Sutoratosu Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 Galen Galen opened the door and strode into the room, still wearing his fake cop uniform and aviators from last night as he took a seat at the desk where Teach sat, sitting opposite of the man. "Then let's get right to it, Teach. Is my team ready?" Mareek "Why is he stalling like this?" Mareek asked. He couldn't believe that Slade still hadn't admitted to Danielle yet, was it that hard for him to just ask to talk alone? He was honestly contemplating yelling out 'Stop the damn stalling already!', but before he could even open his mouth, a commotion in the distance caused by a snorlax drew his attention away... but it was drawn right back when Slade tried using it as an excuse to not continue his conversation with Danielle. "Eh, Slade," he called, standing up from the table. "Don't worry about the snorlax, you just stay here and tell Danielle what you need to tell her, alright? You know what I mean..." With that he headed off towards the commotion, leaving Nemo and Erce behind to finish eating. He noticed another student as they sent out a Goomy and piled spaghetti on a plate atop it's head before sending it off towards the hungry glutton. "That's pretty clever," he said, walking up to Robert. "But I hope you have some way to put it back to sleep; because that paltry amount of spaghetti isn't going to placate it's hunger, not even a little." DarkLight Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 'What is going on?' Danielle thought, when Slade brushed off the subject and asked if she found herself her new partner yet. Then Mareek came along and told him not to worry about the Snorlax and focus on telling her something. The confused girl looked looked to Avis, who decided to come up and observe the commotion, for some advice. Half of her wanted to go and help Robert and Mareek while the other half is telling her that was important for her to stay here. The bird felt Danielle's stare so she turned around to blink at her master and Slade. Her eyes lingered on Slade for a moment, as if she was trying to tell him to "man up" before she flew off to join Mareek. "I guess that means we stay here." Danielle finally responded to Slade's comment. Avis' prolonged stare at Slade only confirmed her suspicions that something was wrong. She finished off the last of her dish of food before turning her attention to the boy sitting in front of her. "Stop jumping around the subject. It's obvious something is wrong now, so what's up? You know you could tell me anything." Down below the table, Corona looked up expectantly at the two humans, only stopping once in a while to nibble on her food. Could this be it? Aurorix Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 Slade let out a sigh, "Well, there's this girl I like and I want to tell her my feelings," Slade paused for a moment, "and since... ya know... you're a girl I thought I'd ask you how'd you like it to be said to you?" Just as his trainer had been before he went to go handle something, the Cubone had been keeping ears open for Slade and Danielle's discussion. He had the hunch that if Mareek were here at this moment, he'd go over and yell at slade to stop being a pansy about it and tell the girl up front... but he wasn't. so that meant Nemo should do it for him, right? "Cube!" he called, getting up and suddenly rushing across the tabletop to where Slade and Danielle sat, hitting the red haired boy lightly with his club to draw his attention. "Well, it's the most that 'I' am able to do. The rest of them are a bit more 'direct,' but from how your saying that, I assume you don't have something to put it asleep either?" While he spoke, he saw Avis flying up to them. "So, do either of you know something that can put it to sleep? Or by chance have a way to find one? Otherwise we 'might' have to try brute force, which doesn't seem like that good of idea outside of a last resort." ------ Back at the table, Slade and Danielle's conversation caught Kiai's attention. He was a bit confused as to what they were doing, even moreso by what the Pokemon by them were saying about it, but kept his eye on it. Once Voltage and Jet were done, Kiai signaled them to just wait by the table until Robert got back, making sure that the other's didn't try and interrupt what was already happening over at the table. "Not a single member of my team is capable of inflicting Sleep... though I should really think about getting some status moves...Anyway, if we can't put it to sleep, then at the very least we'll have to try to neutralize it with something like paralysis. If we can stop it from moving around, then we can go from there to resolve the issue..." He took out the only occupied Capsule still left on his belt, depressing the trigger and sending out Java. The first thing the porygon did was look over at the Snorlax and roll his eyes exasperatedly, as if to say "Really? we gotta deal with this now?" Robert ran straight to the table he was sitting at and signaled Voltage that it was time to go. During which, Robert returned Jet and Kiai, though Kiai was hopeful that he'd be able to stay out and watch the conversation, and finally ran back to Mareek. "Well, I have Voltage here. If your mainly focused on just paralyzing it, his Shock Wave should be of SOME help." Hearing Robert's 'phrasing,' Voltage sighed at how it was meant to be more defensive, being more than ready to launch out 'Shining Stars' and hit the Snorlax as hard as he could. "Go get Nemo, he's over by the dinner table over there," he jabbed his thumb in the direction of the table that Slade and Danielle sat at. The Porygon hovered off as ordered a second later. Nemo's attention was drawn away from Slade when suddenly something bumped into him from behind. he turned around to find none other that the weird angular thingy that was one of his team mates. Nemo shook his club at the Porygon in a gesture meant to convey 'Not right now, wait a minute' But all Java did was nodd his head over in Mareek's direction. The cubone turned to see the trainer looking right at him along with a stranger... guess he had sent this thing to come get him for some reason. The orphan cast a single glance back at Slade and Danielle, nodding at the red haired boy in an encouraging manner, then ran off the table after Java, who had already begun heading back. Mareek looked back at Robert once Java had returned with the ward, nodding at the other student's Elekid. "Alright, here's the plan; I've got a tactic worked with these two," he pointed at the Porygon and Cubone. "I call it Ancient Lightning. basically Java here hits Nemo with a Discharge attack, and using his Lightning Rod ability, Nemo channels the electricity as he uses an Ancient Power and combines the energy into a single attack. Now, I'm going to order the two of them to use it, and listen very carfeully; right before it hits that Snorlax, you NEED to order your Elekid to use Shock Wave, and it has to be right on time. too soon, and it might not work, to late and the plan will also fail. The Elekid nodded in response starting up a charge that he would release into a Shock Wave with the time explained. While Voltage wasn't really one that relied on timing, he saw no problem launching the attack through such specifics. The cubone didn't even have to be cued, he raised his club high above his head like Thor, and his body began to glow brightly with silvery light. a few moments later, the sphere of power he had created blazed a bright golden in the air, ready to be launched. "Kodai Kaminari" the same firing cue from when they had practiced it earlier. Nemo unleashed the sphere, sending it flying straight for the Snorlax. Then just as planned, Voltage unleashed his Shock Wave, hitting the sphere dead just as it was about to make contact with the giant. The thing burst apart instantly, giving off a harsh, golden light that engulfed the area around the snorlax, as Mareek had hoped... the sound of loud, crackling electricity filled the air, audible even from where he and Robert stood. He turned to the boy as the light pulsated a few times, before starting to die down... "I have no idea if this worked, but now's the moment of truth..." Commander Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 "Oh boy here we go again." Henry watched the whole Snorlax scene fold out. "I'm not getting myself trapped into this one." Henry quickly finished his dinner leaving his leftovers to the bottomless pit known as Zuko. Once he inhaled the remains, the group headed closer to the campsite and noticed a little surprise. That kid again. He thought looking at Slade. I always had the impression the kid didn't give a damn about anything other than himself. I had high hopes after hearing about his fight in the forest, but he's only disappointed since then. He saw the reaction on Slade's face and it was quite obvious what was going on. Eh, I already hear enough lovey dovey stuff from the neighbors. I think I'll wait for a better time. Henry turned and began to wonder around. He didn't really have any destination in mind. First theTyrunt’s roar made him doubt to go after the food. He wanted to eat, not to fight. The normal type turned around to see a plate with spaghetti. How did it walk so fast? Not that it mattered much since it smelled delicious. Snorlax went after it and heard a crackling sound. The electrical sphere was about to hit him when his fist made the same crackling sound. A quick punch hit the sphere dead on and caused a little explosion. The teachers, who already were aware Snorlax was running around, decided it had gone far enough. Devin stood up but was cut off by Tyron who sprinted towards the cloud of smoke. When it cleared Snorlax came waggling out of it like nothing happened and went straight for the food truck. “Stop and battle me, Snorlax!” Tyron yelled. “If you win, you get all the food you want!” Snorlax, a rather intelligent one amongst his species, stopped waggling and turned around. He seemed to measure Tyron and Mienshao up. He then shook his head and pointed to Mienshao and then to the group of students. Apparently he wanted to see how well trained Tyron’s Pokémon were even if they had to battle alongside a rookie trainer. Tyron grinned. “Alright, I accept. He threw a Pokéball and released Aggron. Will this guy do?” Snorlax nodded and pointed to the students again before taking a battle stance. “Which one of you wants to fight alongside Aggron?” Tyron yelled enthusiastically. Angry at this, he looked at the Aggron, towering above them, facing off gains the Snorlax. A small stone of determination formed in Claudes mind, and he decided he had to grow as a person at the academy. Conquering his fear was the first step of that. "Sir, could I please try at it?" As a random Cubone came over to smack Slade on the head, however, Danielle couldn't help but feel heartbroken. 'I was right... He really doesn't know how I feel.. I guess I deserve it though, for breaking Jacob's heart.' Corona also took note of the conversation and had crawled into her lap to offer some comfort. Danielle only gave a sad smile to the small bug before regaining her composure. Once the Cubone was summoned away by Java ('Oh, so the Cubone is Mareek's newcomer'), Danielle thought for a moment on how to phrase her next statements. Hey, just because she can't have him, it doesn't mean he shouldn't be happy. "I never thought about it but... I guess I prefer a simple, honest confession. That's what counts the most for me." she shrugged, forcing a smile all the while. "It really depends on the lucky girl though, so I wouldn't use my advice for everyone. I have a friend back home who would love for her prince to confess to her with flowers and all, but that's not my style. So, on that note," she leaned in so that she won't have to raise her voice, "Who is it? If I know who it is, I may able to tell you some helpful things." ---------- Avis had continued to circle above to observe the commotion. She checked out the scene as the combined attack struck the huge Snorlax, making sure that she dodged the electricity while she at it. Although the electrifying plan seemed to have failed, it looks like Tyron decided to step in to stop its terror, so Avis won't have to go to Jacob to get Chalchi's help. While she would have loved to battle, she knew her master wouldn't be up for it at this point in time so, since the commotion died down, she decided to fly on back to help Danielle and Slade. Now Snorlax doesn’t want me to interfere as he wants to test my Pokémon before accepting me as its trainer. Aggron is here to support you. His ability is Rock Head and he knows Double-Edge, Metal Burst, Earthquake and Head Smash. His support moves are Sandstorm and Protect. He then heard Claude asking to challenge the Snorlax. "You? Do you really think you'd be able to win something like that? You can't even keep that little Tyrunt under control from what I've seen. What makes you think that Aggron will listen to your orders so easily?" Henry stopped for a moment seeing that there were teachers around and Tyron allowing it to happen. "You know what, go right on ahead. Maybe a loss like this will finally let you wake up from that colorful little world you live in. I'll even let you borrow one of my Pokemon to soften the blow." "I'll even let you borrow one of my Pokemon to soften the blow." "In what world would I ever use your pokemon? In fact, I'll use the Tyrunt you say I can't control." Claude turned to Colere, who was looking at Claude differently, expectantly. The two looked at each other wordlessly until Colere walked to stand beside the Aggron. Claude took out Lancelot from his pokeball as Doux floated down beside the Bug pokemon. "Now, I want you two to cheer us on, your new team-mate and I, Okay?" Claude walked over to stand at the battlefield, and prepared himself mentally. He looked at the Snorlax, then the Aggron towering in front of him, and the little Colere, the ant standing next to the Giants. He breathed in He breathed out. "Aggron, use Sandstorm, shroud the field!. Colere, run around the field and use Roar to keep our foe away!" Doing as they were told, Aggron swept up a mass of sand from the ground, shrouding the field, but not to the point of completely blinding everyone as Colere, who moved perfectly fine in the dust, rushed around, using her size to her advantage as she bellowed at the snorlax.. After the smoke settled, Robert was suprised at how easily it shrugged the attack of. 'Well, that plan fell flat.' Having saw Devin step up, he saw that the Snorlax wanted... One of us? It seemed Claude stepped up to the plate, and with some taunting and, immediate 'change of heart' from Henry, it was solidified that Claude would be the one to take this. Robert signaled to Nikki, seeing as it was taken care of for now, to have her come back. She did so, bringing the plate of spaghetti with her. "Well I guess that's settled. Anyone want any of this before it gets thrown into the already 'Snorlax spaghetti pile' Tyron offered it?" His statement was mainly ment to limit the 'grim atmosphere' already settling around the battlefield. 'Looks like I came back right on time~' Avis landed onto the table with a few clicks from her clawed feet as the rest of the lovebirds' Pokemon gave their respective reactions. Corona was ecstatic: The firebug shot off into the air and managed to make little fire hearts right above their heads before she dropped down next to the black bird. Avis grinned at her comrade before she swayed side to side, careful not to ruin the atmosphere with her sudden presence until it was necessary. Danielle's face immediately flushed a crimson red at the sudden revelation. Surely, this was all just a joke, right? "Slade... D-Don't play with me--" "Krow krow~" Danielle turned to her right to find a gleeful Murkrow dancing in place. Avis' eyes basically told her that Slade wasn't joking around this time. "Avis... You disappeared earlier before with Slade... Is that why...?" Her Murkrow only kept on repeating the same motion as before, refusing to divulge the rest of what she knew. Corona was clearly happy as well; she waved her little arms that kept in rhythm with Avis' dancing. Danielle could also see Flare smiling happily at them, with a very flabbergasted Xemnas right beside him. She highly doubted Flare would allow his trainer to lie, so... Danielle turned back to face Slade, looking right into his green eyes as she spoke. "I-I don't know about love, but I do like you... A lot." she replied, blushing profusely. "You're the reason why I rejected Jacob in the first place..." she leaned over so that their foreheads touched before she whispered, "But I guess I could say it, just so we are even... Her heart almost melted when she saw Jacob interact with the Togepi. “I’m not mad at you and maybe I was a little harsh, but I stand by what I said. Boys think they can do whatever they want with a girl’s feeling and get away with it. That’s exactly what I think Ryan did.” Her attention was drawn to the chaos created by a Snorlax. Over Jacob’s other shoulder she could see Danielle and Slade sitting at a table. “Your friend, Danielle, is the exact same. She probably told you already I called her out. She keeps flirting with everyone and strikes me as the type that messes around with feelings. I’ve seen her type and I don’t like it.” Lucky Elf The sand and roar combination was annoying to deal with but not a major problem. Snorlax relaxed his leg muscles before giving a hard stamp on the ground, causing an earthquake effecting the battlefield. Then, he had to take a deep breath as Kristen began to talk about how Danielle messed around with people's feelings. He sighed and shook his head. "I don't think she does, Kristen. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure she'd feel horrible if she knew she was hurting someone by doing that," he said quietly, looking at the ground briefly. However, the Togepi booped Jacob on the nose and the Trainer laughed, smiling down at the egg Pokemon. "You're just a little bundle of joy, aren't you?" he asked the Pokemon. However, it simply looked him in the eye, yawned, and then went to sleep in his arms. "Hmm..." Jacob said to himself. "The little guy's probably hungry." His stomach then growled and he chuckled and smiled, looking up at Kristen. "Hey, I think I should get some food for my Pokemon and this Togepi. Do you... uh... Colere had been sent flying, immediately heavily hurt by the attack, but her Sturdy nature allowed her to pull through. Aggron dealt with the attack better, though his weakness was a problem "Aggron, grab Colere!" The pokemon did so, scooping up the small pokemon. "Now, throw Colere, Colere use bite, then Aggron, you follow through with a Head Smash!" Colere rocketed towards Snorlax Jaw open and ready to latch on as the Aggron charged in, head down and ready to slam into the Snorlax.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

"Man, confessing stuff that important makes me hungry, so back to the food!" He said back to his usual, up-beat self again. Then the table started to rumble and Slade's spaghetti fell right on top of Flare's head. Flare then got embarrassed and shook off the food from his head getting it on everyone except for Xemnas who went underground just in time before the red sauce splattered on him. When he popped out from the ground he could help but laugh at everyone. Soon it spread to Flare and Slade who were now cracking up at each other. Tacos Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 Glacien jumped at Virtes' sudden sign of aggression. He quickly picked up another pellet and rolled off at light speed back to his bowl. Ryan chuckled a little, the scene somewhat amusing. Ryan turned his head, surveying the immediate area. His gaze stopped on Slade and Danielle. Danielle's face was redder than the sauce on the spaghetti. "Oh, young love. So adorable, those two." Ryan swung his head around again, this time stopping on Jacob and Kristen. "Is that a togepi he has? Wonder where that came from?" His gaze focused on Kristen's face. It was shriveled up, like she was complaining about Ryan again.
