two questions

so my first question is im trying to update my reborn launcher from episode 11 to episode 13 when i download it i get this internet explorer hyperlink that when i try to open it, because it does not give me the option to unzip it, it just opens an infinite amount of internet explorer windows until i turn my computer off and on again. i tried the second miror mega and my google chrome browser stoped the download because it said it was a malicious file

my second question is im stuck on the chess themed gym leader, cant remember his name, but i cann not beat him for the life of he i can get his first four pokemon down but when it comes to his gardevoir and his squid thing he just mops the floor with me and ive tried multiple combonations of pokemon having ground for several hours getting my different teams to a high enough level where they can be usefull in the gym battle and i just keep getting walked all over and its getting really frustrating. anyone with knoledge of either questions or both questions please respon at your earliest convenience please and thank you

edit: and i just tried the third mirror filedropper and i get no data received so the only one that has given me anything is the gamefront mirror and that one still doesnt work, any suggestions?

The first question is more suited for the Troubleshooting forum, but I think it's okay for the time being seeing as you had multiple questions.

I don't know the specifics of your downloading issues and without more information I don't know how much I can help you. Perhaps Amethyst or Dan can help though.

ive been surfing trying to find a troubleshooting for 13 but i cant seem to find one so this will have to do, i tried all 3 mirrors for episode 13, im still on episode 11, and the only one that gave me an actual download was the game front one but i go to my downloads and its an internet explorer link, and if i try to pen it with internet explorer it infinitely opens explorer windows untill i turn my computer on and off, so i suppose my question is, how do i update to 13 if the mirrors dont give me what i need to update? or how do i get the one link that worked to update my game, to a drag the file into the reborn file and into a subfile or......?

To update you can simply delete your old Pokemon Reborn Folder as the save file isn't actually stored there. Alternatively you can rename that current folder to something like 'Reborn 11' and then keep the newer one as well. The Save file is kept somewhere else completely different so deleting the old one is irrelevant.

i just tried again, both deleting and attempting to download the mirrors to get episode 13 and that didn't work so i recovered my original reborn folder and renamed it and tried to download the file through the mirrors again and it doesn't work, something with the mirrors has to be screwed up because iv tried at least a dozen times and all i get from the mirrors is an internet explorer icon that says pokemonreborn 13-2.zip and i cant unzip it and if i try to launch it i get an infinite number of windows opening and closing until either my computer crashes or i turn it off, this has got me flustered, i think this game is incredibly fun but now i don't know if its worth all this aggravation to try and update it so i can keep the story going because it clearly doesn't work. do you have any other suggestions on how i go about obtaining an updated pokemon reborn launcher short of finding a friend who has the game and having them email a copy of their launcher so i can play the updated product?

Dude if u can get a Shelmet from Azurine island u can trade it in Spinel town for na Escavalier thats an easy poke to sweep him if he sets up trick room on the first turn he can take any of hes pokes and G.Garevoir is weak to steel type damage and the Malamar is 4x weak to bug damage so just lvl him up u get x scissor and stel head i think and with trick room u will be the fastes poke there cuz Escavalier is slow as a snail (get it )... Hope that helps

Save file "corrupt" [FIXED] <- Check that out if no one can fix your save file.

ive tried every method under the sun to get pokemon reorn episode 13 and in going through internet explorer and mozilla i have only succeeded in causeing my computer the blue screen of death several times, so until i can find a friend who plays this game and has episode 13 and can email me a copy of the launcher so i can be up to date im done, this game was amazing, has an incredible story very challengeing but very rewarding for said challenge but its not worth jeprodizing my computers health to play it so thanks to the developers of this game for making one of the best pokemon hacks out there, i will play untill the end of 11 or until i can somehow get ahold of the 13 launcher that is not the mirrors because they just flat out dont work for me at all and it stinks, thank ou to those who provided me with the best advice they could offer, have a nice night or day depending on where you are and happy thanksgiving

You can also use Speed Boost Scolipede. This thing won't even give Randomus the chance to use Trick Room. The only problem with this plan is Mega Horn's accuracy... >.>

Basically, this pokemon has the chance to take out at least Exeggcutor and Malamar. It could take out more, though. :3 Just make sure to have a partner who's at least ready to fight a Metagross off. And if it's HP gets too low, you can always baton pass your speed to another pokemon, though just a warning that this thing could get taken out pretty quick.

The malicious file thing is something new with Chrome... what you need to do is go into your settings and uncheck "Enable phishing and malware protection". Only, remember to check it again when your download is finished~ As Reborn has never come with a free virus in the past, I'm kind of doubting it will now. That might help make Mega work for you?

As for Radomus (there is no n please stop doing this to me), I'd recommend a Dark-type of some sort. Drapion in particular doesn't mind Gardevoir's Moonblasts too much, and gets a nice Crunch via level up. I've also been pointed to Escavalier a few times, and while I haven't used it against him, I can see why it'd laugh at Trick Room (dat base 20 Speed) + it doesn't mind Psychic/Rock chess attacks in the slightest.

Get a Durant. It can work solo and beat Radomus, Radomus's daughter, Radomus's butler, Radomus's butler's apprentice etc
