Raindrop Valkyrie
The Sitch. In the lands of Aurora, in the small town of Winter's Bite... A foul wind stirs. Rumors of a group of bandits circle the town. It is believed they mean to bring a great misfortune upon this quaint little village. 8 Heros have answered the call to adventure. They come from all walks of life and are ready for adventure. Are you ready to Answer the call and pick up the mantle of one of these great heros? Hello and welcome friends to Sensei Hukuna's first Project Reroll RP. This RP is to take place in the Universe of Graterras and will be a one-shot adventure. Players will take control of one of 8 pre-made heros and go on a small scope adventure, one full of action and peril in a bite-sized chuck!!! I will provide a link here for a bit of context of the world of Graterras to the OOC of the main RP: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7827 The Reroll's Bios. ((Rerolls will be what I refer to Host created Player Characters. I will personally be randomly assigning one of these characters to people who sign up. All will be explained in the section below this one.)) personalities won't be fully described, just flashes of them. I want players to be able to have somewhere they can tailor the character and personality is a good place that doesn't have a huge variance in how they work, just how they play or come to life. Lord Gradun. ((Grah-dune.)). The Self Proclaimed Lord of Dance and Song. Race: Victonari ((Half-Dragon.)) Gender: Male Class: Bard ((guile Rogue.)) Age: 46 HP: 12 Appearance: Lord Gradun is a middle aged Victonari Man. He has bright yellow scales all over his body and a crazy frill the goes from tip of his nose, over the top of his head and down his neck a way. He wears a vividly colorful overcoat that is a myriad of bright and neon colours and is adorned with a giant fur collar made from what would appear to be hell hound fur. ((Copper in colour.)), he always carries on his person a lute, his favourite musical instrument, though he is known to have others on his person. ((player's choice what other Instruments he likes.)). They are all in immaculate shape as if they were just made that day. His boots are just as ridiculous, being adorned in giant flashy buckles that clank when he walks along with the myriad of jewelry he wears in his frill and on other parts of his body. When he moves you hear an ensemble of clanking metals almost like a band playing a slightly disharmonious tune. Background: Lord Gradun has spent years as a traveling story telling learning from wherever he could, the local dances of the people. He was always excited to learn a new dance, a new way to move his body with grace, or power, or whatever emotion the dance wished to convey. It was his great passion. It led him all over the lands of Graterras as he picked up dances wherever he went. Not a lot is known about him other than he is the Self-proclaimed Lord of Dance and Song. Music is something he deos on the side, as one knows you got to pay the bills somehow. Noteworthy Abilities: ((the cool shit they can do.)) Molto Blasto: A harsh blast of sound. ((can be done with any instrument, though a horn or other brass instrument would probably be the most effective)). It harms all enemies ((and ALLIES unless they are warned and cover their ears.)) by bombarding their ear drums with noise. It leaves their ears ringing afterwards deafening them. If directly hit with the blast it also sends the foe flying backwards a few feet. Fervor Dance ((Flaming Tango)): Lord Gradun dances a frantic and powerful war dance. ((where he learned it, what it looks like, and how he convinced the locals to teach it to him is totally up to his player this goes with all his other dances as well.)). He whips into a frenzy afterwards making his attacks deadlier and faster. However he attacks with reckless abandon and loses the ability to cast any spells. He must remain in this state fro at least 3 in-game posts after using it, but after that can snap out at anytime. All Dances must be stated to be used by the player, and the next post of theirs it will take effect. Only One Dance can be active at a time. Fever Dance ((Mad Wave Dance)): Gradun dances a dance that leaves him in a feverish and sickly trance. It makes his physical attributes nearly useless ((such as blocking and attacking)) but increases his spell casting powers 2 fold. All of the effects of his spells are doubled. Can be snapped out of at anytime if not being directly attacked. Wind Waltz: Gradun dances to inspire his allies. They will have an easier time completing the next task they take on. ((what this entails is up to me, the Host. Each Party member will be given 1 Wind Waltz token, and they may expend it to help them on a task, how it helps them is totally up to me. Each player can only have 1 Wind Waltz token at a time and Gradun never acquires any.)) Earthen Eisa: A rather stiff none moving dance. Gradun is much harder to harm in this state however he can take no other actions will doing so. Spells: Gradun can cast up to 6 spells until a rest is taken. Magic Missile: Fires a small projectile at a foe in line of sight, deals 1 damage. Fever Dance increases the power by creating a second missile which can be aimed at another target or the same one. Magic Missile cannot miss and always deals 1 damage to it's target. Blinding Lights: Blinds foes for a few rounds of combat making it much harder for them to attack and block. Doesn't affect foes without eyes. Fever Dance makes the blind last longer. Tasha's Uncontrollable Laughter: Makes one foe cackle like a mad idiot and not be able to take any other action. That creature gets a chance to resist, which will be rolled against their set save score. ((this roll and score are only know to me the host.)). Fever Dance makes this spell affect 2 targets in one cast. ((player denotes both.)) Minor Illusion: Gradun can create a minor illusion that has visual elements ((no smells or noises.)). Fever Dance's affect is up to the player within reason. I will okay whatever they decide to do with the bonus. Auditory Glamour: Can create illusional auditory noises. ((can be cast to come from a an illusion.)). Voices can be made, but they can't sound exactly like a particular individual. Fever Dances effect is up to the player within reason. ((though an example could be making it sound exactly like a person.)) Set Equipment: 2 Rapiers, and 4 daggers. No armour. Lute. Player Choice Items: 2 Instruments of choice. must have existed in Renaissance time period in actual history. ((that is the time period about that Graterras is set in.)). Also the palyer may design as many other dances he knows as they wish. These dances don't have any powers like the 4 he has in the ability section. They are just for personal flare. Slairk ((Slay-ark)) the Nose. The Knife within Shadows. Race: Grumman's Kobold ((Mouse/Ratlike Humanoid.)) Gender: Male Class: Rogue ((Shadow or Assassin type Rogue.)) Age: 33 HP: 7 Appearance: A small snidely rat. He always looks greasy and slimy. Even his small moustache is curled up at the ends and held there by it. He wears a very worn old clothing, tightly fitted as to not move around when he does. Over top he wears a black cuirass of studded leather, complete with rusted old metal studs and wear at almost every angle. His gear is very unkempt and seems to be falling apart form every angle. One would wonder how half of it even functions, but Slairk doesn't seem to mind. His fur is a smokey grey, somewhere between black and Slate Grey. He has 2 beady yellow eyes. Background: Slairk was born in the Shadowed Isles, a land well known for it thieves. But Slairk didn't just like stealing from people, he enjoyed killing. He quickly learned the arts of trap making and assassination. He lived and worked for the assassin's guild in Nevermore for years. However, he tired of killing nobles and peasants that got on somebodies nerves, he wanted to do something else, use his skills to kill more interesting things than people. And so he went in search of more interesting prey. Well, it was more he was driven to do it since he murdered the head of the assassin's guild as a parting gift, but details aren't important are they? Noteworthy Abilities: Trap Master: Slairk is a master trap builder, and breaker. When building a trap, the player must describe how it works and what it does. When disabling a trap, the player gets 3 questions to the Host via pm to solve the puzzle. Then they act on their hunch. If they complete the steps correctly they disarm it. If they mess up, the trap activates at full or partial effect depending on how close they were. ((Slairk can inspect for traps as long as his Player asks in character, whether via thinking, or saying to another character to let him check.)) Backstab: If an enemy is engaged in combat with another Character, Slairk gets a backstab on that opponent, it deals extra damage. ((damage is explained later.)) Midnight Powder Egg: Slairk carries small glass capsules filled with Midnight powder. If being attacked Slairk can drop one causing it to crack. This releases the powder which causes the enemies around him to cough and not be able to see for their next action. This also happens to allies that are nearby as well. Set Equipment: 7 daggers ((man needs his spares. Can be thrown short distances as well.)), Studded Leather Armour ((1 Def, explained later.)). Trapper's kit ((stuff for making and breaking traps, if you can justify it, it is in there.)), 1 dose Mild ingestion poison((adsorbed via eating.)), 3 doses mild contact poison((adsorbed through the skin or...contact. This is the kind that goes on weapons.)), 2 doses of sleeping drought. ((puts an average size adult male asleep for about 5 hours. Must be ingested.)) Player Choices: Names for his poisons and detail how they are made. Can create herbs and items to use for it. ((for all 3.)) Roose Brightborn the Illuminator, The Lady with much to Prove. Race:Half-Elf Gender: Female Class: Paladin Age: 22 HP: 15 Appearance: Roose is a rather homely woman, she isn't visually striking in anyway other than her crystal blue eyes. She has rather typical straight auburn hair. She reflects this in her personal gear as well. All of her gear is rather unassuming and isn't adorned in any fancy adornments other than small blue highlights. She wears a worn splintmail, weathered from the fighting she has seen, each dent a story of another battle. Background: Roose was born into a noble family, the Brightborns. However, she wasn't born as an equal. She was the bastard child of one of her father's many affairs, this time with an elven hand servant. As such, her family was rather ashamed of her, and quickly sent her off to the Order of Bartimis, or the Paladin order to get her as far away from the family as possible. She kept her surname of Brightborn to remember where she came from. Noteworthy Abilities: Lay on Hands: Roose can take on the pain of others. She may take any amount of damage from one party member so long as she takes that damage upon herself. ((example, one party member has taken 3 damage. Roose can take up to the amount they are damaged by taking it from them unto herself.)) Purge the Vile: Roose can declare one enemy the scourge she shall cleanse from the world. All of her attacks against this foe ((can only be a single entity not a group like all Lizardmen, but could be a single Lizardman.)) deal extra damage. However, her attacks against other foes are much weaker while that one still lives. This ability can only be used once per encounter. Turn Undead: Roose can cause Undead to flee in terror from her. The host will roll against the Undead's Turn score to see how affected it is. It can range from fleeing in terror to being utterly destroyed depending on how powerful that undead is. Spells: Can cast up to 3 spells until a rest is taken. Light Heal: Heals a small of amount of health to one target, must make contact to the target ((touch them somehow.)) Bless: For a span of 5 rounds ((Roose taking 5 actions or making 5 posts after using this spell.)) the target of this spell gains +1 to the damage of its attacks. Only One blessing can be active at a time. Detect Evil: Roose can detect evil entities for a short amount of time. She can tell roughly were they are and will know of their presence as long as the spell is concentrated on. ((this means no other spells can be cast until the user stops focusing on it. The Player can specify at any time when they wish to stop.)) Hammer of Justice(( would be object of justice..., but that doesn't sound as cool.)): Roose imbues an item with divine power for 5 rounds. It attacks as if another person were holding it. If it lands an attack it deals 2 damage. Set Equipment: Longsword, Splintmail ((2 Defense.)) Player's Choice: Talisman of Bartimis, God of Life. Typical Examples are flat discs of Silver inscribed with Apples, or Trees. However the player may design Roose's talisman. Forlorn, The spear that travels with purpose. Race: Half Orc Gender: Male Class: Fighter Age: 29 HP: 14 Appearance: Forlorn is a giant hulking beast of a Half-Orc. He doesn't make an effort to hide this despite most not being fond of Half-Orcs. He has ruddy brown eyes, and greenish/grey skin. His left ear is partially bitten off, by what, only Forlorn and the 9 divines know. Forlorn dresses much like a savage, wearing mostly the hides of animals woven together into a sort of makeshift armour. His only hair is a top knot on his head, Oily black in colour. He is very much the image of power and savagery. Background: Forlorn was born to a Half-Orcish tribe. He was taught to be a powerful warrior by his masters. However... he sought more. He wanted to see the outside world away from the shamans and his tribesman. For awhile he worked for a noble family as a bodyguard, so he quickly learned etiquette and the customs of the outside world. He learned that people didn't see his in a good light as well. Forlorn was determined to change this and he set out to prove to the world that Half-Orcs were every bit as human as the other races. Noteworthy Abilities: Master of Arms: Forlorn can use any weapon to decent effect, even improvised armaments such as broken bottles and rocks. He doesn't need to use the weapon he starts with to fight at maximum efficiency. However, he is a master of using the Spear, and deals more damage when wielding them. Strength of Two Men: Forlorn has more strength than your average person and knows how to use it. He can move objects no other could by themselves. He can also bend bars like twigs and grapple super powerful foes and hold them down. War Path: Forlorn can make 1 Unblockable attack per combat. It should be noted by his player by having him scream a particular War Cry. ((up to the player, so long as I the Host know what it is.)) This attack need not only be used for damage. He can use it to save a party member from death. ((in this case he deals no damage, but stops the party member from dying by say, punching the beast swiftly in the chest sending it flying away.)) Set Equipment: 2 spears and 4 throwing Javelins. Player's Choice: Oohagan ((Oo- Hah-gan)) the Starry Eyed, the Wizard who dreams of the Future. Race: Human Gender: Male Class: Wizard ((slight skew towards divination, but is a generalist mage.)) Age: 63 HP: 6 Appearance: Oohagan is a wistful Old man. His has soft grey hair with mystical Purple eyes. His has a long trimmed beard as well as a well-trimmed mustache. He wears a robe of pure royal purple that looks much like his eyes. It sparkles quite strangely when it is struck by a strong light. He seems almost ethereal and he tends to act in a way that reinforces that. He carries a large and ancient tome, and seems to have no other focus for his spell than the tome. Most wizards tend to have focuses separate from their spellbook, but his seem to be one and the same. Background: Oohagan used to be a general magic studies teacher for the Wizard's guild of the White Rose. He was well known by his students for being almost unreal. He was an oddity to them as he seemed to almost be able to read people's thoughts. However, he never once cast a spell in class as he taught practical magic and not hands on magic. ((written courses that didn't involve actual spell casting, therefore the teacher had no reason to cast spells.)). Students also noticed his love for Divination magic, or the magic of information. He left the collage wishing to expand his practical knowledge of magic. Noteworthy Abilities: Only his Magic. Spells: Oohagen can cast up to 8 spells until he rests once again. Arcane Eye: Oohagan can cast his vision into a a small Orb. This orb can then move up to 100ft away from him. Through it he can see as if he was seeing with his own eyes((this means it can;t see in darkness, and if he looks upon something that has an attack for looking upon it, it works as if he looked on it with his own eyes.)) but that is the only sense he gets. He can use this spell as long as he concentrates on it. The Eye is invisible to all but Oohagan. Detect Magic: Oohagen can detect magic in a 30 feet radius as long as this spell is concentrated on. It works much like Roose's Detect Evil, but it detects any magical items or traps in the area. ((it doesn't show wizards, as they don;t exude magic all the time, but it could detect a spell going off.)) Melf's Acid Arrow: Oohagan summons an arrow made of solid acid from thin air. He can then fire it as if from a bow at one foe. ((this means it can be avoided.)) if it connects it deals 2 acid damage, and the next 2 turns the creature takes it deals 1 ore acid damage. Mage Armour: Oohagan can give defense by touch. This spell gives the target +1 defense making them take less damage from attacks if they are hit. This barrier is made of slid force and even incorporeal beings can't bypass it. Only one Mage armour can be active at a time. It ends at the end of combat. Burning Hands: Oohagan unleashes a gout of Flame to harm his foes. It deals 2 fire damage in a small area. It can lit flammable objects a flame. Jump: Oohagan can make a target jump triple the distance one time. Ghoul Touch: Oohagan paralyses a foe for 2 actions. He must make physical contact with that enemy. This attack then exudes a smell so horrid everyone within 10 feet ((immediate combat.)) other than Oohagan, becomes overwhelmed with nausea. This makes them deal 1 less damage on any attacks. Set Equipment: Wizard's Robes, Giant Tome ((serves as his weapon in melee, yes quite serious.)) Player's Choice: Oddities. Some strange doodads Oohagan happens to be carrying on his person. They can't have any useful functions. Evys ((Viz)) the Stormcaller, The Mistress of the elements. Race: Elf Gender: Female Class: Invoker ((Sorceress)) Age: 281 ((young for an Elf, around the late 20's early 30's in human years.)) HP: 8 Appearance: Evys has silvery white hair and deep amber coloured eyes. She wears rather simple robes, sky blue in colour, with a touch of earth tones scattered about. She has a lithe form much like many elves. She is in good shape if not a bit on the thin side. She looks well worn and travel weary. She wields an oaken staff, a long and knotted piece. It looks as if it was a small tree that was felled much before its time Background: Evys is a lone wanderer and always has been. It wasn't that she didn't care for people, but that she couldn't remember anything of her past. The first thing she ever recalls is waking in the middle of a forest without any knowledge how she got there, or why she was there. The only thing she remembered, how to use elemental magic. She could talk with the spirits of the elements and ask for their guidance and help. THus, she went off in search of her past. Noteworthy Abilities: Evys only has her spells. Spells: Evys can cast 6 spells before a rest. Fireball: Evys converses with the spirits of Fire to summon a great fireball. This spell shoots forth a flaming ball that explodes on impact with a target or the ground. The radius of the explosion is 10 feet, and any cuaght inside ((including allies)) are harmed. They take 6 Fire damage. Lightning Bolt: Evys calls upon the spirits of Lightning to send a stroke of lightning crashing down upon one target. It deals 4 Lightning damage. Gust of Wind: Evys calls upon the spirits of the wind to blow a mighty gale. Anything caught in this gale is battered by the heavy gust and is affected according to their size. Small enemies are blown away in the wind and sent flying. normal sized creatures ((about the size of a man.)) are knocked to the ground and can't get up while the winds last. Larger Creatures have trouble moving, and must fight to stay standing. Anything larger is unaffected. Gust of WInd lasts until Evys takes 2 more actions. Shatter: Evys calls upon the Spirits of Earth to vibrate a single object to utterly destroy it. The player must point out which object they wish to destroy. ((the biggest thing possible would be a one-handed weapon, everything else is much too big.)). This can also be used on Creatures made from Crystal or similar brittle substance dealing 4 damage to them. Flame Shield: Evys calls upon the spirits of fire to summon a shield of pure flame or can call upon the spirits of water to make one out of cold fire. Both versions are below. - Warm Shield: If an enemy attacks Evys in melee, they take 3 fire damage. Evys takes half damage from Cold-based attacks. The flames are Violet in colour. - Cold Shield: Enemies take 3 Cold damage is they attack Evys. Evys takes half damage from Fire based attacks. The flames are a Cobalt Blue in colour. Set Equipment: Robes, Oak Staff ((not a focus for spell casting, it is a simple weapon to defend herself with.)) Player's Choice: Evys has an item that once belonged to her mother. It is the one thing she has remaining of the past life she cannot remember. What is it? ((once again, it can't have practical functions.)) Mentheim, The Servant of Mortimo, God of Death and Time. Race: Dwarf Gender: Male Class: Cleric. ((Death and Time)) Age: 375 HP: 11 Appearance: A short and stout Dwarf. He has murderous red eyes along with sickly looking grey hair. He has a wildly braided beard that goes down to his gut. He gives off a rather unnerving air. He wears the dark robes of Mortimo's order, adorned with the symbol of the god, an hourglass in a skeletal hand. He carries a wicked sickle, one of the types of weapon the followers of Mortimo used. Background: Mentheim was always fascinated by death. Therefore his path in life was rather set. He quickly became a priest of Mortimo the God of Death himself. He spent many years working in a small temple in one of the bigger villages in the Shadowed Isles. However, many reports came in that one of the priests was murdering innocent people. They could never pin it on Mentheim, and it wasn't even known if he truly did it, but he left to avoid the public eye of those he knew. Did he kill those people? Only Mentheim and the Divines truly know. Noteworthy Abilities: Spectral Hand: Mortimo gives his servants the ability to summon a spectral hand. This hand can use Mentheim's Touch spells as if it were him. He must spend 2 health to summon the hand. The Hand has 2 health itself, but can only be hit by magical attacks. Spells: Mentheim can cast 4 spells before a rest is needed. Cause Minor Wounds: Mentheim can cause pain with a touch. He deals 2 damage to a foe when casting this spell. Animate Dead: Mentheim can summon a skeleton from the remains of a foe to fight for him. He can only have 1 at a time. Cause Major wounds: Like above, but deals 5 damage, it takes 2 spell casts to use. Set Equipment: Robes of Mortimo, Sickle. Player's Choice: Mentheim's unholy symbol may be designed by the player. Typical examples of Mortimo's unholy symbol tend to be skull or other skeletal features with an eerie hourglass. They tend to be made from actual bone or from Obsidian. However, the design is completely up to the player. Ivar Whistlewind, The Servant of Lady Aelia, Goddess of Wind and Mind. Race: Human Gender: Male Class: Cleric ((Wind and Mind)) Age: 37 HP: 9 Appearance: Ivar is a powerfully built man from Aurora. He wears the royal blue robes of Aelia's priesthood adorned with her mighty holy symbol a warhorn blasting its cry. He has wild blond hair with a beard that matches. He has kind green eyes. He is a true trough and trough Aurorian built like the sailors of old. He also wears a light curiass over top his robe, made of a light metal to provide some protection in combat. Background: Ivar is a simple brother of Aelia's order. He never really cared much for riches or physical things, the service for the Lady of the Wind was enough for him. However, when the rumors started around town the something was to befall his beloved Winter's Bite, he simply couldn't stand by. Noteworthy Abilities: Warhorn: Ivar blasts his warhorn to inspire himself, this increases the damage of his melee attacks by 2 for 5 actions after this one. Call Lightning: Aelia grants her followers the ability to call forth a stroke of lightning from the sky twice a day. ((can be used 2 times until a rest.)). If outside it calls down a lightning bolt to smite a single foe. This deals 4 lightning damage. Spells: Ivar can cast 2 spells a day until a rest is needed. Telepathic Bond: Ivar can forge a link to another intelligent creature's mind. (( it must be willing to allow it. Otherwsie it fizzles the spell.)) He can than converse telepathically with that being ((regardless of language.)) until he severs the link. He can only maintain 1 link at a time. Chain Lightning: Sends a bolt of lightning arcing trough nearby targets. The first target hit takes 6 damage, and then it arcs between other targets nearby ((including allies.)) this bolt deals 3, the next deals 2 and the last one deals 1 and then the spell fizzles. Cure Light wounds. Heals a party member by 4 hp. Set Equipment: Warhammer, Warhorn, Battlerobe ((1 defense)) Player's Choice: Holy Symbol of Aelia. Typically a Warhorn, usually made from Ivory. However the palyer may design Ivar's Holy Symbol. Every character has 1 Adventurer's Kit. ((this item has 4 charges. A player can use one charge to pull out one mundane item whenever they wish. Rope, simple tools, empty vials etc are good examples.)) Combat In this RP we will use a light combat system. How damage works. Warriors deal 3 with their melee attacks. ((Forlorn deals 4 as long as he is using his spears.)) Rogues and Priests deal 2 ((Slairk deals 3 if he can get off a backstab.)) and Wizards deal 1. Defense blocks that many points of damage dealt. These are the severity of damage the attacks deal, and these numbers are more for me as the Host then really for you guys. I will be using them silently to judge how much damage an attack deals to an enemy or a party member. Most of these numbers will be under the hood stuff done by me because in real life you don;t have a health bar. Damage to the PCs will be indicated via me describing the damage and not by me giving a number ((Like say Forlorn takes 5 points of damage, I won;t say he took 5 points of damage, I will describe what the attack does to him. The palyer's than have to judge how much damage that did. For Roose you can tell me in an OOC quote the highest amount you are willing to take with Lay on Hands though.)) K_H
Mighty Hukuna, the RNG hath chosen well. Ivar is the one that i would've picked as my Third Choice, with Forlorn being my second. on a separate note, Ivar is similar in some regards to the Original Idea that I had for my character in the Main RP. This doth bode well for our merry band of misfits. Edited January 20, 2015 by K_H

Raindrop Valkyrie
Oohagan is sorta a Dumbledore-esque character at least when I was writing him. ((you can do whatever you want with him though, but I had basic character clues or over-aching themes I worked into each to give you a clue on where to start and then I would leave it up to the players.)). In my head he was very much that mysterious guy that you knew was on your side, but wasn't telling you everything, like he just knew something, but wouldn't tell anybody. All the characters have a few context clues, but nothing pushes you in a direction with them, it more or less guides you or gives you something to hook onto and push your own way. Like with Roose, I left that backstory that she was the product of an affair and yet she kept the surname of that family. Why? I said something generic that she wanted remember where she came from, but you could want to remember that for different reasons. Maybe Roose is an optimistic person and wishes to use that to show herself how far she came from those days, Maybe she keeps it as a reminder of the life she was robbed of, the luxury she could have had, the one not sown with fighting and bleeding and working to make a living. Maybe she keeps it to spite them and maybe have her Name be more important than theirs one day. All possible options, and there are probably many more. You can take these characters many places personality wise and really customize them to your wants still, I just gave you a skeleton a foundation on which to paint your character fully. You get to add the detail. So, go hog wild folks. (( jsut make sure I have some of an idea, it is helpful to know some about your characters for me as the host.)). AuthorReborn
AND DOTH THE RANDOMNESS SPEAKS, IT DESCRIBES UNTO THE MASSES IT'S GREAT WISDOM. Time to SPEAR ALL THE THINGS! I'm going to get to work on designing this guy. On a side note, I'd be interesting in exploring the Half-Orc/Other races dynamic so I'll probably pm you sometime in the next day.
Yash
Well Oohagan-dore is gonna be fun.. I think I'll try and play him as I would have wanted DDore to be.. Could you explain the part about him teaching practical magic and not hands-on magic.. I didn't really get that all too clearly..
Raindrop Valkyrie
He more or less taught magic on paper without using the casting of a spell. Essentially, he taught the part of magic to defend oneself from the dangers of using itself, what not to do etc... ((think if in Harry Potter, in the Defense Against the Dark Arts, if they didn't do any of the parts with actual casting.)) He also taught minor spells, mostly stuff every Wizard needed to know, but it was simple stuff. Oohagan mostly taught novices that didn't have control over their magic, or those that had 0 experience. Basically, the primer to magic. ((this is my way of explaining why he is rather weaker of a Magician. He has a midn for magic, and he understands it, he just never honed his craft entirely. He can cast spells, but never was a super powerful wizard himself, and for awhile he was content with that, but now something changed his mind. What did that and what drives him to travel, that is entirely up to you.))

Raindrop Valkyrie
Actually yea, sorry has been awhile since I read the series lol. Though it was a little more useful than that. Mostly because Oohagan taught people who knew bugger all about magic. She((whatever that woman's name was.)) was teaching people who had been learning for like a few years lol. Code: PIRULUK
FYI Since I'm typing from a phone, most of my responses will be short and erratic QQ Also for Roose I'm going in a very different direction than I normally go for my female characters. We shall see where this leads :x
