Your least and favourite mega evolution?

Making this topic just i'm bored and i want to see opinions.

I also want to see your reasons why you like/dislike the mega evolution.

Mine.

Favorite: Mega Venusaur.

Manly because of the online battles. That thing have helped me several times when i was in danger in online battles.

And love that ability. And that sleep powder and leech seed. As for design, meh imo.

Least favourite: Mega Kangaskhan.

Still just for the oniline battles. The time i had online battles, mega kangaskhan was like everywhere.

I hated everytime when the opponent used Mega Kangaskhan. That pokemon is broken.

But sometimes, i won against Mega Kangaskhan.

Most of the time was because of Dusknoir(which became one of my favourite since).

Favourite: Absol and Gardevoir.

Absol because of the design; it looks really cool and it also has good offensive stats. Too bad its defenses are subpar.

Gardevoir, because of the competitive battles. I always use her shiny, with a set gender (female). It can hit really hard with Hyper Voice, but can also be used as a support Pokemon with Wish or Heal Bell. I had a Gardevoir in Pokemon Zeta with the mega Stone and it was my best team member.

Least favourite: Venusaur.

This is because of competitive battles, but also because of that last battle in Pokemon Zeta, where I had to PP stall Red's mega Venusaur because it wouldn't go down. It was a sleep powder and synthesis continuous spam. And another thing, why give it great defenses, great attacking stats and cancel two of its weaknesses?

Well, at least it's vulnerable to birdspam or psychic-type moves.

Favourite: Mega Venusaur, Mega Slowbro and Mega Pidgeot. Mega Venusaur because I love Venusaur like I love pretty much no other Pokemon, and he finally got top tier now. Mega Slowbro: I always thought he was way more awesome than Slowking, and now it has been proven: Slowbro mega evos, Slowking doesn't. Mega Pidgeot because I've always had a soft spot for Pidgeot, and now he's actually usable too.

Least favourite: Mega Abomasnow and Mega Lucario. Lucario is just canon. Everyone at Gamefreak loves Lucario, so why not give him one of the strongest mega evos of all? Mega Abomasnow because Abomasnow sucks and doesn't deserve a mega.

Doesn't dusknoir die after a couple parental bond sucker punches from mega kanga? Well I guess he can burn kangashkan before that so yeah dusknoir is good (get your bulky-ass ghost/dark mega already dusknoir!!!)

If I made this about how I see them in competitive, they all would be in favourite when I use them, and in least favourite when my opponent uses XD, so better stick to how I like them in terms of importance or design or whatever.

Favorite in terms of "neededness": Tie between Mega Audino & Mega Beedrill

Yeah I know what you're thinking, and I'm very well aware no one in the whole world likes audino. But I love this little thing and the fact that it got a mega before a lot of other huge fan favorites (flygon, milotic, weavile, etc.) it just blows me away...while most people get pissed because "that useless thing" got a mega before their favourites, I'm just here enjoying the fact they showed at gamefreak a little love for one of the mons no one seems to ever expect anything from. Plus I love the design and the fairy type added (just in top of everything else just to piss more people off it seems XD). Audino looks like a white mage or a kyubey, and I love both things. Beedrill on the other hand, is mostly a useless mon in the games, not to mention competitive. But then again, when the most "useless" are shown some love, they get some of the best megas in terms of design and neededness IMO. I should have to count mega pidgeot here too but I don't really care about pidgeot (sorry jesus bird).

Favorite in terms of design: Mega Banette

A ghost-doll with zippers all over the body and when the zippers open, they reveal a red, hellish body comming from inside, the true face of the demon. I just wish I could see banette's real face under the doll skin, I'm sure it shall be the most terryfing face ever. I think this mega above the rest, is the best case of taking the original design and improving it just the exact perfect amount not to make it too overwhelming/over-designed (looks at mega pinsir/gyarados/heracross) or just too simple/not too fitting to the original (mega glalie/slowbro/salamence/scizor) for my eyes.

Least Favourite: None really, since I'm not talking competitively-wise. I guess... Mega Pinsir, maybe? I like the idea but the design is scary in a bad way, plus over-designed for no reason. Mega metagross just has more arms and a different color as well, but meh I still like'em.

I love also the gardevoir's mega evolution. Eh true of the defense.

I see what you mean. Venusaur got pretty buffed up with mega stone, maybe too much. Yeah, had so much problems when it comse with flying and psychic.

My least favorite Mega would be probably a tie between Mega Manectric and Mega Abomasnow. Abomasnow mostly because I feel that even with a mega, no one will ever use it. Manectric, on the other hand, looks so friggin' STUPID. Those huge spikes just look completely ridiculous on him, and it just sorta bugs me whenever I look at him. There are probably some others, but I can't think of them right now.

Favorite Mega is Swampert. THOSE STATS THOUGH ASDFGHJKL; The only thing holding him back for me is a really stupid design and needing rain support, but it doesn't bug me all that much for some reason. Mega Kangaskhan is a close second, but not quite because I always felt guilty when I used her because of how broken she is. Eventually I just gave up.

I didn't have that much experience with mega evolutions since I don't play official pokemon games. I played mega gardevoir on pokemon omicron though and damn she looks awesome. Her sp. Att / sp Def stats are pretty high too, which makes her reliable as a tank ( against non physical attackers ) that deals damage. I can see the use of such a pokemon on competitive play.

My picture tells a lot, I guess. I love gardevoir since the day I laid eyes on her. Love her design and all.

I don't have a least favourite mega evolution though. I think I'll be able to tell more once I gather the courage to purchase a 3DS. I'm such a lazy buddy it's not even funny gah...

Mega-Gallade

That guy was always one of my favorites, so him getting a mega was absolutely awesome! If he got a better ability, that would be nice too.

Mega Aggron

His whole design screams "come at me bro" and that's what it does. Sponge hits, laugh at super effective ones, and kill with his sheer force of weight

Least favorite (aka hated megas)

Mega Rayquaza

That thing made a new tier and gave OP a whole new meaning. Gamefreak went over the top. Not even the design is that good

It got too much rock on it. Let's grow spikes all over its body and give it a massive rock goatee. Yeh, that'll work.

They made it able to resist some hits and hit back with awesome attack and speed, but in my opinion were cutting corners with the design.

Never had the chance to use a mega pokemon, so I will pick them based on look/my liking/making sense.

My favorite would be mega Umbreon Absol, because... it has WINGS! and a nice haircut!

And my least favorite would be mega Mewtwo x, because I just cant see mewtwo as a physical pokemon.

My favorite Mega-Evolution has to be Mega-Gardevoir. I´m a sucker for Psychic-Types and I love feminime creatures in pretty dresses, not to mention the bulk in the special defense and dat special offense. It had pretty much anything I would´ve wanted from a Mega-Gardevoir.

But I also like Mega-Ampharos. Maybe others dislike it, but Ampha is one of my favorite Pokémon and I´m happy it got a Mega, making it more useful and giving it Super Saiyan hair.

Least favorite? Dunno...

(PREPARE FOR AMATEUR IN BITCH-MODE AND SOME RANTS)

I HATE Mega-Garchomp, because Garchomp was very strong already and its base-form is as useful as the mega or even more useful due to that troll-like base speed. The design looks absolutely ridiculous. Base Garchomp looked manly. It looked BADASS. Mega-Garchomp looks a bit stupid and over-the-top. The mega-form needs some support to be more useful (Tailwind for speed ect.) making it more viable in doubles or triples, but regular Garchomp is so badass it can wreck face on its own. A mega wasn´t really needed.

I also disliked all that Mega-Charizard hype and the fact that it has two megas which get used (and then fainted by me) so often. I´m in camp Blastoise and partly with Venusaur here. Charizard is cool and all and I like it, but I like the other two as well and if Charizard gets two Megas, the other two Kanto-Starters should get other variations too (Make offensive or defensive variations for Blastoise for example, there is some nice stuff they could do with the 100BST they can spread. Make one offensive and specially defensive and the other with more HP and more defense).

I also dislike some Megas simply because certain Pokémon just didn´t need a Mega to begin with. They should be used on RU and NU Pokémon like Gardevoir, Beedrill to bring them back into competitive play or make rarely used Pokémon used more often to add some variety to the teams players use. They overdid it a little on Mega-Kangaskahn, but I like the design and if it wasn´t that powerful, I´d be happy that it was brought back into competitive play. Mega-Lucario is based on popularity, as Lucario was already quite useful to begin with and wouldn´t really need a Mega. I would´ve given a Mega-Evolution to Machamp, as Alakazam and Gengar got one and I think that´s a bit unfair for good old Machamp. Give it six arms and base it on Asura, the six-armed hindu god and make it look more kick-ass. (Not the guy from asura´s wrath, but that´d be cool too).

Mega-Salamence´s design is a mixture of bless and suck, as I really love those giant batwings but I hate those puny legs. I know, its supposed to be streamlined so it can go fast, but I still don´t like dem legs. Salamence is my favority dragon-type, so I can´t really say I hate it. But I wish it looked a bit more intimidating. But then again, Salamence didn´t really need a Mega-Evolution. I´m still happy, but that doesn´t change the fact that it didn´t really need one with Moxie and Dragon Dance making it one deadly sweeper.

Mega Rayquaza

So OP, it gets banned from Ubers. Legendaries should be OP and strong, but you gotta put a limit somewhere. I dig the over-the-top badass design, but I think making its stats that good AND giving it Delta Stream was a bad idea. Either awesome stats or Delta Stream, but not both.

Mega-Mewtwo for similiar reasons, but not that much. It´s a freaking legendary and it gets a Mega? Mewtwo´s base is already in Ubers, its stats are already very good and you want to make it more powerful? It´s awesome and I like it, but it wasn´t really needed. Mewtwo Y looks very similiar to Mew, which I like, because that´s where it originated from. Mewtwo X looks weird and I just don´t like the design a lot.

Where is Primal Arceus? Ban it from competitive paly for all I care so people can only use it offline, I just want "God" to be more powerful than all the others because its a god. Give it 150 BST everywhere and make the ability Protean, then ban it from online-play if you don´t fight any friends to smack those who want to use it because they can´t win otherwise across the face.

TL,DR:

Well... on my personal opinion they should give less used and/or weaker Pokémon like Machamp or Flygon Mega-Evolutions, not make already powerful Pokémon even more powerful while leaving those with potential in the dust. That just rustles my jimmies a little.

Can't really come up with a least favorite, and since Mega Milotic doesn't exist (yet) I can't have a favorite either. But lemme just make it clear that calling Mega Audino a "waste of a Mega Evolution" will not be tolerated. She's half the reason I was able to beat the Battle Maison's Multi Battle in ORAS but not XY. (The other half of the reason was Contrary Serperior)
