Well, it's been out for a week or two all over the world, and I finally got it a week later. I remember when I played my first Pokemon game in 3rd Grade... Pokemon Sapphire. It brings back memories of playing that, just at the mention of Alpha Sapphire. Unfortunately, somebody stole my Sapphire game (Or I lost it, I don't know), so now I am looking for another 3rd Gen game (Emerald...) Anyways, at least Alpha Sapphire will make up for that! Many years later, I am now a senior in high school, and am ready to revisit Hoenn as a man. Years later, and Hoenn needs a hero. And that hero... is me.

Chapter I: Prologue

It all started when Professor Birch introduced me to the wonderful world of Pokemon, after witnessing an amazing intro of the game. The beginning brings back memories... Literally. However, the screen zooms out from the old familiar style of Ruby and Sapphire, and I gaze at the wonderful improved world Alpha Sapphire has to offer, as it shows me all sorts of Pokemon outside of the moving truck I'm currently trapped in. Professor Birch then asks me if I'm a boy or a girl through two pictures on my odd device. I am obviously a guy, so I pick the picture on the left. He asks me for my name, which my name is Trevor (Just for old time's sake). He is surprised, as he knows me, because I am moving to Littleroot Town, where he lives. He then asks me if I'm ready, and tells me that my adventure is about to unfold. The back doors of the truck open, as he says that he'll meet me in my lab. My device flips into a map, so I pretty much already have a map (No need to get one!) Before I get out of the truck, I interact with a few things, such as an Azurill doll, which has a familiar smell... Probably because Mom and Dad used it or something, I don't know. I then exit the truck, and look up into the sky...

When I look up into the sky, my mom spots me, and is happy that I'm here at last. Where the heck were you, Mom? Were you in a Pokemon battle with dad or something? So much for taking care of your dang kid... She asks me if it was tough riding in the back of the bumpy moving truck all that way. Of COURSE it was, you cold-hearted witch! If you were here the entire time, why couldn't I just sit in the front seat? Or better yet, sit in your dang car with you? She then says that this is Littleroot Town. She tells me that it is going to be our new home. She says that it has a quaint feel, but it looks like it should be a nice place to live. Yeah, and I'll just leave on a journey shortly, so who cares? She even tells me that I'll get my own room this time! Where the heck was I sleeping BEFORE?! Was I sleeping in the same room as you and Dad while you two were having your 'Pokemon battles'?! SERIOUSLY! She then wants to show me the inside of the house, so we go inside.

When we head inside, I see two Machokes unpacking boxes and other various things. Mom asks me if it's nice in here, too, and tells me that the moving company's Pokemon even help with the unpacking and cleanup, and that they really make moving a cinch. Unpacking and cleaning up what? I bet you had a lot of fun unpacking with them, mom. SHEESH! Anyway, one of the Machoke show up, and tells mom that they're done with the unpacking. She thanks the Machoke for all the hard work, and that we really appreciate it. We then move out of the way for the Machoke to leave. I'm surprised Pokemon are smart enough to even use a door. Mom then tells me that I should go and see my new room upstairs, and also tells me that dad even bought a new clock for it to help celebrate the big move. She tells me that I'll need to set the time... Which means that I have to set it EXACTLY RIGHT.

I go into my new room, and find a black Wii U instead of a Gamecube. I also turn on the TV, which has a program that Mom might like... I'm just gonna get going, then... I go over to my bed, and actually sit on it, which is a first. I go over to my notebook, which just has some basic things. I then go over to my clock... which isn't moving. Lucky for me, I can automatically set the time, which is GREAT. After I set the time, Mom pops into my room, and asks me how I like my new room. She's impressed that everything is put away neatly, and tells me that they finished moving everything in downstairs, too. She remarks how it really is so nice having Pokemon around to help us. Yeah... More like help you... Anyway, she tells me to make sure that everything's all there on my desk. She heads downstairs, and I check my desk.

I head downstairs, and Mom screams at me to get my attention. She tells me to come quick, and also says that it's the Petalburg Gym, and that maybe Dad will be on TV. Unfortunately, the report is already past, and instead prepares to talk about a special look at a long-awaited meteor shower in the next star show... Hmm... I wonder when that meteor shower will happen? Mom turns off the TV, and is disappointed that it already ended. She tells me that he was probably on, but we missed his part. She also tells me that one of Dad's friends lives in this town, and that Professor Birch is his name. She tells me that he lives right next door, so I should go over and introduce myself.

I go to Professor Birch's house next door, and his wife turns around confused. She walks up to me and asks me who I am, and I introduce myself. She is delighted to see me, and tells me that they have a daughter about the same age as me. She tells me that she has been so excited about making a new friend. That excited, huh? My goodness... She tells me that she should be in her room upstairs, and hopes I'll go and introduce myself.

When I go upstairs... HOLY CRAP, A GIRL! AND SHE'S PRETTY, TOO! Anyways... When I go upstairs, I find that she's already finished changing, and getting ready. She gets finished getting ready, and is surprised to see me up here. Her jaw drops, and wonders who I am. She then closes her eyes, and thinks, nodding her head. She realizes who I am, and introduces herself as May. She tells me that she has this dream of becoming friends with Pokemon all over the world, and then when her Dad--err, Professor Birch, told her about me moving here, she was hoping I would be nice and we could be friends. But she realizes that that's silly. She tells me that she just met me, and so what is she talking about... IT IS NOT SILLY! I'LL BE YOUR FRIEND!!! She then blushes, but realizes that she was supposed to be going out to help her dad catch some wild Pokemon! So, she'll see me later. She then leaves, and so do I, but not before checking her stuff like the creep that I am. I watch the TV, but it's on a program Dad might like... OKAY THEN...

I head outside and follow May like a stalker, but only to hear the sound of a man screaming for help. I then see Professor Birch being chased by a Poochyena. He notices me as he is cornered, really closely if I might add, and begs me to help him. He tells me that in his bag, there are some Poke Balls. I go over to his bag, and choose. From left to right, there's Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip. I've been planning for a while now, so I know who to choose.

I'm going to choose... Treecko!

The battle then begins, and I send out Treecko. Lucky for me, Treecko knows Absorb already, so have Treecko use that. While Poochyena keeps using Tackle, Treecko just Absorbs Poochyena's health. Eventually, Poochyena is down for the count, and I win the battle!

Professor Birch is relieved, and says that he went into the tall grass to survey wild Pokemon when he was suddenly jumped. He is grateful I saved his hide, and thanks me. He realizes that I'm Norman's boy, Trevo, and says that he didn't even realize who I was at first. He remarks that I've grown into quite the young man. However, this isn't the place for a chat, though, and he invites me to come along to his lab.

We head into the lab, and Professor Birch is excited. He tells me that he's heard so much about me from my father, but he said that I didn't have my own Pokemon yet. He tells me that if that's true, then that was quite the performance back there! He tells me that I really am my father's son, and says that as thanks for rescuing him out there, he'll give me the Treecko I used earlier to save him! I give the cool gecko the nickname Sebastian. I like giving my Pokemon proper names. Plus, I'll consider it a shout out to a friend of mine I play Super Smash Bros Melee with at school. After I name Treecko Sebastian, Professor Birch says that if I work with my Pokemon and gain experience, he says I'll make a pretty excellent Trainer. He tells me that his girl, May, happens to be out on Route 103 right now, surveying Pokemon for him, and says that it might not be a bad idea for me to head out that way myself. Well of COURSE I want to see her! She's so dang pretty! Professor Birch is pleased, and says that he's sure that May'll be happy to hear that, too. He tells me that she can help teach me what it means to be a Trainer. What KIND of Trainer, is the better question. He also tells me that if I'm ever lost along the way, I should use the AreaNav on my PokeNav Plus! So THAT'S what this odd device is! He tells me that I can use it to see how to get to Route 103, where May ought to be. He says that if me or my Pokemon get tired, then I should get some rest back at my new house.

After I get my first Pokemon, I head on out to Route 101! I battle a wild Pokemon on my way, and Sebastian grows to level 6! When I finally head to Oldale Town, an employee from the Poke Mart shows up and greets me. He makes the assumption that I'm a novice Trainer, and being super kindhearted as he is, he's going to give me useful advice. He shows me the Poke Mart first, which is the building with the blue roof. They sell a variety of goods, including Poke Balls for catching Pokemon! He then says that he'd like me to have a few potions as part of a special promotion. If I got the Dual Pack, I'd be getting 100 of these... But oh well! He tells me that potions can be used anytime, so they can be very useful to have. He then shows me the Pokemon Center, which is the building with the red roof. He tells me to ask a woman inside, and she'll restore my Pokemon's health. He then concludes his advice, and wishes me a great journey before heading back to the Poke Mart.

Bless that super kindhearted employee.

I go into the Poke Mart to buy some Poke Balls, but when I ask the clerk, they don't have any! Lying jerk... Guess I'll have to wait until later. I head to Route 103, and find May looking out into the distant mountains. Lucky me, it's a sunset! That means there will be a romantic moment! She also looks into a puddle... Which looks like the same one from the intro! She goes over what kinds of Pokemon she found on Route 103, and is surprised when she finds me behind her. She's delighted to find that I got a Pokemon as a gift, and then decides to have a quick battle. She says that she'll give me a taste of what being a Trainer is REALLY like. I'm not sure if I should take that as kinky or not...

Dangit, May... You ruined a perfect romantic moment with your wish to battle. But if it's a battle you want... It's a battle you'll get!

May sends out Torchic, while I send out Sebastian. KILL THE FURRY! Sebastian uses Pound, while Torchic uses Scratch. Eventually, I have to give Sebastian a potion, but oh well. Eventually, Sebastian Pounds Torchic a few more times, and after one more Pound, Torchic is out, and Sebastian grows to level 7! With May's Torchic knocked out, I win the battle!

May is impressed, and says that I'm pretty good. She says it was a good battle, and thanks me for it. She then takes the liberty of healing both of our Pokemon. She is amazed, and says that she thinks that she knows why her dad has his eye on me now. She says that I just got Sebastian, and I've already got that strong of a bond, which means that I could probably befriend any kind of Pokemon I meet! She then says that she better head back to the lab, and heads back to the lab. I follow her, but she stops me at Oldale Town before she continues onward. I follow her, and I head back to the lab.

When I enter the lab, I see May standing next to her father, and he tells me that he heard that I beat May on my first try. He tells me that May's been helping with his research for a long time, so she has a pretty long history as a Trainer already. He then gets in a happy mood, and tells me that he ordered a Pokedex for his research, but he says that I should take it. He gives me the Pokedex, and tells me that Pokedex is a high-tech tool that automatically makes a record of any Pokemon I meet or catch. He says that his girl May takes hers with her everywhere she goes, and that whenever she catches a rare Pokemon and records its data in the Pokedex, why, she comes to seek him out whenever he is in the field and shows him! He gets excited about the Pokemon and people I will meet, and the great expanse of nature that lies before me. He tells me to experience them both while I fill in my Pokedex, and that he'd love it if my world seemed wider than ever. He also says that he'd love it even more if I came back from time to time to show him what progress I've made. He gets excited again, and says that he's getting the itch to get out and do fieldwork again. May comes up to me, and is happy that I have a Pokedex, too, just like her. She then says that she'll give me something too... Oh my gosh... OH MY GOSH! PLEASE tell me what I think it is! She then gives me some balls. Poke Balls, to be specific. Dang it! I wanted something else, not your balls, May! Then again, I need Poke Balls... She says that I can use them to catch Pokemon, and tells me that if I catch a Pokemon in the wild and battle together with it for a while, it will grow stronger for me! She tells me to take that as a bit of advice from a more experienced Trainer like her. Umm... I just beat you, you know... She then says that she's going to get ready to head out from Littleroot soon herself. TAKE ME WITH YOU!!! She says that she can't wait to see what kind of Pokemon she's going to meet, and tells me that we should both do our best on our journeys.

Yay!!!! May gave me 10 balls! Isn't she sweet? I leave the lab, and set out for my adventure. Until... My MOM shows up and stops me. She freaks out, and asks me if I introduced myself to Professor Birch. Which I did. She sees that I got a Pokemon from him, and says that I am my father's child, all right... She tells me that I look good together with a Pokemon, and then gets sad, because I have my own Pokemon now, and am ready to set out for an adventure. She says that my father will be overjoyed. She tells me not to push myself too hard, and if anything happens, I can always come home. Ummm, how about never until you get your act together? She heads back, but waves goodbye before heading back inside.

Finally... I... Am... FREE!!! Look out, Hoenn, I am BACK, but as a NEW MAN!!!

Chapter II: The Road To Petalburg City, And A New Friend, Wally!

As soon as I get to Route 101, May calls me. Maybe now you'll want to come along with me! She shows up, and says that she has something for me from her dad. She says that he forgot to give it to me before. She updates my PokeNav Plus, and gives me the DexNav function! She tells me that it can tell me lots about the Pokemon living in each area and that kind of stuff. She also says it's a handy app to have if I'm trying to catch lots of different Pokemon. She then tells me that it's time she uses the DexNav to do some more Pokemon catching herself. She tells me that I should use those balls she gave me earlier to do a bit of catching too. Yeah, catching you, that's for sure~ She runs off, and I follow her.

When I follow her, she tells me to come over to her, as she shows me a Poochyena's tail sticking out of the tall grass. She tells me that there's a Pokemon hiding there! She also tells me that if I check my DexNav, I can find more information about it. She says that it knows a pretty rare move, too! She tells me that I should try getting closer, real nice and slow! Sheesh, May, you sound like you want the thing so badly. Why don't YOU catch it? Oh well, more fun for me! She tells me to push lightly on the Circle Pad to sneak close to Pokemon hiding in the grass, which is what it said in a book she read. We sneak slowly, and she says that we're almost there. She tells me, "Slowly...slooowly..." Dang, girl, are you usually this excited? Sheesh! She tells me to press lightly on the Circle Pad to sneak. I sneak slowly to the Poochyena, and manage to battle it! I weaken it a little bit, but then throw a Pokeball at it. I catch it on the first try! I name it Wolfgang, as in Wolfgang Mozart, and look for more Pokemon to catch.

After I catch Wolfgang, I decide to do the Beldum event. So I do, and I get a Shiny Beldum (Which is SO MUCH EASIER than Reborn...) I then head to Route 102, and I battle a few trainers. I even catch some new Pokemon, and give them all nicknames. As soon as I beat all of the trainers, I continue my quest. However, as I try to continue, May walks up to me from behind and says hey. She asks me how's it going, and asks me if I have been using my DexNav and perfecting my sneaking skills. I tell her that I have, and she says that she hopes I already checked out the DexNav's Detector Mode. I did that when a bunch of Wingull were flying around, so it's okay. She tells me that it reacts to Pokemon in the area, so it's really handy. We then hear a rustling in the bushes, and May then shows me something up in the trees. Just then, three Beautifly fly out from the trees, and fly away. ANOTHER romantic moment... May then says that she'll have to check in her DexNav later to be sure. She's also surprised we already made it through Route 102, and says that it's really true that time flies when you're with a friend. She is shocked that we are at Petalburg already, and she asks me if my dad is the Gym Leader in Petalburg City. I tell her that he is, and she says that maybe she should try to take him on herself, once she trains up her Pokemon a bit more. She then says that she's off, and says that we should meet up again sometime. She then leaves for Petalburg City, and I follow her.

As soon as I get to Petalburg City, I heal my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center. I then head to the gym, where I find my dad, Norman! He speaks to a challenger, who just lost. He tells the kid to come back and challenge him again sometime, and says that he'll be looking forward to seeing him and his Pokemon again when he's a bit stronger. The young lad thanks him, and promises that he will do special training with his Pokemon. Then, he'll challenge this gym again. He thanks him for the battle, and leaves. I show up, and Norman is happy to see me. He asks me if I've finished moving in, and I say that I have. He gets silent for a moment, and says that we shouldn't stand around out here talking. He asks me if I want to come in for a bit, and says that we can talk in the gym.

We head inside the gym, and he says that he was surprised that I managed to get here by myself. He sees my Pokemon, and says that I'm making a good start on my team. He confirms that I'm going to be a Trainer like him, and he says that's something to look forward to. Just then, somebody comes in and meekly says that he'd like to get a Pokemon. The young boy comes closer, and he is a boy with green hair and he looks like he has pajamas. Norman is surprised to see him, and asks if the boy is Wally. The boy confirms this, and says that he's supposed to go stay with his relatives in Verdanturf Town for a while. However, he thought he might be lonely by himself, so he wanted to bring a Pokemon with him. Unfortunately, he's never caught a Pokemon by himself. He gets self-conscious, and says that he's not sure if he can. Norman turns to me, and asks me if I heard all that. He tells me to go with Wally, and make sure that he safely catches a Pokemon. He then lends Wally his Zigzagoon. Wally gets excited, and Norman gives him a Pokeball too. Wally thanks him, and he asks me if I will come with him. We then head out to Route 102.

When we head out to Route 102, Wally asks me if it's okay to go in the grass. He goes in the grass, and he tells me to stay there to watch and see if he can catch one properly. A moment later, he jumps, and encounters a Ralts. A LEVEL 5 RALTS. I wish I could find one of those without having to chain... He weakens Ralts with Zigzagoon, and then throws one of his 15 Pokeballs at it. I THOUGHT NORMAN ONLY GAVE HIM ONE... Just then, Wally catches Ralts with one try. He is overjoyed to have his own Pokemon, and he thanks me. We head back to the gym, and Norman asks if it went well. Wally says that it did go well, and gives Norman his Zigzagoon back. He then turns to me, and thanks me. He says that it was all thanks to us that he was able to catch his very own Ralts. He then says that he will always, always treasure it. He then gets an idea, and tells me to give him my PokeNav Plus for a second. I give it to him, and he updates it! It means that I can now use the PlayNav features on the PokeNav Plus! Wally tells me that he read in a book how people can use the PlayNav to take care of your Pokemon and train them. He says that there's even supposed to be this thing called the PSS, where you can meet up with other Trainers and battle friends and more. He says that he's wanted to have his own Pokemon for so long... and do all those kinda things together. Soooo, he's had all these kinds of apps installed on his PokeNav Plus for ages. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me... He then says that he's going to try his best together with Ralts. He tells me to do my best, too. He realizes that is mom's waiting for him, so he's got to get going. He hopes that we'll meet again, and even Norman.

Wally leaves, and Norman says that Wally will be worth keeping an eye on. He then says that I want to become as strong as a Trainer, then I should listen to his advice. He tells me to first head for Rustboro City, which lies beyond this town. There, I should challenge the Gym Leader, Roxanne. After her, go on to the other Pokemon Gyms and defeat their Leaders as well. He tells me to collect badges from them, and I understand. He tells me that since he is a Gym Leader too, we will battle one day. However, that will only be after I've become stronger. I talk to him again, and he says that he doesn't get pleasure from battling greenhorn Trainers. He says that's no challenge. However, he wants me to grow much stronger before he would consider taking me on in battle. He tells me to come back when I've got at least four badges, and then he'll take me on.

I head to the house next door of the gym, and find that it's none other than Wally's house! I head inside, and speak to his parents. His father thanks me for helping Wally out back there, and says that Wally has been sickly since the time he was born. That's why they decided to send him to stay with his brother's family in Verdanturf Town for a while. He says that the air is far cleaner there than it is around these parts. He sees that I'm looking for Wally, but it seems that he's already left. I wonder where he is... Wally's mother says that it's been ages since Wally's smiled... until now.

After visiting Wally's parents, I head out to Route 104, where I begin my journey to Rustboro City.

Time to get my first badge!

Perhaps I'll do that. I still need to actually catch Poochyena with the right nature before moving onward. It's kinda like the Shiny Beldum situation in Reborn, except Poochyena is MUCH easier to catch. Speaking of Beldum, I'll be using the Shiny Beldum from events.

Chapter III: The Road To Rustboro City, And The Mysterious Petalburg Woods!

After leaving Rustboro City, I head to Route 104, and catch more Pokemon as I battle more trainers. I see a little boy who needs a Potion for his Pokemon, so I give him one. When I battle a rich boy in front of Petalburg Woods, he gives his Zigzagoon a Full Restore when it nearly goes down with paralysis... A Full Restore?! IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME?!?! You would expect the leader of a terrorist group to have some, and maybe some later Gym Leaders, and definitely the Elite Four. BUT A KID?! THIS EARLY?! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

After I finally beat the little snobby rich boy, I head into Petalburg Woods. I catch a few Pokemon, and battle a bug catcher. I then find a scientist in the woods, looking for something. He spots me, and asks me if I have seen any Pokemon called Shroomish around here. He says that he loves it, and then a criminal wearing white and blue with a black bandana shows up. He reveals that he was going to ambush the scientist, but then he had to dawdle in Petalburg Woods. He got sick of waiting, so here he is. He then reveals that the scientist is a Devon researcher, and he tries taking the researcher's papers. The researcher gets scared, and hides behind me. He tells me to help him, and the criminal gets confused. He then realizes what's going on, and says that no one crosses Team Aqua and gets any mercy, not even a kid. He then charges at me, and the battle begins.

Team Aqua... Whoever you are, you and your group are going down!

The Team Aqua grunt sends out Poochyena, while I send out Sebastian, who just knocks out Poochyena with Absorb. With Poochyena down, I win the battle!

The grunt is surprised to see that I'm strong, and says that I've got some nerve meddling with Team Aqua. He wants me to battle him again, but remembers that he's all out of Pokemon to battle with. He reveals that Team Aqua is after something in Rustboro, and says that he'll let us go for today. He sulks away, and the researcher is thankful for being saved. He says that thanks to me, the grunt didn't rob him of his important papers. He then gives me the Exp. Share as thanks! He tells me that he had to strain every fiber of his brain and body to develop the device. Basically, all of my Pokemon get battle experience. He also restores my Pokemon's health with another technical advance. He remembers that Team Aqua was after something in Rustboro, and gets scared. He says that we shouldn't waste any time, and he heads to Rustboro City. I then follow him out after I battle a trainer. Once I beat the trainer, I leave the exit, and head for Route 104.

Meanwhile...

As soon as I leave, another Team Aqua grunt steps out of the shadows, and reports in for the Petalburg recon team. She then begins with an apology to Mr. Matt, because it's not good news. She then tells him that the mission is a no-go, because a little something cropped up and got in the way. She thn listens to what he says, and obliges. She says that she'll continue investigating that energy they detected. She hangs up, and is relieved. She turns over to the exit, and says that I have promise as a Trainer, and then it stops from there...

I then head to Route 104, and get TM49 Echoed Voice from a trainer. I head inside the building with all of the flowers, and there are four girls there. I talk to the one in pink, who says that this is the Pretty Petal flower shop, spreading flowers throughout the world. I tell her my name, and she says it's a nice name. She asks me if I want to learn about Berries, and I do. She says that berries grow on trees that thrive only in soft soil. If I take some, then I have to be sure to plant one in soft soil. She says that a planted berry will soon sprout, grow into a plant, flower beautifully, and then grow berries again. She wants to see the whole wide world filled with beautiful flowers, and that it's her dream. She tells me to help her by planting berries and bringing more flowers into the world. I talk to the girl in blue, and she gives me the Wailmer Pail! After talking to the other two girls, I leave.

I continue my journey, and battle trainers. I battle a lady who gives her Zigzagoon a Full Restore... AGAIN?! ANOTHER FULL RESTORE?!?! I'm done... DON'T CARE!!! I beat the trainers, and head to Rustboro City.

When I get to Rustboro City, I see May step out of the Pokemon Center, looking wonderful as ever. She's happy I made it, and we look at the whole city. She says that Littleroot can't even compare to how big this place is. She also tells me that there's a Pokemon Gym here, too. She says that once she catches a couple more Pokemon, she'll be sure to take it on with her team. She then runs off, and goes to catch more Pokemon.

And so, with May off to catch more Pokemon, and with my team leveled up pretty well, I am ready to face Rustboro City's gym leader...

Let's get ready to rock!

Chapter IV: The Rock-Loving Honor Student Roxanne, And Team Aqua Strikes Back!

After I heal my Pokemon, I head inside the gym. When I head inside, I find a girl wearing a schoolgirl outfit, with a man standing next to her. She sees that I am a new challenger, and introduces herself as Roxanne, the Rustboro City Pokemon Gym Leader. She says that she became a Gym Leader so that she may apply in battle all that she's learned at the Pokemon Trainers' School. She tells me that if I defeat her in a Pokemon battle, she'll present me with a Gym Badge as proof of my strength as a Trainer. She tells me to take up the challenge, and says that she looks forward to seeing me as a challenger. She then bids me farewell, and heads up to her spot. I talk to the gym guy, and he loudly asks me if I would like to become the Champion. He says that he's not a trainer, but he can sure give me winning advice. He says that it's settled, and we'll aim for the Pokemon Championship together. He tells me that Gym Leaders aren't pushovers, and that's where he comes in, providing expert advice. He tells me that Roxanne is a user of Rock-type Pokemon. He says that rock-types are very durable, but they can't stand water-type or grass-type moves. He tells me to see him after I beat Roxanne. I then head onward to battle the Gym Trainers.

For the Gym Trainers, I rely on Beldum, who sometimes doesn't obey, now that it's over the level it obeys. They mostly use Geodudes anyway, so I beat them. As I battle the three trainers, I notice some of the artifacts there, such as the Kalos Stone from Kalos.

After I beat the Gym Trainers, I climb the steps, and meet face-to-face with Roxanne. I see a huge Dragonite fossil behind her, and a Kabutops statue and a Lileep statue around us. Just as she suspected, Roxanne knew my Pokemon and I would get this far. She asks me to kindly demonstrate how I battle with my Pokemon.

I gladly will. Let's rock!

Roxanne sends out Geodude, while I send out Sebastian, who starts absorbing Geodude's health with Mega Drain. Roxanne tries to use a Potion to heal Geodude after it survives with Sturdy, but Geodude goes down from another Mega Drain. Roxanne sends out Nosepass, who nearly goes down from Sebastian's Mega Drain. Sebastian attacks with another Mega Drain, and Nosepass goes down. With Roxanne's Pokemon down, I win the battle!

Roxanne says that she still has much more to learn, and something else happens... After an awesome battle, Sebastian evolves into... Grovyle! Roxanne says that she understands that the Pokemon League's rules state that Trainers receive a badge if they defeat a Gym Leader. She tells me to accept the official Pokemon League Stone Badge.

*Trevor received the Stone Badge!*

Roxanne tells me that the Stone Badge enables Pokemon to use the HM move Cut outside of battle. She also tells me that all Pokemon up to level 20 will also obey me. Now, this means that Beldum will be able to obey me again. She also gives me TM39 Rock Tomb as well. She says that Rock Tomb not only inflicts damage by dropping rocks, it also lowers the target's speed. She says if I use a TM, it instantly teaches the move to a Pokemon, and I can use a TM as many times as I want.

I also talk to her some more, and she says that she has a friend who shares her keen interest in collecting stones named Steven. She says that he's known for his serious expression, but when it comes to rare stones or Steel-type Pokemon, his eyes light up. He gets animated, and his expression changes, showing an unexpected charming side. After talking to her, I talk to the Gym Guy, who congratulates me, and tells me to check my Trainer Card, because the Stone Badge should be recorded on it. In other words, I have climbed the first step on the stairs to the Championship! With that said, I leave.

As soon as I step outside, a Team Aqua grunt runs off from a tall building. The same researcher comes out, but can't catch up to him. He tells the grunt not to take those parts, but it's too late, the grunt is gone. The researcher still tries to follow him anyway. I head down to the house with the prickly trees, and find the Cutter's house. He notices my determined expression and the limber way I move, and my well-trained Pokemon. He says that I am obviously a skilled Trainer, and he hands me HM01 Cut, saying that I'll be capable of putting it to good use. He tells me that there's no need to be modest or shy, and tells me to take it. He says that any Pokemon can chop down prickly trees if the Trainer has earned the Stone Badge. He also says that HMs like this can be used outside of battle, too, with the right badges. With that said, I leave.

After I leave the Cutter's house, I talk to the researcher, who remembers me from when I helped him back in Petalburg Woods. He begs me to get the Devon Goods back from the Team Aqua grunt, because those goods are extremely important. He then tells me that the Aqua grunt fled to the tunnel on Route 116. I battle the trainers, catch some Pokemon, and then I find this Karate Belt trainer who is furious about something going on in the tunnel. He says that he was digging the tunnel without any tools. WITHOUT ANY TOOLS... However, a goon ordered him to leave! I bet that Team Aqua grunt had something to do with it... He tells me that the tunnel is filled with Pokemon that react badly to loud noises, and says that they could cause an uproar, which is why they stopped using heavy equipment for tunneling. However, he is worried that the goon will do something stupid and startle the Pokemon into an uproar. I continue heading to the tunnel, where I find an old man, who tells me that he and Peeko were taking a walk, but then a crook attacked them, and made off with Peeko! Okay, that Aqua Grunt is going to pay. I then head inside.

I head inside Rusturf Tunnel, where I find the Aqua grunt. He backs up, and challenges me. I face him, and he says that this hostage Pokemon turned out to be useless. He thought he would make a getaway, but the tunnel lead him to nowhere. He then says that I'm here to battle him, and the battle begins.

Hand over Peeko and the Devon Goods, you crook!

The Team Aqua grunt sends out Poochyena, while I send out Wolfgang, who knocks out Poochyena with two Thunder Fangs. With the Aqua grunt defeated once again, I win the battle!

The Aqua grunt starts to complain, and says that the boss told him this would be a slick-and-easy job to pull. He tells me that all he had to do was steal some parts from Devon. He rages, and says that if I want them back that badly, then I can take them. I get the Devon Parts back, and I also get Peeko back, while the Aqua grunt leaves. Just after the grunt leaves, the old man comes inside the cave, and reunites with Peeko. He then says that Peeko owes her life and freedom to me, and introduces himself as Mr. Briney. I introduce myself, and he sincerely thanks me. He tells me that if there's ever a thing he can do to help me in turn, then I won't hesitate to tell him. He says that if he's to be found, it will always be at his cottage by the sea near Petalburg Woods. He then leaves with Peeko, and I head back to Rustboro City.

As soon as I head outside of Rusturf Tunnel, I see the karate man, and he says that the goon hightailed it out of the tunnel, which means he can go back to digging. I head inside the Tunneler's rest house, and I see three other tunnelers. One of them says that if I want to get to Verdanturf without using the tunnel, I'd have to cross the sea to Dewford, sail on to Slateport, then travel through Mauville. I talk to another tunneler, who tells me that at first, they had a huge crew working on boring through the rock with the latest machinery. However, they had to stop. It turns out they would have a negative effect on wild Pokemon in the area. Now they're left lazing around here doing nothing. I then head back to Rustboro City.

As soon as make it back to Rustboro City, I talk to the researcher, who thanks me for getting the Devon Parts back to him. He rewards me with a Great Ball, and he tells me to come with him. We enter the Devon Corporation building, and he takes me to the top floor of the building. He tells me that their president's office is on this floor. He thanks me again for what I've done for the company, and tells me to wait here for a moment while he goes to speak with the president. He comes back shortly, and tells me that their president would like to have a word with me. I follow him, and approach the president. He introduces himself as Mr. Stone, the president of the Devon Corporation. He tells me that he heard just now how they have quite a bit to thank me for, and that I helped out his staff not just once, but twice. He then says that he has a favor to ask of a reliable Trainer like me. He tells me that he wants me to know that he's a president I can trust, and that he'd never be so mean as to ask a favor for nothing in return. He then takes my PokeNav Plus for a moment, and updates it for me, which means I can now use the BuzzNav function on it! He introduces the function to me, and says that it is an indispensable tool for any Trainer who is traveling out in the world. He says that if I use it, I'll be able to et the latest news from around the region and from my own friends, anytime and anyplace. He then gets onto the important issue of what it is he needs me to do. He wants to ask me to deliver a letter to a man named Steven, who I will find in Dewford. He gives me the letter, and tells me that I will have to cross the sea to reach Dewford, but he'll ask Mr. Briney to help with the crossing. He tells me to find him, and he should agree to help me. He says that he's counting on me, and if I'm ever unsure of what to do, then I can come an talk with him again. The researcher tells me that Mr. Briney is an old and dear friend of Mr. Stone's. The two of them, along with one other friend, used to travel all the corners of the world together in their youth. After I get my mission, I leave the Devon Corporation.

When I leave, I spot May standing in front of the building. She sees me, and asks me if I've been catching lots of Pokemon. She tells me that she's doing pretty good on that front, and says that she caught so many Pokemon in Petalburg Woods that she ran out of Pokeballs. She also tells me that she passed by Mr. Briney when she was in Petalburg Woods, and says that he must have been on his way home to his cottage on Route 104. She tells me that I just moved here so there's no way I could know, but Mr. Briney was once a highly respected seafarer. I then head down to Mr. Briney's cottage.

When I get to Mr. Briney's cottage, I see him chasing Peeko around. He sees me, and remembers that I'm the one who saved his Peeko. He remembers that he owes me for that day (which was today), and I ask him if I could sail to Dewford with him. I tell him about the mission from Mr. Stone, and he's happy to oblige. We then head to his boat, and set sail for Dewford Town.

Anchors aweigh! Dewford Town, here we come!

Chapter V: The Peaceful Dewford Town, Hipster Trends, The Fight-Loving Brawly, And The Mysterious Writings In Granite Cave!

As soon as we get to Dewford Town, Mr. Briney tells me that if I'm ever feeling lost and adrift, I should call in on the island's Pokemon Gym. He tells me that Brawly, the town's gym leader, surely knows everyone and everything that goes on in his town. I head to the island, and I learn that Dewford Town is the place of hip trends, so I go and make my own trend. Once again, trendy phrases never fail to amuse me. I head to the gym, but I see a Fisherman next to it. He asks me if I'm getting the itch to fish, and I say yes. He then gives me the Old Rod, and gives me advice. After that, I head inside the gym.

I head inside, and the gym guy tells me that Brawly is the Fighting-type Leader, which means that I should use Flying or Psychic-type Pokemon. Brawly's gym is completely different in comparison to the old Ruby and Sapphire games, as it is a straight line with conveyor belts. When I battle the first Gym Trainer, this is explained. A long time ago at Dewford Gym, it was always dark inside. However, I press a switch, and the gym lights up! I guess they do things differently now... I continue battling my way through the Gym Trainers, and lighting up parts of the gym. Eventually, I reach the end, and I hit a big switch, which flashes the main center of the gym, revealing Brawly, who seems to look like he got a tan. He introduces himself, and he says that he's been churned in the rough waves of these parts. He also says that he's grown tough using the cave at the outskirts of this town as his training ground, as well as using the equipment in this gym. He asks me if I want to challenge him, and he wants to see what I'm made of. He smacks his fists together, and the battle begins.

You want to fight? Bring it, Brawly!

Brawly sends out Machop, while I send out Amelia. Amelia confuses Machop with Confuse Ray, then uses Disarming Voice to attack Machop. Brawly gives Machop a Super Potion, but then Machop gets knocked out after a few more Disarming Voices. Brawly sends out Makuhita, and Amelia confuses it with Confuse Ray. I switch out Amelia for Wolfgang, who repeatedly hurts itself from confusion. Just a Thunder Fang alone knocks out Makuhita after it hurts itself so many times. I would be expecting Brawly to have a Meditite, but he doesn't. With both of Brawly's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle!

Brawly says that I made a much bigger splash than he expected, which is a good thing. However, with the defeat of another Gym Leader means another evolution, as Wolfgang evolves into... Mightyena! Brawly then gives me the Knuckle Badge.

*Trevor received the Knuckle Badge!*

He tells me that the Knuckle Badge makes all Pokemon up to level 30 obey without question. He also gives me TM08 Bulk Up, which he didn't even use against me. He tells me that Bulk Up temporarily enhances the Pokemon's muscle power, and that the move boosts both attack and defense stats of the Pokemon. He then says that he can see my talent becoming a giant wave that causes a storm of astonishment with Trainers one day, and looks forward to the day when he can surf my giant wave. However, he also asks me if I have been to Granite Cave. He tells me that it's located to the north of this town, and that it's full of fascinating stuff, like rare stones and wall paintings thousands of years old. He says that his friend Steven rushed to the cave after he told him about it, so I will find him there. With that said, I leave the gym, and head to Granite Cave.

When I get to Granite Cave, I see a Hiker who gives me TM70 Flash, because the road will be dark up ahead. I walk down the steps, and head deeper into the cavern. I head deeper in the cave, and I see a white-haired man studying a wall painting of a gigantic fish Pokemon creating huge waves. It's not dark at all in this room! He mutters information about the ancient world, and that their primal forms once held a lot of power. He mutters something about the terrible strength of the super-ancient Pokemon. He says that this appearance is somehow different from Mega Evolution. He then gives up, and says that his questions will not be answered today. He notices me, and asks me who I am. I introduce myself, and he apologizes. He introduces himself as Steven, and says that he's interested in rare stones, so he travels here and there. He says that today, his journey brought him here. He asks me what I'm doing here, and I give him the letter I was entrusted with. He thanks me, and says that it must have been some trouble to track him down. He says he will repay me in some way, and gives me TM51 Steel Wing, which is his favorite move. He looks up at the picture, and asks me if I feel anything in particular when I look up at the wall. He mutters something about a primal world, lost thousands of years in the past. He also talks about a legendary Pokemon of tremendous power became humanity's greatest threat. He tells me that the terror aroused by that power is clear to see in this ancient artwork. He turns back to me, and says that not all power is terrible. He says that my Pokemon are clearly capable as well, and that looking at us all together... He says that I have what it takes to become a Pokemon League Champion. As long as I keep training, that is. He then wishes me good luck, for he must be going now. He then walks away, while I look up at the great picture on the wall, as it has the alpha symbol on both of its arms. With that said, I leave the cave.

I head back to Dewford Town, and I talk to Mr. Briney, who sees that I have delivered my chit good and proper. He remembers that he has a message from President Stone, saying he has another favor to ask. He tells me that it's about the Devon Parts that I recovered for him before. He tells me that they should go to a fellow named Stern at Slateport's shipyard. He says that he will see me there safely, because we're for Slateport.

Chapter VI: The High-Sailing Slateport City, Team Aqua's Museum Trip, And The Crazy Beginning Of Spectacular Pokemon Contests!

When we get to Route 109's shore, Mr. Briney lets me know. He reminds me to visit Captain Stern and deliver the Devon Parts, and I continue my quest. I battle every single trainer on Route 109, and even the ones inside the shack. After that, I head to Slateport City.

Once I head to Slateport City, I head to the Slateport Market. Unfortunately, some things won't be available until I get the TM Secret Power. I continue my path, but then I find something glittering on the ground. I pick it up, and it is an Alakazite! What could this mean? I continue exploring the town, and I see a whole bunch of Team Aqua grunts in line at the Oceanic Museum. I wonder what they're planning to do now? I travel some more, and fined the Pokemon Fan Club, where I get the Soothe Bell, and speak with the chairman. He rambles on, and then apologizes for it. With that said, I leave.

Remembering the task at hand, I swiftly head to Stern's shipyard, where I find a man muttering about something. I then approach him, and he notices me. He introduces himself as Dock, who Captain Stern commissioned to draw up designs for a ferry. He sees that I have the Devon Parts, and he tells me that Captain Stern is probably off at the Oceanic Museum again. He asks me to find the captain and give the parts to him, and I leave after talking to everybody there.

I head to the Oceanic Museum, but all of the Aqua grunts seem to be inside. I head inside, and sure enough, it is true. I pay $50, and head inside. I talk to some of the Aqua members, and I eventually find the one I beat twice. He gives me TM46 Thief as an apology, and then he runs off because I ruined his plans of stealing something. After I talk to all of the Aqua grunts and learn about the ocean, I head upstairs, where I learn about the different kinds of boats, and find Captain Stern. He sees that I have the parts he ordered from Mr. Stone at Devon, and thanks me, for now they can prepare for their expedition at last. However, just when he says that, two Team Aqua grunts show up, and try taking the Devon Parts AGAIN. Stern gets scared, and wonders who the two crooks are. I step in front of Stern to protect him, while they introduce their organization, and explain that their boss wants the parts in that case. They tell us to fork it over, and battle me. All the two grunts have is two Carvanhas and a Zubat, so I beat them pretty easily.

The two grunts freak out, and just then, their boss arrives. He sees me, and says that he came to see what was taking so long just to steal a few parts, but he finds them getting beat by me. He laughs, and comments on my fierce expression. He sees that I'm not just another mindless Trainer brat, and introduces himself as Archie, and that the rough-looking lot I see here are members of his team-- Team Aqua. He asks me if I know that Pokemon, people, and all life in this world depend on the sea for life, and begins to explain that the sea is an irreplaceable treasure for every living thing on this planet. However, with our selfish extravagance, humanity dirties the great ocean, destroying this source of all life. Day by day, we're all destroying our most precious resource. If we humans suffer from our actions, maybe we'll end up getting what we deserve. He asks me what about the Pokemon, and asks about the Pokemon that no longer have a place to live because we stole and soiled their seas. The Pokemon that won't have a place to raise their young and watch them grow. He says that we are creating a world in which innocent Pokemon suffer as a result of our actions, and that is something he can't forgive. He tells me that he came to a decision... The foolish actions of his fellow humans, the seas we have blighted, nature itself... He claims that he will return everything to its unsoiled beginnings.

Archie then laughs, and realizes that he's talking too much. He says that he'll withdraw for now and leave me be, but leaves me with a threat that if I get in his way again, I won't walk away unscathed next time. He tells me to remember that, and tells his fellow grunts that they're moving out. Team Aqua then retreats, and Stern thanks me for helping him out. He remembers that I brought the parts from Devon, and I give him the Devon Parts. He sees them, and says that he can't be standing around here because it's finally time for them to set out on their ocean-floor expedition. He thanks me, and leaves in a hurry. With all of that done, I heal my Pokemon and leave Slateport City as I continue on my quest.

However...

A group of people swarm over the Pokemon Contest building as a girl named Lisia steps out of the building with her Altaria named Ali, doing a photo shoot. When I arrive, I see a light-blue-haired girl with REALLY skimpy clothes and an Altaria. What the heck? Is she the Britney Spears of Pokemon or something? She greets everybody, and introduces herself and her Altaria, and announces that they have come to Slateport City's Contest Spectacular Hall for a bit of FUN. Yeah... Perhaps a bit of TOO much fun, if you know what I mean... Her Altaria screeches, and Lisia tells us to watch her as she dives right in again today. The crowd cheers, as she spins around, while everybody follows her movements. She strikes a pose, and announces that now is the time for her Miraculous Contest Scouting. Her boy fans all cheer, as one of them even wants her to scout him to be her next boyfriend. Scouting him to be her next boy toy is more like it... I wouldn't be surprised if she picked me for ANYTHING. She says that she's going to bring another fantastic Trainer into the world of contesting, and then begins her choosing... She wanders around, but then notices me with a baffled expression on my face. Probably from still not getting over looking at her in general... Probably getting ready to smack me or do whatever, or something like that. She greets me with a smile on her face, as her cameraman points at me too. She asks me if I have never joined in a contest, and says that's just what she wants to hear... Even though I never said ANYTHING.

Lisia takes me over to the front, and says that I am the Trainer she's going to scout today. Again, I am not surprised at all, because how ELSE are we going to get a Contest Pass? I tell her my name, and she says that when she took a good look, she could easily see that I am a powerful Trainer, with several badges of my own already. She turns to me, and says that I can enjoy Contest Spectaculars at the Pokemon Contest Hall right here. She tells me to listen, because she doesn't just want to see me making my Pokemon strong. She wants to see me bringing out a whole new brilliant side of them to show off. She gives me the Contest Pass, which is the first thing that anyone needs to take part in a Contest Spectacular. She also gives me the Pokeblock Kit, which will let me make Pokeblocks for my Pokemon out of berries. She then turns to the camera, and announces that my story begins today, and this chapter should be titled..."A Sudden Encounter! Miraculous Contest Scouting!" I'd rather call this chapter something else... Which is why the title of this chapter is different. She tells everybody out there watching that they'd better expect great things from me, because she does. She concludes her Miraculous Contest Scouting, and everybody claps while saying it... Which is really weird... Everybody says their own weird little things to Lisia, and the cameraman leaves, while Lisia tells me that if I feel up for it, then I should try my hand in a contest for me. She giggles, and heads inside the contest hall, while a few guys follow her, and the others just leave. Since I feel the urge to do a contest, I head inside.

When I head inside, I see that the Contest Hall is completely different than in Ruby and Sapphire. It is more of a disco...nightclub...rave party... thing. I talk to Lisia, and she thanks me for playing along back there, because it was quite shocking. She tells me not to mind it, because contests really are fantastic, and she's suuure I'll get hooked on them. Either that, or you'll get hooked onto ME, judging on how you're acting right now... She tells me that she would love to take part in a contest together someday, and tells me not to keep her waiting. The question is, what KIND of contest...? I go and talk to the special effects guy, and as I go and enter contest, Lisia stops me, and asks me if I'm really going to try a contest for her. She then gets so happy, she's happier than a Gloom with a Sun Stone. She says that this chapter of my story should definitely be called... She does her famous pose again, blushing as usual, and says "My Big Beginning! A Heart-Pounding Contest Debut!" Again, I prefer naming my own chapters, thank you. I AM the Author, after all. And no, not the author of any mysterious journals, mind you. I'm more of... the Writer. However, she decides to go with her thing, and says that if I'm gonna take the stage, I've gotta come with her first. Okay... I'm not sure whether I should be scared of this, or pleased...

She takes me over to the dressing room, and we're alone. Yup... Now I DEFINITELY can't tell what's going on... However, she says that if I'm taking on a Contest Spectacular, there's something I have to have from her. Okay, now I'm starting to get thoughts... She giggles, and admits that it's sudden, but she apologizes. WHOA THERE! We've just met, and you want to do unspeakable things NOW?! We should at LEAST get to know each other first... She admits that I'm actually the 100th Trainer that she's scouted. Depends on what you mean by 'scouted'... She says that is a really big deal. She poses, and says that it's gotta be fate. She giggles, and says that I'm just the Trainer she's been looking for. Oh, so this would be your first time doing... things or something...? She apologizes, and says that she got a little carried away. You think? She then asks me the main point if I would like to... If I thought... Okay, now I'm starting to confirm my thoughts. She asks me if I wanna wear a Contest Costume for my performance. She gives it to me, and doesn't even look away when I change into it. She must be really weird, or just that crazy not to look away... When I change, I actually look great. Why can't I just stay like this for the whole game?! She even admires my look, and blushes while gawking at me, saying it's so cooooool. She says that it's PERFECT for me. She gets impatient, saying she can't wait, because it will be my first time on a live contest stage, and it's gonna be so so so AWESOME. She promises that she's not gonna blink for even a second. I change back into my regular clothes, with her still looking. Jeez, why can't you look away while I change? It could have lead into something totally not rated E for Everyone... She says that she couldn't stop looking at my outfit, and was about to lose it here. Lose what, to be specific? She tells me that I have to wear this Contest Costume, and promises that it'll be perfect for the contest. She poses again, and says that she'll be cheering for me. With that... encounter, done, I go and get ready for my very first contest.

I head to the front desk, and the lady at the desk notices my Contest Pass. She then gives me some advice: During the contest, my Pokemon will show the audience just how lovely it is. First up is the Introduction Round. The appearance of Pokemon that have raised their Coolness, Cuteness, or other conditions with Pokeblocks will be judged. After the Introduction Round, it's time for the Talent Round. It's a competition to determine how well Pokemon can use their moves over the course of five turns. I have to use moves that match the condition of the contest to make the audience go crazy. If I check the moves of the Pokemon that I want to put in the contest, I can see that they're split into five different conditions, such as Coolness and Cuteness. If I'm in a contest with the same title as that condition, I can use that move to appeal to the crowd. After I place first in a Normal Rank contest, I can win my way through higher ranks. After that helpful advice, I enter the contest.

I think I'll enter the Cool Contest with... Swellington!

The lady tells me to note that the camera's shutter sound will always be played at a fixed volume, regardless of the current volume setting. It's like they're aware they're in a video game! She asks me if I still want to participate, and I do. She then says my entry was accepted, and my Entry No. is 4. I change into my awesome clothes, and head inside.

When I head inside, the other three entries are Taillow, Poochyena, and Aron. First, Swellington uses Double Team to get the crowd pumped, and then uses Brave Bird, and then Wing Attack. However, the other Taillow gets in the lead, but Swellington fights back with Brave Bird and Wing Attack. For the results... Poochyena gets 4th Place, Aron gets 3rd Place, and... Taillow gets 2nd place while Swellington takes 1st Place!

I head out to the entrance, and the lady says that I performed the best! Next time, I can enter my Pokemon in the Super Rank of the Coolness Contest! They'll be waiting for me. The lady says that someone seems to be waiting for me in the green room as well. ...Right over where I was with Lisia before.

I head to the green room, and sure enough, Lisia is there, waiting for me. She congratulates me, and says that she watched it all. I'm glad she enjoyed the performance... She makes a new chapter, and calls it... "I Really Did It! A Star Is Born!" Like I said... Leave the names of the chapters to ME... She tells me that I've gotta keep up this pace and just go as far as I can go. She tells me to become a real contest star. She says that if I could have as much fun with Contest Spectaculars as her, she'd be happy as Slugma on a sunny day. She tells me that I could become a massive star, and that she's got a good feeling about me. I challenge her to a battle, but she says that she's not all that hot at battles. However, maybe she'll get to take me on in a contest someday. I ask her why she started in contests, and she says that it's because she wanted to show people that there's this whole other amazing side to Pokemon, more than what we see in battles or whatever. She tells me that Pokemon are about more than strength. We can raise them to be beautiful, or we can raise them to be tough as nails. They grow and change, trying as hard as they can to live up to their Trainer's feelings. Ali agrees, and Lisia says that she wants the whole world to get it about all the other cool aspects of raising Pokemon. That's why Ali and her set out to become stars, because when you're a star, and everyone starts following you, then they naturally start wanting to know more about contests, too. She poses, and says that's why she started thinking that a Trainer shouldn't just depend on Pokemon. The Trainer's gotta be just as cute, or just as cool, to stand alongside their awesome Pokemon. She then realizes that she probably went on too much again, and tells me that I gotta win next time. After talking with Lisia, I leave.

However, just as I head for the exit, a Pokemon Breeder stops me, and asks me if I have a minute. She tells me that she just saw the Contest Spectacular, and compliments that my costume in the contest suited me perfectly. She says that my look inspired her, so she rushed out and created a matching costume for a Pokemon. She tells me that she knows a very fashion-conscious Pikachu called Cosplay Pikachu, and she let it wear the costume. She tells me that Cosplay Pikachu is a special Pikachu, and that it's very, very, very fashionable, and any costume looks fantastic on the Pikachu. She tells me that I'll really, really, really stand out if me and Cosplay Pikachu go on stage with matching costumes. She gives me Cosplay Pikachu, and it goes in the PC. She tells me that she's making it a spectacular, and that there are more costumes for Cosplay Pikachu, so I can drop by the dressing room. She tells me to take good care of Pikachu, and heads for the dressing room. With that said, I leave, and head straight for the Name Rater, so I can rename Slakoth Dankey Kang (It was Dankey Kong before), and Pikachu Mr. Muffintops, even though it's locked to be a female! With that said, I continue my quest, and I leave Slateport City.

Onward to Mauville City!

Current Stats:

There's not that much leveling up here. However, Mr. Muffintops will be joining my team! I named Pikachu Mr. Muffintops, even though it was a female. I named it that nickname because a long time ago, when I played Pokemon Yellow, I named my Pikachu Mr. Muffintops, assuming it would be a male. However, when I played Pokemon Stadium 2 with it, it turned out to be a female. When my Pokemon Yellow game deleted, I had to start a new one. This time, instead of playing the game like a normal person... I decided to use glitches to get a level 100 Nidoking and one or two level 100 Mews. Which, they all obeyed, regardless of how many badges I had, allowing me to annihilate every trainer I fought. Anyways, when I named Pikachu Mr. Muffintops again, it turned out to be a female. Again. Ever since Pokemon Yellow, it has been a tradition for me to name Pikachu Mr. Muffintops, regardless of its gender, every time I use one for my main party. I mean, I named it Mr. Muffintops in Pokemon Y, and it was a male, sooooo now I don't care if Mr. Muffintops is a male or female, because it can be whatever it wants to be, which can proudly be shown in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

Chapter VII: The Long Road To Mauville City, May's Return, And The Strange Trick House!

After Super Training some of my Pokemon and leaving Slateport City, I head to Route 110. I notice Cycling Road, and think that I can slip by and cut through to get to Mauville City. However, I am wrong, as I am stopped by the man at the desk, saying that it's not safe to walk on Cycling Road, and that I have to come back with a bike. As I start to take the low road, I see a group of Team Aqua grunts blocking the road. The leader grunt tells the rest of them to keep going through Route 110 and head for Mt. Chimney. One of the female grunts says that it's quite far, and asks if they can take a rest in Mauville City, because it's on the way. The other female grunt says that it's a great idea, and so they head to Mauville City. I'm surprised they didn't notice me.

After Team Aqua leaves, I continue my journey to Mauville City. I battle a trainer, and then stumble upon a house called the Trick House. As soon as I enter, I feel like I'm being watched. I examine the desk, and I find whoever's underneath it. He reveals himself, and introduces himself as the greatest living mystery of a man in all of Hoenn: The Trick Master. He asks me if I have come to challenge his Trick House, and he accepts my challenge. He tells me to enter through the scroll in front of us, and let my challenge commence. He tells me that he will be waiting in the back, and warns me not to get lost, because his challenges are difficult. He gives me an Escape Rope, and he then leaves. I then enter the scroll.

When I enter the room, I see a huge forest of trees and prickly trees that can be cut. With the help of Ziggy, I can cut down the trees with Cut. All I do is cut through trees, battle trainers, and find Lava Cookies. I also find a scroll, which I memorize for the end of the maze. What's funny is that these trainers think that they can't get out, but in reality, they can. There's a freaking exit at the south end! After beating all of the trainers, I write the secret code on the scroll, "Trick Master is wonderful." Narcissistic much? I unlock the door, and head inside, only to find the Trick Master. I also find an Expert Belt next to his TV. He's surprised that I made it, and says that it took him all night to plant those trees. He tells me that I'm almost his equal in greatness by one, two, three, four places. He gives me TM12 Taunt as a reward, and tells me to scrub my smirk off my face, because it's much too early to think I've won. He vows to make new tricks to stump me, and that I may mock him only when I'm done. He then tells me to come back for the next exciting installment, and he vanishes. With him gone, I can leave. I can just come back later for the other challenges.

I leave the Trick House, and continue north to Mauville City. Just when I go any farther, I eventually notice May, who is currently looking for more Pokemon. She sees me, and says that it's been ages. She tells me that she was indeed searching for Pokemon, and says that her dad is always going on about how nature used to be even more diverse, way back in the day. He says that there used to be way more kinds of Pokemon than there are now. Wouldn't it be the other way around, and that there are more Pokemon now than there were back then? She tells me that that's the reason why she and her dad do fieldwork, because they really want to find out what happened to those Pokemon in the past. I guess that makes more sense now. She reveals that on her journey up to now, she's met a lot of different Pokemon, and she thinks she's gotten to understand a lot of them, too. May and her Pokemon have really grown, it seems. She then challenges me to a little battle, and gets into her fighting stance. With that said and done, the battle begins.

Get ready, May! You're going to get wrecked TWICE!

May sends out Wailmer, while I send out Amelia. Amelia confuses Wailmer with Confuse Ray, and Wailmer then proceeds to hurt itself. Amelia also attacks Wailmer with Disarming Voice, but then I heal Amelia with a Soda Pop. After another Disarming Voices or two, Wailmer gets knocked out. May sends out Shroomish, while I send out Swellington, who wipes out Shroomish with Brave Bird. May sends out Combusken as her last Pokemon, while I send out Sebastian, who unfortunately gets knocked out by Combusken's Flame Charge. I send out Amelia again, and she confuses Combusken with Confuse Ray. Combusken hurts itself, but then snaps out of it, and knocks Amelia out with Peck. I send Sebastian out again (Who I gave a revive to), who takes a bit of health with Mega Drain, while Combusken misses a Flame Charge. Sebastian strikes with Quick Attack, and Combusken hurts itself, fainting in the process. With all of May's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle!

May says that I'm better than she expected. After the battle, Amelia goes through an evolution, and evolves into... Kirlia! May notices that I've been busy training too, and she realizes that our teams look pretty tired. She heals my Pokemon for me, and says that I deserve a reward, too. Oh man... I wonder what kind of reward I'll get! She gives me the Dowsing Machine, Which is good too, and tells me that if there's a hidden item anywhere near me, that little thing will react to tell me. So it's like a metal detector? She tells me to pay attention, and it'll lead me right to items. She says that it's fun to see all those waving bits above my head, and tells me to try it, cause she'll bet I'll be hooked. However, she tells me that I won't be able to sneak up on Pokemon while I wear it. She says her goodbyes, and that we should meet again. She hopes we'll be able to meet even more Pokemon on our journeys. She gets on her Bicycle, and heads to Mauville City.

I try on the Dowsing Machine, and it looks like a headband. I like the lasers much better in Y... I put them away, and battle more trainers, while leveling up my Pokemon. Eventually, I make it, and head north. However, it looks like I have to go through a tunnel to get to Mauville City. And so I step inside...

Time to get my third badge! Mauville City, here I come!

Current Stats:

A few Pokemon leveled up, and Amelia evolved into a Kirlia! Amelia was also one of the Pokemon I Super Trained. The other was Mr. Muffintops. I trained Amelia because I felt that Amelia was weaker than the others. With the help of Super Training, I was able to make it stronger, along with Mr. Muffintops. I think I'll train Sebastian next, because he didn't do so good in that battle against May.

Chapter VIII: The Inside-Scoop Of Mauville City, A Reunion With Wally, And The Jolly Electrifying Wattson!

I was wrong...

It turns out that Mauville City as a whole is built directly inside. It looks like a freaking hotel... mall... thing! I notice a familiar green-haired boy and a man next to him. It seems that Wally has already gotten to Mauville City. His uncle notices that he's enjoying it, and asks him what he would like to do, such as grabbing a bite to eat at the Mauville Food Court. He also wants to get Wally a bike of his own at Rydel's Cycles, because the exercise would be good for his health. However, Wally has something else on his mind... He wants to challenge the gym right away! He looks around, and sees the gym, which is just straight ahead through the inner courtyard. He goes on ahead, and his uncle tells him to wait. He follows him, and I follow them, but I'm healing my Pokemon first.

After I heal my Pokemon, I follow Wally and his uncle through the inner courtyard, and find them in front of the gym. Wally begs his uncle to let him challenge the gym to see how much stronger he's become, and his uncle tries to say no. He tells him that it's certainly true that he's grown quite a lot stronger alongside his Pokemon, but jumping right into a gym might be pushing it. Wally takes none of that, and says that he's not pushing it, and that if it's him and his Ralts, they can beat anyone. I JUST evolved my Amelia, so I can take you on, kid. They notice me, and Wally says that he and Ralts have gotten a lot stronger since we first met, and that they're growing together. He wants to prove that to me and his uncle, and he wants me to help him once more... By having a battle with him. I say yes, and his determined frown turns into a smile as he thanks me. He promises to his Ralts that they're going to win, and with that, the battle begins.

Hey, it's your funeral, kid. Me? Losing? Tough luck.

Wally sends out his Ralts, while I send out Amelia, who confuses Ralts with Confuse Ray, while getting attacked by Magical Leaf from Ralts. However, after two hits of Disarming Voice, Ralts goes down. With Wally's Ralts defeated, I win the battle!

Wally admits that I really am strong, and hangs his head in defeat as he tells his uncle that he'll go back to Verdanturf. He thanks me, and admits that being a Trainer is tough, and that it's not enough just to battle with your Pokemon. He says that he can't become a true Trainer like that. His uncle consoles him that there's no need to get so down on himself, and asks him what's keeping him from becoming stronger. He tells him that nothing is, and that all he needs to do is keep growing. Wally grows silent, and his uncle tells him that they should go home, because everyone's waiting for him. Wally obeys, and Wally tells me that he's definitely going to get stronger. Much, much stronger. He feels like he learned a lot from just one Pokemon battle with me; about his own limits, and Ralts's. He steps closer, and tries to ask me something. My goodness, Wally, what do you need? If it's my heart, keep looking! My heart's on May... No matter what went on in that dressing room back in Slateport...

...Yeah...

Wally stutters to me if he could call me his rival, but blushes. Better than lover, cause that's spot's gonna be taken soon! Don't worry, Wally, you'll find yourself in your journey, one way or another. He says that it was nothing, and tells me to forget about it. He says goodbye, and cries off to Verdanturf Town. Scrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuubbbbb... He'll never reach to my level. Neither can another certain green-haired scrub, but that's another story. His uncle walks over to me, and realizes that I must be the young man who kept an eye out for Wally when he caught his Pokemon. He says that it's me they have to thank for Wally becoming so positive about the future. Why, was he thinking very bad thoughts again? He thanks me, and gives me HM06 Rock Smash as a thank-you gift. He tells me that even if there are obstacles in my path, I'll be able to break through them, especially if I use Rock Smash. He says that they should head back now, but if I ever have the time, he'd love it if I'd stop by their home in Verdanturf, because he's sure Wally would enjoy it, too. He says that they'll look forward to seeing me, and follows Wally. After Wally and his uncle go home to Verdanturf, I head inside the gym.

When I go inside, I see the gym is different. Gone are the flashy colors, and introduced to the new, black and yellow, sleek colors of the gym. I talk to the gym guy, who tells me that Wattson uses Electric-type Pokemon, which means that Water-type Pokemon will be zapped. He also tells me that Wattson put in switch-controlled electric devices all over his gym. I then proceed to flip the switches, and battle the trainers. The first part is easy, but it gets harder every stair climb. However, some trainers even have Pokemon that are NOT Electric-types. However, they still have Electric-type attacks. I also notice that a lot of electricity action is going on in the second floor much more than the first floor. It also seems that Wattson was a Trainer much longer than my dad was, even before he was born. Eventually, I defeat all of the trainers, and flip the switches so that I can face Wattson.

I face Wattson, who is looking at his power source for the gym. He realizes that I am there, and turns to face me, asking me what I'm doing here. He's shocked that I've gotten past all his rigged doors, and is amused. He tells me that the plans to reform Mauville are done for now, and that making traps for his gym and battling with young Trainers like me are the things he lives for now. He declares that he, Wattson, the leader of Mauville Gym, shall electrify me. He laughs, and the battle begins.

Actually, Wattson, I believe it's time for YOU to get electrified! Get shell-shocked!

Wattson sends out Magnemite, while I send out Wolfgang, who Bites Magnemite, making it flinch. Magnemite then goes down from another Bite, and Wattson sends out Voltorb, who nearly knocks out Wolfgang with Volt Switch. Wattson sends out Magneton, who keeps flinching from Bite. However, Wattson heals it with a Super Potion, and Wolfgang gets knocked out from Magneton's Volt Switch. Wattson sends out Voltorb again, while I send out Sebastian, who knocks out Voltorb with a few Mega Drains. Wattson sends out Magneton again, who confuses Sebastian with Supersonic. Sebastian hurts itself, but then snaps out of it, while landing a critical hit Mega Drain, knocking Magneton out. With all of Wattson's Pokemon electrified, I win the battle!

Wattson doesn't care that he lost, and says he was electrified by me. He then gives me the badge.

*Trevor received the Dynamo Badge!*

Wattson tells me that with the Dynamo Badge, Pokemon can use the HM Rock Smash outside of battle. Pokemon up to level 40 will also obey me now, even if I got them from someone else. He also gives me TM72 Volt Switch, which I'm surprised he was the first Gym Leader to actually use the move they give after the battle. He tells me that Volt Switch is a move where your Pokemon attacks the opponent and then rushes back to switch places with a party Pokemon in waiting. Wattson swells with optimism, seeing a promising young Trainer like me. I then leave, seeing that all of the electric doors are shut off now.

I then decide to explore, seeing as Mauville City is a huge city indeed. I explore the west wing, and see that the Mauville Game Corner is shut down. I talk to the owner standing outside of it, and he says that he used to run a business here, but he had to close it for reasons I don't need to know. Somebody's suspicious... He tells me that he still has some prizes left, and asks me if I can take care of them. I say yes, and he gives me dolls of the three Hoenn starters! He thanks me, and says that they're happy too. He also says that people used to come to his place and play games like crazy. Times change... I head to the cafe next door, and get TM48 Round from the lady at the desk. She says that I live in this time, and she's curious about what kinds of songs I sing. I then decide to head to Rydel's Cycles to get a Bicycle.

When I head there, the owner sees me, and says that I can call him Rydel, the owner of this cycle shop. He notices my running shoes, and says that they're awfully filthy. He asks if I came from far away, which I came all the way from Littleroot Town. He is shocked that I have gotten this far, and says that if I had one of his Bikes, I could go anywhere easily while feeling the gentle caress of the wind. He then says that he'll give me a Bike. However, there are two kinds of Bikes: The Mach Bike, and the Acro Bike. Mach Bikes are for cyclists who want to feel the wild, blowing wind as they ride, and Acro Bikes are for those who prefer a technical ride. He says that he's a real sweetheart, so I can have whichever one I like.

Since I need precision, I'll choose... the Acro Bike!

Rydel tells me that if I get the urge to switch bikes, then I can just come see him. I leave, and head for Route 118, just so I can beat everybody available so I can train. I head to the Pokemon Center to heal, where I meet this yellow crazy guy named Giddy who gives me O-Powers. He better not be related to Mr. Bonding... After that, he leaves, and so do I.

I then head to Route 117 to get to Verdanturf Town, but I have to battle a few trainers in the process. However, during one of those battles, Beldum evolves into... Metang! After heading back to the Pokemon Center to heal, I see another weird man, but this time in red, named the Hipster. He gives me an O-Power, much like when Giddy gave me a while ago. I go back to Route 117 to battle more trainers, but then after I beat the last one, Swellington evolves into... Swellow! I then head into Verdanturf Town.

I head to Verdanturf Town, where I heal my Pokemon. I notice a Contest Spectacular Hall, which has the same kind of details as the one back in Slateport City. Even the Cosplay Pikachu woman is here. I get TM45 Attract from a girl, and leave. I talk to a girl who has lost her Shroomish around a sign, so I examine the sign. Sure enough, Shroomish is hiding behind it, and the little girl is happy that Shroomish is found. She gives me the Intriguing Stone, which seems to be like a mega stone. I visit Wally's uncle's house, and it turns out that his daughter's boyfriend is the one trying to dig through Rusturf Tunnel, just so that he can see her. Wally's uncle tells me that if I'm looking for Wally, he's gone. He reveals that after Wally lost to me in Mauville, he said he had to train more, and they haven't seen him since. He thinks that it must be Wally's Pokemon that have lit such a fire in Wally and given him so much hope to live for. Since that man is trying so hard, I'll help him out at Rusturf Tunnel.

I head to Rusturf Tunnel, and head outside, where I find a man looking for his glasses. I find some Black Glasses, but those weren't it. he leaves, and so I then help out the young couple. I eventually find them, and the woman says that she wants to do something about the boulders, but it's beyond her to deal with it alone. However, she notices me, and is shocked that my Pokemon can use Rock Smash. Zigby is my HM Slave. Of COURSE it knows Rock Smash. She begs me to use Rock Smash to break up the boulders, and she thanks me. I shatter the boulders, and the man thanks me as well. He gives me an Aggronite to show how much he appreciates my help, and he says that he found it while he was digging for the tunnel. He says that he felt like there's some mysterious power coming from it, but he doesn't think he could do a thing with it. He walks over to his girlfriend, Wanda, and says that he can see her anytime now, which is wonderful. She offers to take him to her place so he can rest, and they leave. I soon follow them back to Wanda's house.

I head to Wanda's house, and she realizes that I'm the Trevor who Wally was telling her about. She introduces herself as Wally's cousin, Wanda. Her boyfriend expresses his thanks, and I head back to Mauville City.

I head to Mauville City, and after defeating everybody on Route 118, I decide to leave Mauville City, and continue my quest. However, I notice two Team Aqua grunts at the exit, lost and confused. However, one of them remembers, and says that their mission is at Mt. Chimney. He tells the other grunt not to stay spaced out, otherwise he'll get scolded by Archie. The dumb grunt says that it'll be a long walk going along Route 112 to get there, and he wonders if he should buy lunch first. However, they continue for Mt. Chimney anyway. I then follow them onward.

I have to stop Team Aqua from reaching Mt. Chimney. They might already be there, but if they're not, then I have to stop them!

Current Stats:

Almost everybody leveled up, and instead of one evolution, there were two evolutions, and they both were not during important battles. Beldum evolved into Metang, while Swellington evolved into Swellow. A few Pokemon learned new moves as well, and Zigby has the special role of being an HM Slave.

Chapter IX: Meeting The Winstrates, Aarune The Stoner, The Long Road To Fallabor Town, And The Bad News!

I head to Route 111, and I find a trainer who tells me that he challenged the Winstrate family, but four matches in a row is tough, and they destroyed him. Assuming that the Winstrate family lives in the house nearby, I head there, and I see a man outside. He greets me, and assumes that I'm a traveler. He asks me if I want to take on his family of four in a series of Pokemon battles, and I accept. He then battles me with a Taillow and Zigzagoon, but I beat them fast and easily with Metang.

Victor, which is his name, announces to his family that he's found a pretty strong trainer, and he heads inside, while his wife comes out. She sees how young I am, and recognizes that I'm quite the trainer to beat her husband. She then says that it's her turn to battle, as she sends out Roselia, who easily gets knocked out by Metang. Like her husband, Victoria announces that they've got a strong trainer, and I'm really strong. She heads inside, and her daughter comes out, shocked that I'm stronger than her mom. However, she says that she's strong, too, and battles me to prove it. However, despite Vivi's efforts from Goldeen, Numel, and Shroomish, Metang still prevails. Vivi then starts to cry, and calls for her grandma. She cries back inside, and her grandma comes out, scolding at me. She says that she needs to teach me a lesson, and to prepare to feel the sting of defeat. However, despite Vicky's efforts to win with Meditite, she is no match for Amelia's Disarming Voice.

She says that if I'm not in any hurry, I should visit them for a while. She then heads inside, and so do I. Victor says that I'm the first trainer he's seen deploy Pokemon with such master, but warns me that his son is stronger than me. He says that his son even challenged the Pokemon League. His wife, Victoria, tells me that the family uses a Macho Brace to strengthen their Pokemon more effectively during their training. She then gives it to me as a gift, and says that when it comes to Pokemon battles, they're pretty passionate. Vivi says that her mom is stronger than her dad, she's stronger than her mom, and her grandma's stronger than her. However, her big brother is even stronger than their grandma is. Vicky says that there's no question I'm strong, but if I ever battle her grandson, I'll end up crying in frustration. She says that he's stronger than any other trainer they know, and that he must be challenging the Pokemon League Champion by now. She even says that he could be the Champion already. After visiting, I leave.

I smash the rocks with Zigby, and continue my journey. I battle a pair of interviewers, and keep battling trainers on the road. After I battle everybody, I head to the desert. Unfortunately, I can't access it due to how powerful the storm is, so I head to Route 112, where I find May. She shows me Mt. Chimney, and is amazed to see how big it is... Huge, even. She says that it takes her breath away, too. I know what else can take your breath away... She says that she'd love to take the Cable Car all the way up to the top someday. She notices that my Pokemon seem a bit ragged around the edges, and heals them for me. She also gives me HM04 Strength, and bets that I can find all kinds of ways to use it in the mountains that lie ahead. However, it won't work outside of battle if I don't have a badge from Lavaridge Gym. She realizes that she's nattering away, and says that she's supposed to be on her way to Fallarbor to visit Professor Cozmo. She says she's off for now, but we'll battle next time. She then runs off.

I continue to explore, battling more trainers as I pass through. I take a look at the Cable Car building, but three Team Aqua grunts are blocking it off, just grumbling about absolutely nothing. However, what I do hear is that some of them are at Fallabor Town, which is just through the cave. I head to the cave, which is the Fiery Path, and head down a long, narrow path. When I exit the Fiery Path, I battle a few more trainers, and then find a man standing in front of a tree on Route 111...

It seems that he is smelling the tree... For adventure? He says that it's gotta be a secret spot, and there will be enough space there to build a crazy super place,or his name's not Aarune. He spots me, and when I look at his face, he looks stoned. His small beard with his squinted eyes with dark spots around them indicates that he is indeed a stoner. He asks me what he can do for me, and I didn't ask for anything. He says my heart did, and he says that there's no need to be shy. He introduces himself as Aarune, and shakes my hand. He says that he was born in Unova, and he's twenty-five years old. He spent the last 11 years trying to find himself, and he's just a vagabond in search of dreams. He says that he's wandering around Hoenn, trying to find a place where he really belongs. He tells me about Super-Secret Bases, and is shocked when I don't know about them. He gives me a lecture, explaining that a secret base is the best place ever to chill for me and my palls that I let hang out. He says that since I've got this chance, I ought to learn how to make one. He gives me TM94 Secret Power, and explains that Secret Power can help me find the entrances to hidden places. He says that these entrances are full of adventure, which is why he likes to throw some spice in there and call them secret spots. He shows me the tree he's next to, and says that it's a secret spot. He says that I could just climb right up in this tree, and says that this exactly the kind of place to bust out with Secret Power. He uses Secret Power, and makes an opening. He exclaims that he never gets tired of that, and says that's all there is to finding secret spots and creating the entrance to a secret base. He says that this move is crucial to having a secret base, and tells me not to forget. He takes me inside, and looks around. He tells me that behind each secret spot, I'll find a space like this, and they com in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Basically, whenever I find a secret spot, I ought to at least check it out with Secret Power. He says that someday this could be somebody's secret base, all decorated and filled with goods and friends... He would really love to see that. He nods his head, and wonders who I am. I introduce myself to him, and he apologizes because he just got on such a roll. He gives me one more tip: When I feel happy about something, I ought to express that feeling. Put it in words, and it'll cheer everybody up. He then wants me to tell him what I say when I'm totally thrilled. He asks me that, because he can see already that there's plenty in my future to feel happy about, because that's just how we roll in the secret base life. Every day is full of happy adventures. He says that he could go ahead and make a secret base right here, but... He goes ahead and gives it to me instead. He sets it up for me, and says that it'll be my secret base from now on. It's mine now, so I can decorate it, destroy it, do whatever I want. Whatever floats my boat. He tells me that any decorations I get will be sent to the PC in my secret base automatically, so I can place them around and liven up my base a bit. He shows me the PC, where I'll find all my decorations. He gives me some decorations to start, and tells me that I can visit other people's bases for a it of fun, and if I find a base that belongs to someone else, I can check it out. He says that when I check out someone's base, collect the flag I find next to the PC., because something good might come of it. He then says that he has to hit the road in search of his perfect base, and so he leaves, but vows to see me again. He tells me that if I need him for anything, I can try dropping in at the Secret Base Guild in Fortree.

Since I have my own base, that means I can heal my Pokemon wherever I go! I leave my base, and battle more trainers. After beating them, I head to Route 113, where I find May. She says that the road was pretty long, so she got tired enough that she had to take a little break. Not everybody has the luxury of the Go-Goggles... She then heals my Pokemon for me, and tells me that she's on her way to pay a visit to Professor Cozmo, who's famous for his research on Meteorites. She tells me that he was working on a project with her dad on how Meteorites might affect Pokemon. She turns around, and then back at me, saying that it's not much farther to Fallabor. She says to give it one last push, and begins walking.

I start walking, too, but then I start to notice the sky darkening as ash falls. Eventually, I make it to a house, and I talk to a man, who tells me that volcanic ash can be fashioned into glass. I head inside the Glass Workshop, and talk to a a man who says that he can make glass out of volcanic ash and then use the glass to make items. He gives me the Soot Sack to go and collect ash by walking through it. Once I've collected a good amount, I should find him, and he'll make items for me. After I leave the shop, I defeat the last trainer, and head to Fallabor Town, where the ash is gone.

I head to the Pokemon Center, but a woman blocks the way. I talk to the Bug Catcher, who gives me Honey, and I then talk to the girl at the PC. I introduce myself, and she sees that I am a trainer. She says that I use the Pokemon Storage System she developed, which must mean that she's the creator of the PC. She says that it was a simple deductive process, because I spoke to her because I wanted to access something on the PC. She introduces herself as Lanette, and says she's glad to meet me. She says it's great that I'm using the Storage System, and if I could, I can visit her at her home, which is on Route 114. She leaves, and I heal my Pokemon.

I try to find Professor Cozmo, but May sees me, and asks me for help. She takes me to Professor Cozmo's house, and tells me that Professor Cozmo got abducted by some weird guys calling themselves Team Something or Other... His wife tells me that those shady characters called themselves Team Aqua. She says that they plan to do something with the Meteorite that the professor has been researching, and that the professor is just too gullible. She tells me that if you show the least bit of interest in his research, he would happily go with you anywhere, without question. May then begs for me to help her save him, because they can't be planning to do anything good with Professor Cozmo's research. She says that we have to do something, and says that she's going to head after them right away. She tells me to meet up with her at Meteor Falls, and says that she's counting on me. She leaves right away, and I talk to Professor Cozmo's wife, who tells me that Meteor Falls is just past Route 114. With that said, I leave and head there right away.

Don't worry, Professor Cozmo! We'll save you!

Chapter X: Professor Cozmo's Abduction, Team Aqua's Plans At Mt. Chimney, The Soothing Lavaridge City, And The Fiery-Hot Flannery!

I head to Route 114, and head inside a house. I talk to the boy, and I get TM28 Dig. This must be a digger's house. I go inside the tunnel, and the man notices my Metang. He says that it reminds him of the Devon president's son, Steven. He says that Steven traveled all the way to Kalos, crossing three oceans to find the white Pokemon and some kind of stone. He says that's what I'd expect from someone who calls himself a wandering stone collector.

I leave, and find a man who gives me TM05 Roar. I then proceed to battle several trainers, and I then visit Lanette. She apologizes that everything is so cluttered, and says that when she gets engrossed in research, things end up this way. She begs me to keep it a secret, and gives me a Lotad Doll for my base. She also sets up "Organize Boxes" for me to the top of the menu for the PC. With her generous help, I leave.

I battle more trainers, and then start to climb the mountain, where I see May. She looks across a crater, and sees that Team Aqua is taking the professor to Meteor Falls. She then runs after them. I follow the craters, and battle more trainers. After passing a huge crater and battling one last trainer, I find the cave leading to Gravi-- I MEAN Meteor Falls.

When I enter Meteor Falls, I find that the place is HUGE. The waterfall is just as huge, too! I cross the bridge, and find Team Aqua harassing Professor Cozmo. However, the girl looks different than the average grunt... May demands them to let the professor go, and they turn to face us. The girl is surprised that May's fighting back, and wonders who she is. May sees me, and is glad that I came. She tells me that we've got to save Professor Cozmo from these people, and she says that there's two of them, and two of us. She then begs me to battle together with her, and help defeat these guys. I say yes, and she thanks me. The girl member steps forward, and says that even she, Team Aqua Admin Shelly, has been made a fool. She says that brats who don't know how to watch their mouths will be punished, and she won't forgive me if I cower in fear, either. She laughs, and May says that this will be her first time battling beside me, and that she's got to do her best.

Let's go, Team Aqua! Give Professor Cozmo back!

Aqua Admin Shelly sends out Mightyena, the grunt sends out Grimer, May sends out Wailmer, and I send out Wolfgang, who strikes at Mightyena with Thunder Fang. Grimer gets hit by Wailmer's Water Pulse, but Wailmer gets poisoned by Grimer's Sludge. Wolfgang decides to knock Grimer down with Assurance, but Wailmer goes down from Mightyena's Snarl. May sends out Shroomish, who gets confused by Mightyena's Swagger. We gang up on Mightyena until it gets knocked out by Wolfgang's Assurance, while Shroomish snaps out of confusion. Shelly sends out Carvanha, who goes down from Wolfgang's Thunder Fang. With Team Aqua defeated, we win the battle!

Shelly is shocked, and wonders if she went too easy on us. May is happy that we did it, and Shelly explains that if the tremendous energy of Mt. Chimney and the Meteorite are combined, then Team Aqua can take a giant step toward the world that they dream of. She exclaims that they won't let ignorant little brats get in their way, and somebody asks her if mere children are giving her so much trouble. He says that she, and Admin of Team Aqua... May wonders who's there, and a man in red arrives with two people in hoods. Shelly isn't surprised, because Team Magma decided to show their faces, and that there's nothing to be done about it. She tells the smirking grunt to grab the Meteorite, and he willingly obeys. He is pushed to the edge, and May tries to save him. However, they are tricked, as the Team Aqua grunt grabs the Meteorite. Shelly laughs victoriously, and says that it's time to rush to Mt. Chimney. She and the grunt retreat, while the man with glasses is thinking. One of the Magma members tells Maxie, their leader, that they must give chase to Team Aqua or else. He thinks, and approaches me.

He introduces himself as Maxie, and he leads an organization known as Team Magma. He explains that they work for the future happiness of all mankind, and from what he has seen here, it appears that I am working against their rivals in Team Aqua. He says I can amuse myself with those Team Aqua fools, but warns me to be careful that I do not impede their goals. Whether I be child or grown, oppose them in the slightest, and he, the great Maxie, will show no mercy. He and his members leave, and May has no idea what's going on anymore with all these people. She is shocked for a minute, and asks the professor if he is okay. He thinks, and seems to be out of it still. May tells me to shake off what happened, because she's got to get the professor back to his lab in Fallarbor. She calms the professor down, and we leave Meteor Falls, heading back to Fallarbor Town.

We head back to his home, and his wife is happy to see him. He says that thanks to us, he has somehow returned. May wonders what Team Aqua is going to do with the Meteorite, and says that from the look of them, they kind of seem like bad guys, but... She warns me that we've both got to be careful. However, she's not worried a bit if it's me and my team. Professor Cozmo then thanks us, because we truly saved him from disaster. He gives me TM23 Smack Down as a small form of repayment. May thanks him, and asks me what I'm going to do next. Oh man... She totally digs me. She's thinking of checking out the next gym on her list, and that it's the one in Mauville City. ...Are you serious? You did not get that badge yet? Then how on EARTH did you get here, if you can't use Rock Smash?! She asks me to come with her to Mauville. I ALREADY GOT MY BADGE!!! Oh wait... It's so I can get to Mt. Chimney. Let's go!

We head to Mauville City, and May tells me that Mt. Chimney is up ahead. I already knew that... You showed me, remember? She says that's the place those nut jobs at Meteor Falls were talking about going to. She tells me to be careful, because it might get dangerous around here. I heal my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center, and head to Mt. Chimney.

When I get to the Cable Car building, I see that the Team Aqua grunts are no longer guarding it. I head inside, and get on the Cable Car. It's a long way, but I eventually make it. I talk to a trainer, and he says that both pairs of women at the base and the peak are two sets of twins. When I get out, I see that Team Magma and Team Aqua are fighting each other. I get to the middle, and see three Aqua grunts ganging up on Maxie. He challenges three, as they battle him. I continue onward, and battle the Aqua members that are not battling Magma grunts. After I beat the grunt, I find a secret passage that makes me close to the lava, but I find TM59 Incinerate. I see a metallic bridge, where Shelly is at the beginning of it. She sees me, and asks me what I'm doing here. She asks if I followed them all the way here from Meteor Falls, and congratulates me. She admits that I'm quite the trainer, and... She says to Archie, her, and all of Team Aqua, my existence is annoying. She says that the world Archie dreams of would be a utopia for Pokemon, and that she can't let me get in the way of someone who's pushing on toward a perfect world. She tells me to prepare myself, for this will finally be the time that she leaves that cute face of mine swollen and crying. She called me cute...

Not if I defeat you first!

Shelly sends out Grimer, while I send out Metang, who knocks out Grimer in one hit with Zen Headbutt. She sends out Carvanha, while I send out Mr. Muffintops, who destroys Carvanha with Electro Ball. Surprisingly, she doesn't have her Mightyena with her, which means I win the battle!

Shelly is shocked, and asks me if I upped my game even more since last time. She calls me a brat with a bright future, and says that she and her Pokemon don't have any strength left to fight. She tells me to go and be destroyed by Archie. I approach Archie, and he exclaims that the great swell of power that sleeps deep in the magma is the key to controlling the super-ancient Pokemon's power. He notices me, and remembers me from what happened back in Slateport Museum. He sees that I made it here to him, which means I swept right past Shelly. He then laughs maniacally, and figures that I was a big deal the first time he laid eyes on me, but just laughs. He says that since I'm the real deal, he supposes he can let me in on just what's going on. He explains that the Meteorite that he just got from good old Professor Cozmo back there... With the right bit of work, Team Aqua can turn it into a real, nice, valuable bit. He plans on making it a Mega Stone, or even a Key Stone. He says that as long as we're here in Mt. Chimney... He laughs, and tells me to look what he nearly went and did. He says that if he gives away all his secrets, all the thrill would be gone from our relationship. He then decides to leave me hanging here, and says that it's not the details that matter anyhow. He says that they've got a thing they gotta do, and from their point of view, I'm a dirty villain who's gotten in their way one time too many. He declares that he's still leader of Team Aqua, so it's the rope's end for me and my Pokemon. He challenges me to battle, and we begin.

You're the villain, Archie... And I'll prove it!

Aqua Leader Archie sends out Mightyena, while I send out Mr. Muffintops. Unfortunately, Electro Ball doesn't do a thing, as Mightyena Roars Mr. Muffintops away, and I send out Amelia, who actually does some damage, knocking out Mightyena with Draining Kiss. Archie sends out Sharpedo, while I send out Mr. Muffintops again. Mr. Muffintops shocks Sharpedo with Electro Ball, but gets confused from Sharpedo's Swagger. However, with another Electro Ball, Sharpedo goes down. Archie sends out Golbat, while I keep Mr. Muffintops out, and have her use Electro Ball one more time. Unfortunately, it doesn't do much damage, and Mr. Muffintops goes down from confusion and Wing Attack from Golbat. I send out Wolfgang, who knocks out Golbat with Thunder Fang. With Archie's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle!

Archie laughs, and says that he knew I was the real deal, which means... He won't hold back this time, because he's itching to use Mega Evolution. He says it's been ages since they got to let loose. However, he gets a call, and says that he's going to have to ask me to hold that thought, because he's gotta use his time-out. He talks to Matt, who is probably another Aqua Admin. He says that he has the worst timing. However, he gets notified about Mt. Pyre, and talks about an orb of some kind. He then says that he's on his way, and hangs up. He apologizes to me, and says that when you're a grown-up, sometimes things crop up. He says we gotta put our battle on hold until next time. He gives me the Meteorite, and says it should help keep me busy until we settle the score. He tells me to have fun with it, and says to meet again with him somewhere, because he'll be sure to remember my face. He and the rest of Team Aqua retreat, and Maxie and his grunts approach me. He remembers me from Meteor Falls, and sees that I am not to be trifled with, if I repelled Archie in battle. He wonders what Archie is up to now, and is surprised that he abandoned the Meteorite that he sought so persistently. However, he realizes that Archie has confirmed the existence of the orbs at last. He finds himself outmaneuvered once again, and calls it a terrible miscalculation. He and Team Magma also leave, and I also leave.

I head down Mt. Chimney, and see an old woman. She heals my Pokemon, and tells me that Lavaridge Town is just down this mountain route. I head down the Jagged Pass, and with the Acro Bike, I find TM43 Flame Charge and TM69 Rock Polish. I battle the trainers, and collect the items. When I get everything done, I head down to Lavaridge Town.

When I get to Lavaridge Town, I make a guy cry and give me TM75 Swords Dance. I also receive an egg from an old lady. I then heal my Pokemon, and enter the gym.

When I head inside, I talk to the gym guy, who tells me that Lavaridge's Gym Leader Flannery uses Fire-type Pokemon. Her passion for Pokemon burns stronger and hotter than a volcano. He warns me not to get too close to her or I might get burned. He advises that I hose her down with water and then go for it. Flannery getting wet... That's actually not a bad idea... I mean, cool off the gym leader, and they're easier to beat. I step on a tile, and I fall through the floor! In the basement, I choose the right tile, and find myself battling a trainer. I beat the trainer, and continue. I head down, and some people hide in the hot springs! I also battle ANOTHER Karate Girl with a Meditite. WHY ARE THERE KARATE GIRLS WITH MEDITITES?! SAME WITH NINJA BOYS AND KOFFINGS!!! Once I've beaten the trainers, I then find Flannery. DANG, she's hot. Literally. Here's a tip: Never use the panel that's closest to you. Always use the farthest one to get to places.

I talk to Flannery, who tries so hard to be confident, as she loudly welcomes me. She stumbles, but says that I've done well to make it this far. She fumbles as she says that she is honored to be serving as the Gym Leader of... She thinks, and loudly introduces herself, and that she's in charge here. She cowardly says that I'd better not underestimate her just because she's only been leader a short time, because with the skills inherited from her grandfather, she's gonna demonstrate the hot moves she's honed in this land. She calms down, then unleashes her fury as the battle begins.

You seem nervous... Have a chill pill!

Flannery sends out Slugma, while I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Slugma with Thunder Wave, then knocks it down with Electro Ball. However, it survives due to Slugma using Light Screen. After another Electro Ball, Slugma goes down. Flannery sends out Numel, while I send out Sebastian, who knocks out Numel with a critical hit Leaf Blade. Flannery sends out Torkoal, while I send out Amelia, who confuses Torkoal with Confuse Ray. She then builds up with Calm Mind, but then Torkoal uses Overheat. I heal Amelia with a Super Potion, and Amelia confuses Torkoal again. Unfortunately, Amelia gets knocked out by Torkoal's Body Slam, so I send out Mr. Muffintops again, using the same technique as before. Fortunately, this works, as Torkoal survives, but knocks itself out from confusion. With Flannery's flame extinguished, I win the battle!

Flannery realizes that she was trying too hard, and tells me that she's only recently became a gym leader. She realizes that she was trying too hard to be someone she's not, and when she doesn't act like herself, Pokemon that battle at her side get confused. She thanks me for teaching her that, and gives me the badge.

*Trevor received the Heat Badge!*

Flannery explains that if I have a Heat Badge, all Pokemon up to level 50, even those I get in trades from other people, will obey me completely. It also lets Pokemon use the HM move Strength outside of battle. She also gives me TM50 Overheat as a token of appreciation. She says that Overheat is a Fire-type move that inflicts serious damage on the target. However, it also sharply cuts the special attack of the Pokemon using it, so it might not be suitable for longer battles. She then says that my power reminds her of someone... She realizes that I battle like Norman, the gym leader of Petalburg. I am his son, after all. With a new badge in hand, I leave.

As soon as I leave the gym, May shows up, and is relieved to see me in one piece. She says that the last time she saw me was right after battling those Team Whatsit people. She was a bit worried, thinking about what might have happened to me after that. Awww, she cares about me! She is shocked that I battled them AGAIN after that, and I BEAT them. She compliments that I'm really something else, me and my team. She is completely impressed! Awww yeah... She's TOTALLY checking me out now... She sees the Meteorite that I got back from them, and realizes that she wanted to give me something. She gives me the Go-Goggles. About dang time! Go-Go-Gadget-Goggles! She says that if I put on those Go-Goggles, I'll be all set heading into the desert on Route 111. She also notices that I have Lavaridge's gym badge, and that I beat Flannery. She sees that I'm training my Pokemon right, and says that next up will be challenging my dad, Norman, in Petalburg. She says that she's also headed to Petalburg's Gym next, too. How on EARTH did you get the third badge so quick, AND the fourth badge?! She asks me if I want to go back to Petalburg together with her, and since I like a good romantic walk with May, why not? Let's hit the road!

We make it all the way back to Petalburg City, and May wishes me luck with taking on Norman, and that she's cheering for me. She leaves, probably for Littleroot Town, while I head inside.

You're going down, Dad! Gonna get wrecked old-school!

Chapter XI: Family Bonding With Dad Norman, A Father's Sadness, The Desert With No Name, And The Lonely Southern Island!

I head inside the gym, and talk to the gym guy. He says that the doors in this gym open when I beat the awaiting Trainers. However, the doors in this room are already open, so I can't attack him. He tells me that the trainers of Petalburg Gym use all kinds of items. He says that the door at the left leads to the Speed Room, and the door at the right leads to the Accuracy Room. He tells me that the room's name will be on the door, so I should choose carefully, and once I've chosen the door, I go for it. I decide to head through all of them, just to train my Pokemon. The rooms are: Speed Room, Accuracy Room, Zero Reduction Room, Defense Room, Recovery Room, Strength Room, and the One-Hit KO room. I defeat just about everybody, and I enter the Gym Leader's Room.

When I enter the room, I see my father looking out the huge window, meditating. He sees that I got four badges now, and opens his eyes, saying that as he promised, we will have a Pokemon battle. He turns around, and I approach him. He says that it makes him happier than he can really describe. That being able to have a real battle with his own son like this. However, a battle is a battle, as he vows that he will do everything within his power as a Gym Leader to win. He tells me that I'd better give it my best shot, too. He bows, and the battle begins.

Let the real fight begin. Come at me, dad!

Norman sends out Slaking, while I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Slaking with Thunder Wave. Mr. Muffintops survives a Retaliate from Slaking, so she knocks out Slaking in two turns with Electro Ball. Norman sends out Vigoroth, who knocks out Mr. Muffintops with Retaliate just after she paralyzes it with Thunder Wave. I send out Metang, who strikes at Vigoroth with Zen Headbutt. While Norman heals his Vigoroth with a Hyper Potion, I revive Mr. Muffintops with a revive. After a few more hits, Vigoroth goes down. Norman sends out his stronger Slaking, while I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Slaking with Thunder Wave, but goes down from Chip Away after nearly knocking Slaking out. I send out Sebastian, who finishes the job with Mega Drain. With Norman's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle!

Norman is speechless, and can't believe his own eyes that he lost to me. He tells me that I've come this far, and that's how it is. He then gives me the badge.

*Trevor received the Balance Badge!*

Norman tells me that having that badge will ensure that Pokemon up to level 60 will obey me, even if I received them in trades. He says that Pokemon that know the HM move Surf will also be able to travel over water now. He also gives me TM67 Retaliate as his gift to me, and tells me to use it well. He explains that Retaliate will allow me to take revenge for a fallen team member, and that its power will be doubled if I have a Pokemon use it in the very next move right after an ally faints. He hopes that me and my Pokemon will be diligent enough to use it wisely. He sighs, and turns away. He says that as the gym leader, he can't express how frustrated he is. But as a father, it makes him both happy and a little sad, which is odd. He looks up for a while, and then smiles, saying that he'll see me on my way. He says we should go, and so we leave the gym.

We get out of the gym, and we see Wally and his dad. Wally sees us, and says that he hasn't seen the two of me in some time, which is a coincidence because he just came back to his parents' house to grab something he'd forgotten. Norman sees that Wally has been working hard, and that it's clear even without a battle. Didn't Wally battle you before I did? It even said so on the statues! Wally is shocked, and asks if he really thinks so. He thanks him, and says that's so nice of him to say. His dad says that Wally's health has thoroughly improved, and it's all thanks to me and my father. He says that we helped Wally catch his first Pokemon that day, and it's because of us that he has a partner of his own now. He says that partner is why he's grown so strong, and that's his firm belief. He thanks us, but realizes that sometimes words aren't enough, and that it would delight him if I'd take HM03 Surf. He says that if I'm cleared to use Surf outside of battle, I'll be able to cross the seas with my Pokemon. Norman turns to me, and says that considering how much me and Wally have grown, I should be able to handle what lies beyond the sea on Route 118 now. He says that there are far stronger Pokemon and Trainers waiting for me on Hoenn's east coast, and tells me to continue my journey and adventures there. He knows I'll do my best, and Wally walks over and listens to his words too. He promises that he will do his best to become as strong as me, and tells his dad that he better start out. He says that he's off for now, and he'll see him next time. Wally turns to me, and says that we should go together. Norman tells Wally that he looks forward to seeing him and his Pokemon grow stronger together, and he tells me to take care of myself out there. He tells me not to forget to drop by Littleroot to visit my mother from time to time, and Wally says that we're off. Wally's dad tells us to be safe out there, and Norman tells us to learn a lot.

We head out, and then there's a sentimental scene between the two dads. They're silent for a bit, but then Wally's dad speaks up. He walks over to Norman, and says that he doesn't know what it is, but seeing his little boy all grown up and going off on his own... As a father, it makes him happy and a little sad. Norman laughs, and says that's a coincidence, because he caught himself thinking the same thing. Wally's dad is surprised, and says if only his boy keeps growing strong and healthy like that, he wouldn't ask for anything else. Norman agrees, and knows exactly what he means.

After hearing that sentimental stuff (we were close by!), we walk next to the Pokemon Center, and Wally checks his AreaNav where Route 118 is. He sees that it's the one east of Mauville City, and says that since we're both here anyway, we should go to Mauville together. He plans on going to check out Route 118 like my dad said, and we head to Mauville City. We head to Mauville City, and we're tired out from running. Wally agrees, and says that it's pretty far. He looks at the road ahead to Route 118, and wonders what kind of Pokemon he'll meet there. He says that he can't wait to find out, and says goodbye, because he's going straight to Route 118. He says that he wants to have a battle next time we meet, and promises on that. He says that I can't break a promise, and he leaves.

Without further ado, I head to the desert in Route 111. Go-Go-Gadget Goggles! I battle the trainers there, as well as take TM37 Sandstorm at the bottom of the desert. I see two fossils at the north-east corner of the desert, but I can only take one. The Root, and the Claw Fossils. I take the Claw Fossil, and the Root Fossil sinks into the ground, never to see the light of day again.

I decide to head to Rustboro City so I can revive the fossil. I head through Rusturf Tunnel, and I find the researcher I helped back in Petalburg Woods and in Rusturf Tunnel. He says that Captain Stern informed them that the case arrived safely, and he thanks me. He says that if he were a rain cloud, he would shower me with gratitude and hail me as a hero. He bears the good news that recently, their company developed a new kind of Pokeball, and as a token of their appreciation for all my help, they would like to give me one. He gives me a Repeat Ball, and tells me to try it out. He heads back to the building, and I follow him. I revive the Claw Fossil into a Anorith, and I decide to visit the president of Devon Corp. He sees my Intriguing Stone, and realizes that it is actually a Pidgeotite. He says that to be carrying around a Mega Stone like that, it looks like I'm also a bit of a connoisseur. He then notices my Metang, and says that there cannot be more than one such specimen in the world. Actually, there is... He compliments on how pure and sublime it is, and its sparkle is indeed the ultimate. He says that he would love to see how it would stand up to Steven's Beldum. With that said, I leave.

I head to Route 118, and Surf on Miror B, who I had taught Surf to. When I get to the dock, I continue my journey, until I see Steven. He sees me, and remembers me from Granite Cave. He then asks me all of these questions, and wants to know what I think of them. Just as he's about to leave, a Pokemon roars, and Steven recognizes it as Latios. He asks Latios if it wants us to soar somewhere with it, and so we hop on it, flying away to a mysterious southern island.

When we land, Steven thanks Latios, and wonders what's going on here. He assumes that it relates to Mega Evolution, and says that we should be going. When I take the lead and try to head inside, I hear a voice. It then gives a message...

"Those whose memories fade seek to carve them in their hearts..."

I enter the forest, and Steven follows. We then notice a beautiful red Pokemon just like Latios, and Steven recognizes it as Latias. He says that it's beautiful, and if he were to describe such beauty in terms of a stone, it would be a Sun Stone, but changes his mind, and says that its brilliance is like that of a Dawn Stone. He says that it is as fantastic as a Steel-type Pokemon. Latias cries, as it warns us that poachers are behind us. We turn around, and it's none other than Team Aqua! Latias noticed they were coming, and that's why it called on us. The big, muscular man is confused, and wonders who we are. The grunt reports to Mr. Matt that I'm the kid who keeps getting in their way. However, the rather alluring gentleman with me... She wonders, and feels like she should know him from somewhere, like a contest star or something. Matt shrugs it off, and says that he has no time to worry about that. He introduces himself as Team Aqua Admin Matt, and what he wants from us is that Latias behind us. However, he also wants the Mega Stone, for they of Team Aqua are gonna need the transcendent power of Mega Evolution to achieve their ambitions. He says that if we get out of their way, they won't rough us up. I refuse, and Steven gives me full points for the correct answer. He says that he'll take part in this battle as well, and tells me that we'll protect Latias from these beasts together. He says that we cannot allow Latias or even a Mega Stone to fall into the hands of such villains. Matt laughs, and says that if we're really that stupid, then he has no choice but to squash us.

You're not getting your hands on Latias OR the Mega Stone, you crooks!

Aqua Admin sends out Sharpedo, the Aqua grunt sends out Grimer, Steven sends out Metang, and I send out Amelia. Sharpedo confuses Metang with Swagger, while Amelia gives Sharpedo a Draining Kiss. Grimer attacks Metang as well, while Amelia is confused by Sharpedo's Swagger. However, she gives another Draining Kiss, and Sharpedo is down. I switch Amelia with Metang, and Steven's Metang snaps out of confusion, knocking Grimer down with Zen Headbutt. With Team Aqua defeated, we win the battle!

Matt is proud that he lost, but then... Amelia evolves into... Gardevoir! But wait! Miror B. also evolves into... Lombre! The Aqua grunt backs up, and Matt sees that I'm strong. He says that I'm an interesting punk, too. He says that he loves interesting, strong dudes, which is why he loves his bro, Archie. He tells me that's why he's gonna start loving me from now on, too. I just want May or Lisia... He says that next time he sees me, he'll smash me up real good. I NEED AN ADULT!!! Oh wait, I AM an adult. BUT I AM A KID IN THIS GAME!!! Oh wait, if I'm an adult, I can very well be an adult in Pokemon, regardless what I look like. I mean, I have the Pokemon to back me up, right? He tells the grunt that they're leaving, and she obeys.

The two leave, and Steven says that I did good work. He then heals up my Pokemon for me, and says that I performed spectacularly. He tells me that we were able to protect both this wondrous Pokemon and its Mega Stone, thanks to me. Latias expresses her appreciation, and Steven says that it looks as though Latias may have also recognized me as a Trainer worthy of its trust. He tells me that Latias is trying to offer me its allegiance, and that it is trying to show that it wants to go with me on my journey. He tells me to hold out my hand to it, and so I do.

*Latias joined my team!*

I send Miror B. back to the PC, and name Latias Ruby because it is red. It is also holding a piece of Latiasite. Where is the REST of the Latiasite if it is holding a PIECE? Latias goes into a Pokeball, and Steven gives me the Mega Bracelet! I put it on, and he says that with the Mega Bracelet that he just gave me and the Mega Stones that a Pokemon may hold, my Pokemon will be able to achieve a powerful boost, quite unlike any usual form of Evolution, but only if I am bound by great affection. He says that I will be able to achieve Mega Evolution. He suggests that I try it with Latias the next time that I happen to have the chance in battle. He explains that Mega Evolution is a phenomenon that has long been shrouded in mystery. He asks all sorts of questions, and explains that the process by which bonds between Pokemon and people manifest in tangible power. He wonders how we explain it, and hopes that the Mega Bracelet he just gave me might bring us one step closer to finding the answer to these questions. He then says that we should be heading back, because Latios is waiting so patiently for us. We head over to Latios, hop on it, and fly back to Route 118.

When we get back to Route 118, Steven thanks me for my help, and Latios tells me to take good care of Latias. Latios then flies away, and Steven says that in the end, I was a far greater help than he expected I might be. He expects that me and my team will be able to best both Route 119 ahead and even the Fortree Gym beyond that. He says that he'll be curious to see how much stronger I might grow by the next time we meet, and bids his farewell. He leaves, and I battle more trainers. I also get a Good Rod from a fisherman. However, I also run into Gabby and Ty again, and they interview me again. After that, I head to Route 119.

Time to get my next gym badge! Fortree City, here I come!

Current Stats:

Two new evolutions have happened. First, Amelia evolves into Gardevoir, and Miror B. evolves into Lombre. All in the same battle! A few Pokemon also learned a few new moves, too. Also, Ruby joins the team!

Chapter XII: The Stormy Road To Fortree City, Love In The Rain, And Team Aqua's Invasion At The Weather Institute!

After battling the trainers on Route 118, I head north to Route 119, where I see very tall grass, and that it's raining. I battle a group of bug catchers called the Mimic Circle, and I beat them. After that, I find a rest house, and heal my Pokemon. I climb the mountainside, and battle two trainers. I beat them, then cross a large bridge. I encounter more trainers, and I defeat them. Some trainers even hide in fake trees that are more obvious than before. I finally battle a few bird catchers, and see a large building. On the right, I see three Team Aqua grunts guarding the bridge. Shouldn't they be concerned that I'm on their side of the bridge? They complain about guard duty (Much like the guards who complain about guard duty in Skyrim...), and one even says that they're forced to stand lookout while the Admins are off having private time. I wonder how much fun THOSE two are having... They realize I'm there, but they don't do anything but beg that I don't enter the Weather Institute, which is the building to my left. Ignoring the grunts, I head inside.

I head inside the Weather Institute, and the lady at the front desk tells me that there seems to be some kind of disturbance on the second floor. She says that she's a professional, and says that she's not easily rattled. I look around, and I see Team Aqua grunts everywhere, with the exception of a little boy in the corner in the bedroom. When I battle the Aqua grunts, they reveal that Archie got interested in the research they have going here, so he sent them out to take it. I also hear that Team Aqua is planning to use the information in order to retrieve the super-ancient Pokemon. I beat the two grunts on the first floor, and I head to the second floor, where I find more Aqua grunts, as well as Shelly, who is holding three people hostage. She already has the results of their research, and the researcher is cursing her for it. He demands her to give them back, going up to her, only to get slapped in the face. DANG, can she slap a guy... I certainly hope I don't get slapped like that... One of the other men asks him if he's all right, and Shelly says that she'll give it back. She realizes that the awakening of the super-ancient Pokemon will bring about extreme weather, and says that if this happened all over the world, what would become of Pokemon, not to mention people.

I battle the rest of the Aqua grunts, and then I confront Shelly. She is surprised to see me, and says that she even runs into me when she's not on the clock. She wonders why that is, and says that maybe we're destined to be together... Okay, don't be a tease. She then gets angry, and says that she's feeling so empty and downhearted right now, she can't get her head straight. She tells me that I should help her take her mind off it, and says that the way me and my Pokemon battle so straightforwardly and sincerely with such hope, it makes her so mad. The battle then begins.

Okay, Shelly. Calm down. In fact, why not take a chill pill?

Shelly sends out Sharpedo, which she evolved after her defeat on Mt. Chimney, while I send out Sebastian. Two Mega Drains do the job, as Sharpedo then goes down. With Shelly's Sharpedo defeated, I win the battle! I wonder where her other Pokemon went?

Shelly says that tired her out, as I won. She's acting like we did something else. Pfft. However, something happens with Sebastian, as he starts to evolve into... Sceptile! With Sebastian now a fully grown Sceptile, I don't have to evolve my main team for the time being. Shelly is silent, and says that she feels a bit more relaxed. She thanks me, and says that as a token of her gratitude, she'll tell me one thing...

"When Team Aqua's... No, when the illustrious Archie's ambitions have been realized, the world will truly return to its beginnings, to before the birth of anything at all..."

She tells me to think for myself about what to do when I'm up against that reality. She says that she still hasn't figured out for herself what's wrong and what's right. She says her goodbye, although she's sure she'll run into me again, though. As she leaves, she says that Archie is probably on the way to Mt. Pyre, so she... She heads off, and Team Aqua retreats. One of the three hostages thanks me, and says that I helped save them from quite a pinch. The other hostage checks on the researcher, who got slapped from before. The researcher says that he's alright, and says that truly was a slap in the face. The gentleman wonders what Team Aqua could hope to gain by investigating the extreme weather patterns of thousands of years ago. He realizes that he must thank me properly for my help. He says that it might seem an odd way of rewarding me, but he gives me a Castform as his thanks. He explains that Castform are Pokemon that change from the current weather, and says that they've been living with them in the institute, helping them with their research.

As for the data those ruffians were seeking... They wanted to know about the extreme weather conditions that ruled thousands of years ago because of the two super-ancient Pokemon. He tells me that one of that pair was the Legendary Pokemon we know as mighty Kyogre... By absorbing the energy that abounds in the natural world, Kyogre transformed itself--or so it is said. The transformed Kyogre caused so much disturbance to the weather patterns that the world was assaulted by torrential rains, and the seas rose around the planet. He says that they refer to this transformation as Primal Reversion, and that its result is the terror we call Primal Kyogre. The man explains that Primal Reversion is a possible form of Evolution, like and yet not like Mega Evolution... Or so it has been theorized. However, it has never been achieved by any Pokemon other than the super-ancient Legendary Pokemon, and so it has been largely forgotten as a method of Evolution. The researcher interrupts, and says that they'll be heading downstairs now, but I should talk to them when I have a moment, because they want to thank me as well. The two head downstairs, and I follow.

As I head downstairs, I talk to the people, and the scientist gives me a Rocky Helmet, which helped him when he got slapped. Apparently, he WANTED to get slapped, just to test it. I also get the Icy Rock from the lady at the desk. After I put Cassidy the Castform in the PC, I leave.

As I leave the Weather Institute, I see that Team Aqua is no longer blocking the bridge, which means I can safely cross. I cross the bridge, and just as I'm about to climb up the steps, May shows up! She asks me where I have been hiding because she's been looking all over for me. However, she notices the Mega Bracelet on my wrist, and she asks me where I got it because she says it's a pretty fancy-looking bracelet. I tell her that it's a Mega Bracelet, and she sees that I can use it for Mega Evolution. She says that I can keep getting even closer to my Pokemon, and says that some guys have all the luck. However, she declares that she's not about to lose to me and some accessory, and says that we should see who's best in battle. She asks me if my Pokemon are all ready, but before I have time to say anything, she says that they are. The battle then begins.

I still have to heal my Pokemon, you know... Oh well, my Pokemon should be fine. Let's go, May!

May sends out Wailmer, while I send out Ruby. I Mega Evolve her, and she strikes with Mist Ball. However, it only knocks Wailmer down to its last health, but May doesn't even heal it, allowing Ruby to knock it out with another Mist Ball. May sends out Combusken, while I send out Sebastian, who keeps striking with Dual Chop, while Combusken builds up with Bulk Up. However, Combusken goes down, as Sebastian manages to land a critical hit Dual Chop. May sends out Shroomish, while I send out Ruby again, who needs the experience points more than the others. She strikes at Shroomish with Mist Ball, and it knocks out Shroomish in two hits. With no other Pokemon on May's team, I win the battle!

May sees that I'm strong as she expected, and says that I did battle her like she asked, so she'll give me a reward. Is it what I think it is? Love is in the rain! However, she gives me HM02 Fly instead. Dang it... But this is just as good! She explains that if I use Fly, my Pokemon will carry me back to anywhere I've been before. However, I must have the gym badge from Fortree City to use Fly outside of battle. She says that's the most important bit, so I shouldn't forget. She tells me that maybe I should Fly home and visit Littleroot sometimes because she bets that my mom worries about me. Thank you for caring, May, that's really thoughtful! She then says goodbye, and promises that next time she won't lose. She leaves for Fortree City, and I follow. I battle the boy standing behind a fake tree, and head into the peaceful Fortree City.

Why is Team Aqua so persistent on trying to expand the sea? It just doesn't make sense! Oh well, time to get my gym badge!

Current Stats:

Another evolution takes place, as Sebastian evolves into Sceptile! The team leveled up quite a bit, and some learned new moves. It's also about time that I finished this chapter! Since I've finally beaten the entirety of Oblivion, I will now be able to continue my quests.

Chapter XIII: The Peaceful Fortree City, Steven's Return, And The Pilot Of Flight Winona!

As soon as I get to Fortree City, I heal my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center, and head to the gym. However, an invisible obstacle blocks my path, and so I explore the city. However, as I climb down a ladder, I find Steven pondering to himself. He mumbles that a specific Pokemon can be found up on Route 120, and he heads there. I follow, and battle some trainers. I even battle Gabby and Ty again, and beat them. After beating another trainer, I cross the very long bridge, and find Steven in the middle of it. He sees that we meet again, and asks me how it's been. He asks me if I have been using the Mega Bracelet wisely, but takes it back, saying that he needn't even ask, not when it comes to me and my team. He looks in a direction, and asks me if I notice that there's something here I can't see. He says that if he were to use a device on the invisible obstacle... But instead of describing it, he shows me, as it would be more entertaining. He asks me if me and my Pokemon are ready for battle, and we are. I am, and he gives me the Devon Scope, which I put on, and it reveals a Kecleon! It battles me, but I knock it out with Ruby, defeating it. After the battle, Steven introduces the device as the Devon Scope, a fantastic piece of tech that lets me see Pokemon in hiding. He tells me to consider it a gift from him, as he wants me to take it. However, he also gives me the Sceptilite, which is one of his top five favorite stones in existence. I wonder what the other four are... He tells me that he has no doubt that my Sceptile will like it, too, and says that he likes to see Trainers and Pokemon who are trying their best, which is why he likes me so much. However, he notices something in my bag, and says that it just shone for a moment. He is sure that he sensed the power of some kind of stone, and wonders if it's a Meteorite. However, he shrugs it off, saying it couldn't be. He tells me to meet again with him someday, and he leaves. With that said, I head back to Fortree City.

When I head back to Fortree City, I head to the gym, and put on the Devon Scope. As expected, a Kecleon becomes visible, but runs away. I head behind the gym, and pick up TM86 Grass Knot. With a new TM, I head inside the gym.

When I head inside the gym, wind is blowing everywhere. I see on the statue that Wally beat the gym already, so now I have to catch up. I talk to the gym guy, and he explains that the gym leader Winona is a master of Flying-type Pokemon. He tells me that she's waiting at the back of the gym, behind the rotating doors, waiting for new challengers who are trying to take wing. I push through the doors, and battle each and every gym trainer with Mr. Muffintops, who destroys every single flying type with Thunder Wave and Electro Ball. The gym is relatively easy, so there's not much to be explained. After defeating the last trainer, I head up the stairs, and find Winona embracing the wind. She introduces herself as Winona, the leader of the Fortree City gym. She explains that she has become one with bird Pokemon and has soared the skies, and that however grueling the battle, they will triumph with grace. She stops balancing, and tells me to witness the elegant choreography of her bird Pokemon and her. She spins to face me, and the battle begins.

It's time to smack you down a peg, Winona. Let's fly!

Winona sends out Swellow, while I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Swellow with Thunder Wave, and then knocks it out with Electro Ball. Winona sends out Altaria, so I send out Sebastian, who I Mega Evolve. He strikes Altaria down with Dual Chop, but it survives by its last bit of health. Winona heals it with a Hyper Potion. Sebastian continues the assault with Dual Chop, while Altaria Roosts and Dragon Breaths. However, Altaria eventually goes down from another Dual Chop, so Winona sends out Pelipper, who goes down quickly from two Mega Drains from Sebastian. Winona sends out Skarmory, so I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Skarmory with Thunder Wave, while avoiding Skarmory's Steel Wing. Mr. Muffintops then launches an Electro Ball, knocking Skarmory down to the ground. With Winona's flying Pokemon down to the ground, I win the battle!

Never has Winona seen someone command Pokemon with more grace than her, as she recognizes my talent and presents me with the gym badge.

*Trevor received the Feather Badge!*

She explains that with the Feather Badge, all Pokemon up to Level 70, even those received through trades, will obey my every command. She also tells me that I will also be able to use the HM move Fly outside of battle. She also gives me TM19 Roost as a gift from her, and she explains what it does. She tells me that I won against her, and knows that I'll keep aiming higher and higher. She says that someday, I may even fly up into the sky... Which is the impression she gets from me. With that said, I take my badge and leave the gym.

Fly up into the sky... I wonder what she means by that? Oh well. Next stop, Lilycove City!

Current Stats:

I finally get Sceptile's Mega Stone, which means it's time to destroy everybody! Some of the team leveled up, but not that much.

Chapter XIV: The Secret Base Guild, And The Theft At Mt. Pyre!

Before leaving to Route 120, I explore Fortree City a little bit. What catches my eye is a flag sign on one of the buildings, so I enter it. Sure enough, I find Aarune again, and he knew that we would meet again. He asks me if I don't know where I am, and he tells me that this is the Secret Base Guild. I never even asked... He tells me that there's no need to be shy, and says that the Secret Base Guild is here to fully support everyone so they can have a Secret Base life full of adventure. He explains that they can give me hints on how to enjoy my base, and items I can't get anywhere else. And, best of all, coming here means that I can always meet him, anytime I want. However, this reminds him that I still haven't made myself a team. Before I can even ask, he explains that a team is made up of the pals that hang out in my base with me. He says I could call them friends, but team sounds cooler. He further explains that when I meet people in other bases, I can ask them to join my team. He says that there's nothing wrong with playing alone, but having some pals around sure can liven things up in my base. He tells me that if I haven't tried it yet, I ought to give it a shot before I write it off. He asks me if I've been collecting flags, and explains that here at the Secret Base Guild, they assign ranks to all the teams based on how many flags they've managed to get. He tells me that the more Secret Bases I find and the more flags I snag, the higher me and my team will end up in the ranking. He says that they do that because it's more fun that way because a bit of rivalry gets everybody fired up. He asks me if it seems full of adventure to be on an endless hunt for more flags, and explains that the higher my rank gets, the richer my base life will become. He tells me to go out there and find those flags, then bring them to show him. He then gives me a gift, as his fellow base fanatic, for coming so far to see him here. He gives me a proclamation for my base, and he explains that it will let me set the battle format that will fly in my own base. He says that there are lots of decorations with special and cool effects like that, and whenever I get a new bit of swag for my digs, I should check it out to see what it does. He tells me to enjoy the base life, and I leave.

I head out for Route 120, and battle the trainers, including trainers who I think I already battled, but I can't be too sure. As I explore, I also train my Pokemon, and find a few items. Eventually, it stops raining, and I battle more trainers. I then come across some ancient ruins, and find some berries. I also battle more trainers, and I head to Route 121. I find more berries, and battle more trainers. However, when I head further in Route 121, I find Team Aqua grunts, planning their next attack! The grunt in the front tells the others that they're moving out to Mt. Pyre, and that they're getting their hands on the orb before Team Magma does. They quickly leave for Mt. Pyre, and so I must follow them. I head to the Safari Zone, and a trainer gives me TM85 Dream Eater! I head to the front desk, and the lady tells me that admittance to the Safari Zone is free! Hold on... Did you say... FREE?! THIS IS THE ONLY GAME THAT DOES THAT!!! She also allows me to catch as many Pokemon as I want, as LONG as I want, too! HOLY SHIT!!! THIS IS SAFARI ZONE HEAVEN!!! However, I am not here for that. I decide to catch a Tentacool, and have him Surf with me all the way to Mt. Pyre. I get on land, and head inside the hugeass mountain.

I head inside Mt. Pyre, and find that the first floor is a graveyard for dead Pokemon. Where the hell do all the dead humans go? One lost his Zigzagoon, while one is selfish enough to try finding rare Pokemon. This is a graveyard for crying out loud! However, one girl looks at me silently, but says I am not the one...

...But is the kid my son?

Billie-Jean-michael-jackson-15415852-321

But seriously, aside from that, I talk to an old man, who says that it's natural for people and Pokemon to be buried in graves once they die. Oh, so there ARE human graves here. However, he heard that's not the usual way in some places of the world. Does that mean there might be other ceremonies for the dead in other regions.... Other regions like Alola? I also get a Cleanse Tag from an old lady, and head upstairs. I battle trainers, including a karate guy who says that until he improves, his teacher, who rests here, will never find true peace...

That depends, is your teacher Kiki?

supa-hot-fire.gif

I battle a little girl, saying that she told everyone that she can talk with Pokemon, but they were concerned for her. BITCH, YOU CRAZY! I also talk to a trainer who tells me this: "Because I loved my Pokémon very much, I spent a lot of money to get a good spot. You know, you can measure the depth of love by the money you spend." Say, he looks a lot like somebody I know, too, but I digress... But THIS boy sounds like he needs to rethink a couple things before I start stealing his money left and right! I then battle a really, really peppy couple, which disgusts me. "He'll try to show me how cool he is by knocking you out!" BITCH, no he won't! I beat their Pokemon and knock the shit out of the boyfriend... Or I would, anyway, but hey, this is a kid's game, riiiiiight?

One even wonders why cemeteries are built.... NO SHIT. Seriously? They are built for the dead, you incompetent ingrate! I beat the rest of the trainers, then I head upstairs, battle more trainers, then head upstairs and find a hall. I talk to the rich boy who tells me that a text inscribed on a tombstone honoring a deceased person or a Pokemon is called an epitaph. He's been wondering what to write in his, and boasts that he has so many great achievements that he's at a complete loss. I talk to the old man, and he claims that this is not a good spot for he and his Pokemon "Meow"'s final resting place. What about your wife? What about your son Eric? I swear, this guy's an idiot. His wife wonders why he's so particular about it, and says that once you die, everything will be gone. Wisest words I've heard all day. I also find TM30 Shadow Ball right in front of them, AND the Medichamite all the way in the corner! With that done, I head downstairs and head outside.

When I head outside, I find myself on Mt. Pyre's Summit! On my way up there, I find TM61 Will-O-Wisp, and many graves. It starts getting foggy, and as soon as I make it to the Peak, I find Archie and Team Aqua! I battle a few grunts, but at the sides, I also find the Banettite! I battle the last grunt before heading to the final set of stairs. However, I'm too late, as Archie has both of the orbs in his possession, but.... He only goes for the Blue Orb. He turns around to see me, and says "yo." Completely uncharacteristic, but okay. He thought that something was a bit noisy, but sees me, the usual scamp. He apologizes, and says that he just doesn't have time to play with me right now. He announces that the Blue Orb that's long been enshrined here at Mt. Pyre belongs to Team Aqua now. He turns over to Matt, and asks him a favor for me and keep me entertained. He tells him that he better use his full strength, too, so I don't get offended. He laughs, and says that with the Blue Orb in his hands, he won't even need the power of the Meteorite to awaken the beast from the deep. Okay, for some reason, I feel like the Meteorite is going to end up being more powerful than both orbs combined. He tells me that all he needs now is a way to get to the place where it sleeps, which he needs the submarine that's being built in Slateport. He happily tells his men to start heading for Slateport City, and they all leave except for Matt. Matt tells me that until the boss makes his getaway, he'll be my opponent.

You wanna fight me? Bring it, Matt.

Matt sends out Sharpedo, while I send out Ruby. All Ruby does is paralyze Sharpedo with Dragon Breath, and after another one, Sharpedo goes down. Beating only one Pokemon, I win the battle!

Even though Matt lost, he still had a fun battle. He knew I'd show him a good time, and looks forward to facing me again someday, leaving and making his getaway. You know, for a bad guy, he sure seems fun to hang around with. The old man is still shocked that the Blue Orb was stolen from their safekeeping, and the woman says that the Blue Orb and Red Orb must never be separated, stating that they belong together. She turns around to me, and says that they will entrust the remaining Red Orb to me. I turn to pick it up, and I feel a strange pulse. They beg me to chase after those thieves and take back the Blue Orb. She tells me that their wretched leader Archie said they were headed for Slateport City next. However, I decide to stay and hear the old man's tale.

"It happened long, long ago... The world was wracked by an unceasing battle between Kyogre, the Pokemon of the sea, and Groudon, the Pokemon of the land... Kyogre raising huge waves and carving out oceans... Groudon raising mountains and creating continents... Their fierce duel raged without end. The world was assaulted by vicious rains and merciless heat in turn. Only one power was great enough to quell this terrible outpouring. That of the Blue Orb and the Red Orb. The light which poured from the Red Orb calmed Kyogre in its fury. The light which swelled from the Blue Orb quieted Groudon in its rage. The two, now docile, dove deep into the sea and disappeared from human eyes..."

With that said, I leave Mt. Pyre, and head for Lilycove City, just so I can pick up Swellington and actually Fly for once... all the way to Slateport City.

You're not getting that submarine, Archie!

Current Stats:

I leveled up the team quite a bit, AND I also caught a new Pokemon! Caught him off-screen (If you can call it that), but meet Solace the Absol! I also caught a Tentacool as my new HM slave... (Trust me, y'all don't want to know what it's nickname is.) But YO! Okay, I KNOW I've been holding off on Alpha Sapphire for so long, but DAAAAAMN I've had a lot on my plate! I've even begun adding more to the plate, too. I've started a little bit on Fallout 4, Dark Souls III, and I've still been playing Skyrim and ESO. PLUS, I JUST ordered my very own copy of Pokemon Emerald, so that's why I'm gonna try finishing this up soon, PLUS for Pokemon Sun and Moon when it comes out in November (Y'all probably know which one I'm gonna get.) I even started playing Pokemon CRYSTAL again after so long of being lazy as hell (Cause I STILL have to beat the Kanto Leaders!) Yup, a lot on my plate. I gotta beat this before SCHOOL starts in a few weeks, holy shit! So yeah, expect more of THIS, before more of Rejuvenation. Because THAT, I can play anytime. THIS, though, I GOTTA beat before the new shit comes out!

Chapter XV: Team Aqua's Stolen Submarine, Their Aquatic Base, And The Beautiful Lilycove City!

As soon as I land in Slateport City, I head over to the Harbor, where I find an audience with the Captain Stern at the door. He announces to Gabby that he intends to move ahead with his expedition, and she thanks him for taking the time from his busy schedule to talk to them. She hopes she can interview him again with news of more discoveries, and she and Ty leave. Then he's surprised that he was filmed for the first time on TV. I follow him, and he recognizes me. He sees that I'm looking well, and reveals that he and his crew made a huge discovery on their latest expedition to the seafloor. He tells me that they found an underwater cavern on Route 128, and they think it may be the den of a super-ancient Pokemon long thought to have been extinct.

However...

After a ringing sound, a mysterious voice speaks over the system, and hopes that Captain Stern is listening. They announce that they, Team Aqua, will now be assuming control of Captain Stern's lovely submarine, and tells Stern that he'll contribute to their great plan of returning everything to the beginning... hoping that he'll appreciate this great honor. They laugh loudly, and the crowd in in confusion. Stern thinks that someone is using a megaphone... Well no shit, Captain Obvious. He wonders where it's coming from, but realizes that it came from the Harbor, just now realizing that they're taking the submarine. He turns to me, and tells me to go inside with him. Dumbass...

I talk to the people, who are in confusion, and I head inside. I find Archie and Shelly in front of the submarine, and Stern sees that they're the same lot who tried to take the Devon Parts at the museum. We confront them, and both Archie and Shelly are surprised to see me, seeing that I actually followed them all the way from Mt. Pyre. BITCH, I FLEW IN LIKE A MOTHERFUCKING BIRD! Your goons ain't SHIT compared to me! Archie laughs and says I got him, and sarcastically bows to my persistence and love of justice. He laughs, and pities the fact that they're well past the time when me and my best efforts could turn the tide. He says that they'll add a few last touches to the submarine, and they'll be all set to bust open the Seafloor Cavern where that great Pokemon is sleeping. He promises that their plans to return everything to the beginning are as good as complete. However, he knows that I gotta do what I gotta do, and says that he's not gonna tell me to quit chasing them. He tells me to follow them all the way to their hideout in Lilycove, if that's what my honor demands. He asks Shelly if she's ready, and she tells the grunts to keep me busy until the submarine takes off. Two grunts show up, and she tells Archie to hop in the submarine. Archie tells me that they'll see me there, and laughs as he and Shelly make their clean getaway. Bitch, you just told me where your hideout is! Thanks for the support, asshole!

I battle the grunts, and whoop their asses. WHO'S POSEIDON NOW, AQUA SCUM?! Whooped BOTH of your asses with Ruby! However, it seems that their mission is still complete, as they managed to keep me busy while Archie and Shelly are now far away with the submarine. The grunt says that he's going to check out the modified submarine in their hideout, and the other grunt is psyched to see all the modding on it. They leave, and Stern is surprised that they're going to mod his submarine. He wonders what they're planning to do with his Submarine Explorer 1, and realizes that they're after the super-ancient Pokemon that slumbers at the bottom of the sea. He apologizes to me, but asks me a favor. He says that his stolen submarine could bring an unimaginable disaster upon the world. He tells me to get to their hideout in Lilycove and stop them because he has no chance alone. He says he can at least get me as far as Lilycove, where their hideout is. He asks me and my Pokemon to put a stop to them and save his sub from being used for evil, and I accept the mission. He says we'll launch at once, and he calls for a ship. He takes me to Lilycove City, and says that Team Aqua must be hiding out somewhere in this city. He begs me to find his sub for him, and says that he'll be heading back to the shipyard in Slateport to start dealing with the aftermath of all this. He sails back to Slateport, while I explore Lilycove City.

While I explore, I actually end up finding May, who asks me if I'm here for shopping too. She shows me that we're right in front of the famous Lilycove Department Store, and says that when she saw me, she figured I'd come here to do some shopping, same as her. Giiiirrrrl, I don't shop. I'm here to save the world, baby! She tells me that she already bought up tons of stuff, like Pokemon Dolls, posters, and more... Girl, what kind of freaky stuff are you into? Like, DAMN, that's a lot of stuff! She realizes she's getting ahead of herself, and says that's not all she's been doing. She tells me that she's caught tons of different Pokemon, and she's been raising them well, too. Really, girl? Reaaallly? Hmmm.... If I had an option to say both, I would, cause I KNOW you're lying. And I got a song for you, girl...

Stop with the lying, girl!

She KNOWS I think she's lying, and she even heard my little hum, too! However, she throws that under the rug by saying that the bigger question here is whether I'm raising MY Pokemon right, not her. She challenges me to a battle, and wants to test her team and see how they stack up against my passion for Pokemon.

Ooooh giiiirl, you already KNOW you're about to get yo ass beat!

May sends out Swellow, while I send out Amelia. Amelia builds up with Calm Mind, while Swellow strikes with Aerial Ace. She then knocks out Swellow with a Draining Kiss. Amelia, I didn't know you were into other women, you naughty thing, you... Just then, May sends out a... HOLY SHIT, A WAILORD?! TOO BAD, WALUIGI TIME!!! Amelia gives Wailord a Draining Kiss or two after another Calm Mind, and May sends out her fully-evolved Blaziken. Too bad Amelia here is gonna kiss all of her Pokemon to death with Draining Kiss. Amelia gives Blaziken a Draining Kiss too, knocking it down. May sends out Breloom as her last Pokemon, which is ANOTHER bad choice against Amelia, as she gives Breloom one, final, Draining Kiss. With all of her Pokemon kissed to death, I win the battle.... OH GOSH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, AMELIA?!

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xy40vt_sexy-naughty-bitchy-me-lyrics_music
So I guess I'm doing themes now for my Pokemon, it seems...

As soon as she loses, she's silent. She is reminded of the battle she had with me back on Route 103, and asks if I was able to become this strong because I battled her back then. She asks what I would think if she said something like that, and just giggles. She tells me that she's actually thinking that it's about time she went back to Littleroot though. She's caught a lot of different Pokemon, and her Pokedex is pretty complete, so she wants to go show it to her dad. Girl, there you go with the LYING again! If your Pokedex was complete, you'd have a full team of SIX! And TWO of them were weak as hell to my Gardevoir! THREE if you count weak-ass Swellow! I CANNOT LET THIS SLIDE!!! She sees that something sparkled in my bag, and asks about it. She sees that it was like the light from that Meteorite, but tells me to forget about it, as she's probably imagining things. She asks me what I'm going to do, and asks if I'm going to collect all the gym badges and take on the Pokemon League. Duhhhh, of course I am. She calls me "Typical Trevor", and says that while I'm collecting my badges, she'll go and complete her Pokedex. THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT. She says that she'll be off, and so she leaves by running off to who knows where. I swear, these girls be crazy...

I explore the rest of Lilycove City, and find Team Aqua grunts everywhere. One even says that if this whole wide world becomes theirs, Team Aqua's, then the 101 Skitty at her parents' house and the Wailmer that live with her should be happier too. Bitch, how the HELL do you have 101 SKITTY?! AND WHY ARE THOSE WAILMER NOT WAILORDS?! WAILORDxSKITTY, ANYONE?! IT WOULD BE MASSIVE!!! I talk to another grunt who tells me NOT to go to the cave in the cove. Bitch. Your own boss INVITED me to come. Why wouldn't I take that opportunity? She says that I don't need a reason why. She tells me that she is an adult, so I just listen to her. BITCH, you don't tell me what to do! I find more Aqua grunts just talking among themselves, and when I head inside a house, I get a Poke Flute... for my base! In addition to that, I also get TM44 Rest from a tired man, AND TM88 Sleep Talk! I head down to the coast, and find a grunt training a few Wailmer, blocking off the exit! I guess the only choice now is to enter Team Aqua's Hideout, which I do so.

When I enter Team Aqua's Hideout, I find that they kept it in its natural cave-like state, but with their own modifications. I move through the hideout, going through warp panels, and battling Aqua grunts. I also happen to find their bedchambers, and one grunt even says that each bed reveals a little something of their character... and reveals a unique odor signature, as well. Creep... However, as I encounter several of them, they're not even doing their job! Lazy bastards... I head into one of the experiment rooms, and find a scientist experimenting on a Meteorite. The scientist reveals that they're conducting experiments to understand how Meteorites, natural energy, and super-ancient Pokemon all relate and hope to create a Blue Orb artificially. However, they haven't had much success, saying that it may be too difficult for humans to solve.

I follow the warp panels, and I end up finding Shelly's room. I look at the picture, and it shows a boy with a shaved head, a girl with black hair, and a Pokemon with three notes attached to its head. "The 7th day of the -th month, -002, With Arc--e and --rachi." It seems like this is Archie, Shelly, and Jirachi! But what are they doing with Jirachi so long ago? I then warp into a different room, and read the files of Project AZOTH...

"The goal of Project AZOTH is to return the world--return everything--to the beginning. In order to further the project, we must proceed with research on Kyogre's Primal Reversion. Primal Reversion is a potential of Pokemon Evolution, a potential different from Mega Evolution. Mega Evolution is made possible by the energy of people and Pokemon. Primal Reversion is made possible by natural energy. In Primal Reversion, Kyogre absorbs natural energy into its body, thereby increasing its power dramatically. Both states significantly enhance Pokemon's power; the difference lies in the source of the required energy."

"We intend to analyze the power of the ultimate weapon used in Kalos 3,000 years ago and work on the development of a drill weapon utilizing the technology. The Seafloor Cavern is sealed by the power of a Legendary Pokemon. The only way to gain access is to break the seal with power that exceeds that of the Pokemon. According to the report from the Petalburg recon team, Devon Corporation holds the secret of the technology of the ultimate weapon. We will dedicate all our resources to obtaining this technology."

Just what are they planning?

I warp into another experiment room, and find a scientist looking at a strange suit. He tells me that the Aqua Suit is the fruit of the collaboration of Devon's and their science and technology. If not for Shelly, who used to work for Devon, the invention would never have materialized. In another warp panel, it leads to the door of an experiment room for testing the durability of the suit. I warp to Matt's room, and find TM97 Dark Pulse. However, after I battle the grunt and warp into another room, I head down to another warp panel, and find myself in a room filled with warp panels. Much like my younger days, I just randomly go into whichever one leads me to Archie's room. Sure enough, I eventually make my way into his room, and find four items. However, two of them are Electrodes! I catch one of them, and kill the other. I then grab a Nugget and... a MASTER BALL!!!

Now hear me out... I know I don't use Master Balls, but there's a reason why I'm so happy for getting one in this particular place. I'll tell y'all another time though.

I go back and battle the grunt, who doesn't remember where she put the Master Ball. Bitch, I already have it. Let your boss chew you out, I don't care. I head into the submarine room, and find that they've made significant improvements to the submarine...

However, by the time I make it, I am stopped by a quintet of female grunts. Oh boy, it looks like Matt and his five out of seventy-two virgins are here... Wait, didn't I battle these bitches before? Oh wait, no I did not. They all charge at me with a horde of Poochyena. I send out Mr. Muffintops, and send a can of whoopass their way. However, as soon as Mr. Muffintops knocks out one of them, they Roar Mr. Muffintops out for my... Tentacool, who actually Surfs on them, knocking them all out. And now Tentacool can have his fun.... I MEAN GIVE BACK THAT SUBMARINE, YOU CRAZY PIRATE BITCHES!!! They even ask if I cheat... Bitch, FUCK cheating! Hax is the way to go! They leave after they taunt me, and I head over to Matt, who is happy to see me. He says that I'm the first punk ever to sneak into this hideout and make it this far, expecting nothing less from a crumb like me. Unfortunately, he has some bad news for me. He reveals that they already finished upgrading the ship, making it resemble a Sharpedo with a powerful drill. He says that as long as they have that thing, they could KO the seal over the Seafloor Cavern with just one punch.

So let me get this straight...

Is Matt's bitchass ONE PUNCH MAN?!?!? I KNOW that this isn't true! Look at One Punch Man's Cailou-Aang, bald-headed ass, and then look at macho-muscled Matt's bitchass! LOOK!!!

He even says that his bro Archie's in the ship, too. He tells me to come at him, and says that if I take him out fast, I might be able to catch up to Archie. However, before I do, though... he says that we need to settle once and for all who's stronger, me and my sorry Pokemon, or him and his not-so-sorry Pokemon. He flexes, heats up, and screams. He tells me to battle it out until we've got nothing left.

Bitch, you'll be sorry with just one Pokemon...

And just like that, Matt sends out his only Pokemon, Sharpedo, while I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Sharpedo with Thunder Wave, then knocks it out with Electro Ball. And just like that, I win the battle!

Matt moans in pain, saying that hurts just about exactly as much as he figured. Bitch, are you seriously complaining about a battle? Get the fuck outta here! Matt then gets extremely exhausted, and says that it's all on Archie now. Just then, the submarine submerges underwater, and makes another getaway. Matt tells me that while we were battling it out, his bro Archie finished getting ready. He then states that he only has one hope... for his bro Archie to finish doing what he set out to do. He even says that his bro Archie is everything to him, and he lives to serve his bro. He turns over to me, and says that I took him out, so he'll give me an idea of what the world will be like if his bro has his way. His bro Archie is headed for the big blue sea that stretches out from Lilycove City, and that deep beneath the surface is the Seafloor Cavern. He says that's where the world his bro hopes to create, where the beginnings of the primordial world will be felt... He states that regular people and Pokemon can't make it there though. He wonders how I can get there, and tells me to look around in towns by the sea and use my own thick head to think about it. With that said, I make my way out of the hideout, and by the time I do, I see that the Wailmer are gone, which means I can explore the seas of Hoenn.

Archie... You're not going to get away with this! Once I get stronger, I WILL hunt you down!

Current Stats:

Only Sebastian, Mr. Muffintops, and Amelia leveled up a bit, but I think the baddest bitch out there in this chapter was definitely Amelia. Drain Kissing ALL of May's team away, it was CRAZY! I have so many Psychic types already, which is why I usually keep her in the PC when I'm using Tentacool to Surf, but DAMN, can she fight!

Chapter XVI: The Seas Of Hoenn, The Spatial Mossdeep City, The Dynamic Duo Tate And Liza, And The End Of The World?!

I set sail from Lilycove City, and head into Route 124. As I surf through the water, I battle the trainers, catch some Pokemon, and find a treasure hunter's house. I then finish up and sail to Mossdeep City.

Once I make it to Mossdeep City, and talk to people. I even make it to one house where I find another fisherman, who gives me a Super Rod, which means I can now catch Wailmer! Instead of surfing on Tentacool now, I can actually surf on Wailmer! However, I actually catch a Sharpedo instead. Surfs faster and all. Ready to take on the gym leaders... yes, I said gym leaders. Because they're twiiiins!!! Anyways, ready to take on the gym leaders, I head inside.

Heading inside, I already know it's going to be a challenge, as it is something I don't believe I've seen before. I talk to the gym guy, who tells me that Tate and Liza are twins that master Psychic types. I then ride the psychic currents, and battle each trainer, and switch the currents. I make sure I battle each trainer so I can train my Pokemon too. Once I activate all the switches, I'm able to battle Tate and Liza. I ride the current to their platform, and they both speak at the same time, asking me if I was surprised that there were two gym leaders. Well considering how I've played the original games multiple times, no, I wasn't surprised at all. They say that they're twins, too. Thank you, Mr. and Ms. Obvious! I have one too! Tate turns away and says that they don't need to talk because... Liza chimes in, and says that they can tell... and Tate finishes with what the other is thinking... but then Liza actually finishes with all in their minds. Seriously... what the fuck. They really went all-out with this "Twin Telepathy" stuff. Hell, people already joke about it with my brother and I. Why isn't that seriously a thing? Oh well, maybe it's better that way. They ask me if I can beat this combination of theirs, and they levitate in the air, doing all sorts of stunts. With that said, the battle begins.

Yo, if MY twin were here playing Omega Ruby at the same time as I'm playing this, you already KNOW you're gonna get your asses kicked! EVEN WITH JUST ME! LET'S GO!

Tate and Liza send out Lunatone and Solrock, while I send out Solace and Megaman, Which I'm unofficially naming my Metang, like how I named Blaziken Ken in Y. Should have named him KFC or FLG... Fingerlickin' Good... Solace wipes out Lunatone with Night Slash, while Solrock shines the place with Sunny Day. Megaman strikes with Iron Head, but Solace finishes it off with another critical hit Night Slash. Defeating their only two Psychic Pokemon, I win the battle! Seriously, JUST TWO POKEMON?! WEEEEEAK!!!

Tate and Liza are shocked that their teamwork failed them, and says that it can't be helped, seeing as I won. They then present me the Mind Badge in recognition.

*Trevor received the Mind Badge!*

Tate tells me that the Mind Badge has the power to make all Pokemon up to level 80 obey me. Liza also tells me that it enables Pokemon to use the HM Dive! Tate also gives me TM04 Calm Mind, and they both explain that it comes from relaxing my mind and concentrating. They also tell me that it heightens my Pokemon's Special Attack and Special Defense, saying that it's the perfect move for Psychic Pokemon. Indeed it is. Tate sees that the bond between me and my Pokemon is far stronger than the bond they share as twins, but I'll go on from here to form even more bonds, saying that's the future he sees for me. Liza foresees a harsh ordeal ahead for me and my Pokemon, but tells me that me and my Pokemon aren't alone, saying we have each other. She also says that's why they want me to face whatever troubles may come my way head-on and full of courage. Yeah, bloods, we're READY to die! I then leave with courage.

As soon as I head outside, a huge earthquake goes off, and a huge beam of light pierces the sky. Covering my ears, I'm wondering what in the hell is going on. However, I see other people surrounding Steven, all in shock. People panic, paranoia, mass hysteria, that kind of thing. One girl even mentions the direction of Route 128, which is a good clue. Everybody's also saying that it's the end of the world. Down in Route 128, two swimmers are at the site, also scared, wondering what the heck happened. Steven then notices me, and says that he heard from little Tate and Liza that I visited their gym. I'm telling you guys, they are indeed motherfucking psychics. Like, unless we heard his cell phone go off and they told him like that, then that's another story. But DAAAAAMN! He says that he was thinking of trying to catch me while I was in the area, but then this happened... He then says lowly that we should talk. He tells me to go to his place, and we head there.

We head inside his house, and he welcomes me into his home, apologizing for the sparse decor. He gets down to business and we take a moment to understand what is happening to our world right now. He tells me that rumbling that shook the earth just now, the eardrum-rapturing explosion we heard, they are proof that a seal, which was long hidden deep undersea, has been undone at last. He further explains that the super-ancient Pokemon that has been sealed deep beneath Route 128 since ancient times has slept until now in the Seafloor Cavern. He also explains that the entrance to that cavern was sealed by the power of a certain Pokemon, all in an effort to keep any human or Pokemon from ever breaching it. However, now it appears that the scheming of Team Aqua has undone the seal. He says that there is no doubt that they intend to revive the super-ancient Pokemon, and once they do so, they hope to make its power their own. He tells me that if Team Aqua obtains the power of the super-ancient Pokemon, it will upset the balance of nature in this world. A crisis unlike any other before will befall every living thing on this planet. He plans to do everything in his power to quell this situation, and that is his duty. However, there is a limit to what he can do with his power alone... And that is why he is asking for my help, saying that he has great faith in my abilities. He asks me to lend him my strength to help put a halt to these teams' mad ambitions. Wait... Did he say, "These teams'?" Is there more than one team plotting for a "Better world"? He says that with he and I and our Pokemon all working together, we will overcome this disastrous turn of events. He doesn't think it is out of the question, as he will entrust me with this: HM07 Dive. He explains that if I use Dive, I will be able to dive to the ocean floor with my Pokemon. He also gives me the Devon Scuba Gear so I can stay with my Pokemon even in the depths of the ocean. He says that if I were to use Dive in the correct stretch of water along Route 128, I should be able to reach the entrance to the Seafloor Cavern. He promises to join me when he finishes his duties, and tells me to do what I can to stop Team Aqua and Team Magma until then. Wait a minute... Wasn't Team Magma helping me before? They must be the other bad guys Steven was talking about! Well I mean, I knew that, but still. He trusts me to do this for him, and I make my way out there.

Team Aqua and Team Magma... I'm coming for you both! You're BOTH going down!

Current Stats:

The team leveled up quite a bit, nothing too much. The main MVPs were Solace, Megaman, and Jaws the Sharpedo.

Chapter XVII: Exploring The Underwater Depths Of Hoenn, Team Aqua's Attack On Seafloor Cavern, And The Beast That Sleeps Within!

After I get HM07 Dive, I decide to dive in all sorts of places. I teach Jaws Dive, and dive in each dive spot. I also battle each trainer as I explore the seas, and find many items and Pokemon. However, as I surf the waves in Route 127, I find the Heracronite! I keep battling more trainers, and head to Route 128, where I find the site of the huge beam of light. I dive below the front of the site, and find that the seal to the Seafloor Cavern has indeed been broken. I enter a huge room, then swim back up to shore.

When I head up to shore, I find the Submarine Explorer 1, which is the submarine Team Aqua stole from the shipyard in Slateport. I enter the cavern, and find Team Aqua grunts, rocks, and boulders everywhere. I teach Strength to Jaws, and Rock Smash to Mr. Muffintops. I battle the grunts, and I also find TM55 Scald while searching through the cave! I push my way through, boulder after boulder, and eventually, I make it to a HUGE hole, with TM26 Earthquake at the side of it! I then make my way down...

I climb my way down the huge stairs, and find both Maxie and Archie nearby the sleeping super-ancient Pokemon! Maxie writhes in defeat while Archie comes out as the victor. He taunts Maxie, and I confront them. Maxie grovels before Archie's feet, and Maxie sees me. Archie sees me as well, and doesn't even find the words to praise me as I deserve. He keeps it simple and says that I've met his expectations. However, he's not just talking about today, but everything I've done until now. He reveals that's why I'll get the honor of meeting his new partner before anyone else living in this world. He reveals that the super-ancient Pokemon is...

kyogre_background_by_cyberoblivion-d6xjp

Kyogre...

He reveals its beautiful form, so long resting at peace within the azure sea. He says that he's been waiting so long for this day to come, and explains that we humans have disregarded Pokemon and nature both in our endless pursuit of our own desires and needs. In the process, we've created this broken and disordered world. However, he announces that this is the day when he finally obtains the power to return everything to how it once was--to return to our beginnings. He can now release the ancient power... The ancient power of Primal Kyogre! He turns to me, and says that I'm the last token resistance that's trying to ruin his day, vowing that he'll use everything his team and he has to crush me once and for all. He remembers Mega Evolution, and asks if I thought that I and my Pokemon were the only ones to use it. He reveals that what he didn't get the chance to use at Mt. Chimney is indeed Mega Evolution, and the true power of his team. He roars a mighty roar, and the battle begins.

Archie... Do you think you will win this fight? I will do everything in my power to stop you once and for all!

In a swirling vortex of water, Archie sends out Mightyena, while I send out Amelia, who knocks Mightyena off its feet with a Draining Kiss. Archie sends out Muk, while I send out Megaman. Archie decides to switch out Muk... with Crobat, who takes the Zen Headbutt, getting damaged severely. Archie... Why the hell did you make that dumb play? Are you TRYING to save Sharpedo for last, bruh? I CANNOT LET THIS SLIDE!!! Crobat gives Megaman a Mean Look, while Megaman knocks it out with Zen Headbutt. Okay, SERIOUSLY?! ARCHIE... YO ASS IS GONNA GET FRIED!!! Archie sends out Muk again, while I send out Solace, who Psycho Cuts Muk down in two hits. Archie sends out Sharpedo, and I send out Sebastian while he Mega Evolves Sharpedo with his Mega Anchor. Sebastian is lucky enough to avoid Sharpedo's Slash, and I Mega Evolve Sebastian while he Detects Sharpedo's Scary Face. Sebastian strikes with Mega Drain and barely survives from Sharpedo's Crunch, and finishes Sharpedo off with another one. With all four of Archie's strong Pokemon defeated, I win the battle!

Instead of crying like a bitch that he lost, Archie actually takes it like a man. However, Megaman evolves into... Metagross! Archie quietly laughs, but the laughs get louder, and louder, until he laughs maniacally. He says that I'm just perfect, just as great as any little hero trying to save the world ought to be. However, he reveals that it changes nothing, as he can't give up now. He declares that he WILL use the power of the Blue Orb to awaken Kyogre at last, and then he'll return everything in this world to its original, pure state. He calls forth Kyogre to awaken, and to return everything to the way it was, but Archie is stopped by Shelly, who tells him that's enough. She tells him to realize that the world he dreams of and the world Kyogre will create are two completely different places, and Archie is disappointed in her. He says that he always believed that she at least would understand his dreams... However, he turns to Kyogre, and says that in the end, the only one he can depend on is it. He commands it to absorb all the power resting in the Blue Orb, and to reclaim itself, reverting to its primal form. He declares that this is the time to take back the great Evolution he lost in the ancient past, and the cavern shakes. Maxie is horrified, and he and Shelly step back. I step forward, and Archie uses the Blue Orb. Kyogre awakens, and its color returns as the cave shakes. Kyogre is now alive and breathing!

Kyogre then leaves the cavern in a blue orb, and creates a huge storm outside! Archie laughs, and says that he's finally done it. He says that it hasn't even finished reversion, and it still has this much power. He says that with this, he can return everything to its natural beginning, and claims that it's time at last. Shelly asks him what he has done, and Archie gets a call from the crew outside. He is reported that the great deluge has begun, and he is proud. However, his victory is cut short when he is told that it is far more than they thought. He realizes that if it completes its Primal Reversion, all hope is lost. He tells them to keep an eye on it, and Shelly asks Archie what's going on outside. Archie says that all that matters is that he has used the Blue Orb to awaken Kyogre, and now he will return this world to its natural state... the state that is best for Pokemon. Maxie scolds Archie, and says that he has made a grave error regarding Kyogre's powers. Archie gets mad for a second, but Maxie continues. He explains that the "beginning" that Primal Kyogre brings about... The way that it resets the world... It starts by driving every living thing on this planet to death first! He reveals that this path leads only to an inescapable despair that cannot be withstood, and that is all Archie has brought us. This is what comes of the madness of thinking that Archie could ever control the super-ancient Pokemon's power! Shelly realizes it, and says that we need to get out of here. She says that standing around complaining isn't going to solve anything, and she tells me to hurry up too. We then leave...

We head outside where it's storming into the night sky, and Archie is horrified. Shelly says that it's awful, and Archie only wanted to make a world where Pokemon could live on in peace, where that Pokemon... Shelly comforts Archie, and Maxie wonders if this is the power of the super-ancient Pokemon. He wonders if this is what Kyogre's power truly is, and if this is how Archie would return everything to its beginning. He says that the balance in this world is faltering, and at this rate, it may be lost forever. However, he turns to me, and says that we will make our way to Sootopolis, where it is most likely the case that Kyogre is also making its way to that city. He reveals that in the deepest reaches of the Cave of Origin, which lies in the heart of Sootopolis City, Kyogre will find the energy it needs to reclaim its primal form. He expects Kyogre will go to that place in search of even greater power, and we must follow it to the Cave of Origin and do whatever it takes! He says that there's nothing else we can do, and he tells Archie that he and his team of fools will accompany them. He says that they have brought this calamity upon themselves, and it is only right that they take responsibility and clean up after their mistakes. Archie is still in shock, and Shelly tells him that they need to go. They leave, and Maxie formally expresses that as an adult, he first feels he must apologize for the way things have turned out. He apologizes, but also asks for my assistance, asking me to help them avert this crisis. He believes that if we work together, we'll be able to overcome this ultimate threat. He expects my arrival in Sootopolis, as he makes his way there himself.

However, just as I'm about to head there, Steven flies in on a Pokemon. He apologizes for not being here sooner, and says that this is terrible. He sees that this is what was being depicted in that painting in Granite Cave, and that if this doesn't stop, all Hoenn--the entire world--will drown. He says that nothing could live in such a world--neither humans nor Pokemon, and wonders if this huge rain cloud is spreading out from Sootopolis. He wonders what he's going to do, and says that there's no point in agonizing over the situation from here. He says that he has to go to Sootopolis because there must be answers there. He turns over to me, and says that he will count on me to help with this crisis. He also begs me to promise I won't do anything reckless. He wishes me good luck, and flies on his Pokemon which I would think would be Skarmory.

On my way to Sootopolis City, I battle a few more trainers. Little bitches... Do you really think now is the time to FIGHT?! HELL NO!! Then aain, I didn't battle them yet, so oh well. I dive underwater with Jaws, and head below into Sootopolis City, then rise to the surface to see what has happened...

It's time to save the world! Kyogre... You must be stopped!

Current Stats:

The team leveled up nice and evenly, with Ruby still to train, but oh well. She'll still be there for the mighty battle. Most of them learned new moves, too.

Chapter XVIII: The End Of The World, And The True, Majestic Power Of Primal Kyogre!

I make it to the surface, and I head to the Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon and pick up Ruby. I head out, and see that every door is locked. THEY AIN'T FUCKING WITH THE RAIN TONIGHT! I head over to the Pokemart and buy as MANY Pokeballs as I can, same with Revives and Max Repels. I then head over to the path to the Cave of Origin, and find Steven and another fellow. Steven says he's been waiting for me, and sees the terrible rain, feeling that it's as though the entire world will be washed away. He tells me that I need to hear what his friend has to say. His friend introduces himself as Wallace, the gym leader of Sootopolis City. However, he's also been entrusted with the protection of the Cave of Origin. He explains that this downpour is being caused by a power emanating from the Cave of Origin. He sees that I have the Red Orb, and tells me to follow him. I follow him, but Steven stops to think. He says that people and Pokemon need water to live, and wonders why this rain fills us with so much dread. He says that the rain clouds massing over Sootopolis keep building, and soon they will extend over all of Hoenn. If that were to happen...

We keep going, and we meet up with Archie, Maxie, and Shelly at the entrance. Steven confronts both leaders, and Maxie says that they have been expecting me. Shelly tells Archie that she's going to hand over that thing they developed to me. Archie agrees, and tells me to take the Aqua Suit. Shelly gives it to me, and explains that this super high-performance protective suit was made with the combined technology of the Devon Corporation and Team Aqua. She reveals that they actually prepared it in anticipation of coming into contact with Kyogre, but says that they'll just leave it with me. Archie questions that even if I put it on, he wonders if I really think I'll be able to make it all the way down to where Kyogre waits. Shelly turns to the shrine and explains that the energy overflowing from this shrine is certainly much more powerful than they had anticipated, and its influence is making the current grow stronger. Wallace steps forward, and says that there is nothing to fear. He reveals that the Red Orb I bear's ancient powers will protect both me and my Pokemon. Maxie steps forward and remembers the elderly couple at Mt. Pyre saying such. He reveals that the Blue Orb is capable of releasing Kyogre's full power, of reverting it to its primal form, while the Red Orb has the power to quell that flood of power. Wallace says that the energy overflowing from the Cave of Origin just now is the very energy that gives Kyogre its power. With the Red Orb, which contains the power to suppress that, it should be possible to calm the force of this great flood. However, the Red Orb's power alone will not lead me to where Kyogre waits, as I will not reach Hoenn's Core that way. He tells me to use the suit that I was just given, and with that, it will finally become possible to stand up against the forces of nature. Steven is still shocked I had the Red Orb the entire time, but says I'll be okay, believing that my Pokemon and I can handle it, whatever happens. Wallace says that no man or woman from Sootopolis is permitted to enter the Cave of Origin, but I must go, together with my Red Orb. He tells me that I must go regardless of what awaits me inside that cave, while Maxie promises that they will also work to mobilize their team members and offer help to the people and Pokemon who are suffering most due to this disaster. He explains that now is the time when we all must simply do the best that we can within our own chosen roles, and me, a mere child.... He then scratches that part out, because I am not a mere child today. He calls me a trainer, and apologizes that they have put the greatest burden on my shoulders alone, but he trusts me to take care of this. Archie apologizes, and begs me to save them, the world, and Kyogre.

However, just as I'm about to go in the Cave of Origin, May shows up, and tells me that she heard on the news that things were going haywire around Sootopolis, and she also saw me on BuzzNav. She tells me she couldn't just sit there and do nothing when she knew I was here in the thick of it, so she came flying. Girl, hold up. You came here in the middle of a FUCKING STORM?! Giirrl, now that's just stupid, but FILLED WITH DETERMINATION! May looks behind me, and is shocked to see both Team Aqua and Team Magma here. She asks me if she can just say that she is shocked and confused on so many levels. Honestly, I would be too if I was in your shoes. She realizes that it's something bigger than she can even imagine, so she's not even going to ask right now. She promises that she's going to try to find what she can do to help, and then she's going to do her best with that. She also says that she's going to keep on hoping and believing that I'll be okay out there, because... Oh daaaaamn.... Are you confessing your feelings, girl? Cause if so.... DAAAAAAAAAMN!!! Because I'm the best friend she has. HOLD UP, WHAT?! Way to cockblock my sorry ass... Nintendo is on different LEVELS with this friend-zoning and shit! WHY YOU NO LOVE ME, MAY?! WHY DO YOU NOT LOVE ME?! Anyways, that aside, I talk to everyone one more time before heading inside. Shelly says that if she had an Aqua Suit, she could follow Kyogre all the way to the bottom of the sea. Damn, bitch is not giving a fuck about air! FUCK air, it's all about that H2O! After speaking with everyone one last time, I head inside the mysterious Cave of Origin...

I follow the path, spraying Max Repels everywhere, as I make my way down the cave. As I move down, the cave quakes, and it gets stronger each time, with Kyogre's cries getting louder as well. Once I get down to the third floor below, it gets foggy, and Kyogre's cries pierce my eardrums. The screams get louder on the next floor, and I eventually make it into a room filled with azure blue water. I make it to the center, and the room quakes louder. I put on the Aqua Suit, and equip it with the Red Orb, shielding me from Kyogre's power. In a blinding flash, Kyogre appears, and Archie contacts me. He tells me that there's a device built into the suit that lets him talk to me. He informs that they're getting readings up hear as though Kyogre's appeared. He assumes that I'm staring right at it, and Kyogre roars. He tell me not to be afraid, and just leap onto that beastie's back. He tries to tell me to let it take me to the deepest part of the cave, but the sound cut out. I then leap onto Kyogre's back, as it takes me to the deepest part of the Cave of Origin.

As soon as it takes me to deepest room, my PokeNav goes haywire, and I take off the suit, surprised I'm able to breathe in here. I step forward, and confront Kyogre, who roars and calls forth the energy it needs to revert into its Primal Form. It calls upon he Alpha symbol, and unleashes in its true form: Primal Kyogre! Kyogre roars a fearsome roar, as I send out Mr. Muffintops first, to paralyze Kyogre with Thunder Wave. However, Mr. Muffintops actually survives Kyogre's Body Slam, and knocks it down to half of its health with Electro Ball before fainting from another Body Slam. I send out Sebastian, who I Mega Evolve and have use Mega Drain. Kyogre is paralyzed, and and just when I think I have it down to its last... Kyogre faints from the Mega Drain... Without saving....

aid1168554-728px-Catch-Kyogre-in-Pokemon

WHAT THE FUCK?!? NOT AGAIN!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

...PSYCHE!!! Did you all REALLY expect I would let this happen AGAIN?! Alright, hold up. Let me tell y'all about what happened in my ORIGINAL Sapphire game. See, my Pokemon adventure started when I was nine years old. Maybe eight. And Pokemon Sapphire was my very first game. When I was in Team Aqua's Hideout, I did not know there was a Masterball, OR any of that. Most likely because I did not make it into Archie's room! What's even MORE stupid of my nine-year-old self, is that I COMPLETELY forgot to save before I battled Kyogre, and when I battled it with Blaziken, I accidentally KILLED Kyogre, forgetting that it was a legendary, AND unaware that I was never going to be able to catch it again. Sucks, doesn't it? Well I actually managed to use a Gameshark to catch one later on, but it wasn't the same. It was never the same. Especially when my brother ended up losing the Gameshark eventually, so now I'm unable to go to Navel Rock and all those places when I play Emerald (Which I just got a few days ago). Anybody know where I can find a good Gameboy Advance Gameshark for a good price? No? Anyways, y'all can pretty much imagine my happiness when I FINALLY got the Master Ball in Archie's room. Part 1 of my childhood restored. But now... Standing before me... is the almighty Leviathan... Kyogre itself! Let's take another shot, shall we?

Taking another shot, I repeat what I did with Mr. Muffintops, but don't use Sebastian's Mega Drain twice on Kyogre. However, I spam Pokeballs at it, and when Sebastian gets knocked out, I switch into Amelia, who weakens it. Then I send out Ruby after Amelia faints, and she spams Dragon Breath until it's at its last health. Spamming Pokeballs, I keep throwing them until I eventually catch it right at its last health. With Kyogre finally caught, I name it Alpha, and it goes to the PC. WHO'S THE KING OF THE SEA NOW, KYOGRE BITCH?!

After that, the whole cave collapses, and I run out ofthere. A green beam of light shoots up at the sky, destroying the storm. Everyone, including my mother and Professor Birch, step out of their houses, and even little Wally checks to see what's going on. Everyone gathers around all over the world to celebrate the beautiful green glitter, and even Matt and the mysterious Aqua grunt celebrate. I make my way out, and May and Steven are happy to see me alive. May is surprised to see it really over, and Steven says that they owe me great thanks. He tells me to look above, as the sky over Sootopolis has returned to normal. Maxie states that the power, which had been pooling within the Cave of Origin, is now flowing back out into the world. Archie says that it's so warm, and just now his heart felt like it was about to be crushed by uncertainty and terror, but now it feels like it's been softly set at ease. Maxie realizes that the land or sea, humans or Pokemon, that when they sought to bring happiness to only one, they nearly destroyed both. And now the world's balance is restored to its natural state. He realizes that this is the time they must reconsider their ideals, and he asks Archie if he agrees. Archie says that he's right, and says that what Maxie is saying is only natural, and even he knows that. But he still can't just change, as the world he believed to be ideal the kind of world that he dreamed of making, where he could live alongside his beloved Pokemon, that hasn't changed. Archie knows he's got nothing to stand on, after causing this much hurt, but... Shelly chimes in, and says that Maxie is right, saying that Archie caused a big fuss there when he almost brought the downfall of the world. She says that no matter how much he begs, no one can forgive that. She asks him if he really needs their forgiveness, though because even if he is a big dolt who no one in the world will ever forgive, she'll stay with him, vowing to stay with him forever. Oh, so you confess YOUR love for HIM, but MAY won't confess hers for me? Looks like I gotta grow some balls, don't I? She begs him to stop going out on his own and acting crazy, because he's their--Team Aqua's leader. And they're his friends, after all. Archie apologizes to her, and thanks her, and Maxie walks up to me and says that they adults have a duty to pass this world along to the next generation. A world worth passing along. He wonders what is it we truly need to do to create such a world, take each other's hand in friendship or fight for the right of supremacy. He realizes that it's time they consider this again with their team members and break down the wall between them. Archie walks over to me and says that I managed to use the Red Orb, and gives me the Blue Orb to try on for size. He says that if I give it to Kyogre, I should be able to control its Primal Reversion. They both bid farewell, and leave.

Steven thinks to himself, saying that Team Magma and Team Aqua are made up of people with completely opposing ideals and goals, but perhaps even they can learn to meet halfway, one small concession at a time. He knows it's too much to expect that everything will change at once, but he hopes this crisis might at least help them take that first vital step forward. He also imagines that many changes are happening now all across Hoenn, and hopes I will be able to travel this world and see its richness with my own eyes--and revel in its newness in my own heart. He's not just saying this to me, but to May as well, who is beside me. He then says that I may first wish to challenge this city's Pokemon gym for the present, saying there, I'll find the very same Wallace who helped us so much waiting for me. He warns me that Wallace is strong, but the way I am now, I should be capable of battling him on an equal footing. He says that when I travel the world, I should try to use a flute. He says that this flute is one of his favorite items. He then gives me the Eon Flute, which he explains that it is proof of the bond between me and my Latias, and no matter how far I may be from it, if I play that flute, Latias will surely fly straight to me. He also explains that it can take to the sky, soaring above the land with me astride its back, just like when we first encountered Latios and Latias at Southern Island. He says that people, Pokemon, and nature itself... are what our survival in this world depend on. It depends on all of us living together in harmony, which is something he's just begun to understand. Steven wonders how the world will continue to change from this point on, and it fills him with an inexplicable excitement. He says that as me and my Pokemon live and grow in this changed world, he wonders what effect it will have on me. He wonders what I will think about, and what ideals I will believe in. He says that if we do get the chance to meet again, he hopes I will be able to show him and his team the answers I've found. Until then, he bids me farewell.

May is glad that it's just the two of us again, and she thanks me for everything I've done for the region. She thought we were supposed to have set out from Littleroot together, but it seems like I just keep getting further and further ahead of her. She even started to feel like I'd gone somewhere that she can't even reach. She says that it's pretty lonely, but changes her tune. She asks me what I would think if she really said something like that. Bitch, you crazy! She says that I did something really amazing today, so I should try to take it easy for a while. She says goodbye, and leaves like all the rest of them as I watch the night sky...

I decide to explore the city a little bit, and I find the Sablenite! I also receive TM31 Brick Break in one of the houses! I then heal my Pokemon, and head into the gym...

One more gym, and I'm heading off into the Pokemon League!

Chapter XIX: Mega Stone Hunting, The Dazzling Water Dancer Wallace, And The Paths That I Choose... My Destiny!

After finally catching Kyogre since years of failing to do so, I decide to do something different before battling Wallace, and that is hunting Mega Stones! Solace and Amelia are still in need of Mega Stones, so I decide to go find them. I fly on Ruby with the Eon Flute, and I head to the Safari Zone first to find the Absolite in the northwest corner, NOT the northeast corner. I then fly to Verdanturf Town, and head to Wanda's house to visit. She says that it feels like it's been ages since they saw me last, and says that I had wonderful timing, as she was thinking that she wanted to give me something. She gives me the Gardevoirite as proper thanks for when I helped smash those rocks in the tunnel. She asks me if I remember how light came falling out of the sky a while ago, and she says that she found this in the yard that day. So you mean to tell me that Mega Stones were falling out of the sky? Unbelievable, but hey, this is Pokemon after all. However, she actually found two, but gave the other one to Wally. She says that it's a pretty stone, and she's sure my Pokemon would be delighted if I let one of them hold it. I know who I'm giving this to... I give Solace and Amelia their respective stones, and Amelia teleports me back to Sootopolis City. With my team set with Mega Stones, and with Alpha with me, I am ready to fight Wallace.

I head inside the gym, and talk to gym guy who tells me that Wallace is a master of Water-types. He tells me that the icy floor is going to be a challenge, but gives me the hint of walking on each tile once. I walk over the first and second tiers of tiles, and fall down on the third one, just to battle the trainers. I then battle the last two trainers on the final tier, and I realize that all of these trainers are just Wallace's fangirls. I carefully plan out my strategy after a few more falls, and eventually, I make it over to Wallace's platform, where he formally introduces himself as the gym leader of Sootopolis City. He notices that there's something different about me, a difference in my demeanor. He senses that in me, and says that what happened inside the Cave of Origin, and what I did there, our upcoming battle will make that all clear. He then tells me to show him the power I wield with my Pokemon, and in turn, he shall present me with a performance of illusions in water by him and his Pokemon. He tells me this as he is posing, and then the battle begins.

You wanna dance, Wallace? Let's dance, boi!

Wallace sends out Luvdisc, while I send out Solace, who gets Attracted to Luvdisc! However, he breaks free, and knocks Luvdisc out with Night Slash. Wallace then calls for the big guns and sends out Milotic right away, while I send out MY big guns and send out Alpha, who Primal Reverts into its true form. Alpha Body Slams Milotic, and paralyzes it. After resisting Alpha's Ice Beam, Milotic Recovers, healing itself. Alpha then calls for the big guns, and strikes Milotic with Origin Pulse, which gives significant damage. And after missing an Origin Pulse, Milotic gets paralyzed, but is knocked out after the next one hits it. Wallace sends out Whiscash, while I send out Sebastian, who Mega Evolves and knocks out Whiscash with Mega Drain. Wallace sends out Sealeo, and I send out Megaman, who strikes with Meteor Mash, and gets an Encore from Sealeo. Wallace finally uses a Hyper Potion, but Megaman strikes again, and this time gets a boost, knocking out Sealeo with another Meteor Mash. Wallace sends out Seaking as his last Pokemon, but it is too late. Seaking survives Megaman's Meteor Mash and heals itself with Aqua Ring, but Megaman's Encore ends, and Megaman knocks out Seaking with a Zen Headbutt. With all of Wallace's majestic Water Pokemon defeated, I win the battle! At least HE put up more of a fight than the twins!

Wallace applauds, realizes now my authenticity and magnificence as a Pokemon trainer, and finds much joy in having met me and my Pokemon. He says that I have proven myself worthy of the Rain Badge, and bestows it to me, telling me to accept it.

*Trevor received the Rain Badge!*

He tells me that having that badge assures me full obedience of all my Pokemon to every command I make. He also gives me something to never forget the battle we shared, as he poses, giving me HM05 Waterfall instead of a TM (Which he would normally give me TM03 Water Pulse in Sapphire). He tells me that HM he gave me contains Waterfall, which allows me to smash into an opponent with the force required to climb a waterfall itself. He tells me it is a mighty move, but it also has a certain elegance and can sometimes cause opponents to flinch. He says that with the power of the Rain Badge, I will become able to use Waterfall to scale walls of cascading water. He then says that many paths are open to me now, and one path will take me to the Pokemon League, the goal that all trainers in Hoenn aspire to reach after obtaining all eight gym badges. He tells me that if that is the path I chose, then I must find my way to the island said to be the most remote in Hoenn: Ever Grande. He also says that if it is a different path I seek, and I would rather pursue Pokemon and a completed Pokedex, he tells me that the rumors that reach him on the wind whisper that Professor Birch in Littleroot has created a more powerful Pokedex. He tells me to visit him, obtain this new technology, and he has little doubt I will encounter more diverse Pokemon than ever before. He also hopes that a bright future waits for me, whatever path it is I choose.

Honestly, I want to take BOTH paths, but I'll only get the upgraded Pokedex first... The rest of that path can wait!

I fly on Ruby to Littleroot Town first, and get an Amulet Coin from my mother, who sees that I beat my dad in a battle. I also visit Professor Birch, who welcomes me back, and says that I must be tired after all my recent exploits. He tells me that May has been keeping him updated about all of my grand adventures around Hoenn, and after hearing all that I've been up to, there is something he'd definitely like to share with me. He says that the fact of the matter is that after I resolved that kerfuffle with the super-ancient Pokemon, a number of Pokemon never before recorded in the Hoenn region began to appear all over! He reveals that those Pokemon are precisely the subject of his many long years of research, and they are Pokemon which are thought to have resided in Hoenn thousands of years ago! He announces that we'll finally be able to meet Pokemon never before seen, the very Pokemon he's pursued all these years! He's so excited, he feels like he's about to burst. Depends on what kind of burst you mean, if you mean you're about to burst your fat weight, or if you're about to bust a nut, pop a cherry, etc... Either way, I want no part of it, thank you! He was so excited, he went right ahead and upgraded the Pokedex to be ready for ALL of them. He upgrades my Pokedex while I'm here, and gives me the National Pokedex, which I'll now find on my Pokedex's menu! He says that it is being suggested that Hoenn is now more hospitable to Pokemon after that incident in Sootopolis. However, that does not necessarily mean the environment has become any more hospitable to humanity. He says that people, Pokemon, and nature, and the balance between these three great ecosystems has shifted greatly, and anticipates for me to start exploring this new world. He says that exploration may help us learn how best to coexist with Pokemon from this time forward, and hopes I will find my own answers to this great question, as I continue my journey with my Pokedex.

I fly to Route 128, and battle the trainers I forgot to battle as I surf my way to Ever Grande City on Alpha. I make it, but I see other people failing to use Waterfall. Time to show these losers how it's done! I teach Alpha Waterfall, as it rides on the gigantic waterfall to Ever Grande City. I then heal my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center, and enter the cave into Victory Road...

Pokemon League, here I come!

Chapter XX: The Majestic Victory Road, And Wally's Metamorphosis!

After I enter Victory Road, I notice that it is a lot different than I remember... Maybe because of the fact that it's not just a random, boring cave anymore, but it has TREES and all in it, like Unova and Kalos' Pokemon Leagues! I Surf into the cave with Jaws, because I refuse to teach Kyogre Strength, and have him push a boulder into a hole. I start battling the trainers... and they have Pokemon that are not native to Hoenn. SO WAIT A MINUTE! You mean to tell me, that these random-ass trainers, were just sitting in this cave the entire time, with all of these "never before seen" Pokemon, AND NOBODY KNEW ABOUT IT?! The fuck is that?!

I then climb down a ladder, and find myself in a dark room. I teach Amelia Flash, which it then uses to light up the room. Super effective... if I do say so myself. If I were a Pokemon, I'd faint. I push more boulders and battle more trainers until I climb up another ladder, and battle more trainers. I then make my way down one ladder and get an item, but go back up for the other ladder as I battle a duo who nearly beats me. However, I persevere, go out the cave, and get TM29 Psychic! I go back inside, surf to the other side, and battle more trainers. I also push more boulders to pick up TM35 Flamethrower, and continue onward. However, I also find another trainer, who actually says that he trained together with his whole family, every one of them, vowing that he won't lose to anyone. Is this... Is that the Winstrate Family's SON?! IS THAT YOOOOOU?! I battle him, and sure enough, his name is Vito.

Now this is a battle worth mentioning! Let's go!

He sends out Electrode, while I send out Mr. Muffintop, who I switch with Megaman. After a while of hitting Electrode with Meteor Mash, Electrode finally decides to kill itself with Explosion. Vito sends out Darmanitan, who gets knocked out by Megaman's boosted Zen Headbutt. Vito sends out Swalot, who also goes down to Megaman's Zen Headbutt. Note, that Megaman was fast due to it using Agility against Electrode. With the last Winstrate defeated, I win the battle!

Vito is shocked I beat his whole family, and is shocked. He says that he was better than everyone in his family, and he's never lost before. He's lost his confidence, and says that he'll maybe go home. Serves you right, Weenie. I then find more water and surf to the cave to get outside, but it's a dead end! I head back inside and battle more trainers. I head up the ladder, follow the path, and beat the last pair of trainers before I head upstairs back out into the beautiful part of the cave. I follow the path, but head up the waterfall, and find TM81 X-Scissor. I then head back down and continue onward, until I head into the deepest part of Victory Road.

I find myself surrounded in a field full of flowers, with one lone trainer in the middle: Wally. He's surprised to see me, and bets that I'm just as surprised to see him in a place like this. He thanks me for keeping my end of the promise that we made back then, and it was really all thanks to me that he could make it this far. He reveals that it was only because he lost to me back then that he could become even stronger, and he's sure that me and my Pokemon must have had to overcome a lot, too to make it all the way here. Sadly, bruh, I do not have Alpha with me, otherwise I would LOVE to show you my whale. He says that everyone's grown so much, and now we'll finally get to see just what we all can do. He says that standing here facing me again gives him chills... but he won't give up. He promises that he won't lose anymore, and his Pokemon have given him the courage and strength to fight, and he has to win for their sake. He tells me to get ready, here he comes. With that said, the battle begins.

Well OKAY THEN! What died and made YOU Mr. Badass all of a sudden? Bi-Polar much, bruh? If it's a battle you want, it's a fight you'll get! And no, I'm not going to go easy on you at all, so get ready, Mr. Carrot-top! HAVE AT YOU!

Wally sends out Altaria, while I send out Mr. Muffintops.... IN THIS BLISTERING SUN!! WHERE THE HELL IS THAT GROUDON COMING FROM?! Mr. Muffintops paralyzes Altaria, and then Altaria keeps getting paralyzed. After a few Electro Balls, Altaria goes down. Wally sends out Roselia, while I send out Solace, who knocks it out with a Psycho Cut. Wally sends out Delcatty, while I keep Solace out, and even when he's attracted to Delcatty's Cute Charm, he still knocks it out with two Night Slashes. Wally sends out Magneton, so I send out Megaman, who almost wipes out Magneton, had it not had Sturdy. After a Zen Headbutt, it goes down, and Wally sends out Gallade, which he Mega Evolves....

Okay... I CANNOT LET THIS SLIDE!!! Look at the trainers of Victory Road. You see them with Pokemon that aren't part of the Hoenn dex, right? Rhyperior, Darmanitan, etc. Right? Then LOOK at Wally's Gallade-bitchass. THEN LOOK AT THE REST OF HIS TEAM! He has a Roselia, NOT a Roserade, and he has a Magneton, NOT a Magnezone! If Wally really were to go through a drastic change, he'd have a full team by now, fully evolved! ROSELIA AND KIRLIA EVEN EVOLVE WITH THE SAME STONE, FOR FUCKS SAKE!!! HE COULD HAVE USED TWO DAWN STONES, AND WE'D BE OKAY WITH THAT! I don't know how Magneton would evolve in Hoenn, but after battling Kyogre, I WOULD SEE THAT HAPPENING! But no, you see him with a weak-ass Roselia, a weak-ass Magneton, but a Mega GALLADE?! I get they wanted to add a new Mega for him, but at LEAST evolve the rest of your Pokemon, you weak-ass bitch! The fuck outta here, you ghost-pale carrot-top-looking ass!

Anyways, as he sends out Gallade and Mega Evolves it with his Mega Pendant, I send out Amelia and Mega Evolve her, and the battle heats up, as it did back then... Amelia knocks half of its health with Draining Kiss, while all Gallade does is Psycho Cut. Wrong move, bitch! You should know to use Poison Jab or Shadow Sneak or SOMETHING to knock out Amelia! Amelia finishes Gallade's win streak by giving it another Draining Kiss, knocking it out. Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves the baddest bitch in all of Pokemon, other than Eris the Meowstic. With that said after beating Wally once again, I win the battle!

Wally goes silent, and admits defeat, but rages for a second. He then smiles, and thanks me for not holding back when I battled against them, for not holding back when I beat them, and thanks Gallade and everyone in his team. Told you I wouldn't, bitch. Your team just sucks, that's all. He feels like he's taken another step forward, thanks to everyone. He also gives me a Dawn Stone to keep, and hopes it will always remind me of my battle with him, his Gallade, and his team. He says that if I have a male Kirlia as one of my partners, he hopes that I might use the Dawn Stone on it for him. He says that he couldn't beat me this time, but he'll stay here and continue training. He tells me to look out one day, and swears he'll catch up to me one day. And when he does, he and I will battle again, saying that's a promise he intends to live up to. With that said, I make my way out of the cave, and into the Pokemon League...

I promise... that I'll kick your ass again when the time comes. But when it comes, be ready next time! Now it's time to see what I'm truly made of!

Current Stats:

The team has leveled up a little bit, and with the Absolite and Gardevoirite (Also in the last chapter too), the team is complete! Maybe for the post-story, I might have a few different members, but who knows? As the story is coming to a close, I will be putting up a poll soon, once I'm done with the Pokemon League.

Chapter XXI: The Grand Showdown, The Pokemon League!

After defeating Wally, and a mass training of my Pokemon, I head outside and follow the path, making my way through a long field of flowers on the sides, as I head inside a large, Chinese-looking building. However, I also find the Mewtwonite Y on the side of it! I enter the Pokemon League building, and heal my Pokemon. I then buy a lot of Full Restores and Max Revives, take Alpha out of the PC, and talk to the trainers guarding the fancy door. One of them tells me that only trainers who have collected all eight gym badges may go beyond this point, and they evaluate me. They then move aside, and tell me to believe in myself and my Pokemon, and go forth.

I head inside the doors, and they close behind me as I find myself in a dark, windy hallway with leaves floating in the breeze. I walk towards the building, and sand fills the floor. The room lights up, and the doors open. I head inside, and see a man who looks like a punk, sitting on a black chair. He stands up, and welcomes me, introducing himself as Sidney of the Elite Four. He likes the look I'm giving him, and guesses I'll give him a good match. He's pleased, and goes straight to business, wanting the kind of battle that can happen only here in the Pokemon League.

You ready, Alpha-Punk-looking Sidney? Let's rock out the show.

Alpha Punk Sidney (Yes, I'm calling him that. I mean, LOOK! Does he NOT resemble those punks from X and Y?) sends out Mightyena while I send out Solace. Solace strikes with Play Rough, but Mightyena confuses him with Swagger, yet regaining Solace's lost attack stat from Mightyena's Intimidate. However, Solace hits himself, so I heal him with a Full Restore. However, Sidney does the same thing after his Mightyena hurts itself from Take Down. Healed from confusion, Solace knocks out Mightyena this time in one hit with Play Rough. Sidney then sends out Shiftry, who Fakes Out Solace, who then knocks out Shiftry with Play Rough afterwards. Sidney sends out Sharpedo, who Slashes, but also gets knocked out by Play Rough. Sidney then sends out Absol, his ace, and I heal Solace with a Full Restore. However, Absol lands a critical hit Slash, but Solace survives. Evenly leveled, Solace is faster, however, as he knocks out Absol with Play Rough, AND levels up. However, he actually has one more Pokemon, Cacturne! However, Cacturne also gets knocked out from Solace's Play Rough. With all of Sidney's sinister Dark-types defeated, I win the battle!

Sidney doesn't really care he lost, as he still had fun battling. He tells me to listen to what he, the loser, has to say. He says that I've got what it takes to go a long way, as I should go on to the next room and challenge my next battle. The doors slide open, and I head through to the next hallway.

I head into the next hallway, and the doors close behind me and lock themselves. I pass through the hanging lavender that is swaying, and walk through the beautiful spectral water lilies on both sides of the bridge. When I get closer, eight spirits emerge and possess the lanterns hanging on the building, illuminating them. A chilling wind blows, and the doors open. I head inside, and I see a girl warming up in a ghostly-lit room. with her purple chair aside. I talk to her, and she laughs, introducing herself as Phoebe of the Elite Four. Just as the screen fades to black, I see a little girl sitting in her chair. What the hell is that, a ghost-girl?! The camera seems to switch to her point of view, and Phoebe says that she did her training on Mt. Pyre. She reveals that while she trained there, she gained the ability to commune with Ghost-type Pokemon. When the camera switches again, the little girl is standing behind me. The fuck is that?! Phoebe says that the bond she developed with her Pokemon is extremely tight, and taunts me, telling me to just try and see if I can even inflict damage on her Pokemon. She laughs, and the battle begins.

You might even have a... Destiny Bond. What, nothing? Okay, let's fight.

Ghost Girl Phoebe (I swear, is that her little sibling or something? That thing is creepy as fuck!) sends out Dusclops, while I send out Solace, who's ready to fight again. Solace strikes with a critical hit Night Slash, knocking out Dusclops. Phoebe sends out Sableye, while I send out Amelia. Sableye Fakes Out Amelia, but she gives Sableye a Draining Kiss next turn, knocking it out. Phoebe sends out Banette, while I send out Solace, who knocks out Banette with a critical hit Night Slash. Phoebe then sends out Dusknoir, her ace (With Wally having a Gallade, I'm not even surprised anymore.), and Solace knocks it out with another critical hit Night Slash. Phoebe sends out another Banette, while I send out Alpha to give it more training. After an Origin Pulse, Banette goes down. With Phoebe's mysterious Ghost-types defeated, I win the battle!

Phoebe's disappointed she lost, but doesn't care. She says that there's definitely a bond between me and my Pokemon too, and didn't recognize that fact, making it only natural that she lost. She'd like to see how far my bond will carry me, and tells me to go ahead and move on to the next room. The doors slide open, and I head to the next hallway.

I head into the next hallway, doors locked, and find that it is snowing, with a bottomless abyss. Or so it is thought. I make my way towards the igloo-like building, and a blizzard causes the door to open and ice to freeze over the path. I head inside, and find a classy-looking woman who looks really pale, with her gray chair aside. She welcomes me, and introduces herself as Glacia of the Elite Four. She's traveled from afar to Hoenn so that she may hone her Ice-type moves, but all she has seen are challenges by weak trainers and their Pokemon. Daaaaaamn, she be calling out ALL of them weak-ass trainers! She wonders what I will show her, and says that it would be a relief if she could, for once, have a serious battle against an opponent. She takes a deep breath, and the battle begins.

Time to prove you wrong because I'm going to burn you out! Let's GET IT!

Classy Woman Glacia sends out Glalie while I send out Mr. Muffintops. Yes, it is TIME for Mr. Muffintops! Mr. Muffintops strikes with Meteor Mash, while surviving Glalie's Crunch. Mr. Muffintops lands another one, and Glalie faints. Glacia sends out Froslass, but unfortunately knocks out poor Mr. Muffintops after healing with a Full Restore. I send out Amelia and revive Mr. Muffintops, while Froslass confuses Amelia with Confuse Ray. I also give Mr. Muffintops another Full Restore while Froslass creates a snowstorm with Hail. I send out Alpha to make a rainstorm with Drizzle, and as Froslass confuses Alpha with Confuse Ray, Alpha pulls through and knocks Froslass out with Origin Pulse. Glacia sends out Walrein, her ace, and I send out Mr. Muffintops, who paralyzes Walrein with Thunder Wave, and strikes with Electro Ball, but gets knocked out by Walrein's Surf. I send out Amelia and revive Mr. Muffintops again, while Glacia heals Walrein with a Full Restore. Amelia calms her mind with Calm Mind, while Walrein tries and fails to land a Sheer Cold. However, it DOES pull off a Blizzard, and manages to freeze poor Amelia. However, it ALSO lands a Sheer Cold... after I heal Amelia with a Full Restore. HAX.... HAX UPON ALL YOUR HOUSES. I send out Solace, and as I revive Amelia, he unfortunately gets knocked out from Walrein's Blizzard. I send out Megaman, and revive Solace, but Megaman gets knocked out from Walrein's Sheer Cold. HAAAAAAAAAX. I send out Alpha, revive Megaman, and heal all of my Pokemon with Full Restores while Walrein spams Body Slam. I switch out Alpha for Megaman after I'm done, but Megaman gets paralyzed by Walrein's Body Slam. Megaman then strikes with a critical hit Meteor Mash, and after a few more hits (Because she LOVES using Full Restores), Walrein finally goes down. But wait, there's two more hax-inducing Pokemon! Glacia sends out Froslass, while I send out Mr. Muffintops. Mr. Muffintops strikes with Meteor Mash, and actually knocks out Froslass. Glacia sends out Glalie, who Protects itself. Glalie Protects itself again after it survives a Meteor Mash, but gets knocked out after the next Meteor Mash. With Glacia's cold Ice-types defeated, I win the battle!

Glacia is amazed at how hot my Pokemon and I's spirits burn, and says that our spirits burn fiercely. She says that her icy moves pale in the face of such all-consuming flames, and tells me to advance to the next room. She says that there I will learn how fearsome the Pokemon League can truly be. The door slides open, and I head to the next hallway.

I head into the next hallway, and the doors shut. I find myself in a room filled with lava, and make my way to the ancient-looking building. I stop when lava rises over the bridge, giving a lava show. I then see two more lava comets swirl up to the skull, and it lights up with fire flaring out, and the bars rise up on the door, opening the way. I then see a red chair at the side, and a man who's dressed like a captain, and speak to him. He introduces himself as the last of the Pokemon League Elite Four, Drake the Dragon Master. He explains that in their natural state, Pokemon are wild living things, and they are free. He says that at times they hinder us, but at times they help us. He asks me if I know what it takes for us to battle alongside Pokemon as partners, and if I know what is needed. He then takes a deep breath, and declares that if I don't, I will never prevail over him. With that said, the battle begins.

I'll prove to you that the bond I share with my Pokemon is stronger than yours!

Dragon Master Drake sends out Altaria while I send out Mr. Muffintops. Mr. Muffintops paralyzes Altaria, and I switch out for Amelia, who knocks it out with Draining Kiss. Drake sends out Flygon, who gets hit by Draining Kiss, but gets healed by Drake's Full Restore. He uses another one after I hit it again, but gets knocked out afterward with one more. Drake sends out another Flygon, and Amelia knocks it out with another Draining Kiss. Drake sends out Kingdra, and it Yawns on Amelia as she hits herself from the first Flygon's Supersonic. Next turn, Amelia falls asleep, but after one turn of falling asleep, she wakes up AND snaps out of confusion, and knocks out Kingdra with a Draining Kiss. Drake sends out Salamence, while I send out Alpha, who wipes out Salamence with Ice Beam. With all of Drake's mythical Dragon-types defeated, I win the battle!

Drake is proud, as I have done a superb job. He says that I deserve every credit for coming this far as a Pokemon Trainer, and do seem to know what is needed. He says that what a trainer needs is a true and virtuous heart, and it is through their contact with trainers that Pokemon learn right from wrong. He says that the influence of their trainers' good hearts helps them grow strong. He tells me to go onward, as the Champion is waiting. The doors slide open, and I head onward.

I find myself in a seemingly longer hallway than before, and as I make my way through, the large doors open, and I prepare myself for what is yet to come. I climb the ancient steps, and stand face to face in a large monochrome room with none other than... Steven. He turns around to meet me, and welcomes me. He says that he was hoping he would get to see me make it here one day, and asks me to tell him something. He asks me what I have seen on my journey with my Pokemon, and asks what I have felt, meeting so many other trainers out there. He asks if traveling this rich land of Hoenn has awoken something inside me, and wants me to come at him with all that I have learned. He says that his Pokemon and he will respond in turn with all that they know, and declares to begin the battle.

Steven... Let us begin with what I have learned... I've learned all sorts of new things, but what I've learned most of all... is that YOU'RE about to get yo ASS whooped! LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Champion Steven sends out Skarmory while I send out Mr. Muffintops. With his Pokemon slightly stronger than mine, Mr. Muffintops paralyzes Skarmory, who sets up Spikes. Finally, a good, strong trainer! Mr. Muffintops strikes with a critical hit Electro Ball, which Skarmory survives with Sturdy. It then poisons Mr. Muffintops with Toxic, and Steven heals it with a Full Restore as Mr. Muffintops hits it again with Electro Ball. Mr. Muffintops paralyzes it again, and knocks it out with Electro Ball. Steven sends out Aggron, while I send out Alpha, who Primal Reverts this time, and Alpha nearly wipes Aggron with Origin Pulse, but survives thanks to Sturdy. Alpha Surfs on Aggron, knocking it out. Steven sends out Cradily, who confuses Alpha with Confuse Ray, but that doesn't stop Alpha from wiping it with two Origin Pulses. Steven sends out Claydol, who also gets wiped from Alpha's Origin Pulse. Steven sends out Armaldo, who ALSO gets wiped from Alpha's Origin Pulse. Steven sends out Metagross, his ace, while I send out Megaman. He Mega Evolves his Metagross with his Mega Stickpin, and I Mega Evolve Megaman, and have him use Agility while his Metagross strikes with Giga Impact. Megaman strikes with Hammer Arm, while it recharges, and it repeats with Giga Impact. However, it knocks down Megaman after using Bullet Punch, so I send out Alpha to finish the job. This was what I wanted all along, the big moment! Alpha avoids Metagross' Giga Impact, but knocks it out with Origin Pulse. With all of Steven's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle and reign victorious!

Steven turns and sighs that he, the Champion, falls in defeat, and says that was expected. He commends that I am truly an excellent Pokemon Trainer, and congratulates me. He also thanks me, and had wanted to learn how I felt about the world, what kind of ideals I have developed with my Pokemon, etc. He feels he was able to find the answer in our battle, and commends that the feelings I have for my Pokemon and the way that my Pokemon gave their all in response to those feelings created a great power. He says that is how I seized victory today, and felt a thrill of excitement in his breast (lol, he said breast) when we first met, and now he knows for sure that feeling was not misplaced. He proclaims that I am rightfully the Hoenn region's new...

Just then, May cockblocks my championship and says that she's got some advice I've GOT to hear before I challenge the Champion... but realizes that she's already too late, as I have seized victory tonight. She realizes it's already over, and Professor Birch shows up, telling her I would be just fine. Well no shit, I have a FUCKING KYOGRE with me. How ELSE did I achieve victory? Plus half of his team is fucking Steel-types, while the other half is damn Rock-types with the exception of a Ground type, and even then, it's STILL weak to Water attacks. So honestly, he was doomed to begin with. Professor Birch says I've finally done it, and says that when he heard that I defeated my own father at the Petalburg Gym, he thought perhaps I had a chance. But to think I've actually become the Champion, holy shit! He congratulates me on today's victory, and tells me to go in there with my head held high. Steven calls me the Hoenn region's new Pokemon League Champion, and tells me to come with him. I follow him, but MAY decides to be a bitch and tag along. However, just before we go in there, Steven blocks her bitchass, and says that only a trainer who has successfully become the Champion may go beyond this point, and that she'll need to wait outside with the professor. How she even came here in the first place is beyond me. Maybe she and her dad have "special privileges." Either that, or she probably had her own way of making it... May cries like a little bitch about it, but then says that she's just joking, saying it's okay, and that rules are rules. She congratulates me again, and I follow Steven. Bitch, I'm the Champion now, not you. You missed your chances AGES ago when you friendzoned me. Later, loser!

We head into the Hall of Fame, and it automatically saves. Steven tells me that this room is where they maintain the records of Pokemon that prevailed through the harshest of battles, and it is here that League Champions are honored. He says that we will use this machine to record my name and the names of the partners who battled along with me to triumph over the Pokemon League. I place my Pokeballs on the golden machine, and register our names into history, with a big "Congratulations" message.

I then step out of the Hall of Fame, and May welcomes me back alone. She says that since we're both here, she'd wait for me, wanting to finish it with me. She laughs, and says that we should head for Littleroot Town. Awwww, how fucking romantic! Of course I'll ride with you back home!

We then ride our bikes together romantically as the credits play with amazing music, and it shows my whole adventure with my Pokemon. From start to end, it accurately displays the Pokemon I was with. Well, almost. Sometimes it displays the Pokemon I didn't use in certain battles, but still. We then ride through the cities as we look through the night sky. We then look at each other, and remember the pond where we first battled. May asks me if I can do something for her, and wants to battle one more time. She wants to know what I saw on my journey, and wants to understand everything about me and my Pokemon, and wants me to understand her and her Pokemon.

...You know, I almost misinterpreted what you said in so many ways. Girl, I just became the Champion, all I want to do is SLEEP. But fine, prepare to get yo ass beat one last time!

May sends out Swellow while I send out Mr. Muffintops. Bitch, this is EXACTLY why you're not the Champion. You don't even have a sixth Pokemon, bitch! And, your Pokemon's minimum level is 48! Don't try to go into the Hall of Fame when you are nowhere NEAR the Champion's level! Mr. Muffintops paralyzes Swellow with Thunder Wave, and avoids Swellow's attack. Swellow then goes down from Electro Ball, and May sends out Wailord, who ALSO goes down from Thunder Wave and Electro Ball. For some reason though, I don't seem to be getting experience for my Pokemon. Fine by me, because May is too weak as HELL to get experience from. May sends out Breloom, while I send out Amelia, who knocks out Breloom with a Draining Kiss. May sends out Raichu, who paralyzes Amelia while she calms her mind with Calm Mind. Raichu then sets up a Light Screen, which softens Draining Kiss, but isn't effective against Psychic, which knocks Raichu out. May sends out Blaziken, so I send out Sebastian, and we each Mega Evolve our very first Pokemon with our Mega Bracelets... Well, I thought I could, but I have Sebastian holding a Lucky Egg, so I switch him out for Megaman and Mega Evolve it. Honestly, it was a bad call, as Blaziken gets two boosts from Speed Boost, AND knocks out Megaman with two Blaze Kicks. Time to kick it old school... As another part of the throwback, I send out Alpha to match with Blaziken, my starter in Sapphire. Alpha Primal Reverts, and with just one Origin Pulse, Blaziken is done for. With all of May's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle!

May is silent, and thanks me, as I really am a Champion. She says that meeting so many people and encountering so many Pokemon is really, really fun. She then stops walking, and tells me to look at the sky. We see shooting starts, and it's really, really romantic. We keep looking into the night sky, and the story ends.... I look at my Pokeballs, and my mother says that she knows dad's watching his show, but they planned to go watch the meteor shower in Mossdeep. Dad, however, has to stay at the gym. Mother's fine with it, but Dad has something else in mind for the tickets... It then shows a mysterious Delta symbol...

Is this... The End? Or is it... A New Beginning?

Current Stats:

The team leveled up a lot, and FINALLY, after almost two long years, I have finally beaten Alpha Sapphire! However, intrigued by the mysterious Delta symbol, I might as well do the post-story and the Delta Episode!

Chapter XXII: A New Beginning, And A Mysterious New Threat!

XX:XX, the XXth Day of the XXth Month

The night sky goes over to Mossdeep's Space Center Celestial Observatory. An alarm sounds off, and a scientist alerts Professor Cozmo about the meteor's trajectory, reporting that it's suddenly changed direction. He informs him that now it's on a collision course with our planet, and Cozmo tell him to recheck the data, update the course calculations, and confirm the new trajectory. One of the coworkers states that the target is locked on, and confirms the meteoroid's new expected trajectory. She states that according to the numbers, it should make impact... somewhere southwest of Sootopolis, on a small island off of Route 131! Cozmo is still surprised that it changed trajectories midflight, and suspects that it's almost like it's alive. The other scientist goes into shock, and demands what do they do, and Cozmo snaps him out of it, telling him to calm himself. He sees that it's come to this, and the screen fades.

It goes straight to the summit of a tower somewhere, and shows the same white Team Aqua grunt from before and a Whismur. She takes off her Team Aqua grunt clothes, and cloaks herself with her cape. She is relieved, as she feels so free, stating that the uniform got pretty stinky after a while, and all sweaty, too. She turns to Aster, her Whismur, and asks if it's that happy to see her looking like herself again. She calls the Whismur cute like always, but turns and states that there's not much time left for them. She states that it'll only be a matter of weeks... no, DAYS. She says that things have gotten a bit tricky now, since that kid managed to stop one of the super-ancient Pokemon from being revived like it should've been. She says that it's not a really big deal, because she's already thought of a new plan. She says that if she just tweaks a bit with a Key Stone, one with plenty of THAT built up... She then looks up into the sky, and swears that she will protect Aster...

So let me get this straight. You manipulated Team Aqua, so you could awaken Kyogre? BITCH, I had to catch that thing all by myself! They sent a KID into a dangerous room in a dark cave! And Aster? Aster is standing right next to you, what the hell are you looking at the sky for?

I wake up, and head downstairs. I find my parents downstairs, and Dad greets me. He says that it's been some time since he last saw me, but I look... stronger, as that's the impression he gets. He says that he hasn't given up yet, but then remembers that before he forgets, he was thinking of giving something to me. He gives me a pair of tickets, and says that they're tickets to the star show that's being held at the Mossdeep Space Center. He was planning on going with my mom, but he's got to rush back to the gym in Petalburg. He then has an idea, and suggests I invite that little cutie May from next door to come along. Dad, you DO realize your own wife is standing right behind you? Dumbass. Sides, May's gonna be my wifey, not yours, so bye, Dad! He says he has to go, and thanks his wife for looking after the house while he's away. Is that all she's good for? Looking after the house? Whatever happened to you getting busy? Where's my sibling who's mysteriously gone? Explains why my mother's a bitch, sending me away and all that shit... She tells him to have a safe trip, and he leaves. She then walks over to me, and starts talking shit behind his back, saying that he comes home for the first time in ages, and all he talks about is Pokemon. She wonders why he can't ever just let go and relax. I mean, hell, what was he ever good for? He didn't teach me shit at all. He lends WALLY a fucking Pokemon so he can catch his own damn RALTS, and he didn't teach me shit. Only people who looked out for me was May and Professor Birch. Hell, they might as well adopt me, because YOU kicked me out of the damn house too! Plus, sharing a room with May wouldn't be so bad at all, if you know what I mean... ( ´‿ゝ`) Point is, fuck this shit, I'm out. You and Dad can go talk it out and shit, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm gonna be off catching more Pokemon. Later, Mom!

However, the TV magically comes on, and says that tomorrow, the long-awaited star show will finally begin, saying they've got all the latest news and updates. Mom tells me to look at the TV, and the newscaster announces that at last, the Litleonid meteor shower returns to illuminate Hoenn's night sky, and that the star show held at the Mossdeep Space Center will provide the best view of the shooting stars from the center's lofty viewing deck. They hope we all will take the chance to join... The TV then mysteriously turns off, and Mom says it sounds lovely. She remembers going to see the Litleonids with my dad 11 years ago when they last passed by. She suggests I march right over to invite that neighbor girl I'm friends with, and says I can't let that pair of tickets I got from Dad go to waste, so I should take her along. Pretty much my plan all along as soon as you gave me those tickets. You both are helping me one step closer to getting that girl, so that's ONE thing I should thank you for! Bye, Mom!

I leave the house, and find the mysterious girl from the tower right at my doorstep. SERIOUSLY, how the hell do you know where I live?! Now you're about to invite EVERYBODY to my house, including Team Magma and Team Aqua! Oh HELL no! She asks if we are in sync or what, and says that she was JUST thinking about me. Yeah, and I was just thinking about May, but I mean, if you want to get into a threesome, that's totally fine, I was planning on building a harem anyway once I became Champion, so it's cool, no biggie. She says that it's great to meet me, because it's our first real meeting. She introduces herself as Zinnia, and she knows ALL about me. I swear, if you're just like that one stalker... TELL ME YOU'RE NOT A KILLER CLOWN IN DISGUISE, I'LL WHOOP YOUR ASS ACROSS THE REGION AND BACK. She knows I'm the new Pokemon League Champion, and I'm one of those special few who use Mega Evolution to get even closer to their Pokemon. STAY THE FUCK BACK, I'VE GOT A BIGASS FISH IN MY TEAM, AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO UNLEASH HELL AGAIN! Aster whispers to her, and she understands, and says that she'll leave it alone. She says that she's stopping, and looks around Littleroot Town, saying that it sure is a niiiiice place, and everybody living here is just so niiiiice too, like that neighbor of mine. BITCH, you better stay AWAY from her, she's mine, so unless you want to join in, then stay away. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WON'T CUT YOU? She apologizes, and says that she didn't mean to go on like that. She says that we should keep our first meeting short and sweet, and says until next time. She runs off with Aster, I'm just like... What the hell...

I head to May's house, and she is with her mother, but in pain... Did your mother smack you for being a bitch earlier for cockblocking my victory? Show some respect next time, girl! However, it turns out she hurt herself. Did you cut yourself after I beat your ass in that battle? And who even says "wibble" anymore, Mrs. Birch? May tells her it's not that big of a deal, and says that she just knocked her down a bit. Hold up, did Zinnia go ninja kicking your ass? She didn't go to the front door at all, she just ran off with her Whismur. Did she go GTA on your ass and beat you up by crawling through your window? That's why you always keep your windows LOCKED! She cries out in pain, and I enter the house. She's silent, but greets me. She asks if I'm alright, and is relieved when I say I am. She says that it all happened so fast, she couldn't do a thing, but... some strange woman came in her window, upstairs, and then she took her Key Stone from her. Yup, that is why you always keep your window LOCKED. She tried to fight her off with her team, but she was really strong, and May didn't stand a chance. However, she thinks she heard her muttering under her breath as she left, though, something like "Petalburg's next..." She tells me to be careful, and her mother wonders who could have done such a thing to her sweet girl. SHIT, she's gonna go after my boi Wally next! Better do something about that. Time to whoop some bitchass! Maybe by the end, I'll beat her team so hard, I'll make her my bitch when I'm done, because NOBODY fucks with my homies and gets away with it! TO THE TREV-MOBILE!

I head back to my house to heal my Pokemon, but then as soon as I leave, Professor Birch cries out for help again, and I immediately head to Route 101. Sure enough, he's being chased by a Shroomish this time, and sees me. He tells me to help a professor out, and says that he's got some Pokeballs in his bag there. When I look in his bag, I find a Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile! Since I already have Sebastian and Alpha with me, I choose Cyndaquil, and save Professor Birch. He appreciates me helping him out, and says I can keep Cyndaquil, stating it's from the Johto Region, where I'm from anyways. I put Cyndaquil in the box, and Professor Birch hopes to see me later. He somehow gets the feeling that he will, if he sticks around here, and he and Shroomish head back to Littleroot Town.
