WakelessTitan
So I just got growlithe and I like him but I usually go with dual types but with the scarcity of pokemon in this game I was wondering if there are any good dual type fire pokemon or is growlithe the best I'll get so I should focus on him as my fire type? Lostelle
Hello Wakeless & welcome to the Reborn forums. be sure to introduce yourself in the Grand Hall if you have not already. As you were asking, Growlithe is a pretty good Pokémon, but you can get Numel on the Pier where you first start the game on a rainy day with PokeSnax in your inventory. learns some pretty good moves too You can also get Houndour eventually around the 4th gym & Vulpix from the Salon in Obsidia After that I think that's it for a while Edited February 14, 2015 by Lostelle

Helia
If you just beat Corey (read that in your intro post) You're headed towards the Lapis ward next. on the way there, in North Obsidia Ward you can find an alley to the right of Grand stairway. There is team Magma who will have a mission for you where you will receive a Buizel a fire WATER Stone. Also Houndour becomes available quite soon after that. If you join Team Aqua in the Lapis Ward alley you will soon find a Ponyta and a water stone, though. EDIT: No fire stones yet unfortunately. As I joined Aqua mutiple times, I received a Ponyta and a water stone, so that part is correct. But I may have or may not have assumed joining the opposite team would land you the opposite evolution stone. Serythe
Like the others mentioned there are a handful of fire types you can get around the beginning(ish) part of Reborn. Though for dual types, they seem a bit harder to find. The only one I can think of is Numel in the lava cave on Apophyll island. Was not aware you could get tepig from Azurine island though! Lol. Ponyta: Not so much. However Carvahna is pretty good.
NickCrash
Why only dual types? Regular Fire is awesome. Anyway, Magcargo is a thing... a pretty useless one but still a thing
