I am ultimately stuck here. I heard you could do something with ditto and lickytongue but the ditto says JigglyPuff and gloom says cyndaquil. The guard won't let me activate the flamethrower

here's a hint, you can put the guard to sleep with the jigglypuff i wont tell you how to avoid being put to sleep too though.

I had no idea there was a rare candy in that puzzle, it must be new to one of the updates i haven't played.

I'm really not sure what you are referring to here.

Anyways, you can obtain Ditto here if you've saved the daycare couple.

To get out, you need to use the combination of Abra, Loudred, and Jigglypuff to put the guard to sleep, but for you to stay awake. Then use Cyndaquil, Vanillite, and Roggenrola to attack the bars while the guard is asleep. You're going to have to repeat the same steps for the first 3 Pokemon multiple times since you cant freely teleport them at once.

Imo, this was probably the hardest puzzle for me to figure out other than Radomus' gym (I suck at chess).

I saved the day care couple. And I heard I can get a rare candy if I put a ditto and lickytongue together so it wouldn't be lonely

You have to use abra to teleport likitung near ditto and he will give you the candy after ditto transforms into one

Where in the video does he do it? And Im pretty sure I saved the old couple. Before I went inside the factory I checked the dare care couple and thought to leave my Swinub there.

minute 8-9 i think just check for yourself also after you saved the couple you had to do another event in the Coral Ward in one of the warehouses

I think you just have to save the day care couple for the ditto to appear. If you can put Makuhita and ditto on top of each other, that would be great for you. If there is no Ditto, you did something wrong.

Don't worry though. The puzzle can still be solved. You could have got a free Ditto though, if you had saved the elderly couple. Try moving your pokemon around. See if that works.
