back and carrying it around. The wild Tyrunt was at first startled and flailed around comically, but eventually it cried out happily and lay flat on the Trapinch's back. As he played with the Tyrunt Jacob looked down at his belt and smiled. He hit the release button on Chalchi and Spitfyre's balls, causing them to be released among the Tyrunt in a flash of light. The friendly Lapras cried out happily as the saw all the playful Tyrunt and began playing with one by putting her neck down and allowing him to jump over it. Another began climbing on her back and slid down her fin, landing in a heap on the ground. It promptly got back up and began climbing again. However, Spitfyre simply stood with his arms crossed and glared at Jacob. The young Trainer frowned. Well, at least he's staying out of his ball this time.

==========================================================================================================================

The blue ball of fire flew over Jacob and Teo and hit a boulder behind them, smashing it in a rather spectacular explosion of pebbles and dust. The Trainer jumped to his feet and grinned at the Charmander, preparing for battle. “You’re pretty tough. But you’ll see that we’ve got what it takes, right Teo?” The Trapinch nodded, growling at the Charmander.

“Alright, Teo! Lead off by Digging underground!” Jacob shouted. The Trapinch jumped in the air and pointed its mouth downward, burrowing into the earth as it hit the ground. The Charmander looked from side to side warily, taking a combat stance. It growled lowly, inviting an attack.

“Trap it with a Sand Tomb!” the Trainer ordered. A cyclone of sand began to circle around the Charmander, slowly closing in on it. The flame lizard took a step back, startled by the sudden attack from an invisible enemy. It began to cover its face, attempting to protect itself from the stinging flurry of sand. “Quick, while he’s off guard! Hit him from below!”

The Trapinch burrowed rapidly upward, slamming into the Charmander from below in a flurry of limbs and gravel. It was sent flying rapidly backward as it spun through the air, the force of the blow evident from the sheer distance the Charmander traveled. The flame lizard rolled backward, ending up in a heap on the ground. It struggled to its feet, roaring a challenge at Teo. Its claws suddenly took on a shiny metallic tone and it charged at the Trapinch.

“Now, Teo, this is the moment! Use Strength!” The Trapinch set its legs and opened its jaws, prepared to receive the attack. The Charmander leapt through the air toward Teo, swinging its claws furiously. As the two collided there a large cloud of dust was thrown up and Jacob had to shield his eyes. As he looked up coughing, he saw Teo standing over the Charmander. The Trapinch was breathing heavily and the Charmander lay exhausted on the ground, unable to continue battling. Jacob grinned. “You’re gonna fit in perfectly,” he said quietly, pressing a Poke Ball to the Fire-type’s head.

=========================================================================================================================

Jacob sighed, shaking his head at the Charmander. I just don’t understand why he’s so obstinate. I’ve tried PokeBlocks, I’ve tried introducing him to Teo and Chalchi… Nothing seems to work, though.
