Letskillup
After finally managing to breed a decent Riolu I realized that Reborn is the first pokemon game where I actually bothered to gather a variety of pokemon and train them for a playthrough, when for others I would probably catch 6/7 tops, not even bothering to get a decent nature, and stomp everything in my way. Right now i have 17 combat ready pokemons, 3 that are on hold until i get decent TM's and planing to get a few more when they become available. With that said how many do you have? Xiri
I only go for 6. I don't use rotations because I don't really find them necessary
Damiano
My main crew of fighting and dark types rolls thirteen deep, but in total I have twenty-eight pokemon ready to jump in also on level. The others I'm leveling between eps at the grand hall.
Another Felix
My current pokemon team is all in my signature, including rotations. Granted, it's not good.
Qaaz
Right now 13 Ready for Combat (main 6 + one back up team and 1 more) and I'm preparing 5 more... Plan for 1-2 full box of back up
Infel
I've got my main 6 and then a few other combat ready pokes, but the only time I've used them was for Charlotte, who just ruined my life. So I trained up a Vaporeon and Bronzong just for her, and swapped out my steel types (at the time i was using Excadrill and Empoleon) for some space fillers, like a trick room Gengar to support Bronzong. Otherwise, I just don't use rotations. [shrug] There's a few I've been considering adding to a rotation, but I'm just not one for that. Gaunt
My main 6 plus 2 reserves (not that i ever use them)
Jaromir
My squad is in my signature. I started using a rotation method when my main team couldn't handle the old Serra.
sandy
I only go for 6. I don't use rotations because I don't really find them necessary done that with my second play through as thats how i normaly play pokemon games but in my main file i have a team of 12-14 Edited January 21, 2015 by sandy
LittleDevilex
The team in my signature + 12 more.
Zane0144
On my main team, just 6. Sure when I catch something I like I'll use it, but something else will be dropped. I'm confident in my team core to take any challenge. However on my special runs it is different. Like my mono bug run I have about...10-11 pokes battle ready. And I don't even have my scizor, volcarona, or mega pinsir yet.
Follow
In my main file I just have 6, you don't need more if you can create a team that won't have trouble with a specific type. In my "all types" save file I have 12.
netbean
Still early in the game, but i think from the current obtainable pokemons (that is, ep 14) i will go with a list of 20. I like having two specialists (one physical and the other special) for every type. If its a hybrid than he could be a specialist of both those types. spark95
20 as of now. Currently in the process of EV and level training another box full, because why not. I expect that I'll have a choice of 40~50 once I'm done.
Qaaz
Also IF we get a online battle acces those will be useful
Bessi
i would say 9 pokes is my team(or the ones that i used most of the time).infernape, magnezone, gyarados, gardevoir, nidoking and exploud are my 6 poke-team.other pokes i used are kricketune(for cut) was an early game good pokemon, raticate very usefut in the first gyms(destroyed shade) and lastly arbok:all battles like lv 45 klingklang, the pangoros and many gym battles he was vey useful due to the combination of intimidate,Glare, acid spray and belch(worked without a berry at the time).i managed to beat most of the gym battles with the glare-acid spray-belch/sludge wave combo and a decisive blow from another poke when arbok was defeated. After Samson i dropped it for my nidoking which did very well(vs terra the field effect benefited nidoking since his atk>sp attack).I still use arbok to catch wild pokemon(glare paralyze).I never have been a fan of big teams and i did rely on my 6 team to beat a gym,not a certain pokemon useful only for one gym.there are exceptions like my kricketune and raticate that can shine until a part of the game and cant keep up with the others in the next part. laggless01
I had a team of only 6 when finishing the previous episode, but trained a metagross to deal with future ice-types on the ice field (bullet punch did really well). Now I have trained 2-3 extra special attackers for if I had to battle underwater. So that makes 9 poke's so far.I'm amidst of replacing my old team for properly EV'd ones with near perfect IV's, however.
mashonem
Battle ready Pokemon that can actually hold their own in the latest episode: 8 Including Pokemon that are only a few levels off before being battle ready: 11 Including Pokemon that I used at some point but have neglected to train for a number of episodes/Pokemon that I'm currently training due to recently becoming available:
Lostelle
I've only got 6, and none of them have great IV's barring my Sharpedo from Team Aqua because when I started my save file I didn't want to have to battle to see my nature hehe.. Damage
I never roll with more than 6 at a time, save emolga since that's such a savior in this game. Usually I plan out what team I'm going to have throughout the playthrough starting with the starter and the number 2 needed teamate. Then well make miracles happen. Etesian
My current run is the only one which has more than 6 Pokemon. I have a rotation of 2 Pokemon because I just can't decide which Grass type I like better, so I just use them both
Damage
Just guessing here but I feel like you're gonna side with Leavanny.
NickCrash
Usually between episodes I try to EV train my pokemon and take them near the level cap. Sometimes I just leave some pokemon in the middle of their training and sadly forget them. Currently I have 18 pokemon up to full strength will almost done EV training There is a box full of pokemon in line to be trained, so this number will rise when the exam period is over.
