No they're up roughly 15%. 2.1 penalties called per game. But we all knew this would be the case entering the season. Well assuming you even remotely heard what was happening during the pre season. This league has become way more offensive oriented.

I don't think this is a majorly offensive year. Defense has stepped up in a lot of places such as New England, Cleveland, St. Louis, Texas (Both Texans and Cowboys)

J.J. Watt, Richard Sherman, Joe Haden, Vince Wilfork, Derelle Revis, Brandon Browner, and even what used to be the Panther's Defense have been showing a lot of back bone in a lot of games. Sure, Rodgers, Brady, and Peyton are having impressive seasons but you need to remember that they would be nothing without the picks each of those teams have been forcing lately.

Which leads me to another take or leave it

Take it or Leave it

J.J Watt wins the MPV

Thursday's Headlines

>Bears benching Jay Culter in favor of Jimmy Clausen

>Jim Harbaugh considering Michigan Job

>49ers release DE Ray McDonald amid investigation regarding domestic violence

Jimmy Clausen, the poor boy who got tossed in the Trash after Scammy came to town. Good shot for him to prove himself.

season long discussion continues

AND OFC 49ers would release a trouble guy after they fail to make the playoffs. Didn't feel right when he was accused the first time eh?

EDIT: CHARGERS SUCK!

Pretty much yea. The Packers and Lions have a game next week to determine which one of them gets the NFC North. Same thing with the Bengals and Steelers for the AFC North. Man, this is some crazy stuff going on.
