Snap Crackle Pop Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 I'm sitting. Thinking. I want to make a RP one shot sort of thing just to have fun messing with people. So I thought; "Well, what sort of one shot setting would lead to some form of fighting to the death/ fight for survival that allows the creator and players to have fun without having to go too in depth with the actual world? What sort of setting would allow for the players to have fun messing with each other?" Then it hit me. Hunger Games. It's perfect. It will allow me to get some good hosing experience and, if it goes well and there is enough popularity, can be repeated. If there is enough interest, I'll set up the OOC/ Sign up so that a person who hasn't read the book/ watched the movies could follow along. Mind you, however, there probably won't be much of a story, unlike the actual series most characters will die for christ's sake this is really just a one shot sort of thing. The rules will have to be very strict too since there could be so much room for abuse with something like this. On another note, Percy Jackson is on hold, probably for quite some time so just let it slip from your minds. I was also thinking of an Original Character Tournament but lets wait for that And I also have an old world I might make into an RP probably next summer xD What is this? If they are in the middle of an interaction I'd find a way to separate them- If I'm not given notice ahead of time of their absence then I'd kill them off after a few weeks if they are holding things up. If they have given notice, I'll probably just bunny them around for a bit and keep them from dying xD All of the rules and details would be specified on the opening post. If a character has died and their player still wants to participate, then they would play in the next game. This can get a bit tricky in some parts, but I'll try to keep PC deaths from occurring early in game. Most deaths would be from PC vs PC and after it has been worked out via OOC or PM - I would not allow unfair playing and if there is a complaint then I'd sort it out.
