JapaneseWallpaper
So, i'm a god-fearing person, and i know that Adrienn is going to be a real asshole to fight. Anyway, i was thinking, what do you guys recommend training for him. I'm not sure if i should train Nidoqueen as a special attacker, or Klinklang/ Magnezone as Hardy uses rock types(?), and is up soon. Any opinions? Sparky
I'd say Magnezone, due to it's typing. Super Effective against Fairy, Flying, Water, and Rock
JapaneseWallpaper
yeah, i was thinkning that, as well as it gets Flash Cannon via level up. But usually Rock types are duel with ground, so i'd be expecting some Earthquakes. (AIR BALLOON IS USEFUL FOR ONCE)

Wow, I did not realize that Magnezone is a good pokemon for a good chunk of the last few gym leaders' types. Whelp, guess my shiny one will be my first priority to train (I just hope the custom shiny will look as cool as the other two evos, when it's made). Etesian
Go for the beast that is Durant. With Hustle, the thing's essentially got 190 Base Attack. It's movepool is nothing to scoff at either, it gets Steel, Bug, Electric, Ground, Dark and (in E12 or earlier) Rock moves.
Deleted User
Just a side note. Adrienn does prefer the non-binary pronouns. Aggron could be pretty useful too probably. I'd expect to see a Klefki, or less likely a Mawile so a fire pokemon should be included against xyr.

Thanks to both of you, 4/6 of the pokemon are physical attackers, so i may go for a magnezone, but thanks for the tips everyone!

Actually, Fairy types are far more special bulky than they are physically. Mawile is the only Fairy which has noticeably more physical than special defense, but that's hardly a threat. Chase
Pokemon I would expect to see xym have are: Klefki - I'm not sure how aggressive Adrienn will play with it yet, but I would be be pleasantly shocked if it doesn't carry Swagger and Foul Play. I most certainly do expect xym to use it as a lead, so a Fire type lead is a probable counter. Azumarill Gardevoir Sylveon -or- Florges Togekiss Whimsicott -or- Clefable -or- Mawile By this point in your journey, I would expect for the field effect to be the most concerning part of the battle, as opposed to xyr's team. We're no longer starved for options anymore.
ArthurZH
I'm under the impression that the mist in the Coral Ward was due to Adrienn's gym being crumbled, so it leaked out. So I guess we're battling him in permanent Misty Terrain. Get the smoggers
Bessi
nidoking(sheer force)and magnezone are monsters against the fairy type
JapaneseWallpaper
nidoking(sheer force)and magnezone are monsters against the fairy type Yeah, Nidoking/ Queen spamming Sludgewave would be greatly effective against most fairys. Bessi
Yeah, Nidoking/ Queen spamming Sludgewave would be greatly effective against most fairys. they even have earth power to ko klefki/mawile if Adrienn has one of them you can even teach nidoking/queen flamethrower since you got it from Charlotte.i think the fairy gym will be a piece of cake, unless Ame uses her demonic mind to create a field effect that will turn the tables around. Sarun
I don't think Klinklang should even be a choice, to be honest. He's pretty inferior to Magnezone as his defensive stats are worse, his moves are spread out between physical and special, his Sp.Atk is considerably lower, and not to mention that he doesn't even have STAB from his electric typing. Though yeah, you'll probably need a poison or steel mon in case to counter xyr single types. I can see that xe will probably use Florges and Klefki, and may have an Azurill, a Togekiss, a M. Gardevoir, or a M. Mawile, so most definitely bring in a Nido with Ground moves for the Steel/Fairy mons and switch out for Magnezone if xe brings out Azurill, Togekiss, or Gardevoir. So yeah, I'll say a Nidoking/Nidoqueen along with a Magnezone should be enough from xem as at the moment there are very few type combinations for Fairy-mons, constricting Adrienn's potential line-up.
