Betraying Leader Speculation?

Now hold up guys. I'm throwing my thoughts out there. Get ready, cuz we is about to go on a trip.

Aya-A likely candidate, seeing as she is already very very cold and hates herself already. Easily manipulated...Or is she? We all know she likes Hardy. Why would she join Team Meteor if she's got a boyfriend to protect? Was it all a scheme to bring Hardy to team meteor? unlikely...

Hardy-He could easily go over to save Aya...But what if he was with them from the start? What if he's been manipulating us into thinking he's good? This is kind of unlikely, seeing as he was laid out in Agate, but we know team meteor has infiltrated Agate. If they were in there to begin with, why didn't they retrieve Hardy and Aya's bodies? It couldn't have been timing as Hardy leaves to show Aya his gym before the grand gates even freakin' open. That's my theory though, and it probably won't be true.

Amaria/Titania-Giant waterfalls and falling down them. I know Amaria could probably get back up with Titania, or that team meteor could get them. It seems unlikely to me.

Now for the big one.

Radomus-So why do I believe it's Radomus? I'm going off of the theory that he may be Anna and Noel's father. This is where we begin. Anna and Noel are in the orphanage. Either their parents are dead, or they were left there. We know that Sirius has seen Anna and Noels father, and that Anna/Noel haven't. Very strange. Then we meet Radomus. Purple eyes, Psychic types, strange. Sounds like Anna. Then we get to the main point. Radomus has a meteor uniform. He wants us not to ask questions, which is suspicious on its own. Not to mention he took the pendant and seemed shocked that we had it. Could it be that Radomus is trying to protect his kids? Could it be that he hates them? Could he be trying to destroy meteor from the inside? Does he want what lies behind the door? Who is Radomus and what does he want? Where in Reborn is he? Will he really join Team Meat-eaters? Find out next time on Pokeball-Z: Reborn

The only reason I'm doubting Radomus is because well... he seems a bit too obvious (if you don't count Titania that is...). I don't think many people will be too surprised if Radomus betrayed us or something. But otherwise, I agree with your reasons.

But Ame likes people to suffer with these gym battles/puzzles rather than a sadistic sort of suffering :)

But seriously, maybe she might do so in-game, possibly for infiltration purposes (It will at least be a little of a shock to some people)? We didn't see her in-game for a very long time, after all...and the situation would get really bad if it happened...

Also, a suprising betrayal would be solaris...For example: he tries a coup (him battling to lin), and one of the two dies (maybe in grueling fashion, Shade?). (And if solaris survives, you get to battle him (the level is kinda right))...

It's just speculation, though :P

Well, Radomus doesn´t give away much information, that´s for sure. But he´s probably just waiting for anyone to make his move, that´s what I guess. He´s a chessmaster who´ll eventually strike, and when he does, he´ll either hinder the player badly or even destroy Lin and follow his own agenda as some kind of third party in this conflict. Or he screws up whatever Team Meteor has planned up until this point and completely turnes the tide in favor of the player and pisses of Team Meteor :D

Both Randomus and Titania are too obvious. You´re supposed to think they´re Meteor, but in the end they only seem to be by your point of view. My guess is Titania has an informant in there, while Randomus is simply very careful and plays it smart. If he was with Meteor, he and El would´ve ganged up on you. He might be an ex-meteor or has a second identity as a meteor to infiltrate them.

If Titania was with Meteor, she could´ve killed you right there. And I don´t think she´s the type to just let someone go that easily. Now, I could be wrong, but this are just my thoughts about this.

The exchange with Aya will happen at the old Power Plant, so right in front of Shade´s gym. I think this will be the point where we find out where Shade stands in all of this, but since Anna said he´s good, I think he´s good .Dat logic, I know.

But I don´t really want to believe Shade is the bad guy. Up until now he was quite nice and helped us a little. He showed us those freaky illusions, but maybe there is a reason behind this (Other than "this is a ghost-arena", hopefully ^^)

Now, let´s think crazy:

What about TERRAWR? Is she with Meteor? I see those weird cameras at some places and Team Meteor tends to know a lot, they even knew about us (the player) when we got to Sirius the first time. Of course, we´re logged in the reborn system and there´s information about the gym leaders somewhere, and you might find out about Fern eventually, but what if they had someone who could just get the data they need from the reborn system which is supposed to have information about the trainers? And why would they look us up? Well, maybe because we survived the train accident and we´re another individual who got to reborn, even though they wanted to remove everyone.

What if they could also hack those security cameras that are at some places in reborn? There is one in the great hall.

So if there is a new trainer right after the train explodes, they might get a bit curious and look him up.

Imagine T3RR4 becoming a totally serious ice-queen all of the sudden, or just straight-out-psychotic O___o

Just kidding, the meteor is probably a resurrected Kiki and Ame is revealed as the true mastermind^^

I'll try to approach this by the rule of "necessity".

It can't be Julia. Meteor already has a person handling Electric. The same goes for Normal, Grass, Poison and Bug. So, Noel, Shelly, Florinia and Aya should be excluded. They also have Blake, so Ice queen Serra isn't a possibility, and we've already seen Fire in Cal, so I cannot think of Charlotte.

Following the same train of thought, I can't say Samson is a viable choice, nor is Sapphira, because I believe Lin specializes in Dragons already, so having two major figures against us would probably mean that Sapphira would lose her post and somebody else should take the Dragon gym. It could be done with Poison, but with Dragon, it's overkill (and redundant, due to shortage of options).

I can't see Luna joining them. She wants to retire and we've fended off the threat by the name of Bennet, so she's safe.

Plot wise, we shouldn't meet Adrienn yet, but xe was sitting comfortable with Elias and did his bidding without asking much. Xe even followed him when he was setting up our trap against the almighty Ditto. Suspicions, suspicions. (the fairies are supposed to be pure creatures)

Titania is too obvious (then again, if she doesn't join Meteor, she is just a beach)

Now, one of the Circus trio should be working as a Meteor in disguise. Why is there a definitely corrupt officer in front of the Ferris Wheel if not for plot reasons related to accessing Agate? Or, should I say....FeRRRAAAWWWRRRRis Wheel? It must have something to do with Terra's field, as I can't see how her Ground types benefit from the arena inside the Circus (big top). Then again, both Terra and Ciel are newly introduced characters, so it wouldn't make any impact to us if any one of them betrayed us.

If you make Shade betray us, we are all doomed.

Hmm, I have a theory on Titania. So far we know two things about her. Firstly we know that she has potential connections, whether friendly or antagonistic, with Team Meteor from their encounter at Aventurine Woods. Second, Titania seems to be going to great lengths to keep Amaria safe and her psyche intact, including keeping a romantic ruse with her for who knows how long, all to keep her from committing self-harm. With how Team Meteor seems to promise its members a whole new world, kind of like what Cyrus was doing, it's not far-fetched to believe that Titania in her desperation will join Team Meteor to save Amaria from herself. It's entirely possible that Titania is attempting to appeal to Team Meteor to fix the situation, that admittedly is part of the protagonist's fault.

Personally, I don't believe that the traitor is Aya. She doesn't really have any reason to betray and join with Team Meteor. Well, there is getting back at Cain, but I don't think she'll go to this extreme for revenge. Hardy's also a good suspect, but he's aside from saving Aya, he doesn't really have any other strong motivations. Radomus is a special case, since at the moment his motivations remain hidden, and we really don't know whether he has his own self-interests in the keystones or he's just interested in stopped Team Meteor. Though the uniform theory is kind of weak, since it's been established that Radomus is a master of disguises, thus it's not surprising that he has the uniform of the region's most infamous terrorist organization.
