SilverJakler
I thought up another special run for Pokemon games, although this one in particular requires you to hack in one Pokemon. Just one. So if you're not into hacking in Pokemon to your games, disregard this. Now without further ado, I present to you: THE CHOSEN ONE CHALLENGE The rules are simple: Choose your favorite legendary Pokemon. Any legendary you want. Could be as simple as Zapdos, or as powerful as the almighty Arceus itself. Now, go to a site that lets you create a Pokemon and send it to any game of your choice. The legendary must be Level 1 and have the proper moves it should have at level 1. It's ability also has to be legit, but the nature, IVs and EVs are up to you. However, you can't give it a hold item when creating it. Now, start a new game on the desired game you want to do this challenge in. Start it like normal and get to wherever the first Pokemon center is so you can transfer your legendary. Once you get the Legendary, it will become THE ONLY POKEMON YOU CAN USE IN BATTLE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STORY. That's right, you can only use the Legendary you in battle. You're allowed to have separate HM Slaves, but you can still only use that Legendary in battle. In the event that you have to do a double battle, it's fine to use the Legend and and an HM Slave, but that's the only exception. So, good luck and have fun. Deleted User
Hmm seems interesting and perhaps difficult. Arceus + Plates would be too easy though.
Maelstrom
It doesn't seem difficult at all. People do mono-pokemon runs all the time with starters. With a legendary... heh. I think it would depend on what moves it would/could know at level 1 and early levels that will make the difference. And won't it count as a traded pokemon and grow up faster as a result, offsetting the usually high exp requirement for legendaries to level up? I don't even think this is possible anymore without buying some hardware. Since the GTS doesn't work anymore in older generations. Website's like this don't work anymore. http://pokecheats.net/gts/ There was one that you could upload your pokemon into the GTS and it would then tell you the secret trainer ID, when you gen you'd just make that the secret trainer ID for the Legendary pokemon and then it wouldn't get the XP bonus. Also you could pick a pokemon like Celebi that is bound to have troubles at some point. EDIT: The one I was thinking of was Pokecheck, but they are no longer even active.
