Kamina
utility Carbink @ Light Clay Trait: Clear Body EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Ancient Power - Stealth Rock - Light Screen - Reflect This set lets the pokemon set up rocks and both screens up and because of its bulk it can usually atlest get up rocks and one of the screens depending on if your opponents threats are mostly special or phisical. Ancient power is there making carbink a slight talonflame counter and with Max special defensive eves it can tank chari-y rather easily and hit back hard. It can also tank also chari-x pretty easily. Jelly
Why run ancient power when you can use power gem,,,
Shanco
Because if you get that all-around stat boost, gg.
Guest
Because if you get that all-around stat boost, gg. Yeah, but it's only a 10% chance of getting those +1's all round, you may not get them at all, with extremely low PP whilst Power Gem has more PP and is more reliable. I wouldn't necessarily want to bank on +1s that I may not get, personally.
Shanco
And I wouldn't either. All I was trying to do was rationalize the Ancient Power idea.
