Help with the Battle against El (Spoilers)

I also used the Cottonee/Whimsicott strategy, though instead of a sturdy Pokemon I just survived with harassment and stat modifiers. Could also take advantage of Prankser Meowstic with light clay and Light Screen if you want to buff your way through it.

I'm not going to deny, but I used the Cottonee and Pineco strategy too. Heck, I used it against Solaris and his Garchomp, too. Luckily, Garchomp's Fire Fang doesn't burn, cause otherwise, I would have failed. But yeah. All Arceus does is Recover. El doesn't have Full Restores like Solaris does.

Best thing to do is have a magneton with sturdy and Thunderwave. He'll hit you and you paralyze him. Then keep using Thunderwave as he will use Full Heals. Eventually, he will run out which will give you the opportunity to hit him hard with attacks. Or you can use Gengar/Mismagius and OH-KO with Destiny Bond/Perish Song.

Or you could just use a Sturdy Magnezone with Mirror Coat to reflet Arceus's huge damage back at it and finish the battle in 1 turn.
