Once again,Dratini's attack was negated.Hoewever this time it was due to the Dragon Rage and Flame Bursts Collision, instead of confusion.Liona was reaching her limit and a few more attacks would probably knock her out."I wish i didnt have to do this, but Liona return"James said as he raised the Serpent's pokeball and the Dratini was returned to said ball in a flash of redlight."You know, two can play at this game Raiza.Shade,I need your assistance!"James shouted as he sent out his First pokemon.Said Duskull floated in the air and eyed the Litwick with it's lone red eye."Shade,Illusion field!"James commanded while Shade automatically let out a Black mist from under the Black Cloth that concealed it and covered the entire field with it after which a few Will-o-Wisps and a Night Shade created Illusionary versions of the Duskull."Let's see you get past this!"He muttered to himself.

Sasuke and Slade noticed the falling thought they were tapped by others, "Sasuke, run towards the rock and use water pulse to blast a small hole to slip through the side of it falling!" Sasuke ran towards the rock and shot a water pulse on the side of the rock chipping it to make a small gap for him to fit through and the water made it easier to slip through. He did scrap his shoulder as he was slipping through the hole. "Sasuke, use smoke screen when you escape to trap the tyrant in a black fog!" As he escaped he saw the dragon and released a black smoke as soon as he saw it.

Claude watched Jacob go, he couldn't really give him much advice about it all because he didn't know all the details. Claude had learned before that it's better to stay quiet with your stupidity than to let it out into the world. Claude did walk over and congratulate Danielle. "That was fantastic! My fellow Coordinator, we're showing these Trainers what the meaning of skill is, or as close as we've come to it" He beamed at is friend, happy for her.

"Why merci Claude~ Hopefully, that would teach her not to take us so lightly the next time." Danielle chirped happily as she waited for Avis to get out of her makeshift pool. The teenage girl then noticed Jacob walking off after Kristen. He seemed upset about something, but what? "My dear friend, may I ask what has gotten into Jacob all of a sudden? He seemed perfectly fine before I had to battle."

At the mention of "Jacob," Avis took a glance at the wandering boy. If she remembered correctly, that battle Jacob had with Mareek was a bit sour at the end... Perhaps it has something to do with that? Before she went further into her thoughts, the bird then heard a crash of rocks coming from Slade's battlefield. Well, a good show after a bath is always nice. Plus, Jacob seems to want to be alone if he left Claude all by his lonesome; there is nothing else for her to do. The Murkrow finally flapped out of the little water hole and shook off the excess water as best as she could. With a cry towards the two humans, she flitted towards Slade and Kage's battle, leaving a water trail behind her.

"I'm afraid that he might be bothered by several things, though I imagine the way things went with Mareek is a the forefront of those troubles. I wouldn't worry, this is something that'll resolve itself over time." Claude explained with confidence as he avoided the spray from Avis as she flew away. "That said, we only have a few years of it here, so time is precious. The sooner they sort it, the better."

"Mareek, you say?" Danielle asked, giving a glance towards the troubled boy and his fierce Scyther. The mantis' glare indicated that she didn't seem to like Jacob for some reason... And Mareek seemed really upset over something. She then heard her Murkrow give a cry before the bird hopped over to her boyfriend's battle. Avis didn't seem bothered about Jacob leaving at all. "Well, since Jacob doesn't want to talk about it... I guess we really can't do much in this situation either, huh? That being said, want to go and watch Slade and Kage? We might as well make the most of what time we have now~"

"Sure, let's go cheer on your man." Claude agreed cheerfully. He grabbed hs pokeballs and let his team out, Doux gave a gleeful cry as he flew in the sky again whilst Colere snorted and took a position between Claude and Danielle, keeping an eye on the girl. Lance was content to run around as usual, being his own hyperactive self. "Y'know, i'm going to have to calm Lance down. When he evolves, we can't have an Escavalier running around... Someone will probably get hurt..."

Danielle chuckled as Lance ran around the battlefields. "I wouldn't be worried. Lance is probably going through a phase or something. And, if not, I'm sure Doux could keep him in line~ Although," she hesitated as she observed Colere's over protective behavior, "I'm sure... she?... could do it just as well." As an added measure, she gave a slight bow to show her respect to the dino-dragon, just as Devin had shown them back in the mountains. "And it looks like I'm not the only one who is getting over their fear."

Avis crowed a greeting up towards the floating Doux before she settled on a decent place to preen her feathers while watching the battle. She then crowed loudly to get the humans here before anyone else could take the nearby spots. The place she has chosen is, coincidentally, near Ryan. He should be able to hear Avis' obnoxious voice pretty clearly.

Claude grinned sheepishly at Danielles comment. "Well, it wasn't exactly planned... Ask Mareek about how I panicked. I accidentally caught Colere here after pissing her off and we had a slight scuffle. She knocked a pokeball, and yeah. I think she sees more as a piece of property than a trainer though. But what fears have you been overcoming, may I ask?" Claude asked tentatively as they arrived to where Avis as beckoning them.

"Avis! We're coming, sheesh!" Danielle retorted lightly to her noisy bird. After Avis quieted down, she turned her attention back to Claude. "That would explain why Colere is giving me that suspicious look before." She chuckled before addressing the Tyrunt. "Don't worry, I'm not going to fight you over Claude. He's not my type~" Danielle then reached for the Great Ball that contained her exhausted Mawile to show Claude her catch. "As for that fear, mine would be Fairies and, to a lesser degree, Electric types. Bad childhood incident with Avis, Dedenne, and some ignorant elders."

Once they reached Avis, Danielle released Zared onto the ground so that he could enjoy the next few battles in peace. Zared put on a brave front as if he was about to face another opponent before he wobbled and, finally, fell backwards. He gave a wave towards his company before he contented himself with watching the clouds. "As you could see, Zared has been kind enough to follow me around and help this poor soul overcome her childhood trauma." Danielle explained to Claude as she sat beside him. She then rummaged through her bag and pulled out an Oran Berry for Zared to eat. After he took it, Danielle pet his head with ease.

Avis gave a wary glance at the Tyrunt before she settled back to her grooming. A soft, white glow then covered her body as she replenished her energy by Roosting.

Once Danielle's battle finished, Henry remained quiet watching everyone else move away from him. He was alone once again, something he wished happened more often. He considered watching Raiza's battle, but something else was on his mind. That battle I had...it was just like the last one. Even though I had a good shot at winning, I still didn't take it. I want to say I don't know why, but deep in my heart I know the answer.

Henry looked down at the Vulpix taking a deep breath. "Zuko...I've been putting this off, but there's something I need to tell you. My dad just emailed me yesterday and said he found a trainer perfect for you. I know you're not going to like this at first, but it's for the best. You've been trying your best and improved so much, but I just can't chance another accident. Don't worry, your new trainer is very kind and probably going to be far better at battling than even me."

The Vulpix didn't take the news lightly, but he didn't resist. Zuko simply looked down on the ground trying not to think about it. Henry was the one who pretty much raised and trained him. He had no idea what it would be like training under someone else, but he didn't like it. He really wanted to cry, but he held back. That would only make the situation worse. Suddenly, he felt something grabbing his leg. A little Togepi was grabbing him and giving a hug. He then looked over at Henry and saw Burrows had escaped from his Poke Ball. He was still weak and tired from the fight, but he stood there furious at Henry. The Vulpix couldn't help but smile. He was going to miss these guys...especially Gypsy. Zuko looked around, but the Venonat was nowhere to be found.

On a small hill a little ways away, a Venonat sat there watching Zuko and the others. Truthfully, she wasn't surprised at what happened. Gypsy kept her distance because she knew this was coming. Ever since the day she joined, Henry mumbled things whenever she was out. The trainer doubted the Venonat was ever listening so he often told things he never told Zuko even. However, she was listening. She heard every word he was saying and understood every bit of it. If only he'd open up to someone. Maybe he wouldn't be like this. There was the one girl he almost did, but he took a great leap backwards shortly after. The Venonat continued sitting there snacking on berries she stole from other trainers watching to make sure they were alright.

((I don't care if anyone overhears what Henry said, but I'd prefer if they didn't say anything to him about it))

Well, holy hell. That's some powerful illusory abilities. That didn't daunt Raiza so much; she did live in a literally haunted house and the Ghost-type Pokemon loved to play tricks like this all over the place. It was a wonder her parents hadn't gone mad. "Just so you know, none of the Night Shade attacks were my idea, pon. Most of it was all Lucifer," she called out. Then, speaking a bit more softly, but in such a way that it sounded like Raiza would've been smug or smirking, she added, "That, good sir, is just a measure of how much confidence I have in my little sweetheart."

The praise alone was enough to keep Lucifer's spirits high. His flame grew brighter and brighter-- who said you couldn't fight fire with fire?-- and it grew bigger and bigger. The training with Rogue had helped him improve Flame Burst greatly; the attack charged until it couldn't contain itself and it exploded from the top of his head, threatening to hit any clones near him, the embers and charges that flew from the eruption hurtling towards even further clones in almost any direction. In all honesty, he wasn't sure where this Shade was, but that didn't daunt him; he knew enough tricks that could hurt it if it came too near, or even if it tried to flee. Not even the illusions could scare him; he knew Raiza was with him and he felt every bit of her confidence in him. Nothing about this rival Ghost scared him.

After all, nothing tasted better than pure soul.

Damn, he escaped. "Reina, run out of the smoke and chow down on that frog!" Though the Tyrunt's eyes were burning, she still obeyed the order and darted out of the cloud. Barreling at the Frogadier with enhanced speed, her jaws snapped wildly as she sought her target. However, she stopped after a bit, and gave her trainer a confused look. Too late, Lucas informed him of his mistake. Damnit. All of that was so noisy that I couldn't tell where Slade's Frogadier went.

"Now's your chance, Sasuke, use Water Pulse right at the back of the dragon then use Round to make sure they stay confused!" Then out from the black smoke came a blue orb of water shot straight for the confused pokemon. Before the attack got too close to the Tyrunt a loud screeching noise also came from the black smoke blasting on ear popping levels. 'Hopefully this will stun that dragon or block out any commands that kage may or may not make.' Slade thought to himself as the orb flew out of the smoke.

The flame burst finally exploded and the flames that came of it were moving at moderatly high speeds towards the Illusionary Duskulls."Shade, let's blow those Flames out,Move in front of the illusions and use a wide spread Ominous wind to protect them and yourself. Then make the illusions encircle the Litwick!"James grinned when Shade started moving."The ominous wind might blow out the haze, but i can use it to keep the Litwick at bay.Though i'd prefer to keep the Haze, this is a worthy trade."He thought as the Ominous wind was finally executed but only after 2 of the Illusions were destroyed.

Most of the Flame Burst blew out from a sudden rush of ghostly gusts. And now the illusions were all spinning, spinning around him. What tough prey, not submitting to their fate. If they got any closer with that wind... "If they think they've got you just because they've got numbers, they ought to think again. Nocturne Lights, Lucifer!" Of course; they couldn't touch him either if he had his own barrier of defense! A pitch-black sphere engulfed the Litwick; should the Ominous Wind make contact with his Night Shade, theoretically both attacks would dissipate. That would give him a window of opportunity to strike. And now... to dazzle them all-- more charges and sparks flew from the top of the sphere that opened only for Lucifer to launch Flame Burst, exploding just like the last time.

But what that Trainer and his Duskull didn't know was that a dazzling array of lights were sent out, covered by the bright light of the flames; even if they blew out the flame, well, you can't blow out pure light... especially if it scrambles you.

"Argh, not again."James shouted after the ominous wind was dissipated by the Night Shade attack and Shade was hit by a Confuse ray."Shade,if you can,try to use Ominous wind at all directions.if possible have the Illusions move out of range!"This was the only way Shade could hit the Litwick, while still being confused."After that, use Night Shade at Lucifer and make sure he can't dodge it!"He muttered after the Ominous wind was executed(Used an RNG thingy to do this ).

Kage was about to yell out a command when Reina did something rather unexpected. She zeroed in directly on Sasuke's position, and charged with her head lowered, crashing directly into -and through- the Water Pulse. It obviously hit effectively, but the Tyrunt was in full tantrum mode; she didn't care, as long as she got to attack the source of her irritation.

"Sasuke use Water Pulse on the ground, then when the tyrunt gets close jump over it as she speeds under through the smoke." Sasuke was able shoot a water pulse onto the ground which got the area around the smoke cloud all wet and slippery. As he jumpped over the raging pokemon he was left open in the air. Though the water they had put on the ground should make it hard for the speedy pokemon to stop his immediate direction due to the times he polished and was headed right into another Steath Rock. She could notice because after Sasuke had jumpped the smoke lowered reveling the watery ground below her feat.

Stratos

Lana had no idea how to help Mareek. She had no experience dealing with stuff like this. All she could do was sit next to the boy. “You aren’t anything like him. It isn’t uncommon to use electric attacks in water. I’ve seen other, less skilled, students do it. And your reaction says enough. You only ordered that attack because Java was safe. You clearly put some thought in it and that’s not what I call being reckless.” The breeder twirled some leaves in the grass. “And I just know you won’t ever order an attack against someone else.”

Erce nodded gratefully at the girl, knowing she had been right about her hunch that she'd prove a valuable bit of help with this. Mareek meanwhile was beginning to stifle his emotional state, fighting back against the tide he felt like he was being suffocated by. Maybe Lana had a point; maybe simply resorting to the same tactic, the same concept, didn't lessen him as a person...not so much as having resorted to it without thinking beforehand would've. And even if she didn't and she was somehow wrong, He had already cried enough about it over the years; , he wasn't going to allow himself anymore tears now... Tears wouldn't do anything, tears weren't going to make Gallen pay for what he did, for how badly he had betrayed him and mom. Tears weren't going to rewrite the past and make it as it should've been, or even as it could've been. And tears weren't going to bring his dad back either. And so he had no use for them.

If he was going to prove himself to be better than Galen, prove himself to be good enough to hunt the man down and put him where he belongs for the rest of his life; Behind Bars in a prison somewhere, then giving up and breaking down like this was not the way to do it... but yet the feeling of utter pointlessness still crept about in the corners of his mind, despite resolve trickling back in little by little. Waiting, lurking...

"She's right, ya know." Played over his headphones in a stylized voice ripped from words of several songs without warning as he dried his tears. Java appeared from the pocket where he kept his MP3 player, hovering in front of the boy's face and giving him a surprisingly reassuring look for one who usually seemed disconnected from everything. Burns still covered his entire body from the attack from Spitfire he'd taken, but it seemed as though the porygon wasn't concerned about the injuries from his last fight as much as what he wanted to say.Another bout of static and ripped song lyrics came out of the headphones, making another cacophony of noise and different voices from a multitude of songs as Java slowly pieced together his next statement, this one loud enough for Lana and Erce to hear as well. "You are... far better than that... and you are not alone. In this together...remember? And I don't... Follow... Stupid... orders. That... out there... It was not...A... Stupid... Order... or... reckless... or... careless. It... was...Brilliant...Foresight. you thought... before you... acted."

Erce had a look of utter shock on her reptilian face as she looked at the Porygon, the thing struggling to stay conscious any longer from the stress of his injuries. She had never thought that this glorified computer program of a creature could actually feel sympathy, not alone care enough about anything to actually speak out in a situation like this... not that she was complaining he did though. Hell, if anything, she was glad; It had apparently been Java who had ultimately chosen to follow the order in question, so who better than java to offer support about the matter? All she could honestly do is nod earnestly as the boy steadily regained his composure, for once feeling a bit thankful that the mass of Polygons was apart of the team.

"Java..." was all her trainer could manage, just as surprised as the Scyther at Java's supportive testimony. There was no response though. Java tumbled out of the air like a rock a few seconds later, landing right in his lap, out cold. Mareek gave a look to Erce as he hastily duck out a Rawst Berry from his pocket, getting a stare from her that held genuine trust and faith, that said she whole heartily agreed with the Co-Strategist's words. The boy held up the berry and on cue she swung one of her scythes in a clean stroke, splitting the thing right across the middle.

"Lana...Java...Erce..." he said as he began to apply the exposed flesh of one of the berry halves to Java's body, making sure to cover everywhere that was scorched before casting the thing away and pulling out a Sitrus berry, rolling it in between his finger's pensively for while. "You guys... you're right. I guess I am better than that... if all of you, even Java, thinks so." Finally he decided to simply peel the skin off the bottom portion of the berry, taking it to Java's injuries and applying the fluid that slowly leaked from the flesh like a balm of sorts. Java's eyes came back into focus again as he began hovering a little bit above Mareek's lap as he continued the treatment, using his other hand to keep the Porygon from floating around idly too much.

"And Lana..." he said when he had just about finished and Java was beginning to struggle against his restraining hold. "what you and Java both said... Thank you for that... I'm sorry you had to see something like that from me."

"They're clones, right, Lucifer? That means only one of those attacks are real!" That's right. You can do this, you can figure it out, Lucifer! Raiza cheered on silently. The Litwick perked up as if having a Eureka moment. On top of his head, the flame grew and burst, the flames and debris hurtling towards the Ominous Wind attacks; only the real one would blow out the flame and the rest would fade-- and there! Right there, that was the real Ominous Wind! A sphere of inky darkness covered Lucifer just as the horrible gust passed over him, dissipating both wind and shadow as the Ghost-type attacks cancelled each other out. But the incoming Night Shade-- quickly he prepared his energies, ready to conjure another sphere of Night Shade.

"Keep going! Just use your head!" The Tyrunt did so, lowering her head and crashing into the rock hard enough to crack it in half, leaving her unharmed. She decided to continue using this strategy, running behind it and slamming her head into the boulder once more. This action sent chunks of rock flying at the Frogadier, which started to slam down around it and would definitely be making it harder to move around.

As Sasuke was falling from his previous jump he saw the dragon smash into the rock though he didn't expect him to launch the rock into big chucks towards him. One of the rocks hit him on the back and was sent towards another one. Though since the rock was crumbled a bit it looked less sharp then the other ones. "Sasuke try jumping from that rock and keep jumping from rock to rock to speed towards that tyrunt, then use water pulse right on top of it!" Slade yelled as the frog landing on the rock mid-air and jumped from the falling rocks quickly towards the tyrunt who was still on the outer edge of the puddle. Sasuke fire a shot right above the tyrunt at a pretty close range. If the tyrunt had happen to dodge the attack the puddle would grow bigger as a result.
