devnull
Howdy, y'all. I notice that there are Pokemon, items, and such available in previous episodes that were since removed. Having just finished Episode 14, I'm thinking on starting another run with one of the previous episodes and cheesing it out as hard as I can with some of the things I've seen around the forums, e.g. pickup teams and rather strong Pokemon such as Garchomp. So I found several previous episodes; 9, 10, 11, and 12. I want to be able to take full advantage of things that used to be, so I'm making this thread to ask my seniors about what kinds of things have been removed since I can't find any documentation of these changes and don't suppose it would be kept anyway. Also, can anyone tell me if anything was added to the early game in one of the latter of these episodes that I would miss out on if I were to begin my playthrough on one of the former? Thanks, peace, etc.
Dhanush D Bhatt
Well for one magikarp was removed. I mean they literally hand it out to you when you sign up for the Reborn league

devnull
Thank you, thank you. Does anyone know when and where Gible was available? I see people around the forums with him on their teams but I can't find any information on it.
Lost Lore
Gible has never been obtainable- if you're talking about the trainer cards, they were for the online league, which has since been retired.
devnull
Ah, I see. Well that cures a lot of my envy then.
LittleDevilex
Also you don't need to change episodes, you can trade for the pokemons you want in this thread.
Commander
From Episode 10.1: 1% chance Munchlax with Leftovers from the trees in the wasteland, early access to Magby/Elekid/Magnezone/Magikarp/Starly, the ability to teleport while riding a Tauros, the IV/EV checkers found on the left side of the Grand Gate, First Gym Leader was Terra but with green hair, Original protagonist sprites, X Battle Items still works Pickup is broken ??? What? Pretty sure Julia was still Julia even back before episode 10. As for the sprites, the protagonists were revamped, but pretty they were only changed a tad bit. Huh, I might have mixed up with PO reborn and the game but I could have sworn Terra use to have green hair somewhere...
Administrators Amethyst Posted February 21, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 21, 2015 She did, on PO, but she was never the first leader in-game. What you might be thinking of is that she was the first leader who's appearance I made? And that was when her hair was green
Meruem
wait wtf terra really had green hair at one point? i demand to know how julia reacted to this. either they got along really well or everything went to shit. in any case, there must've been a massive explosion of the energy stored within them. devnull
Was Bright Powder broken in episode 9? None of the Pokemon I have it on have ever dodged a thing. Similarly, my Scrafty missed Hi Jump Kick twice in a row after sticking a Zoom Lens on it, and he indeed moved after his opponent.
