latinrazor
Well the thing i havent understood or learn is if the pokemon in reborn follow the same stadistic development like the original i know that that depend too of the IV/EV but i have seen many videos where for example stunkfish is a waste of time to train becouse is a terrible pokemon no matter IV/EV and where pokemon like lucario, alakazam and gengar are ones of the most stronger that my only question i have been trying to catch as many pokemon as i can but i dont want to waste time leveling pokemon that in the end dont going to have the same performance that others of their same type. Another question i have i really never understood the ability pick up the think i want to know is the ability is always active even if the pokemon is not battling or need to battle yes or yes? i have never use a pokemon with that ability or care i was a player that overleveling my pokemon yes im ashemed of myself now that i have been playing this game T_T Edited January 6, 2015 by latinrazor
AuthorReborn
All pokemon base stats are the same as if you were playing X, Y, OR, or AS. Also, you will have to train up some trashy Pokemon in the early game since a lot of the better pokemon aren't obtainable until past a couple of gym badges. Gastly and Ralts require four badges. Abra requires six. And Riolu requires all but one of the currently obtainable badges, which brings you up to about level 70. So you will need to train up pokemon you wouldn't normally use to survive long enough to obtain some of these better Pokemon. Edit: about pickup... you need to engage in battles for pickup to work. Just check your picker-uper after a fight and see if they grabbed anything, Edited January 6, 2015 by AuthorReborn
latinrazor
thanks for the info about pick up my question is if the pokemon with pick up need to be the one in the battle or it can be any other pokemon and the pick up pokemon only stay in the team and pick up is activated in any battle or only with trainers
Nova
thanks for the info about pick up my question is if the pokemon with pick up need to be the one in the battle or it can be any other pokemon and the pick up pokemon only stay in the team and pick up is activated in any battle or only with trainers The Pickup user has to be in the party, but doesn't have to be in the battle itself, for Pickup to be able to take effect. It works on both wild battles and Trainers. Edited January 6, 2015 by Nova
Commander
No, a pokemon just randomly picks up items ocasionally after battle regardless if it participates or not. As for Reborn, you'll probably struggle a bit at the start, but you'll get the hang of it. Don't worry, even pros have to soft reset a couple of times once in a while (glares at Aya). Chris211
You can check the total stats of a pokemon in this site : http://pokemondb.net/ The bigger the total number of its stats ,the stronger the pokemon is, but thats not always true. For example: alakazam has 50 points in attack that are useless, since it uses special attack(very high special attack stat), I prefer those pokemons(only physical or only special attackers) since you can pick a nature that reduce the one and increase the other stat. In other cases if you wanted a pokemon to be physical and special attacker too, you would have to reduce special or physical defense or speed. I would be in a lot of trouble deciding that Example: raticate has 413 total stat while snorlax has 540,both normal types. guess which one is better. but you cant have snorlax in reborn yet
derekwst3
don't worry about the more powerful pokemon use the ones you feel are comfortable with you, if you can get a exp.share it will make raising your pokemon in the future easier. ej190
i just reset my game becouse for reason the other one crashed well in this new game i capture a teddiursa and when i check she has pick up Make sure to catch a pachirishu, the zigzagoon, and some meowths if you're planning to make a pickup team. Since teddiursa and meowth need to stay in their base forms(persion and ursaring don't have pickup) linoone will be the heavy hitter with pachi as the tank and Meowth since payday cash=level*
