umm are lvl 9 ekans supposed to know coil?

No, I already fixed this as someone notified me earlier. Something happened with the PBS file which gave it coil. I'm sorry about that! But thanks for telling me anyways.

So I managed to get up to Venam but she completely destroys me (started with snivy and picked up an oddish....) so I was trying to purify my duskull and timburr. I managed to get a notification that I could purify timburr can I do this before the gym or do i have to beat it first?

Purification is not yet available in this update, but if I may suggest... training a zubat to a golbat then using reverse candy absolutely helps a lot. It makes the battle way easier.

Purification? Is that shadow pokemon? If so, that sounds even more interesting.

Ok I ran into a really weird glitch, I decided to try and use and use my timburr which was ready to be purified and to my surprise it had some how learned chip away, bulk up, and yawn???. I checked my duskull and it learned destiny bond an egg move, I'm going to try to get the other shadow pokemon ready for purification to see what moves they learn

It's not a glitch. I made it so Shadow Pokemon have 1 move they cant get normally. It's a way to persuade the player in raising + purifying a shadow pokemon.

oh...That's interesting sorry for the false alarm then XD but why did timburr learn chip away and bulk up and these pokemon aren't even purified?

When Pokémon's heart guages go down they relearn moves. Just like in the main games! I'll try to make this more apparent in future releases.

kk thanks for clearing that up sorry I never played coliseum or gale X darkness so i have no idea how this whole shadow pokemon thing works.

Ok. I'm confused. I downloaded it, it came as an RAR file, and seems to be connected to the Windows Media Player, but i can't even find it through there. Help, wanna play it asap to last until Reborn Ep. 13

That's weird. Try right clicking and click "open with" and find some RAR file extractor like winrar archiver.

P.S. Just got to the starter pick and 'your battle.' Your intro is complete 'unnerving' and since 6 gen starters arn't an option and you have a Fennekin, I expect a Kalos starter event for my Froakie, or atleast some way to get it, Protean or not.

More stuff things. Note I probably don't have the patch or anything, but here:

  • When you white out and return to the labby thing at the center of town the lady asks if you want to heal your Pokemon despite the fact that they're already restored. If you say no, entering a Pokecenter will cause the starting over dialogue to play instantly.
  • When you fight Mr. Shiny Bigglesworth the transition scene just says 'and Gang'
  • This guy has decided to wear a whole couch as his hat: http://prntscr.com/4l4ugq
  • As I mentioned with city billboards, these signs are at a 1x resolution which appears inconsistent with existing graphical styles: http://prntscr.com/4l4umq
  • Note the awkward sun beam divisions: http://prntscr.com/4l4xgp - http://prntscr.com/4l4xlc - http://prntscr.com/4l4yfu -- you could either fade them out within the image better or use a larger image so that it doesn't have to tile across the map (or just have the dog image itself tile, but that's difficult if you can't find one already)

  • http://prntscr.com/4l4y9z Her pop down is awkward- Set Move Route has a jump command that you can use (it's a little too bouncy, but it's better than this.) Also if you talk to her before standing in front of the tree the dialogue is a little redundant.

  • Some backsprites are inconsistently sized. Woobat and Froakie stand out.

  • Melia seemed to imply she would heal your Pokemon, but that definitely didn't seem to be happening.

  • Not a bug but general feedback: Alpha Metronome is a walking plot hole the way it's explained right now...

Two, having drained the water, what was it being contained by? Presently it looks like it would just flood the whole gym.
Finally, my personal highlight
Turns out Prankster Cottonee, the few revives I got before, and a little bit of luck go a long way. I was able to defeat this thing on the first try and despite not expecting it. Of course, the dialogue didn't seem to have changed so it was a little disappointing, but still great success.

For the Melia not healing you thing, I'm not sure what happened because I double checked, and all of the speech in her common events hold the recover all script.

And yeah for the dimensional rift thingy. it's just a placeholder until I can create a better graphic for it.

Other than that I'll get started on fixing the rest/improving on some of the stuff you mentioned. Thanks!

Edit: Mostly a sidenote to myself, but I may have been way too ambitious with this game, and mayyy have up to the 5th badge completed, oops. I see why people upload right after they do a section because of all the possible errors, and stuff. Oh well, I'll remember that for next time, haha. Thanks to everyone who have played, and given me feedback. It helps a lot! <3

I hate to ask this.....but how do i apply the patch?

Simple. Just delete the data folder in the original rar, then replace it with the data folder inside of the patch folder. That should do it!
