Chevaleresse
So yeah, here's my attempt at a stall team. @ Eviolite Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD Bold Nature - Heal Bell - Wish - Protect - Seismic Toss Pretty basic Chansey set. Wish+Protect allows self-heals and wastes turns, allowing some of the other things on the team to do their thing. Heal Bell alleviates the fact that the team is somewhat weak to burn, and Seismic Toss is taken over Toxic since other things are already spreading status. @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Impish Nature - Whirlwind - Spikes - Roost - Drill Peck Full Sp.D investment with Impish nature maxes out stat boosts and allows Skarmory to take special hits (usually a Rotom-W Volt Switch) if needed. Spikes is taken over SR because Heatran sets rocks, and Drill Peck has no recoil. @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Iron Barbs EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def Relaxed Nature IVs: 0 Spe - Leech Seed - Gyro Ball - Toxic - Protect Toxic something, Leech Seed it, and force tons of switches, allowing hazard damage to rack up. Protect wastes turns, and Rocky Helmet can allow for surprise eliminations of physical attackers such as Talonflame that have already set up, though this often results in Ferrothorn's loss. @ Air Balloon Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD Calm Nature - Lava Plume - Stealth Rock - Protect - Will-O-Wisp Compensates for the HUGE fire weakness on the team, sets rocks, and neuters most physical attackers. Pretty standard set, not much to say. @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Impish Nature - Volt Switch - Rapid Spin - Toxic Spikes - Explosion/Stealth Rock @ 334nite Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Return - Dragon Dance - Roost - Substitute A somewhat bulky sweeper to round out the team and provide endgame cleaning. Pixilate Return hits absurdly hard, and Substitute+Roost ensure that it is difficult to revenge kill. Chansey (F) @ Eviolite Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD Bold Nature - Heal Bell - Wish - Protect - Seismic Toss Skarmory @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Impish Nature - Whirlwind - Spikes - Roost - Drill Peck Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Iron Barbs EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def Relaxed Nature IVs: 0 Spe - Leech Seed - Gyro Ball - Toxic - Protect Heatran @ Air Balloon Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD Calm Nature - Lava Plume - Stealth Rock - Protect - Will-O-Wisp Forretress @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Impish Nature - Volt Switch - Rapid Spin - Toxic Spikes - Explosion Altaria @ Altarianite Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Return - Dragon Dance - Roost - Substitute Too much steel, I know. Jelly
i dont have much time to post any in-depth rates, but all im saying is you get buttfucked by magnezone. e: saw the last line... lol i'd get rid of heatran and forre. replace toxic on ferro with spikes. and spikes on skarm with rocks. drill peck to brave bird. add a lati twin of your choice for fire resist/defog. i'll add more later if no one else comments. Lord Bagel
I must say I hate using stall so I'm not used to team building but I would suggest alomomola amoongus core. I honestly don't know which pokemon you would want to replace but I find the regenerator core between the two of them very good for stall and until greninja is banned alomomola stops greninja very well. Also for your heatran skitty's heatran set could work well in stall, you give it magma storm to trap and with leftovers, toxic and protect stall kill the trapped opponent. Raindrop Valkyrie
I kinda feel like Forretress needs to be popped out..... I dunno I just feel like he doesn't really add anything to your team. And also....I am never really a fan of spikes....they take too long to set up imo... Deleted User
Tentacruel could work well in place of Forretress IMO. Also give you a nice FWG core.
Chevaleresse
I always forget that Tentacruel exists. I'll probably make that change, at least. Forretress works better on balanced teams anw, I just like it for Rapid Spin.
Reignited'Light
Your team doesn't look too promising as a stall team. So I revamped the entire team (movesets and EVs) into something that would probably be better. Softboiled>Protect on Chansey because chansey will be more predictable. In stall, you should always be able to instantly recover yourself up to full. It doesn't need Max HP to pass a ton of HP to its allies. Shed Shell>Leftovers because Magnezone is running amok in OU. Skarmory is a vital pokemon in every stall team. And I gave it Stealth Rocks>Spikes. It has Defog to get rid of annoying hazards aiming at stall. Ferrothorn I just switched Toxic out for Spikes that skarmory previously had. The EVs allow you to take hits better from Mega Gardevoir and other special attackers. Your Heatran is alright. But I gave it a Magma Storm set that demolishes most stall and traps unexpected Wish passing pokes like Sylveon who think they can take the "lava plume". The other moves allow you to stall out the pokemon until it dies. Earth Power is just there for coverage since it pairs well with Magma Storm. Quagsire>Forretress because you absolutely need something to stop physical sweepers. It can Toxic stall them as well with it's decent Defense stat and its ability Unaware! Compliments the Fire/Water/Grass core very nicely as well. Altaria, I didn't change anything other than the EVs. It should be all fine and dandy now. http://hastebin.com/raw/jiwubuyiva.mdYou are free to pick whatever changes you want from what I gave you instead of using the whole team. I probably fucked up somewhere when I made this post, so if the hastebin and whatever I said doesn't go together, go with what is in the hastebin lol. Raindrop Valkyrie
this is where Hukuna just realized he totally forgot Shed Shell for Skarm. But yea, that is definitely required in the current meta as Magnezone is pretty heavily run for trapping and killing Steel Types. ((I have actually seen one with HP Ground for killing Heatran before....not saying that is good, just...I have seen it XD.)) Basically, I don't play stall really. But, I can tell you a lot of the thing Skits suggested are very good, and will move you are more or less to stall. ((your team was kinda sitting in this weird place between Stall and like Bulky Offense. It was rather strange. Anyways, good luck with the battles man. Sonikku
You could always run the legendary Choice Banded Bulldoze on Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn can actually do really well with a Choice Band. 252 Atk Choice Band Ferrothorn Bulldoze vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Magnezone: 280-332 (99.6 - 118.1%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO A beneficial nature for attack is a clean OHKO. The Magnezone is the standard Choice Scarf. Also, another Heatran could take care of your team pretty well. You'd might want to run Quaqsire as Skitty said and maybe Earthquake over Sub on Altaria. If you fear the status move, run the all-powerful Facade instead of Return.

Kamina
In stall you are trying to make sure that all your members are alive so that they keep tanking and whittling down opposing pokemon. If you are going to have a forretress in your stall team, which I already think is a bad idea given the amount of bulkier defoggers who can recover their own hp and better spinners (tentacruel), don't make it explode. This same theory applies to heatran who should be holding leftovers to get more passive recovery and not trying to dodge eq on a balloon.
