Deleted User
Well I like how in 2.5 they had an even harder difficulty, but I think they need to expand on that in gameplay mechanics as well.
Godot
Critical Mode? Ya, that started from BbS
SilverJakler
I can proudly say I beat BBS on Critical Mode... although I've heard that KH2's Critical mode is harder than that. As for the command reactions, I would also like to see them come back. Now in terms of gameplay, it seems like 3 is gonna have the same gameplay as 1 and 2, instead of having command decks and cooldowns, we're finally returning to the MP system. Also, this may just be a alpha/pre-alpha detail, but instead of stylized portraits for the characters' HP/MP bars there seem to be pictures of their in-game models instead. Personally I hope to see the return of the stylized portraits, they just brought something special to the mix.

Cepheus
@Zagan To be fair - BbS was released on Sony's PSP, while KH1+2 were released on PS2, no wonder it didn't sell as much. You just can't compare a 3 games which sold on a different platfrom to 3 games that sold on the same platform. and personally I didn't find BbS that hard (on normal difficulty at least), and Critical-Mode is ALWAYS AN OPTION... that means it isn't forced on you, it is your choice. The only thing that was difficult for me were the "Ice-cream rhythm-mini-game" (because I suck at rhythm games... I needed a whole day to get a perfect on that one song for the final Ice-cream... Q.Q), the optional-bosses... Noheart, Vanitas' Remnant, 'Mysterious Person', and Masters-Armor
Support Squad Felicity Posted January 18, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted January 18, 2015 I have to agree with Cepheus in that the difficulty is always an option. And on the topi of difficulty, whilst easier games sell ore, harder, better designed games get more renown in game communities which gives them a much longer life span and is an incentive for a creator on a personal level to push for quality. Maelstrom
Playing through BBS with Ventus right now. I'd forgotten just how much he looked up to Terra. BBS meld command recipes

chuckles
Now hold on...KH games can be very easy or very hard depending on the set difficulty but also, moreso, on the amount of grinding you do. I've done runs of both main games in which I only kill enemies I feel that I have to kill, or at least, I ignore most enemies and I never grind. If you do this, you get through the story pretty quickly, but I remember fighting Xaldin at around level 30, and that was bad. It was tough as hell. Fighting Sephiroth at lv40-ish in either game is absurdly difficult though. Especially in KH1, without the special commands. Anyway, I'm hoping to see....actually, nothing, really. I know they'll have a wonderful combat system. I know they'll have some great worlds. I can't reallly say I want anything in particular in KH3. Also, call me crazy, but I loved the card system in RE:COM and would love to see that again in the future, perhaps in another spinoff game.
