Stalkerkain
Thank you for all your input! However, I am going to ignore all of you, as I already chose Torchic (hah). How is using Froakie any more useful than using either of the other starters when it comes to familiarizing oneself with gen 6? It's just one Pokemon. This. Seehan
greninja is overhyped honestly, it's great in competitive because of its deep movepool, which is unavailable in Reborn due to lack of good TMs and Tutors. The strongest starter by FAR is Torchic for playthroughs, so you defs made the right choice ^__^
Lostelle
Infernape is a really good choice as well. I guess overall Fire / Fighting have the overall advantage. (except emboar hehehe)
Dhanush D Bhatt
Thank you for all your input! However, I am going to ignore all of you, as I already chose Torchic (hah). Wonderful choice Both froakie and fennekin are really good choices. Greninja is really great near end game when we have the better TMs. Delphox has good coverage and is really helpful in several rival battles and gym battles. But personally i would choose froakie simply for Protean. it can be used both offensively and defensively to a great extent.
