Ragnar
Ixidor nodded at Edward as he listen to his advice. The boy looks at the group for the last time before entering the portal and was in disbelief that he is supposed to team-up with an enigmatic man wielding a sword, a snake that is holding bazooka, a girl that seems to be having difficulty in using her powers just yet and not to mention the trigger-happy robbers of this place. Not the ideal team he had in mind... but meh its whatever, maybe this will work out in the end. If that what it takes to rescue my friends and getting out of this place.. then so be it. Ixidor draws a jet pack from his sketchpad and poof! out comes a jet pack on his back. The boy enters the portal with style as he rocketed himself inside and avoids the ground at all cost, cause you know.. the bank's security system and trap doors can be a bitch just like Edward warned them. Rosesong
All Groups As the group from the slums exited the bathroom that they had entered, an alarm began to sound, while bright red lights flashed all around them. "Intruders have infiltrated the bank," came the voice from earlier via a loud speaker. "All security are asked to help manage this problem swiftly." Each of the robbers reacted quickly, and in the same way. Placing down those that they had been carrying, François more gently than Bonnie and Clyde, they each ran in opposite directions, leaving those among the living alone to decide how they were going to react to the fact that they were now being hunted down in the bank. Meanwhile, Rose was just about to scream some curses at Ethic for deciding that leaving her and the others with the murderer was a great idea when Gestas' voice came over all of their walkie-talkies. "You have work to do, hurry to it. I certainly don't want to have to deal with this," came the impatient, patronizing voice of their boss. "Don't disappoint me, or else." Kenny Morgana gave another dry chuckle. "How cute, you're trying to play logistics. Unfortunately for you, your judgment was made based on what's in your heart." The sorceress flicked her wrist lazily, and several books flew off the shelves this time, pages flipping wildly and surrounding Kenny, circling him furiously. The computers began to project their information into the air. "You're greedy for knowledge. Now, you must pay the price."
K_H
What Morgana played into with her actions was Kenny's simplicity, ingenuity, and quick reactions in a tense and inescapable situation. Kenny simply walked closer to Morgana, trying to get close enough so that if she kept on making books orbit around him, she'd get hit by them. As he approached her, he spoke. "Sometimes, what is in the head is more important than what is in the heart, as you yourself should very well know, since you were a powerful sorceress at one point. Emphasis on were, since you're nothing more than Gestas' slave now. Oh, how the mighty have fallen... and can rise again, as I have done. Relinquish your loyalty to Gestas, and you can have the entire Circle under your control, instead of however much he promised you." CURIE
Crap, they've set off some sort of alarm! Edward had been hoping this wouldn't happen, he had figured that if he transported them right into the heart of the bank they would avoid setting anything off. But nope, someone, somewhere, had the idea to monitor the restrooms. Then again, the floor had the ability to seemingly create trapdoors, so maybe an alert system was omnipresent? AUGH, he's getting sidetracked again! Okay, so alarms have been triggered. What do now? The way the thieves are running off in separate directions, it seems like they have a plan. Should he catch up to them? He's more than fast enough, after all. No, he just told them, he had to stay behind so that the portal doesn't auto-close and lock everyone in. He hopped back through the rift, back into the slums. Just him, Prometheus, and bossy girl now. "Hey, I suggest you two either get in or get out of sight. You know, in case any unfriendlies come through." With that, he scaled the nearest building and dove through the topmost window. Looking down from there, he had a thought: What if he could make some sort of death trap, in case of enemies finding their way back here?
