laggless01 Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) Bennett is like a stereotypical creepy basement dweller, and was way too influenced by El, who he had just meant and done nothing to prove his trustworthiness. If I were Luna I'd have Bisharp pierce through his stomach. Things got meta very quickly when you sum it up like that... I could bear Fern in the beginning, he was an big sting to the .... (locking me out of the gym, will you? well thanks for all the exp that I would've missed otherwise, I couldn't have beat you if you didn't help me so much...), but at least he didn't go full grassy hole yet. The cage incident made me think: "Wow, he is a real big one. You can smell him from miles away...", but I still didn't want to punch him in the face. After the Corey incident, however, I thought: "Oh you did NOT say that you ***********!" And so my hate was born... But if it comes down to it, he has to go a long way before he gets to the likes of Sirius. Seriously. Especially when you also know about a certain note of Corey... That guy is the pinnacle of being awful. Yeah, you could've seen that one coming, it's quite obvious. But still, it takes talent and skill to be such a toxic monster. EDIT: oh yeah, forgot about El. Didn't see him for a while, so that might have to do with it. Still doesn't beat the two above in my opinion. Other than that love everyone. i think im the only one, but i actually like all the trainers like him, because, they're funny, beating their asses makes you feel good and at least they're realistic and a lot closer to what our society is actually like. official pokemon games make it seem like every young girl is a loli, young boys want to be the very best and all adults are only distinguishable by their job or free-time hobby. plus, the references contained within their dialogues always makes me shed a tear of joy :'). That, combined with the fact that his 'religion' is a blatant cult (har har, big difference), and that shot El to the top of my shit list. The fact that he simply excuses all of his actions with "Arceus told me to do it lawl" and (from what we can tell) 'corrupted' an easily impressionable guy who's clearly not the most socially conscious person in the world does nothing but piss me off. Gossip Gardevoir is a close second. Good God is she a catty piece of work. She's so unnecessarily disrespectful to anyone that isn't in Radomus or Luna's good graces; the standard bitchy popular girl that steps on people who don't kiss her ass. Most of the interviews are funny, but they don't paint GG in a positive light at all. So what if she has a soft spot for Luna (and Radomus), bad people can have redeeming qualities, they're still bad people Fern was created as a hate sink, so he doesn't count. You would think that I would be able to find ONE of them to relate with. I'm used to having to project myself on a character when I'm not given choice. Unfortunately, Reborn offers enough of a choice to feel lacking. At least to me. - Solaris This guy is nearly a complete unknown. We know that he's ruthless as ever, being the first terrifying antagonist we encounter, but even well after that encounter on Pyrous Mountain, there's still no method behind the madness. - Victoria Least. Helpful. Rival. Ever. Period. She comes across, at this point, like a waste of space. - Hardy Hardy's dialogue about "absolute faith" in Calcenon is something I as a person don't agree with. Like yeah he's a monster, but the fact we have a completely despicable character who isn't a team admin/leader and is a selfish morally defunct doctor who uses pokemon for some messed up therapy makes him quite notable. He's not as cartoonishly evil as the typical pokemon villain, just a real asshole and sort of believable in how he operates. Plus imagine how terrfiying it is as a kid seeing red eyed scowling grunting electivire snaring you with its tentacles and delivering near lethal amounts of voltage through your body on a daily basis in the form of therapy. It's not only traumatizing, but told that it's being done because there's something mentally wrong with you. That could really screw up a person. Sigmund is disturbing, deplorable, and yet somewhat awesome. Terra Idk, she kind of comes off as a Tina from Borderlands 2 knockoff. It's kind of funny how her dialogue is written like middle school txtspk but she's a bit annoying from little I've seen of her. Blake who I believe is Cal's brother + the guy that kills Amaria(according to shade's gym) seems like a scumbag too, although Cal lost a lot of respect for me during "that scene." They're a thing that is really very rare in Pokemon games, and well-done characters that are evil but not shallow or cliche or ~edgy~ for the sake of it are rare in general. So, while I despise them in-game, I love them as characters. Now Victoria... I have to agree with what was said before. She is just useless. Constantly changes her mind on the basis of her flippant emotions, trying to stop me when I'm WORKING ON RESCUING OUR MUTUAL FRIENDS/THE CITY/THE WORLD HELLO VICKY WHAT??? If you respect your sensei so much why do you think you know better than her what she's capable of handling? Do the kidnapped kids likely being tortured EVERY MOMENT YOU DELAY ME not matter to you at all? I so wished I could slap her. How the hell did somebody so stupid end up as ~the best student~ at the Apophyll Academy? It's probably because her head is so devoid of thought meditation was a cakewalk. And I think she was just gazing off into her imagination about Cal, lol. I wish she does come back, though. I agree that she did like 3 things and then disappeared. Her character deserves to be more fleshed out. Edit: Also, I'm going to have to say (Please don't shoot me) that Terra is my least favorite. And the last is dat fucking jumper man so stole the secret pokemon randomly and waste my shards. No one jokes with my game money and mah shards. I think there's a maximum amount of NPCs you can find that have relation to the stolen secret pokemon incident, but I'm not sure is as of ep14 you can actually get it. Is this possible? Kiki does have an "Obey your principles no matter what" vibe to her dojo. Storywise, I don't have too many problems with her. She has some badass qualities to her despite how ineffectual they are in the end. But my main problem with Kiki is in gameplay. I just want that goddamn HM and badge so I can get on with my life and save some buddies of mine, but noooooo, I have to climb a volcano and challenge an unrelated gym leader and fight Team Meteor and let my mons soak up all that exp and then let it go to waste because I'm reaching the level cap.
