"Oh, yeah, no problem." He heard that Ryan wasn't feeling so hot at the moment through his voice, so he resisted the urge to snatch off the towel Ryan was probably wearing. More embarrassment probably wasn't the best option for humor today. Or, well, he could be naked and messing with him right now. It was doubtful, though.

Reina bumped Ryan's leg from behind to get his attention. She was eager to meet the human her chosen trainer seemed to like so much, and the others seemed to be occupied by Virtes trying to pick a fight.

Jacob nodded at Slade, smiling at his friend. "Thanks for the support, man. I appreciate it." He then looked to Danielle. "Did you happen to catch anything new today, Danielle?"

Claude's words took Henry by surprise. He didn't expect the coordinator to be afraid of something like that. "I wish mine were that easy," he mumbled under his throat. He then looked Claude in the eyes. "You're afraid of Rocks or something like that, right? Is that why you caught that Tyrunt, to get over that fear? Honestly, that fear feels like a joke after seeing that battle." Henry then gave a heavy yawn. Why did this kid have to pull that prank on the bus? I...really needed...the sleep. Henry tried to keep his concentration but started drifting off. The lack of sleep he had finally caught up to him.

"Thanks Kage. Oh well hello there little one! Reina was it?" Ryan spoke to Reina as she nudged his leg. Ryan bent over to attempt to pick Reina up, hoisting her off the ground with a small grunt, the small Tyrunt being a little heavier than he had expected. Ryan gently rubbed the Tyrunt on the head as he made his way down to his room, walking past Kage, and dropping a small kiss on Kage's cheek on his way past.

"How adorable are you?" Sissy turned at the Cubone and gave it a huge smile. "Nice to meet you Mareek." She said looking at Cubone's trainer. The Misdreavus came down and greeted the Cubone with a bow, started observing it.

"Indeed was a splendid battle." She turned again, looking at Claude. "I expected for him, to freak out with that Aggron, but in the end it went smoothly."

Danielle continued to stroke Avis all the while as she listened closely to their conversation, trying to keep a straight face all the while. Finally, she couldn't resist a giggle when Jacob blushed at the mention of the kiss. After getting her bearings, she finally decided to answer Jacob's question after she added a few comments of her own, of course. "See? I told you she has a crush on you~" She then gestured to Slade. "And ditto on what he said. I still have my doubts on her but, if you are okay with her, then I'll support you all the way!" She could feel the disapproving stares from her Pokemon, but she ignored them. "And nope. I still have yet to catch my Mawile. All I have gotten was the desert with overly playful Gibles, Druddigons and Trapinches and the swamp with overly friendly Goodras that hug you when you least expect it." She chuckled as she recalled the goo incident before letting out a sigh. "To be honest, I'm disappointed yet relieved at the same time. I do want a Mawile, but I'm still uncomfortable with the idea of it being a Fairy type..."

After giving their master a stare down, Avis and Corona only looked at one another and sighed. If that was Danielle's decision, then they will abide by it and leave the situation alone.

Claude softened up a bit. Staying annoyed in a conversation wasn't his strong suit. "Actually, no, Coleres capture was a complete and total accident. But if you want to hear more about that, I'll tell you later. Looks like you're about to collapse." Claude said with a frown.

Having been just been caught up in the battle, he was amazed at how well Claude took control of the situation. "Hmm, so I guess 'the Extraordinare' isn't that much of a bluff. He handled that pretty well for just recently meeting the Aggron." Voltage was very impressed with the 'battle of the giants,' having felt just the aftermath of the Earthquake made him feel for the Tyrunt. Once the rest of the applause ended, Robert went back to the table he was at before, seeing that Nikki was already finishing up the spaghetti that it brought back, with the goo somehow keeping the average red-stain from getting on it. "Well, I hope that's all you need for now. I don't want you to be in pain from stuffing yourself." After returning the smiling, full Goomy and Voltage, he walked back towards the cabin.

The Tyrunt let out a short growl indicating her displeasure at being picked up so suddenly, but changed her tone after Ryan began petting her . He seemed nice enough, if a bit lacking in courtesy. Her master laughed at her reaction but didnt tell Ryan to set her down.

Ryan's face lit up when she began to become pleased at his petting her. "She's adorable, Kage." He gave a small smile to the Tyrunt, setting her down when he reached his room. He shut the door behind them, and limped over to his bag. He pulled out a black and blue t-shirt, covered in splatters of different colors, as well as a pair of sweatpants. "Ok, tell your pokemon not to look Kage." Ryan turned to face away from the breeder and his pokemon, and removed his towel, hurriedly putting his clothes on.

Surge (Galen)

“Gardener it is. Melody?” Teach poured in some coffee and moved a cup to Galen.

“On it,” the female agent replied. Her fingers moved at a ridiculous speed over the keyboard. “Done.”

“Great,” Teach said. His eyes were still focused on the man in front of him. His hand disappeared in his vest and grabbed a white envelope. He moved it to Galen. “Your fake ID, other papers and background are in here. This is what Melody just sent over to the Academy. You will start exactly a week before the Winter Cup. Get familiar with your surroundings and I don’t think I’ll have to tell you what a great disguise the Cup is.”

He quickly glanced at the monitor Melody was sitting at. “If you want to see the files of your team members, go right ahead.” He made a small gesture that made clear he would follow Galen to the computer.

Jacob smiled at his friends. "Thanks for the support, guys. I really appreciate it." He then looked thoughtfully at Danielle for a moment before speaking. "Look, just because Mawile is a Fairy-type doesn't mean it's like the others. As a matter of fact, Mawile can be one of the most vicious Pokemon in this area. But," he said quickly, not wanting to discourage Danielle. "You have the advantage over it thanks to Corona. Mawile are known for their attacking prowess, not their defensive capability. You'll do great against one, I know it. And worst comes to worst, I'm sure Professor Cadmus or one of the other adults can give you a few tips."

Galen

"I think will then," Galen said, Taking the white envelope and stowing it in his cop uniform. He got up from the chair and headed over to the computer, curious to scope out who he'd be working with from here on out.

"Or if you really want, I bet me and Flare here can burninate any pokemon for you!" Slade said following up after Jacob. Flare then got yipped after Slade's comment as to agree with what he said. "Just make sure you don't get into too much trouble." Slade chuckled as he continued eating.

As if to emphasize what Jacob and Slade have said, Corona let out a few sparks to show off her toughness. That Mawile won't stand a chance against her! She will make sure that her master will catch it no matter what!

Danielle grinned before taking a deep breath and nodded at their encouraging words. "You're right, guys... and girl. Mawile can't be that bad. Vicious or not, I know Corona and I will be able to tame it! I just need to believe in myself and not panic! As for you," she poked Slade, "As much I would love to have you back me up, I don't want a burnt up Mawile at my feet. But thanks for the offer~" Danielle then looked up at the evening sky; the bright, dazzling day has now given way to the dark, blinding night. "I just hope I will have enough time to get to know it before those battles..."

After the mention of battle Slade shot up, "Oh yea, battles!" Slade said with anticipation, "I almost forgot, have they released the match ups yet?" He asked seeing as how his group was late coming back. Flare was disappointed after Danielle mentioned he couldn't burninate anything. Flare loves burninating his enemys, for some reason it just makes him feel super macho.

Danielle shook her head. "None of the professors I had been with said anything about them. What about your's, Jacob?"

Avis had flown out of Danielle's arms and is now sitting on the table. She seems to be in her element now that it is nighttime; Avis stared up above her, now at peace with the world.

Jacob grinned. "He said my matchup is going to be a challenge! That means I need to have a Charmeleon at my disposal by then. Tomorrow, the whole team's going to be put through rigorous training. There's no way I'm going to lose! It's hard work and dedication that'll win the day for us in the end, so until the day before it's practice, practice, practice!"

The next day

Group 1 (Bfroger, Murdoc, Zephyr, EXLink)

“Ooh I hope I can find a Turtwig!” Lana said enthusiastic. She was walking next to Raiza when they finally arrived at the lake. “Want to go look for one? Or do you want to catch something else?”

The Goodra hug team came prepared today. Yesterday they had many visitors and gave many hugs and were wondering if today would be the same. Some of them were used large groups visiting and knew they came multiple days in a row. This time their eye fell on Kage and Slade. Both boys stood out for them as they currently debated to see which one they would go hug first.

Group 2 (Commander and DarkLight)

The group went with Rebecca and Brendan to an open space with caves a little further ahead. High in the trees surrounding them there were multiple Swablu and Altaria flying and chirping around. Rebecca quickly explained the challenge and that they were free to explore the area. Some students formed in line to grab a camera Brendan was handing out.

Evan ignored the challenge and explored the area before taking a seat in the grass. He released Faith and Eevee and gave them some food. He took a water stone out of his pocket and began twirling it around his fingers. During the past few weeks he suspected Eevee had become strong enough to evolve. But if he used the water stone he got from a complete stranger, it meant he was willing to join their organization and support whatever they were doing.

Kristen, who was awfully quiet, wasn’t interested in the challenge either. She made a picture of a Swellow rebuilding her nest. Little did she know this particular Swellow was fond of shiny things, but learned her lesson yesterday and wouldn’t go after one of those flash creating machines. Instead she would pick out easier targets. But which one?

Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos)

After visiting Tyrantrum, Haxorus and Hydreigon, the group moved on to Salamence Territory. As soon as they started to climb higher into the mountains Alvin started again. He was rather quiet yesterday, mainly because he was studying bug types, but there weren’t any close by. Every time they left a dragon species he started talking to different people about how powerful his new Heracross was. This time Sofia was his victim. The poor girl had been trying to figure out what to do with the Ryan situation. She glanced at him from time to time before staring at the road in front of her.

The weird duo walked closely by Robert and Sissy who could hear everything and could see how uncomfortable Sofia was.

When they arrived at the territory there were no Bagons at their usual place. Devin didn’t say anything about it but just went ahead and climbed up to the plateau. He made sure every student got onto it safely before turning to the strongest Salamence. The female dragon was surprisingly laid back and didn’t care about the humans in her territory, unlike the other species they saw earlier today, and just snorted. Devin didn’t even have to show his respect.

A lot of Salamence were flying around, being chased by jealous Shelgon. The little Bagons were gathered a little higher on a cliff. If they jumped down they would end up directly in the middle of the students. The little dragons were used to diving off cliffs but this time it was a little higher than usual; dangerous even. One little brave dragon, who seemed to have a different color, was standing with its back to the cliff. Ryan was the only one who could see this on Flygon’s back.

Group 4 (K_H, Surge, Jory, Azery, Lucky Elf)

When the group arrived at the sandbox with Flygon, Garchomp and Druddigon, it was ridiculously hot. The dragons didn’t seem to mind the heat as little Trapinch’s were digging around and the smallest Druddigon’s were wrestling. A group of adventurous and playful Gibles managed to dig holes around Mareek and started their little game.

Not far from Kenny, James and Claude were two Torkoal’s staring at each other. The intense heat seemed to be coming from them.

((Not sure if Jacob has Teo out so he can start his event))

Grinning at Lana's excitement, Raiza replied, "I'm not too sure yet, pon. Usually I just go with my gut-- if I want it, I'll capture it. For now though, my focus is on Dark-types, pon... and that makes you all the more special, sweetie!" She hugged Lucifer-- again as though the fire didn't faze her even a bit-- so tightly his eyes seemed to pop out.

Hearing the constant bug-rant coming from Alvin, Robert starting to get annoyed at the endless gloating. He seemed prideful, WAY to prideful. Robert pushed the annoying words off, but his focus was put towards the actual target, Sofia. 'Oh great, as if Sofia doesn't have enough on her mind from yesterday.' While looking around to the Salamence area around them, he tried to take his focus off of Alvin's ranting, doing his best not to start an unnecessary fight.

The visit to the Tyrantrum, Haxorus, and Hydreigon was fun, but Ryan was excited when they approached Salamence territory. However, Ryan was disappointed that there was a mysterious absence of the Bagons. Upon further investigation, Ryan noticed a small precipice, similar to the one he had been at the previous day. Upon it was a group of Bagon, but one was standing out. In fact, it was standing way out. A different Bagon, a small green one, was standing dangerously close to the edge of the cliff. The little one was dancing, as if it was about to perform an amazing act. Ryan chuckled at the sight. It was actually quite humorous. But that didn't last for long when a realization came to Ryan. I remember reading about this. Bagon throw themselves off of high places to try to fly like a Salamence. I guarantee that one is trying to do the same. Ryan quickly gauged the height of the fall. It's definitely larger than what I planned on jumping from. This is too dangerous.

The Bagon began slowly edging backwards, preparing itself to leap. They'll all see, I'm the superior one. I'll fly and show them all. The Bagon was smaller than the others, and she was not one to be happy about it. The Bagon yelled and jumped off the cliff, rapidly flapping her arms, trying to fly.

Ryan's face turned white as the Bagon backed off the cliff. Oh no no no. I am not watching someone do the same thing I was gonna do to myself. This Bagon is not dying today. Ryan gave the Flygon a signal to dive forwards. The wind whistled past Ryan's face as the Flygon soared downwards, attempting to make it in time. The situation seemed bleak as the Bagon was getting close to hitting the ground. It was now or never. Ryan began sliding towards the front end of Flygon's back, stretching his arms outwards to catch the Bagon. It's small hand brushed Ryan's and he closed his grasp, catching the Bagon by its tiny appendage. Ryan pulled the Bagon onto Flygon's back releasing a sigh of relief. "Are you ok, little one?" Ryan brushed some dust off of the Bagon and set it down in front of him.

The Bagon was incredibly angered when the boy had interrupted her flight. The nerve of this human. I was showing up those wannabes and now this boy stopped me. How embarassing! The Bagon stomped her foot on the back of the Flygon, infuriated over her situation. The Bagon bared her teeth at Ryan, attempting to intimidate the boy.

Ryan was shocked to see the Bagon so angered at him. "I-I was only trying to help..." Ryan signaled the Flygon to return to the group. They flew over to them rather quickly. As soon as the Flygon reached the group, Ryan stepped off, holding the Bagon like a small baby. Ryan yelled out to Devin. "Professor Cadmus! Can I ask for your assistance here?"

The walk through the dragons territory wasn't the best, Sissy could have. Near her, Sofia was walking along with a weird guy, talking about his bugs. He hadn't stopped for a second from the moment they started their little trip, making her feel dizzy about everything she had heard till now.

"Hey Robert." She said, trying to catch up with the boy ahead of her. "What do you say? Should we help her out?" Her face turned over to Sofia. She could see that the girl wasn't at her best at the moment. "I don't think she can handle her current situation right now. That guy is so irritating."

"That IS true. I doubt she could be able to handle his boasting even Without what happened yesterday." He turned towards the two, Sofia obviously being uncomfortable in the current situation, and Alvin continually bragging about bug types. "The best I think we can do separate the two. If you can figure out some way to cheer Sofia up, be my guest and I'll deal with 'bug boy'." While having a slight unnerved shudder, he knew that it would pass the problem off to someone more able to handle it. Maybe he could try and relate that Heracross that kept being glorified currently moreso to fighting types, atleast that would make this 'forced situation' better off on some sort of 'similar ground.'
