"Huh, that doesn't look a lick of good. Might as well stick around make sure the general is a distracted." Emberly thought to herself. She didn't move much. She planted the tip of her twohander into the ground and leaned on it. "Hopefully old Knighty here has bad eyes... or something... and Nemir gets back quickly. If People are in trouble, I don't want to waste any more time then we have to."

“Good! Good! I can see potential in all of you. We’re pretty short-handed on sword wielders so this might help things out,” spoke Heizen. He was still oblivious to the smoke coming from the town. He then turned to Holland who asked about his equipment. “This here is Silver Armor. It tends to be rare so blacksmith’s spend time carefully engraving it to the wearer’s perfection. As for my weapon,” He withdrew a Silver Greatlance that hardly looked like it’d been scratched. There was also a black ring just below the tip of the spear. “You won’t find weapons like these in shops as they are custom made. They cost a fortune and only the elite of the elite would they even be willing to make one for.”

Meanwhile, Kelsey was now frozen glaring at the town. It just a mere few seconds the town was completely ablaze. It didn’t even look like a single building was missed. She didn’t even realize Zach had now disappeared from her side. Never in a million years would she imagine something like this happening to her hometown.

While Heizen was focused on speaking to Holland, he was oblivious that he had turned his back on the “pirate." The tall fire haired girl also blocked his view on the thief. Zach wasn’t too far away and if they hurried they could catch up to him.

Knowing he wouldn't get another chance, Nemir took off after Zach. Arriving at his side, he asked "You know this town well, right? Is there anywhere that would be targeted for an attack? I don't think this happened by chance."

Yuri looked back o what was once a simple smoke to a blazing town. 'Shit, those people might need help. I've gotta do something' He thought to himself as he saw two people already running off. Not missing his chance to get there ASAP, he ran off towards Zach and Nemir. Once he got to them he spoke, "Hope you don't mind if I cut in on your fun. Let's hurry, those people won't save themselves ya know."

Holland saw his team running to the village, now ablaze like many before it in various attacks. "Aye stop! You can't run in there! You'll get yourselves killed in there!" Holland shook his head and ran after them. These two had no idea what they were getting into. The onishians showed no mercy, and it would be dangerous to play with fire. Holland continued on, breathing heavily the whole way.

"Hold on!" Heizen pulled out his lance blocking the man from going any further. "You'd be commuting suicide trying to go out there with a weapon like that." He looked at the town now caught on fire. "Virgil's down there so he should be able to take care of the problem. I've heard stories that the man has taken down armies single handily. As for those three, we'll have to pray for their safety."

"Sir!" A knight wearing typical steel armor rushed to the group on horseback. "I have grave news! Some of Zagan's forces broke away from the main force and are headed this way."

Heizen was alarmed by this news. "How much time do we have? And what of reinforcements?"

"Aye, your tactician caught on with their plan so some elites should be here soon, but not soon enough. The enemy was just passed the hills last I saw them," responded the soldier.

"Damn!" Heizen quickly untied his horse looking and mounted himself back on it before looking at the group. "All of you stay here until I get back! These men are way beyond any of your capabilities. That is an order!" And with that, he and the other soldier quickly rode off toward the town.

"No, it certainly wasn't," responded Zach seeing the city engulfed in flames. "As for where to look, it looked like the smoke started in the square right outside the church. It might be a good idea to head there first." The trio quickly were in reach of the city when they saw the entrance swarmed by dead men. All that remain was a lone man standing on the bridge standing guard. He just finished impaling one last Swordmaster as the three stepped on the bridge.

"What the hell do you three think you're doing? This is a goddam warzone, not some little social gathering." Virgil's voice was still as angry as usual. "I don't have time to deal with you now. See if you can find any survivors or something. I'll hold the big ones off for as long as I can." Virgil put away his sword and this time brought out a steel poleaxe. "Been a while since this beauty has seen blood."

"You heard the man, lets search the church for survivors first." Yuri Stated as his knife was gripped in his right hand. He turned to Zach, "Lead the way there and fast because I personally don't want to deal with the horde of soldiers that's coming and you seem to know how to get there."

"General Zagan! I haven't seen him since--" Holland stopped himself. "Ermm hmph. If the general is leading the raid himself this area must be of huge importance to those onishians. Hahaha! Time to put them in their place and hold em back." Holland looked at his axe. Despite all of its rust it still gleamed. "This could be fun" Holland whispered under his breath.

"As I thought, it was nothing for me to worry about anyway... at least not for now. I should just sit down here and be ready to head out if needed, it's not like we can do much else right now anyway." Lucia thought to herself as she put the her weapon away on her belt before she sat down in the dirt, drawing swords and other weapons in the dust.

After seeing the trio run off she couldn't help but want to follow, though she knew she couldn't do too much with her current equipment. After thinking about the few embarrassing moments and wanting to spar with anything, she let out a sigh. She realized that Kelsey might be frightened by what was happening, so she sprang up with energy and rushed over to her. "Kelsey, are you alright?" Lucia asked the obvious question. "Listen, everything will be fine. What's done is done but I'm sure the army can take care of this mess. We're safe here for now, but you can talk to me if need be." Lucia spoke in a friendly but serious manner. She didn't want Kelsey to think that she didn't care about the people that were hurt already, or even dead, but she wanted to try and comfort her about what was going on to her home town.

"I knew something was off." Komorrin had thought to himself. As much as he wanted to head over to the burning town, he knew that there was a good chance that he would run into some of their forces if he tried. He would most definitely be outnumbered if he went alone. Seeing as the only better option was to stay put, Komorrin had started to look in every direction in case of an ambush. "Keep an eye out, everyone." The mage said out loud. "We only know of the troops at that town and the ones that Heizen went after. That doesn't mean that there aren't others as well."

"Just keep you eyes peeled, and everyone, on me." Emberly said, she picked her blade out the ground and placed it over her shoulder. "There is most certainly troops about, If you see anything holler. We got a serious disadvantage if any spearman come after us. so Mage, we need your aim to be on point. Kelsey, stay with me and make sure anybody that gets hit stays up if it comes to that."

Emberly had been in this kind of a situation before, and has lead troops. she had to make sure everyone kept a levelhead and didn't panic. She wanted to be in the middle of the action where she could help most, but with this crew of recruits... she wasn't sure how capable they were. She was extremely worried about Yuri as well, but she had to push it from her mind. If the others saw she was full of worry, they wouldn't exactly be filled with hope. How could one be ready to fight if the one leading them was showing doubt and worry? The answer is it was impossible. So she had to hope Yuri would do fine on his own with the others that went with him.

RubyHeart and Hukuna/Training Group?

"How...how could you people do this?" Kelsey was heartbroken. All those people dead...all because she didn't listen to Zach. Even Lucia's words didn't help at all. If only she were down there right now. Maybe her powers could save one, two, maybe even a dozen lives. Once Drake had given her orders she quickly walked up to her. "I'm sorry, ma'am, but I can't obey those orders." She quickly turned and made her way toward the city. It didn't matter whether or not she died. She was tired of hearing the stories of people dying day after day and being so helpless.

"Your not going anywhere without me and the others. If you are going to town, we are also going. We are a unit and we need to stick together. Because if you go by yourself, you are dead, and you aren't saving anybody." Emberly said as she grabbed the girl's arm. Emberly was probably of the strength that Kelsey couldn't fight her off, but she wasn't grabbing her in such a way that she couldn't get away if she wanted to. Emberly was more concerned about her safety now. Kelsey, by the look on her face now and the previous interactions with her. was one of those people. She didn't want people to die. And while that was all fine and noble... it lead to problems in cohesive units. But, Emberly knew she wouldn't be swayed. "We all go if you go. I am not letting a medic wander into a warzone on their own. Everyone form up on me, we have a change of plans. Mage!" she yelled trying to remember his name. "Komorrin I believe your name was, keep your eyes peeled, you see anything let the group know." Emberly shouted to him. "Lucia, you stay with Kelsey, make sure nothing gets to her, your her Guardian angel and you better make sure no harm comes to her." she barked to the girl with the rapier.

"Holland, you bring up the rear big boy! You see Lances you crush them, got it?"

"Everyone else on me! LET'S MOVE PEOPLE!!!" Emberly shouted, she was ready to lead the charge.

Komorrin stopped looking around for a second to reply to Drake. "Understood. If I see anyone, you'll be the first to know." He went back to scanning the area, ready to move then everyone else was.

"I've got it!" Holland shouted to Emberly covering the backs of his unit. Holland didn't want to say it out loud as he would sound selfish and emotionless, but he was glad this happened. He would now be able to show the Onishians why they shouldn't have messed with him and his family. Holland gripped his axe tighter. "Just you wait Zagan, I'm taking you down one way or another."

Sword in hand, Nemir followed a bit behind the thief and archer. He felt kind of bad leaving Virgil to deal with the onslaught, but finding survivors was more important than anything else just then.

Team Zach (Exlink and Dragonmasterkrim)

The archer heard the other two behind him while making his way across the bridge. Normally, he'd go through the straight road, but it was flooded with enemies. They weren't all Onishians though. Some of them he recognized as citizens of this town. He watched as one of the Axe wielders beheaded an innocent child. He turned to the other two and whispered, "I know we're abandoning them, but we don't stand a chance against all of them. There's a way around them, but we'll have to head left first."

"Hey, there's more armed ones!" yelled one of the Onishian soldiers. A few others noticed them and ran after them spears in hand.

"Time to go!" Zach yelled while running down the street to the left.

Team Drake (Everyone else)

The team didn't make it far when a heavy armored general caught site of them. Armor could be seen head to toe with none of his body exposed. The blood on his steel lance and armor made him all the more fearful. "Damn, I was hoping there'd be something more interesting than some mere pipsqueaks." He charged forward lunging his lance into the first thing he saw, which was unfortunately a small dwarf. "One down! Six to go!" He yanked his lance out of the little man now pointing it toward Drake. "Your next!"

"Oh yea, you are a lot of talk bub." Drake remarked. She clearly was egging the man on, hopefully getting him to charge and do something stupid. She wasn't going to attack unless she got a big opening against the General. For now she was focused on dodging and keeping his attention so that the others could get prepared. Holland and Komorrin would be crucial in this fight, as they could more easily take on the foe. Komorrin's bolts would be the most effective as the General's armour not only didn't protect well from magic, but it was a pretty decent conductor as well.

Drake would need to take advantage of being faster than the General, it was the only thing she had against him, and she was damn well going to use it. But for now, she focused everything she could into dodging any attacks coming after her rather than trying to attack.

"Drake what are doing?!? He'll kill you in seconds!" Holland shouted near the top of his lungs. It was no use however. He knew Drakes intentions. All he could do was watch. Holland looked at the now limp dwarf. "Why did I ever ignore you? I could've been there to help you... Raaaaaaaahhhh!!!" Holland started to charge the armored man. "This is for everyone you've ever hurt!" Holland swung his axe into the mans armor. It was no use however. Not even a scratch had been laid on the armor. Holland look dead into the mans eyes through his armor. "I hope you rot in hell." He now braces for the impact of the lance.

Yuri wanted to punch one of them right in the face after seeing that child get decapitated, though he was greatly out numbered and wouldn't stand a chance against them. He listened in on Zach was saying before being noticed by those soldiers. "I think that's our cue to start moving." He said before running left with Zach, hoping Nemir would follow before being poked to death by those spears.

Nemir knew he couldn't help the child, but it angered him all the same. "I really wish I had my cutlass right now.....although those soldiers would probably poke me full of holes before I could use it." he thought, running after his companions.

Lucia held Kelsey as the man killed Karl then proceeded with his attack against Drake, only for Holland to jump in as well. She knew that she couldn't do anything about what Kelsey was going through, all she could do was try to keep her safe, if anyone other than herself. She stood by Drake's orders to keep Kelsey safe and so she never left her side. While being wary of their surroundings she moved herself and Kelsey back a bit, but still in rage for Kelsey to use her magic on the group. "Kelsey, I know you hate this, but if you want to be of any help right now then you will have to be the healer for this fight. If we have you then we might be able to pull this off. I need you to be strong here, please! If anything bad comes your way then I will do my best to help you, but with only the one enemy you won't have to worry about that, don't worry about me, but just be sure to heal us when needed. I'm trusting you on this."

Komorrin looked back at the group just in tome to see Karl get impaled by the armored enemy. "Dammit. I had only looked away for a minute." Komorrin said to himself, frustrated that he didn't see the general coming. He looked over to where Drake and the walking piece of metal had started fighting. Unfortunately, at his current angle, the only one he would be able to hit was Drake. He looked around the area where they were fighting. He didn't see anyone else. He circled around the two combatants until he got a good enough angle and shot a ball of lightning at the general.

Holland saw Komorrin from the corner of his eye and dodged his lightning and a lance strike at the same time. That was rather close. "Watch where you're aiming next time kid!" Holland yelled out to Komorrin. He knew he wouldn't last long if he stayed up too close. Holland had made a move and got out of the situation as quick as possible now trying to defend Kelsey from anything that could come from behind.

Zach led the way down the path when he suddenly heard a loud clash from behind him. He turned around seeing a large pile of ruble blocking the path. In front of it was a mage wearing a cloak and a red hat.

"Aww," spoke the mage. "I thought one of you was Gramps over there. Guess I'll just have to barbeque you people instead." He opened his red book and sent a fireball to ignite the rubble.

In front of the group, a lone soldier holding a worn out lance could be seen charging at the three. Seeing no other options, Zach pulled out an arrow and readied his bow. "So either of you got any ideas?"

Huk, Komo, and Pyrrhorn

The general felt the axe bounce off his armor which annoyed him a bit. That shortly followed by the tingling feeling of a thunder spell. These pest were more pain then fun. He decided to aim for the Fighter first. The man was a sitting duck trying to protect that frail little girl. Perfect! Seeing an opening, he charged towards Holland full force ready to see more blood gush on his lance.

Suddenly, a bright appeared in front of him. To his surprise, the man seemed to have suddenly vanished. This was bad. The general couldn't stop and had to keep running forward further and further. He didn't expect to be played by some rookies so easily. The fighter didn't remain unsatched as a bit of blood could be seen dripping from the lance.

Rubyheart and Pyrrhorn (again)

"Uhm...I can do more than just heal," Kelsey responded to Lucia. She pulled out a rod with angle wing on it. "Just watch." She aimed the rod at Holland and watched as the staff glowed. In a quick flash, the fighter was standing right next to the two. She then saw blood coming from Holland's arm. "Oh no! You're hurt!" Kelsey put away her rescue staff and pulled out another rod, but this one had a red crystal ball at the top.

She pointed it the fighter and waved it until it glowed. Slowly Holland's wound started shrinking until it completely disappeared. She was about to say something when the groans of the frustrated general interrupted her. "I don't think he's going to stay like that for long. Lucia, what should we do?"
