Now that I'm between episodes, I'm kinda running low on money (IN-GAME). The daily battles in the central building (Opal Ward) don't earn me that much either.
Are there other ways to get a quicker buck (if so, which are the quickest)?
(No, being lucky while mining is not a solution I admire.)

You can use the cheat-engine to get some illegal money.

Payday Meowth is also a not so bad solution.

The mining is a good place to get star pieces to sell for money.

Try selling things you don't need maybe?

(Also I don't know if we can get amulate coin as of now. That could have helped a lot.)

Well, I don't like cheating, so payday sounds interesting.
Mining relies quite a lot on luck, I'm already happy if I find a new fossil (Dome...so close :/) or a plate.
And I sold quite a lot already, those super potions were rotting there anyway.

You can try fighting the trainers at the Grand Hall, form a pickup team, sell vitamins, etc.

That's what I meant with the central building in Opal Ward, but sometimes it doesn't even net 1000 bucks total in one day :/

Pick up team is probably your best option (the higher the level the better). Sell the stuff you don't need from that. And check the daily lottery everyday too. You can get full restores and stuff there that sell pretty well. The more trades you've done the higher your chance of winning.

I'm not sure how these actually work because I have yet to run into money problems (probably because I almost never use potions) but good luck.

I bought some of them twice, to use while breeding and simultaneously EV training, and still have money.
Try a pickup team. Otherwise, buy oran berries, exchange them for moomoo milk and sell the milk. Trade.

Other than daily battles, pick up team is advised. I do not spend money on healing items and use what I get from pick up so I am rolling in money. I advise you not to spend things on trivial things and thus you save money. If you do need healing items, buy oran berries and give them to Miltanks for Moo Moo milk.

Well, I had something around 30k (bought the calcenon stairs), and it went up in smoke while breeding for IV's and moves (and power items to do so).

Now I'm running 3 pickup'ers of which a lvl 31 meowth with pay day. It isn't fast, but much faster than waiting for 1-3 battles a day.

The milk option is something I should consider doing.

EDIT: milking is a real chore, and the extra profit over time is negligible compared to pay day (which you can pair to pickup, with random extra profit).
