By the way, if you're concerned about party balance, Silef can fight at range and in melee, but lacks in the ability to simply eat attacks.

Which is why I figured Dorian would work well. The commoner protecting the noble, seeing as Dorian is pretty much a magical tank.

EDIT: @Charizard, I think the vamp party is full.

Ah-ah-ah.

The party following Ailios is full. Nobody's said you're fighting the vampires yet,

That said, said party is already hitting past seven members (Ailios, Silef, Dorian, Vix, Ayak, Roland and Ritcher) so I'd suggest two of you to relocate.

For deciding that, I think the simplest way of deciding things is first come, first serve, though the phrase isn't ideal to describe it.

Question: Would silver be a Bane against Vampires and Werewolves like it is in most other Fantasy settings, or is that not the case for this particular world?

Silver does not deal more damage to them. In fact, none of their "common" weaknesses (such as holy water or garlic for vampires) are applicable; Rather, they're more along the lines of humans with a highly contagious disease. As in, they are not supernatural creatures. They're still human, and will die like any other human would.

Only they have a couple of superhuman abilities (much like yourselves)

Completely irrelevant side-note: 100th post ayyyyy

So far this is what's been decided..

Asgall Ailos Iain

Roland Charleson Silef Asterflux Karn Jael

Wintershed Zix Mayanna Colbez

Richter Belmont Ayak Tanahmas Kryst Blare

Ayla Dorian Mcallister Raven Capashen

This is considering first come first serve.. Silef, Zix, Ayak, Dorian, Roland and Richter need to decide who stays in Ailos' group.

I know this is a double post, but regardless, 'tis a needed announcement. In ten hours' time, the parties will be set in stone. At that point, there is only one last thing to do in Starting Point, and each party will be moving on to it's own thread.

If the players of Ayla and Wintershed have not returned by the time all decisions have been made and it's time for their team to go on their merry way, two new characters will be allowed/needed to join to properly continue.

Keep in mind there's nothing against a player having several characters in one or multiple parties. So for those in the other parties, if you want to join up, you're free to.

p.s. Double Posts are allowed if you need to bump the thread/bring attention to something. So, it is in your right as a host to do so if you need people to see a deadline etc...etc...

Basically, no need to worry about it. If they is ever a problem I will be the one to let ya know.

With this, the final decision is reached! These are the parties, listed as a much appreciated courtesy from sir Yash, lord of Sleep, himself:

Asgall Ailos Iain

Roland Charleson Silef Asterflux Karn Jael

Wintershed Zix Mayanna Colbez

Richter Belmont Ayak Tanahmas Kryst Blare

Ayla Dorian Mcallister Raven Capashen

And now we have until the 7th of january to reach the next decision. Any who may wish to play more than one character or adopt Ayla or Wintershed in case they do not return by then are also welcome to contact me via private messaging.

Carry on, citizens.

hmm... should I duel run here and make another healer to go with another party encase they don't turn up? because we literally only have, like, two... and one of those two can only heal himself if I understand his abilities correctly.
