Support Squad Felicity Posted December 18, 2014 Support Squad Share Posted December 18, 2014 Ok, for those of you who don't know, Town of Salem is a browser game that had a kickstarter for a while that involves a lot of trickery and backstabbing and deception. A game I expect a few people here would approve of. If you want an example-ish, go check out the Mafia forum game ran by Jericho, Salem is a more dynamic version of that. So, this topics name. I figured it'd be nice if we made this a community thing, because playing with Random people on that game can be frustrating. Here, slightly less so. This would include tournaments at a set time each week with a small prize of rupees for each winner. Not gonna lie, not all the kinks have been worked out, but it's enough for an interest check, no? May I point out that, last time we had something similar on this forum (not long ago), there was actually the need of a topic (which apparently got lost in the redesigning of the forum) to explain to people that they didn't need to get mad over it to the point of breaking up friendships? Do save me a spot if this idea takes off the ground. that being said, it might be better to not include prizes as a reward, as this sort of thing tends to cause a bit of friction. I was a jailor and accidentally executed Dobby, who was vigilante, and Pineapple was executioner, and later jester. Even in a game of mafia there will be times where a lack of trust will lead to the wrong person killed. And the exe/jester aren't really supposed to help the town, just themselves.
