Damage Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 Hello and I really hope I'm in the right place since I... I'm not sure. I just got alpha Sapphire since I had sapphire as a kid and it was my jam. Before I even open it I know I don't want any of the starters since I've played with them all hundreds of times in the original version as well as reborn so I'm a tad sick of them. I want to trade my starter for a different starter. My preferences are Gible, Deino and Scyther. Gible I think wins it. (Don't care about stats or nature, just the poke and that its a male.) Shanco Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 My personal recommendation is Gible, but don't rely on him too much through the game as the elite four will very much destroy Garchomp unless he has a significant level advantage. Scyther is cool as well, if you can evolve him with a friend he'll be a boss, especially after the 4th gym. DJWongTong Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 It is not necessarily the most "efficient" way of doing things but pretty much right after you get to Petalburg the game will give you access to Wonder Trade which pairs you up with a random person to trade mons blindly, it is completely automated so it goes by fast and I've gotten some pretty awesome things from it (Starters from different gens, IV bred mons, Dratini, Larvitar, Japanese Ghastly). The best thing about it is if you don't like what you get you can just toss it back into the stream for something else, anyways happy trading!
