saltwater
Hey there guys Whilst waiting for episode 14 to come out I've decided to upgrade my team massively, full ev trained and even dabbling with breeding. I currently have prob 30-40 pokemon around level 70 so Im not going list them all but I no 4 which are definately making it into my reg team. I just need help selecting my final members who do you guys suggest? Current team: Gengar [Levitate] Mild nature Lvl 74 252 spa evs 252 speed 4 spdef Hypnosis Nightmare Dream Eater Shadow ball Noivern [infiltrate] Modest nature Lvl 74 252 Spa 252 Speed 4 spdef Tailwind Flamethrower Dragon Pulse Roost Sylveon [pixilate] Modest Lvl 74 252hp 252 spa 4 def Swagger Moonblast Calm mind Draining kiss Umbreon [synchronize] sassy lvl 74 252hp 152 def 100 spdef Moonlight assurance Dark pulse swagger Edit: I'm willing to change any poke's listed too, Im looking for the optimal set up. At the minute I'm considering having my team as: Gengar, Cradily, Umbreon, Sylveon, Swampert amd Emboar. Any ideas guys? Edit 2: Maybe running a trick room set on with the latter due to low speeds? Nova
Please edit your posts instead of doubletriple-posting next time, thank you ^^ You might want to add something that can resist Ice, as none of your current selections resist it and Noivern has big trouble with it, even with Flamethrower. A suggestion would be a bulky Water type such as Quagsire or Swampert. Running Trick Room is possible, but you have to revolve your entire team around it. Doing so with the current team would cripple Gengar (to some extent) and especially Noivern, since it relies on its Speed so much. Your current members are quite balanced out, so the only question is which ones to add. Note that all Gyms which are weak to Grass have yet to come, so packing a Grass type or something that gets Solarbeam/Energy Ball would be very nice. saltwater
Sorry Cheers bro I was thinking about just that I'm currently looking at intergrating cradily and swampert as I feel it balances the types out in my team, the only trouble I'm having is deciding on the nature and evs of my swampert. He seems pretty tanky naturally but I already have a super tanky team, umbreon cradily and and sylveon can take hits all day. Any thought on his setup and or maybe someone to substitute his place in the team?
AnimeFg
That gengar can use a lot of work. You might want thunderbolt, sludge bomb, destiny bond, and shadow ball instead. You can get tbold and sbomb if you go back to episode 12 with grimer+stunfisk>gastly other than that, it's pretty solid
saltwater
Where is the tm for thunderbolt as gengar can't learn it via breeding?
Sonikku
As of now, there is no TM for T-Bolt. Gengar can learn it via breeding, but only with post gen 6 mechanics. So if you want to breed T-bolt to Gengar, you would have to breed (Stunfisk>Gengar. If you also want Sludge Bomb It can be Muk>Stunfisk>Gengar) on an episode post E13 as 13 has the new mechanics. saltwater
so are you saying I have to wait till episode 14 before this becomes a viable option? I tried breeding a muk with sludge bomb onto a stunfisk and he didn't learn it. The Muk was male and the stunfisk was female(obv) muk had no other moves that were passed down. I did however have an everstone on the muk (to influence nature) does this maybe effect the bred moves? AnimeFg
No, go back to episode 12 by putting the episode 12 updates into your reborn folder, then do the breeding, and re update to 13 and do whatever.
Deleted User
Yeah Sonic sort of typo'd there. Be careful when reverting to old episodes, it's not recommended that you do that, but if you do, back up your save file before hand. If you also want Sludge Bomb It can be Muk>Stunfisk>Gengar) on an episode pre E13 as 13 has the new mechanics.
saltwater
Cheers guys! I'm just going leave it after all Gengar will get thunderbolt when the tm becomes available in later episodes, I'll just stick to one of my other sweepers untl then.
