"Hey, um, Tyron, sir? After this mess is dealt with, I need to talk to you, or at least one of the teachers." Kage was nervous for a few reasons. One, the unfolding chaos. Two, his tale was outlandish at best. And three, he wasn't sure if they knew he had been keeping secrets, and if so, what the penalty would be. Thinking about the topic, he remembered something. "Oh yeah, and can you get Raiza, too?"

Suddenly, Donphan.

"Slade, Lana, look out--!" Snatching a surprised Achlyx and grabbing something with her other hand-- whilst hoping she'd grabbed Lana's arm-- Raiza made a mad dash for a wall, or a cabin-- really, any kind of shelter from the stampede. No, she wasn't running away; you just don't get in the way of a stampede. Especially if the Pokemon stampeding are over two hundred sixty something pounds. Individually. Ducking behind a wall as the herd of Donphan ran past, she checked Achlyx over. "It's all okay now, girl. We're good here," she said to the Skorupi who, no matter what, would've never admitted to being frightened, yet shivered in her Trainer's arms.

"HEY! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO FALL ASLEEP, COVER YOUR EARS! NOW!"

'Wait, what?!' Sure, Robert didn't expect it to work as well as he could fear, but he didn't want to take chances. "Kiai, Nikki, cover your ears quick!" Kiai listened to Robert and covered his ears with Nikki lacking any ability to, and Robert covering his ears as quick as he could, having Nikki's Pokeball still inhand making him waste time that he didn't have. Of course, the two Donphan's heard the warning to the trainers and Defense Curled, just as a precaution to try and cover their ears with it. In the end, the Donphan's were a bit shaken but fine, Nikki was fast asleep from it, and Robert's inability to act quick enough led to him getting affected by the Sing. While he did get his hands up, it had already started by then and the Sing had left him fighting for consciousness, having fallen backwards and passed out.

Seeing Robert currently knocked out, the bigger Donphan realized the hesitation in the attacks, and figured out that the human was the one calling the shots. With that idea, it told the 'follower' to launch a Magnitude towards the Riolu while he goes in for 'the other.' The follower just assumed that 'the other' was referring to the Goomy and nodded. Kiai realized the incoming Magnitude and used Quick Attack away from the attack's range while Nikki was hit. He started to question why he hadn't gotten the order, since the Sing had died out a while ago. 'Wait, why isn't he calling out to me and Nik- wait, Nikki's asleep? Could Robert...' Kiai's thought was cut off when he saw the larger of the Donphan using Rollout, but it wasn't going for him, and it passed by Nikki, what could it's target b- 'Wait, it couldn't be.' He turned towards Robert, to see his trainer had been put to sleep by the Sing, with the Donphan going Straight towards him!

As soon as Kiai realized this, he Quick Attacked straight towards Robert, knowing that an attack to the Donphan's side wouldn't be enough to stop the attack from hitting him. Robert was starting to get out of the sleep daze when he saw the Donphan, going towards... HIM?! 'N-no. I gotta-...get...up...' Robert tried to get up, hoping to get somewhat out of the attack range, but he still hadn't recovered enough from the Sing and felt as if his body was jelly. Kiai knew that there was no time to do anything but get a Counter up and hope. 'No, I won't allow you to do this. I can't let it happen. I won't. I-'

Robert had cringed up with what little strength he had currently, not realizing that Kiai had gotten infront of him, as well as the flash of light not just being a result of what he knew would be extreme pain, as it wasn't his first experience with such pain.

"Lucar!" Finally opening his eyes, the saw what he realized was Kiai, having just evolved into a Lucario, and he was getting hit by the Rollout point blank. Getting enough force, he finally released the Counter towards the Donphan and knocked it away from them.

"K-Kiai..." Hearing Robert, Kiai turned his head back to see him finally getting awake. It was fairly obvious that Kiai had taken a lot of damage from that hit, especially since he had to keep it from just Rollout-ing over either of them. Robert slowly started getting back up, glad that it went better than it really should have. "Ugh, thank you. I'm suprised you evolved, but let's wait till after we're done to celebrate, sound good? That is, unless you need your own rest." With that, Kiai nodded and shifted his full attention towards the Donphans as well as how Nikki was still put to sleep. 'Okay, they likely won't play "fair" after what almost happened. Be alert.'

DarkLight and Commander

Devin came over and crutched down on eye level with Henry. “What’s wrong?” he asked concerned. His eyes glanced every now and then back to the place where Evan fell over the rail.

Zephyr

Lana stumbled around while being pulled by Raiza. She had no time to do anything else but recall all her Pokémon except Rhy. The Rhyhorn was still sleeping and didn’t move an inch. “Shouldn’t we at least try to help?” she asked her childhood friend. It was obvious she was worried about her friends and the potential damage the herd could do.

Murdoc and Tacos

Tyron and Alastair struggled keeping the most powerful Donphan away from the camp. They didn’t want to hurt the rampaging ground types. “Mhm?” Tyron said. His attention was on the ongoing battle, but he made sure the students behind him weren’t hurt. When he didn’t see any wounds he answered. “Yeah sure, give me a minute to finish this battle and I’ll be there.”

Everyone battling at the camp

Tyron’s Snorlax, Mienshao and Aggron started to push the herd back. Alastair’s Kingdra held back while spraying water around. There wasn’t much force behind the attack but it was just enough to snap some of them out of it.

In the middle of the camp Donphan’s and mainly Phanpys that weren’t involved in a battle fell asleep. Others were paralyzed and calmed down due to the restricted movements. The ones that were confused or hit by Doux’s Razor Leaf became more destructive. Phoebe quickly jumped in and released her Blastoise, Jellicent and Milotic. She used the same tactic as Alastair and used water attacks with just enough power to calm them down without causing serious damage.

The water expert kept an eye on the ongoing battles while her Pokémon were calming the rampaging ones down.

***********************

“Is he death?”

“I don’t know. This wasn’t supposed to happen but those Donphan were more difficult to control than I expected. I never imaged they would knock the boy off the path before Skarmory could sweep him away…” the boss mumbled.

Evan suddenly started to move a little. His entire body hurt and he had no energy to get up. A groan escaped his mouth as he opened his eyes and had an unclear vision. He could hear footsteps circling around him.

The Skarmory was walking circles while studying the human. They said this human was hers, right? She could go with him and he would raise her. She would finally have a home! But why didn’t this human pet her? Why was he looking the other way? She nudged Evan in the ribs and a cry of pain could be heard.

“That hurt! You son of a… Skarmory?” Evan said confused. He narrowed his eyes to get a better look and saw a steel bird.

“Glad you two seem to get along,” a deep voice said, catching Evan off guard.

"Thank you very much, sir." Ryan turned to Kage. "I'll go find Raiza and bring her back, don't worry. And don't get killed by a Donphan or I'll... I guess kill you wouldn't work at that point. But you get it." Ryan turned away and began weaving his way through the mess in search of Raiza. After almost getting trampled about three times, two times by a Donphan and once by an incredibly large group of Phanpys, Ryan located Raiza and Lana huddled against a cabin. He pushed himself against the wall, and slid against it to get Raiza and Lana. When he was close enough, he tapped Raiza on the shoulder. "Hey, Kage said he wanted you. He's over there with Tyron and Alastair. Apparently he needs you to help tell them something." Ryan pointed towards the small group, giving a light pull to signal that they had to leave now. Victoria motioned for them to follow by swinging her arms in a backwards circle towards Kage, Tyron, and Alastair.

“What’s wrong?”

"Nothing in particular. I think my pride was hurt more than my actual body. Seems like I'll live. I do have to ask you something. Are Pokemon or wild ones in particular normally this aggressive? Sorry for asking, but I live in a region scarce of Pokemon so I'm not used to seeing groups of wild ones. I may have been hit a few times by a couple of Pokemon owned by trainers back in Orre, but I hope this isn't going to be a common scene." He looked up at the large dragon hiding his true concern. Before coming to the academy, he had an incident where he broke his ribs. Unfortunately, the Donphan had nailed him in the same place causing him to cough a little blood out. He just avoided confessing this concern to Devin because he was sure nothing was broken.

Jacob sighed in relief as Kiai evolved and was able to defend his Trainer. I'm glad no one got hurt from that. Now it's time to figure out if everyone's okay! With that, Jacob smiled at Chalchi. "You did great! Take a good rest," he said gently stroking the Lapras's neck. He then hit the return button on her Ball and released Arete, picking up his Togepi and smiling broadly at her. "You did amazingly, Arete. I'm so proud of you. But let's go talk to the professors and find out what the hell just happened." He began to jog toward the faculty, Arete smiling broadly and enjoying the ride. Eventually, he managed to catch up with Alastair.

"Excuse me, Professor, but do you know why the Donphan stampeded like they did? Some people almost got really hurt," he said with a twinge of regret as he looked toward Robert.

Danielle saw Henry give a glance at Zared before he continued to speak. Once Henry finished, she remained silent for a moment to gather her thoughts. She finally nodded, acknowledging his promise before she addressed the more important issue. "I sound like a broken record, but I already told you to drop the tough guy act. You're not fooling anyone with this," she said, holding up the bloodied tissue in her hands. "As for being an optimistic idiot... Zared, can you come here for a minute?" As soon as her Mawile was close to her, Danielle stiffened up as she tried to pet him on his head once more. Seeing her shaking hand, Danielle resigned to holding her up her hand for Zared to high five, which he did happily. "Thank you~" she thanked her new partner before he sauntered back off.

The girl sighed before turning her attention back to Henry. "I'm not as strong as you think. I still couldn't hug him because I'm afraid he will bite my head off, even though I know, deep down, that he wouldn't... I was also upset when I saw Evan tumbling down that cliff; Corona's previous expression had mirrored mine when I saw the rope break... I'm only able to get back up because I had my friends and family supporting me." She looked around at her Pokemon before continuing. "And I always believed that everything is solvable, it just depends on our experience with the world around us... And if we are willing to make the effort to change ourselves. That is why I try to talk to everyone - I want to learn more and prevent these mistakes from happening again." She shifted herself a little to loosen up her stiff muscles. "Since you already know that isolation isn't working out for you, why_not be more accepting of what has happened? Holding a grudge and feeling sorry about yourself, as I recently learned from Avis, isn't going to help me. And... I'm sure that friend wouldn't want to see you like this too."

Danielle held her tongue as Devin came over to check up on them. Once Henry finished, she couldn't help but roll her eyes before she addressed the tall professor. "Henry is downplaying his situation, sir. He will live, but it might be best if he got some medical attention, just in case." She held up the red napkin to add reason to her statement. "I don't know about the Donphan species, but I also haven't seen any Pokemon group this aggressive before. Back in Kalos, even a murder of Murkrows would not attack trainers unless provoked..." Danielle then waited for their elder to, hopefully, explain the stampede.

Avis noted Henry's uneasy glance at the Dragonite before returning her gaze to her surroundings. This was certainly an interesting start to get through to this Orre boy. Who knew that a Hydreigon, a fiesty redhead, and a Donphan could bring out his softer side?

“I agree with Danielle,” Devin said. “There’s no need to keep a tough façade when you’re coughing blood. You might have an internal injury so don't move until we go back to the camp. I'll call for medical help from there since we have no signal out here.”

He then turned his attention to Danielle. “Donphan’s are usually loyal and gentle Pokémon. We knew there were two alpha males were battling it out but we kept a track on them through GPS. Ever since we arrived here they haven’t moved from their spot. I suspect Pokémon Hunters had a hand in this since Alastair didn’t warn me they moved. I can only guess someone removed the tracker.”

Jory

Alastair sighted. “Hunters probably caused this. I checked the herd a few hours before you all arrived and even put a GPS tracker on a Phanpy ear. Donphan never leave one of them behind and the GPS is still at the same place they were a few hours ago; 5 kilometers southwest of here.”

"Slade, Lana, look out--!"

Slade looked back as the two ran off to safety though it seems he and Sasuke can handle themselves. Soon after that, the Donphan they had attacked before had decided to counter attack with a rollout. "Quickly, use a smokescreen then send one more water pulse at it to calm it down!" Slade said to Sasuke with a rolling pokemon ruching towards him. Suddenly a black cloud of smoke started to appear around Sasuke and the Donphan headed straight into it, though Sasuke was no where to be found. Then, out from the smoke a water pulse hit the Donphan in the face knocking it out. "Oops, Sasuke you went a little too hard on that one." Slade told the frog that honestly didn't want to hear it. Then out of the corner of Slade's eye he saw Mareek. Then he remembered that he always kept an eye on organizations like Team Rocket so he should know some info on what happened in the wood probably. "HEY MAREEK, OVER HERE!" Slade yelled towards the boy while waving to get his attention.

"Slade? Better than no one..." Mareek muttered as he made his way over. Erce kept his back, watching for anymore approaching Donphans. Luckily it seemed that the two from before had either yet to find their trail or had decided to back off after the Attack Java and Nemo launched. The mantis had taken to the air as her trainer had begun running, opting that she'd be able to keep a much better eye out from above rather than from ground level. That and a Scyther versus a rampaging Donphan? yeah, didn't usually work out well for the bug type in question.

"Seems like shit always has to happen around here, right?" he sighed. "You alright?"

"Yea I'm okay." Slade said adjusting his hat, "I was with Lana and Raiza when they just suddenly rushed into the place." Slade sighed, "Then Sasuke and I fought off one of them while those two ran to safety. Oh yea, I don't think anyone has met Sasuke yet." Slade said to himself as Sasuke appeared beside him. "Oh there you are, anyways there's a reason I called you here," He paused for a moment, "I think I know who started this whole mess and I wanted you to be the first person I told seeing as how you're personally apart of this."

That definitely got the boy's attention. Even Erce stopped hovering overhead and came down to land, curious as to what information the seemingly airheaded slade might have about this mess.

"Well... who?" Mareek asked cautiously, not quite knowing what to expect for an answer. But in the name of Arceus, if Slade was kidding around about this...

"Well, I guess I should tell you the whole story," Slade said putting his hands in his pockets, "During the past couple of hours I caught this guy right here." Slade then rubbed Sasuke on the head as to say he caught him, "In the process of heading back a swallow came down onto my shoulder and took my headphones. We gave chase and the bird dropped my headphones by a tangrowth." Slade let out a big sigh, "Turns out that tangrowth was owned by a trainer, but this trainer was no ordinary trainer. He was a member of Team Rocket, and he hand another person with him. To make matters worse they wanted me to join, I refused obviously. They have these weird pokedexs that were like cellphones and it seems that they were reporting in. They went by the name team tangrowth" Slade looked into Mareek's eyes, "These two people are very suspicious. I thought Team Rocket disbanded and already tried to reform and now they're trying to do it again. It brings a sour taste to my mouth."

A look of unmistakable sadness and anger came over Jacob's face as the professor explained his theory about the stampede. "But..." he began, unable to complete the sentence. He looked confused and visibly upset. Arete booped him on the nose, but her Trainer had too much on his mind to be brought out of his funk by such a simple gesture. He held the Togepi protectively, not even realizing he was doing so. He then looked back up at Alastair. "But why would somebody hunt them?" he said softly, his voice almost a whisper. "They're peaceful Pokemon. They didn't do anything wrong until they stampeded, and even that was only because they were scared and hurt." He then looked down at Arete. His eyes grew misty, but no tears fell. "Pokemon should live alongside us, not in fear of us," he said as he fought back his anger and confusion. A single tear fell from his eye and Arete leaned upward, wiping it away with a stubby arm and giving her Trainer a concerned look. "Thanks, Arete," he whispered, hugging her once again.

....Speechless. That was what Mareek was at that moment. He honestly...honestly couldn't believe what he just heard. "Rockets? No...but...why? They... why the hell would they be trying to reform again now, all these years afterwards? Does Giovanni actually have an active hand in it this time, unlike with the Johto incident? Is the old mobster even still alive anymore? Is... is Galen here? is he...with them?" He shook the torrent of thoughts and questions from his mind in a flurry. No time to get swamped, he had to focus, find out more. It was obvious this was a situation which needed to be addressed by someone with actual authority, who was competent enough to actually use it effectively, which he'd make sure the problem was... after he got every detail he could out of his room mate.

"T-they did disband..." Mareek began unsteadily. "And after the Johto Branch's failure, no one has had any idea where in the world Giovanni is... there were a few assumptions and rumors that he had heeded their signal they made from the Goldenrod Radio Tower for him to come back to lead them, but those were just that; rumors at best. And after everything fell apart for them again, none of those speculations meant anything anymore." He paused for a minute, producing his leather bound Bestiary of Terror from his Jacket and beginning to flip through his notes, searching and searching furiously for something.

"But that's precisely why this doesn't make a lot of sense to me..." he continued. "Giovanni's dropped off the face of the earth for the most part; those idiots stragglers still out there have to realize that by now, Their Don is probably never going to come back to them, no matter what they try. The only way to explain them even giving things another go after their Fiasco in Johto... is if someone new is pulling the strings."

Dear god... he thought to himself. Don't let it be him...it can be anyone else, but him. He absolutely dreaded the mere thought of his big, long estranged brother possibly having a direct hand in this apparent Rocket resurrection. So much so that it damn near made him sick to his stomach with anger and fear. Anger at what the bastard did all those years ago... and an equal amount of fear for the exact same reasons. He looked a bit paler than usual, clasping his Bestiary shut and returning it to his Jacket. The emotions turmoiling in his mind was so strong though that he lost a bit of his wits now, completely forgot about trying to get more information out of Slade. He couldn't focus himself. The only option he had was to say the most obvious thing.

"Slade..." he said, still visibly pale, the blood having seemingly drained from his face. "You need to tell Professor Cadmus about it. Or Professor Silva or even Professor Arlyn... anyone. And you need to do it, NOW."

Slade nodded, "Lets go Sasuke, be on guard. Also Mareek I think you accompany me too, seeing as you know more about Team Rocket then most of us here." Slade then ran to the closest professor which happened to be Phoebe. Sasuske was protecting Slade as he ran towards the professor while trying not to disturb the Donphan. Something seemed off about Mareek, 'Why did his face go pale back there?' Slade thought to himself, 'Probably just my imagination but he seems off, and a little more than usual' But his thinking time was cut short as he was right by the Professor, hopefully with Mareek behind him. "Professor I need to tell you something. I think I know who started this whole mess in the first place, It was Team Rocket. I met them in the woods a couple minuets ago and they wanted me to join them. They shouldn't have gone far, and could still well be near the place where these Donphan were before." Slade no with a serious look in his eyes. "If we hurry, we can still catch them."

Mareek was somewhat reluctantly right behind Slade as the other Trainer made his way to tell Phoebe. His face had regained a little of it's color as he gradually strained to calm himself and steady the racing thoughts galloping through his mind faster than a stampeding herd of Wild Rapdiashes. He didn't say a word as Slade went on giving the summary of what happened to the instructor.

Erce meanwhile, kept a closer eye on the boy than she usually did, convinced by his body language just now that something was indeed beginning to go wrong with him. Ever since yesterday after the Swellow incident, he'd been acting completely out of whack from time to time. And now here he had gone again, this time after Rocket was mentioned. The Scyther had a suspicion that whatever it was, it definitely had something to do with the Crime Syndicate and what Mareek went through a few years ago... and she had another one on top of it. One that all the work she had done to help him get back to a socially functionable state back then... was beginning to slowly unravel, bit by bit. She knew she had to do something to help him, try to find a way to stop it before it went too far to be repaired. But at the same time she was doubtful of her ability to do it alone again, like she had before...

Raiza nodded, with a serious look in her eyes. "That's why we're here-- it's safer to get the Donphan from here. Have you got everybody-- wait, where's Rhy?" Oh no, Lana wasn't able to call him back? "Come on, we'll have to knock these guys out first. Rogue! Icy Wind--" As the Sneasel popped out of her Pokeball and blasted forth a cold wind, her Trainer felt somebody tap her shoulder. It was Ryan. "Hey-- whoa, no offense, but you look like hell," she said, noticing how frazzled he looked, as though he had to... wait... "Did you just-- cross-- the stampede?" a bewildered Raiza asked. Either way, it seemed that Kage was looking for her. There was no way but to calm the rest of the thundering herd-- no way she wanted Ryan and/or Lana getting stomped flat. "A-Anyway, thanks for relaying the message, but we'll have to clear the way first. Keep at it, Rogue! Lucifer--" the Litwick in question popped out of his Pokeball, briefly eyeing Ryan-- "Flame Burst when I tell you to, okay, sweetie? If it goes right, the cold should divert the Donphan; Flame Burst should briefly open up a clearing in the herd so that we can cross," Raiza said, watching the massive Ground-types thundering past them.

Henry looked over to where Evan fell again. I've seen hunters before, but I doubt they're this good. Most of the time they're work is somewhat sloppy because they're usually unprofessional. This had to be planned especially with the tracking device disabled and the students coming were all in one spot. I can't even think of who. There has to be someone behind this because this is Cipher good. That boy who fell is my only lead. Whoever gave him that Water Stone may hold some answers.

The boy snapped out of his thought realizing the two weren't going to leave him there. "Go ahead and call the paramedics if you have to. They'll probably end up saying I'm perfectly fine. Can I ask you something else? Have injuries like this ever happened on a trip before now? More recently to be exact."

Finally getting his full wits about him, Robert focused on the battle at hand. "Okay, the larger one seems to be the best target, maybe the smaller one will even follow if it that one feels threatened. Kiai, if you can pull of that 'Flash Palm' technique we worked on, that would be great." Kiai nodded and launched forward with a Quick Attack, landing a few feet away and using the leftover speed as he launched the Force Palm towards the Donphan. The larger one tried to hit him with a Rollout before it got there, but the added speed allow Kiai to hit before it started the roll. The smaller one, not wanting to hit the larger by mistake, used the Rollout towards Nikki. She took the hit straight on, finally being woken up by that hit, while it started up the next Rollout. Around then, then larger of them was starting to feel the pain and let off a close-distance Magnitude.

"Kiai, go in for a Force Palm. Nikki, hit yours with an Absorb." Following orders, Kiai took the Magnitude and hit the Donphan straight on with the Force Palm, while Nikki launched the Absorb towards her target before getting hit with the Rollout. After all the attacks landed, it seemed that all of them had distanced themselves through the impacts, and were now staring their opponents down, seeming as if they were all on their last bits of health, gauging each other to see who'd make the last move first.

"Okay, Kiai finish it with a Force Palm. Nikki, you hit yours with an Absorb." Hearing the orders, they launched their respective attacks, with both of the Donphan's using Slam to finish it off. Attacks colliding, the damages took it's toll, with it resulting with the Donphans fainting, Kiai collapsing, and Nikki being left well enough with the HP the Absorbs gave her.

With the battlefield settling down, Robert went towards Kiai with Nikki following from her opponent. Once getting there, he took out an Oran Berry and handed it to Kiai, who took it happily, getting up once it took into effect. "You both did really good, especially you Kiai." Kiai gave a simple cry and a grin in response, Nikki rubbing against his pant leg like usual, receiving a few head rubs in response. He then turned back to the Donphan infront of him, Kiai taking full note of the one still behind aswell. "Now I assume that they'll calm down after that. I'll just leave an Oran berry for each of them, that way they'll be able to leave when this all ends, no problem." Setting the berries infront of the larger Donphan, Nikki sighed at how she was left being the only one without food. "Eheh, the Oran Berries are for their healing, not just to eat. You'll get your 'share' of food when everything's done, okay?" With a simple cry, he turned his attention towards the others that were still fighting their Donphan off, knowing that whatever help would be easily appreciated. "Okay, while I feel we should try and help others out a bit, you two are probably exhausted by now and Voltage wouldn't be able to do much, especially against so many Ground types, so we'll stick to straight on defensive." With a simple understanding, Robert left cautiously towards the more 'centralized' battles still taking place, knowing well that staying separated in this kind of situation would be likely end badly.

(That's my battle done with, I could either just let Robert stay out of the action for now, or someone could bunny him into it. I'm fine either way.)

Avis' eyes narrowed as she absorbed the information that Devin had given them. While Pokemon hunters is an obvious answer to their rampage, something inside her gizzard is telling her that something is off. That answer seems too easy for some reason... The curious black bird then looked at her master to see what her response is.

Danielle fiddled around with the straps of her gloves, considering Devin's response. She could feel herself getting enraged at the those of Pokemon hunters but, like Avis, something isn't fitting in properly, but what? 'If Pokemon hunters are hunting them and Donphans are normally peaceful... It would be natural for the Pokemon would run away scared, yes... But why didn't we hear their cries beforehand then? Surely, at least Avis would have heard them if they are in trouble... But we only noticed them when they are upon us. That doesn't make sense.' She shook her head to drown out the background sounds, trying to recall what she had seen before she ran towards the railing. 'That Donphan on my right... It didn't look scared... In fact, it looked... determined? It's almost as if it wanted to charge at us, like it was commanded to or something!' Although that thought could fit into the story, Danielle frowned. Not only does that observation help explain the missing trackers and the sudden rampage, but it could also signal something worse than just normal hunters, like Team Plasma or Team Flare. 'But that is so crazy! All of them are disbanded by now! Maybe I'm just over-thinking this...' She then replayed the scene in her mind, trying to see if she misinterpreted an expression. However, the more she thought it over, the more Danielle was sure that she was not mistaken. Those eyes had the same fire that her Pokemon's had when they followed her orders! Before she expressed her concern, however, Danielle decided to stay quiet while Henry asked the professor about any past experiences with rampaging Donphan. Perhaps the answer to Henry's question could provide more evidence to prove that her theory was just a childish fantasy.

DarkLight and Commander

Devin shook his head to Henry’s question. “No, we know this place is a perfect hunting ground and a goldmine in the eyes of a Hunter. That’s why there are a lot of strong Rangers around these parts of the forest. And then there is Alastair and other breeders who keep an eye out. Dragons, the tusks of a Donphan, Tyranitar’s… all of these ‘items’, Devin said making quotation marks, “are worth a lot on the black market. We knew it was a risk to place the dragons and even the Donphan’s here but it was the best location. Almost every attempt Hunters make fail and most of them are discouraged. But there are desperate ones… they take more risk and are more violent. My best guess would be that this is a situation like that…” There was a hint of doubt in that last sentence. Even Devin had his doubts that the situation could be caused by mere Hunters. But who caused it then?

ExLink and Surge

“Team Rocket?” Phoebe asked surprised. “Weren’t they disbanded?” she asked while ordering her Pokémon to finish it up. “And they tried to recruit you?” She didn’t wait for an answer. “Jellicent, Milotic, calm the remaining ones down! Blastoise, you’re with me!” She turned back to Slade and Mareek. “Where did you meet them? I’m going after them so warn Professor Silva or Professor Cadmus when he returns!”

Jory

“The tusks of a Donphan are popular on the black market,” he said with disgust. “There are people who pay a lot of money to use it as wall decoration and such. Even though this area is heavily guarded by Rangers sometimes a Hunter successfully captures his target. Others become more desperate and violent. I never saw anything like this before but I’m going to find out after all of this madness is over with.” There was no trace left from his usual friendly personality.

Jory + everyone else not battling / sent over by Phoebe

Tyron successfully managed to hold his ground while Alastair’s Kingdra calmed the strongest Donphan’s down. Almost the entire herd now stood still like nothing happened or searched for their friends and little Phanpys. In the camp Milotic and Jellicent went after the few that were still rampaging, while others were waking up or huddled together. Neither of them showed any angry behavior towards a student.

When the two Alpha’s finally calmed down, a Haxorus showed up with some students that belonged to the second group. They slipped passed the herd, unharmed, and went over to Alastair, Tyron and Roman. The latter had been busy calming the ones down that left the path and were rampaging in the woods while making sure they wouldn’t enter the camp.

Kristen was the first student to arrive and panic showed on her face. “Professors,” she yelled loud enough for most people to hear, “there’s trouble! A student, Evan Reeves, was knocked over the railing and fell down the slope! Professor Cadmus sent us to ask you to start a search party. He sent his Dragonite but the woods are thick and the slope was still rather steep…” her voice stocked. It was obvious she was still in shock after what happened.

Tyron grasped for breath. He cared a lot about the safety of the students and immediately took the lead. “Alastair, you and I will each lead a search party. Roman, grab a map! We need to know the exact location and after that call for medical assistance. Whoever caused this might still be around so I need you to stay here. As for you, Phoebe, you…” Tyron searched for Phoebe but didn’t see her. After Slade told her where he was approached she disappeared. “PHOEBE? Where are you?” His voice roared over the campsite the entire time and showed some determination and leadership. No student would be harmed or go missing on his watch. That was the secret vow he made to his father. To the man who gave his everything to build the Academy.

"It was by the swap area with the goomy." Slade told Phonebe, "We were lead deep into it by a sweallow then they appeared. There were two of them, both big bodied and one sounded like a girl. They were called team tangrowth." After he told her that she ran off to where he told her.

“PHOEBE? Where are you?”

Slade then went over Tyron and decided to tell him of Phoebe's whereabouts, "Phoebe went towards the goomy habitat to search for the suspects. She just left a moment ago." He said pointing towards where she off to. "She told me to warn Professor Silva or Cadmus when they return, because we think it might be Team Rocket. They're trying to reform again and thy wanted me to join them."

BOOM!

Donphan scattered, opening up a clearing like Raiza predicted. "Good thing there's less of them, now. C'mon, we've got to move quickly! Rogue, keep at it, keep them away from the openings Lucifer makes!" The Sneasel moved quickly, climbing up the cabin with much speed, leaping towards the free space of ground marked black from the explosive fire, and sent more frosted wind down towards the ground, the cold puffing up, spreading, keeping the Ground types away from the gap.

"Come on, let's get a move on, quickly!" Raiza looked at Ryan and Lana as though telling them to go first.
