"Well, so much for that idea... but it doesn't matter now," Mareek said upon seeing his plan fail epically and Tyron come out to handle the situation. He was a bit surprised to see the boy he'd talked to earlier step up to the teacher's offer, given his fear of rock types and all... well, you gotta conquer your fears somehow, right?

"Cube!" he heard from beside him. Nemo was grabbing his pants leg, pointing at Slade and Danielle with his club.

"So he finally stopped stalling and said it, eh?" Nemo nodded, almost pridefully. "Did you have something to do with it?" Nemo again nodded. "Well good job, you helped out... now, wheres Erce?" A nudge in the shoulder answered his question, along with one not so happy looking Mantis. Seems she was a bit mad they had left her out of the antics. Mareek didn't pay it any mind though, simply looking back and forth between the three of his team members.

"Anyone want to take a rest?" He asked "It's been a long day and everything..." Java was the only one to take the offer, back inside his pokeball a few moments later. Erce and Nemo insisted that they weren't tired, but Mareek knew all too well that within an hour or two, Erce would be back in her capsule asleep as well. Nemo though seemed to still be full of energy. "If you two aren't going to go to sleep, then how about we watch the Snorlax battle?" both of them nodded, following behind their trainer as he found a spot where they could easily see the action between Claude and his Gargantuan opponent.

"Flare!" Danielle laughed alongside the trio of boys. She was just glad that this was finally off her chest and could enjoy the result; Danielle secretly thanked Alastair for the advice before she proceeded to wipe off the sauce on her Pokemon with an unused napkin. As soon as they are done cleaning themselves off, however, she heard Avis gave a low, threatening cry. This time, the Dark Pulse that was threatening to come out from her beak was finally noticed by Avis' human. Danielle, surprised at her sudden hostility and the new move, looked towards where Avis' gaze settled on - Jacob and Kristen - before she pat Avis. Although Kristen didn't seem to like to hold her tongue against the coordinator, Jacob's presence seems to make her think twice about throwing an insult. "No Dark Pulse, Avis. Jacob has it under control." The mention of Jacob, however, also brought another unsettling thought to mind: Would Jacob be upset if he saw them together? 'I'm going to need to explain to Slade about this...' Using his hunger as an advantage to get away, Danielle got up and began walking towards the dinner table. "Why are you still sitting here then? Let's go~" she invited, although her tone indicated that something was worrying her. Hopefully, Slade would be perceptive enough to pick it up.

Avis looked perplexed when Danielle said "Dark Pulse." So that was why she kept on having these dark, violent thoughts whenever an enemy threatens her master! She looked to Corona, who also seemed surprised by Avis' anger. To test it out, Avis let out a sigh that released a few loose, black-purplish rings that exploded in midair. Corona chirped, congratulating her Murkrow friend for a new move. Avis nodded hesitantly at the newly found power; she was going to have to get Danielle to help her practice this before using it in battle. For now, though, Avis told Corona to stand guard and flew towards her master after hearing her worried voice. She then gestured to Slade to follow her, in case he didn't get the memo.

As soon as Slade stopped laughing uncontrollably he began wiping off the sauce off of him and Flare with napkins. Flare seemed happy seeing as how Slade finally confessed. The newly met Gible still had no idea how long stuff like this was going on though at least he was there when he confessed. After he was done he noticed Avis charging a shot in a direction and that direction was at Jacob and Kirsten.

"No Dark Pulse, Avis. Jacob has it under control."

'What?' Slade thought to himself, 'I never knew that was Jacob's type. I just hope he knows what he's getting into.' Then Danielle then got up from her seat and to the food table.

"Why are you still sitting here then? Let's go~"

"But there's a battle going on right now." Slade said gesturing towards the Snorlax and the other pokemon. Then Avis, who seemed pissed, then gestured Slade too come with Danielle. He let out a sigh, it was probably important. "Come on guys lets go, we don't wanna get left behind!" He said to the two pokemon who then followed him to Danielle, Flare on right, Xemnas on left.

Having experienced the Earthquake from the battle, Nikki ended up losing it's balance, having the plate tip forward. Realizing this she struggled with the plate, 'swishing' around to keep the spaghetti off the ground, determined to not waste it, loosing bits of the pile constantly. About a minute into it, the struggles became loud enough for Robert to hear them over the battle. He simply grabbed the plate off Nikki's head, and gave a faint smile. "Well, nice determination, but I didn't really expect you to try that hard. Go ahead and take it by our table, and enjoy. I doubt anyone else'd want it anyway." Accepting the food back on it's head, Nikki went back towards the table they were at earlier with a big grin on it's face, letting Robert focus back on the battle.

Despite her concern, Slade’s interest in the battle made Danielle raise an eyebrow. ‘Looks like Avis’ ADD has some competition.’ “Weren’t you just hungry before, mister?” She then shook her head in amusement. “Nevermind, we could go see the battle and get food together anyways. The food is on the way there.” Danielle paused for a moment as she figured out how to phrase her concern. Slowly, her footsteps fall into Slade's stride, making them walk side by side. “Slade, I’m worried about how Jacob would react to this… I don’t know if he is over me yet. Shouldn’t we ask him or something? I don’t want to hurt him again…”

Avis, still perched on Danielle's shoulder, looked back at where Corona was stationed. Seeing Corona's fear of the annoying Kristen, she uttered a "Murkrow" that was soft enough for a Pokemon to hear from that distance to tell Corona that she could leave the table if she wanted. Like Danielle, Avis thought they would go back to the table after they got more food; since that was not the case, it was pointless to have Corona stay there by herself.

-------------

While the Pokemon went off to look at the battle, Corona obeyed Avis and stayed on the table until she was allowed to join them. As she sat on the table, the little bug decided to look at what Avis was mad at, only to find Jacob and a redheaded girl. While Corona was happy to see Jacob, the girl behind her frightened the fiery bug with her disgruntled expression. Corona also heard a heavy sigh from Ryan, who didn't seem happy with Kristen either. 'No wonder Avis doesn't like her. She looks so scary... What is Jacob doing with her?...' She then heard Avis calling for her to come over. Corona began crawling over to rejoin her companions when she stopped on the edge of the table, having second thoughts. The Larvesta quickly turned around and gave a loud cry that could be heard around her table. For some reason, she was trying to get Jacob's attention...

"I don’t want to hurt him again…”

Slade thought about this subject for a while, as he did he filled another plate of spaghetti, "Well, I see two ways this could be play out." Slade paused for a moment, "He'll either get really pissed off and will probably never see us again, or he'll understand and be happy for us, thought both side have there down falls I think Jacob'll be more understanding. Though I'm not too sure if he'll keep hanging around us as much and move with a different group of friends." He finished pouring his food then turned towards the table, "All we can do is hope besides, Jacob is stronger then that. I should know, WE should know." After that he went back to the table and sat down to eat while watching the battle take place."

"Yeah, he's strong but... Should we at least tell him so he could be prepared?" she asked, her worried expression still etched on her face as she walked back to the table with him.

Avis was happily surprised at Corona's courageousness as the firebug called out to Jacob and Kristen in such a loud voice. This was the first time Corona was actually coming out of her shell without the black bird's support. Once she was sure that Slade will stay with her master, Avis flew over to Corona and gave her a pat to show Corona how proud she was of the firebug. Corona blushed in embarrassment before she looked at Jacob (and to a lesser extent, Kristen) once more.

Amused with the Rhyhorn's lack of finesse, Raiza let out a small laugh. "It's really cute though, pon, and I suppose that he can't help it." Loud munching noises could be heard from the right, where Toothless himself was digging in with gusto. A distant roar sounded from the main bulk of the camp, making Lucifer and Rogue look up from their meals, to see a huge Pokemon. "The heck was that?" Raiza said, turning to look. Suddenly it was all bright as electricity fell upon... Something small. Something small that launched big rocks at what looked like a Snorlax. Raiza blew a low whistle. "That's some intense technique, pon... but the tubby fella doesn't seem to be scathed much, pon." The girl watched the battle as it progressed, seeing an Aggron kick up a Sandstorm and hearing more thunderous roars that she recognized as a Tyrunt's. "That looks like a fun battle... oh well," Raiza said, stretching." Hey Lana, out of curiosity, have you met any interesting people here, pon?"

The Axew let off another growl for good measure, then continued to tear at her food. Kage, however, was occupied by something else. "Just forget about her. She's just jealous that you have such a fantastic partner." He offered a cheesy, spaghetti-stained grin, trying to lighten Ryan's mood.

"Yes, she's jealous of my gorgeous, spaghetti-stained boyfriend. That's it." Ryan giggled a little bit, finishing the last few strands of spaghetti. His plate was now empty, save the red sauce covering it. My spaghetti-stained boyfriend. Ryan covered his hands in the sauce, and began flicking it onto Kage's face, before smearing it across his face. Ryan was hysterically laughing by the end of it. "Gosh Kage, why are you such a messy eater? I think you need to take a shower." Ryan teased Kage lightly, enjoying the moment more than the average person would.

"You should probably check yourself," Kage replied with a perfectly level tone as he suddenly brought up his plate and rubbed it on Ryan's face, smearing him with not only sauce but little bits of noodle and hamburger. He unsuccessfully tried to suppress his own laughter, imagining what the two of them must look like.

Ryan laughed along, running a finger over his face, catching some sauce and hamburger. The finishing design was a messy heart, and Ryan licked his finger, enjoying the extra food. "Now I have to take a shower to you dingus." Ryan emphasized his signature, casual insult. Ryan began to stand up but tripped on a rock right behind the table, falling face first. He pushed himself up, dirt sticking to the sauce on his face. "Ok this is seriously disgusting though." Ryan laughed casually, picking up his crutches. "I'm off to the showers, join me if you want to." Ryan gave a teasing wink and began hobbling to the boy's dorm.

Kristen noticed Jacob quick glance at the ground. From what she had seen before she suspected Danielle broke his heart, but kept quiet. Instead she gave another glance at Danielle and saw her and Slade getting really comfortable. After Jacob’s proposal to grab some food she nodded towards the new couple. “You sure you want to go there?”

Lucky Elf

The Tyrunt flew at high speed towards Snorlax, who prepared to strike the little dragon down. Unfortunately the big Pokémon underestimated the speed and Tyrunt’s jaws closed around his arm. Snorlax let out a small roar, more so because it was annoying, and tried to shake Tyrunt off but failed. Snorlax knew Aggron was the most troublesome one and got ready to take the attack head on. The Head Smash hit target and Snorlax was being pushed away a few meters, but managed to hold onto his opponent, leaving a small trail on the ground. When the attack finally lost some power, Snorlax held himself in place by using his massive weight.

He used to Tyrunt on his right arm to smack it into Aggron while using Power-Up Punch with his left. The sound of a fist clashing into metal rang around the field.

“A few,” Lana replied. She thought things trough for a moment and decided to summarize everyone she knew. She had a feeling Raiza didn’t know that much people. “Danielle is really fun to be around and Mareek is really nice. I don’t know if you know him but that’s the boy with the Scyther over there.” She pointed towards the small crowd where a boy with a Scyther and Cubone could be seen. “Jacob is nice too but I don’t know him that well and there’s Evan. It’s hard to get to know him, but I don’t think he’s a bad guy…” She took a sip of her water. “There’s also Claude The Extraordinair; he’s really funny and his roommate Alvin. Not much to say about him except that he likes Bug types. He’s sitting over there; the one with the Combee flying over his head.”

Rhyhorn made a snort. He finished his meal, walked over to the girls, and fell asleep right in front of them. “What about you?” Lana asked, patting Rhy. “Did you meet interesting people?”

Finishing at the same time as the spiky rhino-like Pokemon, Toothless burped, yawned, stretched, and finally curled up by the Rhyhorn, faling fast asleep. Somewhere along the way, Rogue had taken to tossing some of her food up into the air and slicing the pieces finely for her own amusement.

Unable to help smiling a bit, Raiza shrugged at first. "Claude the Extraordinaire...? That's a fun-sounding name, pon. Anyway, it's great that you were able to make some friends here, pon," she said, genuinely happy for her usually bashful friend. "On the other hand, I don't really find much people here interesting or much fun to hang around with... but I've met a couple of people just recently, pon. There's a misunderstood one named Henry-- he seems to know what's up. Then I've met an adorable pair of lovers, Kage and Ryan. Kage's a bit more quiet, and Ryan's quite the prankster when he feels like it, pon. There's a redhead with a fedora too, namely Slade, who's got... a 3DS--" the envious girl's face wrinkled a bit, intentionally though-- "and there's Danielle too, and our bunkmates. Oh yeah, and a kid named Rob... Robert, I think. Met him and Slade on the bus on the way here. Yeah...Admittedly though, pon, I don't really... know much about any of them, and I've only spoken to them once or twice so far."

It was only when Henry was mentioned that Lucifer perked up with a lively, "Wick!" as if to agree with Raiza's describing him positively. "You seem to be fond of him, pon, is that where you've been going to this whole time?" his Trainer asked, to whom he nodded with a smile. "Well, if you really have a good feeling about him, maybe I could take you to see him a bit more, pon... Though I can't make any promises, since I never know where he hangs out." The little flame on the Ghost-Fire type's head grew and brightened. Oh, what joy! He could observe this strange soul more now.

Once the dinner started, Sissy grapped some food for her and her pokemon and sat down on an empty table. She letted out all her pokemon to enjoy the meal. Both the Flaaffy and the Slowpoke let out a yawn and started eating their food. The Swablu was in Sissy's arms, with her feeding it like a baby. While the Misdreavus took her food and sat on top of her trainer's head.

Once they ate their food, Sissy returned Cotton inside her pokeball to sleep. After all a baby needs food and sleep. She started walking away from the table when she saw a battle was going on nearby. She could see some students gathered there along with professor Tyron and a Snorlax. "A Snorlax? Battling?" She let her thought come out loud. "I thought they were just sleeping. Weird." She started walking towards that destination.

After a minute, she could see that the Snorlax was battling against an Aggron and a small Tyrunt, both controlled by a rather familiar face. Isn't that the guy from professor Devin's house?

She walked a bit closer, where a guy with a Scyther and a Cubone was standing. "Hello there." She smiled at them. "Can you maybe tell me what's going on?" She turned her face at the battle scene once again. "I thought that Snorlax is a more of a sleeping pokemon rather than a battling one."

Claude began to panic a little. The longer this went on, the less hance of winning there would be. His brain churned and fought for a solution when a little something clicked. "Colere, get onto Snorlaxs arm, and Bite his head! Aggron, use Metal Burst!" Colere, using her jaw strength, hopped herself up onto the Snorlax, and using her small agile form, scaled the Snorlax and opened her jaws wide, engulfing the majority of Snorlaxs head in her mouth. Aggron on the other hand, began to shine, the brightest point being where Snorlax was hitting him. Eventually, there was a bright burst of light as Aggron released a powerful nova of steel light.

Jacob looked toward Slade and Danielle. As he watched the two together, he couldn't help but have mixed feelings. I'm happy for them. I really am. But at the same time it hurts to see that this is happening so quickly. He sighed and looked back at Kristen. "I'm sure. But that doesn't mean we have to sit with them. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that."

Corona spat out a few flames from her horns in annoyance, which was quite rare from the normally timid Larvesta. Without consulting Avis or her master, Corona propelled herself towards Jacob like a rocket jet and stopped right in front of him. Still hovering, the Larvesta gave a few polite chirps and pointed to Slade and Danielle's table. "Lar... Vesta?" she asked before she lowered her voice to a soft, sad tone. "Ves vesta lar..."

Jory and DarkLight

“I think there’s your answer,” Kristen said when Corona showed up. “Danielle obviously doesn’t want you to hang out with me. That proves how selfish she is. She turned you down and now goes with your best friend and still she wants your attention. She even sends her Pokémon over to rub it in.” She gave Jacob a small smile. “I would love to grab dinner with you but in other circumstances so let’s do it some other time, okay?”

Tyron was cheering on the sideline like he was the one battling. “Oooh! Great use of Metal Burst!” he roared.

Snorlax was less impressed. The attack did a lot of damage, especially from point blank range, and the Tyrunt hat didn’t help either. In fact he was starting to get angry. He really wanted that food and it always tastes better after a win. The gigantic Pokémon grabbed Tyrunt by the tail and swirled her around like a lasso before smashing her into the ground.

Because of the Metal Burst attack there was some space between Snorlax and Aggron. Snorlax used it to run as fast as it could, jumped up and dropped its entire weight on Aggron. (Body Slam)

“I met Slade,” Lana suddenly remembered. “He’s weird and I don’t know what to think of him. Danielle seems to like him though…” her thoughts wandered and she suddenly wanted to know how her roommate’s day had been. Unfortunately she couldn’t see her and Slade from where she was sitting. The group cheering on Claude stood in between them. “If you want I can introduce you to some of them?”

The snorlaxs attack finally finished Colere off. Her unconscious body skid across the floor to nearby Claude, who ran to pick her up. Meanwhile, the Snorlaxs weight, whilst heavy, hardly affected Aggron, who used his supreme strength to slide the snorlax to the side, aided by the lack of friction caused by the sandstorm, though the action did tire him out more. "Now, Aggron, Protect, take a breather for a second!" Aggrons Steel carapace shined with the light of an impenetrable barrier

The Trainer fought down an angry retort at Kristen as she badmouthed Danielle, but part of Jacob couldn't help but agree. She's kind of right, but I doubt Danielle would have sent Corona over here instead of walking over herself. "Fine. We'll do dinner another time, then," he said with a smile.

Jacob looked down at the sad little Bug Pokemon and sighed, leaning down to pet Corona. "I'm sorry, buddy, but I don't know if I can do that just yet. I'm still hurting right here," he said, pointing to his heart. "Whatever's going on between those two is going to take a whole lot of getting used to. I just... can't right now. I'm sorry," he said quietly, stroking the fur on the Larvesta's head and being careful not to drop the Togepi in his other arm. "They're still my friends, but this is too much for me right now."

Snorlax fell on the ground and quickly got up again. Seeing his opponent went on the defensive he went for a barrage of fast paced Power-Up Punches. His hands glowed red with hints of orange as he tried to punch through the barrier. It wasn’t the smartest move but if Snorlax wanted to win he had to keep attacking even though he was already panting heavily.

"Now, Aggron, Duck beneath it's attacks and use Head smash! Send the Brute flying!" Claude commanded. Picking it's moment, Aggron broke the protective barrier and ducked as ordered, stepping into the snorlaxs guard and ducking it's head, aimed directly at the centre of the snorlax gigantic frame.
