Chevaleresse
Saber leapt into the air, barely avoiding the swing of Berserker's blade as he vaulted over him. He took another swing at the rival Servant's unprotected back, though he was anticipating a parry as Berserker turned to follow him.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Berserker turned swiftly, using the momentum to swing the blade again. Once again he used it as a bludgeoning object rather than a real sword, it probably made Saber wonder why he wasn't using some sort of maul or hammer as it would be more effective in the way he fought. Chevaleresse
Saber thought quickly. He didn't even feel those blows. Fighting on further with Naegling will get me nowhere. He dodged backwards, though the end of Berserker's blade scored across his breastplate and knocked him backward a few stumbling steps. He tossed the blade to the side angrily, and it clanged to a halt when it lodged itself in a nearby building. "Alright, fiend, we're done playing around." Saber waited for another reckless swing, this time preparing himself to strike with his fist.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Berserker full on charged Saber this time, dropping his shoulder he ran straight at him, trying to plow him through a nearby Building. He had surprising speed for someone of his size. Nadia gritted her teeth, something was wrong. Why would a Saber class servant toss aside it's sword, isn't that their most powerful weapon? Something let off to her that it wasn't this Saber's particular one, he must have had something else in mind. Nadia let Berserker attack still, figuring there was nothing that could kill him in a single blow that she could stop from happening anyway. rustytengo
Caster and Josh walked out onto the roof of a building over looking the battle site."Well it looks like Berserker is having fun sown there. So Saber was coming at use well its a good thing that we had Berserker to intercept him." Josh said with an amused voice as Saber throw away his sword "Now why would a Saver do that I wonder?" "Master should I support Berserker now or wait a bit?" Caster asked as Berserker started to charge."Wait until we know what Saber is planing then mess him." Chevaleresse
Saber's eyes widened in shock before Berserker crashed into him at full tilt. He hadn't expected that method of attack, and hadn't prepared for it. He was thrown throuh the wall of the building behind them, and finally managed to get back to his feet there. Charging with a roaring battle cry, he burst through the debris and aimed a punch at Berserker's gut, preparing to catch his opponent's arm if he tried to cut at him. Flynn
A man appeared before Hels and company with a rather blasé attitude, yet the magnitude of the situation immediately fell upon Hels. Lancer, however, appeared un-phased. Hels took a small step forward."Rather brazen of you to drop by unannounced this way. I regret to inform you that my company and I are currently involved in some rather pressing matters". Hels was frantically scanning the area. His mind felt fuzzy. He was sure this magic field had something to do with this haze in his mind. Attempting to ignore the feeling, Hels looked for potential hiding spots a person could stow themselves in. "However, I understand you have your own matters and we can respect that. Instead of trying to kill each other, might we not discuss how both of our goals tonight might be met?". He knew there would be no words, he did not expect any form of actual intelligence or cunning from the man before them. However, in terms of raw power, it was obvious what this man was. Hels was glad he made the choice of keeping Lancer at his side. In actuality, Hels was attempting to buy time for Lancer to prepare himself. For all they knew, this man could be any one of Berserker, Archer, Rider. Rider could be expected to pose little threat, while Archer could vary in degree of power from one end of the chart to the other. Berserker, however, would serve as an obvious problem. His eyes turned to Saber's Master. With Saber gone, he was virtually useless. In good tiding to their alliance, which Hels felt he was the only one abiding by, he would protect Saber's master until Saber's return.Hels opened his mouth to speak once more but a large, gloved hand was placed in front of him. Lancer stepped forward. In a tone of seriousness foreign to Hels, Lancer spoke. "You make groundless demands yet offer no scale to balance them. By a knight's code of honour, I ask you. What is your name? If you reveal to me your name, I will be obligated to reveal my own. As for my Master, the right to that information is not with me, nor you". Lancer brought up his hand and started rubbing his neck, his tone then returning to the flat gray it was before. "Or I don't suppose we might settle this with a drink? I'd really avoid pointless petty squabbles. If you'll excuse me, I'd like to believe a respectable man makes his presence known tonight".
Chim
Vincent left the mansion 5 minutes after Hels and Siegfried. He didn’t want to be seen with them yet and took a detour. Assassin stayed in his spirit form the entire time. After a long walk they reached the Bounded Field. As per his instructions Assassin stepped in and out a few times at different places while they walked around it. “How do you feel?” Vincent asked after the fifth time. “The Field feels heavy mentally. If I stay in here for too long I feel like I would lose my mind, Master.” Vincent didn’t like the response. “Alright let’s go to the others. We tested this thing enough and will only go in when necessary.” Assassin bowed and went back into spirit form. The young French master made his way back when Assassin whispered to him. “Master, there is another presence coming from a powerful Servant.” “Go take a look,” Vincent immediately replied. “I’ll go hide myself. Wait until I give further instructions before you do anything else.” “Yes, Master!” Assassin showed his presence for a few seconds before concealing his existence completely. He jumped on a roof and hid behind a chimney. He could see the back of an unknown Servant facing Lancer. Assassin made no movement and didn’t intend to interfere. He wouldn't give away his hiding location so easily.
Sheep
"A very respectable man makes his presence known tonight" replies Archer "his presence, but not his name. You speak of a knight's code of honour, I can respect that. The choice to uphold all that is good and strike down all that is evil, it is a virtuous path. I lived a similar life once though I was bound by nothing but respect for my brothers. I had no code to follow but my own. Therefore if you were to give your name I would likely give my own, but out of gratitude rather than obligation. Unfortunately while you've already stated you have important business here tonight, that was somewhat obvious yet I still interrupted. My own business here is of equal import and cannot be solved by a simple drink. No, the only way my business can be concluded is with the blood of a foe." So saying Archer readies his weapon of choice. Not his bow as this would be a dead giveaway of not only his class but the identity of the man constrained by it. Instead Archer draws a sword, a blade of exquisite make, with a gem encrusted hilt, but ultimately an ordinary sword when compared to the noble phantasms of other servants. "Draw your weapon unknown knight. By the looks of you you're unlikely to be Caster or Assassin, and your capacity for intelligent speech rules out Berserker. So Saber, Lancer, Archer, or Rider. Which will it be I wonder?"
Raindrop Valkyrie
Berserker went for a vicious over head strike. Taking his Claymore into both his hands, he firmly planted his feet as he swung in a down ward arc. He yelled in a murderous rage, a picture of Madness. However, Saber's Fist met his midriff, this time, stopping the giant. He winced in pain and took a step back. Berserker Roared loudly "Y...y...you DIE!!!" he shouted angry as could be. He continued his assault swinging the sword wildly. It was clear to a swordsmen of Saber's caliber that Berserker was trying to keep him at the length of the sword now, and there was just a hint of calculation in his swing. 'He is just as dangerous, if not more so Unarmed......interesting, not many a Saber could boast that." Nadia thought to herself. She poured over any legend she could remember with a Saber that powerful in unarmed combat. "I wonder....." "You are an interesting one Saber, however....I am sorry to say, I think I have you figured out. Shehehe." Nadia said.
Chevaleresse
Saber continued to dodge the swings, noticing the brute's strategy and ignoring the Master's comments for the time being. A massive, heavy sword like that took a lot of energy to move, and even so it didn't move quickly. He watched Berserker, noting the rhythm of his swings. Immediately after the frontswing of the claymore finished, Saber charged inward, throwing his mass and brute strength into Berserker as he grabbed at the other Servant's arm, intending to disarm him one way or another. Raindrop Valkyrie
Berserker dropped the sword there was no way to swing it at a target this close, and leveled his other fist directly towards Saber's head. He winced in pain again as Saber collided with him, however he kept his attack going still aiming a big meaty fist towards Saber. "Oh, I KNOW!! You are Beowulf aren't you? Only Saber I can think of that would have such brute strength physically, after all you did tear Grendal's arm from it's socket did you not?" Nadia shouted, trying to make sure Saber could hear her. What the servant didn't know was it was just an educated guess, Nadia really didn't know for sure. However, it was one of the few legends that fit the description, so she thought, why knot ((have to spell it that way....freaking EMOTE...)) see if she could get a rise out of Saber. rustytengo
"Caster its time to join the fray." Josh said with a grin Caster just smiled and took a step off the roof but instead of falling a magic sigil appeared under her acting like a solid platform. She smile a she walked almost skipping the silgil appearing with each step tell she stopped above the entangled combatants. Grinning this time she holds out her hand, with a slight movement downwards a large stone seemly coming out of nowhere flies at Sabers head.Knowing that it was much heavier then it size would indicate. Caster grinned even more as she heard Nadia's claim at Sabers identity. Knowing full well a name is a major gain for her in this fight. (the stone is from witch hunt in which stones were used to crush people at times)
Chevaleresse
Saber elected to take the hit and allow it to throw him backward, safely out from under the stone. He crashed through the building a second time, idly wondering how it was going to remain standing if this battle continued. As he slowly recovered, wincing at the blow he had taken, he considered his tactics. Monsters attack when they sense weakness. Fighting in open space will also not do if I am outnumbered. I'll lure the brute in here, then strike when he rushes in blindly.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Berserker held his ground for now looking at the rubble where Saber flew through the wall again. He was about to start moving, when Nadia yelled "Stop!" He froze in place quickly "Don't go after him Berserker." Berserker gave a curt nod, acknowledging Nadia's words, though begrudgingly. "Käfig des Wahnsinns" Nadia chanted. A jet black box formed in the gap in the wall, it started out as a box, but it conformed to the space quickly. It would have sealed the hole. "Caster dear, you think you can make this building fall down? Or will I have to it it myself? Bah, why wait? Erweitern." with that word...the box began to expand, and started to crack the walls. Nadia intended to bring the building down on top of Saber. Why go into an already collapsing building to find your target, when you can just kill them with the building? ((Nadia is pretty smart, so I am sure she saw just how damaged the building was, considering Saber and Berserker have both flown through it like twice XD. And nope still no Rage activation, you good man.))
Chevaleresse
Saber heard the building groan as someone cast some sort of magic on it. Looking toward the hole he had left in the wall, he saw it was blocked by some sort of dark void. As he wasn't about to spend time looking for a nearby exit, he simply lowered his shoulder and ran toward the wall facing away from the darkness, blasting through a few of them before emerging into the street. I must withdraw. Caster and Berserker took me by surprise, and my Master is likely in danger. Saber dashed down the street behind the building, moving toward his Master as quickly as possible. Raindrop Valkyrie
"Hmm, figures. Leave him go Berseker, no need to reengage." Nadia said as the building collapsed, it was clear it didn't smash Saber. Nadia could see him fleeing in the distance. "I have a feeling he is retreating to his alliance. Not sure if you are aware but the MA have one in this war. I think this Saber is one, since there is no way a servant would attack us this early unless they had somebody backing them up. There is no way to know, but it is safe to assume so. As to what the other servants under their employ are, I have no idea, so it best not to follow him since they could have Archer, and we would be at a severe disadvantage. Their other Servants could be Assassin, Archer, Rider, and Lancer. 2 out of those 4 are not fun in an ambush and they could have both. let's not chance it for now." Flynn
Lancer let loose a sigh, quiet enough to where Hels barely heard him. He shook his head. "You claim to hold respect, yet the words you speak demand otherwise. I had hoped I would have the pleasure of doing battle with a man or woman of honour". Lancer took a stance, placing his body sideways with one hand behind him as if holding a sword behind him, the other hand outstretched. "You wish for blood, yet let me show one more attempt at respectful peace. My name is Flavius Aetius of Rome, and I now ask your name". Hels barely hid his shock. It was a beautiful lie. Flavius was a Roman general, of which wielding a sword, lance, and dagger were common practice. In one line, Lancer managed to slip past two barricades, being revealing his name and his Class, while also managing to stop his enemy from predicting his Class. Alongside this, he met the requirements his opponent demanded for revealing his own name. With this, Hels might be able to predict who his opponent was. It was a good turn of events that Lancer was so bland in his speech, so the lie sounded like every other sentence he spoke."If you still require blood, I will meet you. However, in this case, I have a question. What will it be? Sword, spear, or knife?".
rustytengo
"Really? The MA actually put an alliance together, I wonder how long that will last?. Your right though Nadia it would be a bad idea to fallow him. Caster sensed a few more people entering the field after you left our meeting. Master's by her guess though she didn't sense any other servants so it would be bad to run straight towards them." Josh said with a smile as he walked down the fire escape of the building he was on earlier. "Though how about we watch them instead. Caster." Josh said with a nod to Caster. Caster started to chant a spell once more bringing the broken pieces of glass from the building together. Forming them in sot a complete circle. With the end of the chant mist formed in the glass clearing away to show a fleeing Saber. "Well now we can see who his master is at least and the other one as well." Josh said a with a grin. Sheep
Archer's features distort in anger at the mention that he was not worthy of this servant's respect. "You insult me servant. The fact that I do not live by a knight's code of conduct does not leave me devoid of honour. But you confuse me, first you speak of yourself as a knight and now I am to believe you are a Roman general? If you truly are Flavius Aetius then I'm disappointed, I'm here to fight skilled warriors rather than famous generals. But if you are the honourable knight that you would have me believe then you would not lie to me, so either you've been deceiving me from the start or Flavius Aetius is not your typical honourless Roman." After saying such Archer regains his composure and his facial features quickly return to the lazy grin that he is so often seen wearing. "But you have done me a service in naming yourself, as dubious as that act may be. Even if you are a filthy liar your actions do not excuse me from my own path of conduct. Perhaps once I name myself you will have a better opinion of me. You stand before true royalty here tonight Flavius, I am Arjuna Pandava, 3rd prince of Hastinapura and a being well removed from the league of Flavius Aetius. If you don't understand your predicament already you soon will, choose whichever weapon you are strongest with, I wish to kill you at your best. Don't keep me waiting though, I don't have all night." With that Archer glances at the second master here. "Now that they know who I am the second servant will be returning shortly. Preserving the life of an allied servant is far more important than whatever their business in there is. I'd like to kill Flavius before the second one returns" he thought to himself. Flynn
Lancer pushed off the venom spat at him with a literal gesture of waving it way. "You have my apologies, prince. History often confuses truth with matters of honor. I was defeated by a ruling empire, and they often say the victor writes history. In Rome, a general is as he is a knight, he simply yells much more often. However, you do surprise me. For such a composed fellow, your words grew empty and poisonous rather swiftly. You say you are not bound by the code of chivalry yet you take it rather seriously. This is a war, prince. I fight a war with honour, but there is honour in many things, including the venom of man. I had to see if the enemy before me was competent enough to create a consideration through my words. I am no fool, and I will not let chivalry be the death of me before my promise is kept". Lancer kept his stance, yet took the time to reach into his back pocket. He opened a small pouch containing garlic cloves, then popped one into his mouth. Lancer visibly relaxed yet kept his bearings. "So, I can only hope you will understand my need to test you. However, lest you forget, I did not come here to fight you, you came here to fight me". Sheep
"Hah" laugh's Archer "letting chivalry be the death of them is the mark of every knight of honour. I have given you more than enough time to draw your weapon, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth but if you refuse to fight then you will simply die all the quicker." So saying Archer closes the gap between the two in less than a second and jabs his sword forward, aiming for his opponent's heart.
Flynn
Lancer's eyes narrowed into a piercing stare. He could feel his own blood lust rising immensely. Just as his opponent jettisoned towards him, Lancer threw himself backwards and thrust his arm forward. Within an instant, an absolutely massive lance which dwarfed the even the towering Lancer appeared in his hand, covered by dozens of steel rivets. Alongside this, the lance was covered in a coat of hazy fire. He gripped the lance closer to the tip to make up for the close quarters. Lancer thrust his behemoth lance at the torso of his opponent in a strike that could be deemed impossibly fast for such a gargantuan weapon. Considering the size of the lance, going beneath it was impossible. Lancer had purposely baited his opponent. First by angering him, and then by forcing his hand to be the first strike. The size and speed of thrusting Luin might take him by surprise. Alongside this, when Lancer thrust his lance, three feet of invisible blade would sprout from the tip. Sheep
The grin didn't leave Archer's face as his opponent materialized a gargantuan spear. He had expected something along these lines to happen, no servant would willingly die without a fight, though he hadn't expected the weapon to be quite this... big. The thrust was fast but Archer is faster. Just as he's thinking he should have no trouble dodging it he feels an impact on his breastplate. That catches the servant by surprise, there looks to be a good three feet left to go before reaching the tip of his opponent's spear but something is hitting his armour. Through a combination of natural talent, the teachings of a master, and a lifetime of combat experience Archer is able to avoid the worst of even this surprise attack, though it still leaves him wounded and his armour rent. Archer's momentum is too great to stop now and so instead of retreating backwards he races past the servant with a light flick of his sword arm to keep his opponent's spear busy as he does so. "That's more like it Lancer. It's a neat trick you've got there, I think I understand it but it begs confirmation." After his wound is healed and his armour restored Archer moves in again. "The only way to beat a spear is to get inside its range" thinks Archer "though that may be more difficult than I'd first thought. I don't expect him to just let me in." Flynn
Lancer's eyes and body followed his opponent. He had faced opponents far faster than himself before, and those with much better sword arms. However, Lancer was no fool to simply assume there were no more tricks in the bag. After his opponent raced past him and engaged again, Lancer ducked low, swinging his titanic, ten foot lance in a sweeping circle. His opponent was close, moving backwards to avoid the attack would be almost ensuring losing your legs, yet Lancer realized his opponent might very well jump above him.The flames covering the lance seemed to dance as the lance moves, almost with a mind of their own.Even as Lancer fought, the flames grew stronger.
