ApatheticPanda
Tiana’s mom promises to pay Tiana to clean out the garage. She figures that the first week will be the hardest, but that it will get gradually easier, so she decides to pay Tiana $100 the first week, and then 75% of the previous week’s amount for each of the following weeks. However, when the amount drops below $25, Tiana will earn a steady income of $25/week. How much will Tiana earn after 10 weeks? Round to the nearest dollar. You have 5 minutes to answer this. Winner gets senpai to notice him! (Suckers!)

Maelstrom
Thank you. You have saved save Senpai from a band grade in SAT Prep! Senpai notices you. You are NOT senpai. Those who have come before you and know how to arrive at the correct answer are senpai. How about you learn how to solve it? [1]= $100 [2]= $75 [3]= .75*$75= 56.25 [4]= .75*.75*$75= 42.1875 [5]= .75*.75*.75*$75= 31.640625 [6]= .75*.75*.75*.75*$75 = 23.73046975 -> $25, since it can't go less than 25$ [7]= 25 [8]= 25 [9]= 25 [10]=25 10 week total= Sum [1] through [10] = 100 + 75 + 56.25 + 42.19 + 31.64+ 25 + 100= 430.08 -> $430 What part gave you difficulty? How to arrive at the amount paid each week or what?

Zephyrus the Priestess
... I thought this was a thread wherein people bad at math could wallow in sorrow and self-pity and anguish together. Oujo-sama is disappointed. Deleted User
I've already said this numerous times, if anyone needs help with math, I'm more than happy to oblige, however that doesn't mean I'm going to do your entire assignment for you. Zephyrus the Priestess
I may take you up on this offer when my second sem begins, but only if you're not busy... same goes for anyone I might bug about math in the future
ApatheticPanda
So basically..... you wasted everyone's time, *sigh*.... Yes and no, I did need help with that math problem, but I couldn't wait for a while for someone to answer. I tried my best to answer the question. I later checked back to see if anyone actually answer. To my surprise a few kind people actually took the time to help a fellow Reborn member and I thank them for that.
