Why_not both

In all seriousness, nobody has asked the question where did they get all this money and technology? Think about it for a moment. Just think about it.

Sounds like a valid question to me. Considering Team Meteor went through all the effort of bringing down Reborn's economical structure, one would wonder why Devon are still doing fine from the looks of it. There's got to be some reason they either haven't been targeted yet, or couldn't be harmed.

Though I doubt we're gonna get any answers to that any time soon.

As far as previews of new content go, the info on the new field effect sounds awesome, but I've never been a person to actively crave spoilers.

The numbers are fine, and informative enough for me personally.

Perhaps Devon has been taken over by Team Meteor and there is a special post game sidequest where you take them down along with this guy:

200px-Omega_Ruby_Alpha_Sapphire_Steven.p

In that scenario,it is highly likely that Devon is funding Team Meteor's activities with the money they gain from the pokeball sales and stuff. Might be pretty cool but take everything said in this thread with a grain of salt.

Ame has been trying to sweep all the evidence under the rug but we're onto you,WE KNOW HE'S EVIL AT HEART,WE KNOW HE'S IN TEAM METEOR,WE KNOW,that you're gunna shoot all this speculation down to keep it up.

Does this mean... we're going back to the City?

Well we've been kicked out of the City and society as a whole for three episodes and Amethyst has tortured us knowing the department store has basically every single evolution item with the next episode starting with a waterfall that connects to Reborn City's sewer system. I'm going to say no. No we are not.

^_^ we'll get to the exit from the sewers to see another Mr. Mime barrier blocking the way (and Fern trolling on the other side)

Actually, I guess the soonest we're gonna return at the city above the surface will be after the end of this episode, at best. Maybe even later. If we returned in the beginning or in the middle of this episode, Ame wouldn't have had the need to stop access from the latest Dept. Store floors, since we could simply grab them evo goodies practically at the exact same moment: before starting the main action of the episode.

As of Devon, there is an NPC, I think a Street Rat in C. Obsidia, stating that Yureyus business started going bad when lots of Devon people started taking jobs at Yureyu. Only, Team Meteor has already confirmed they were the ones doing the infiltration. So it's pretty solidly confirmed that Devon in Reborn is just a facade for the Meteors.

Now I desperately want to see Fern moonwalking along a Mr. Mime barrier.

Well... if Kurotsune wanted a change in the topic, xe got one.

Don't know if it's the one xe wanted, but... :I

At least it stopped people from talking about the 1% movement that happened during the discussions...oops.

It's occurred to me that basically everything I said about the status categories in that other thread, while generally, true, is backwards for this episode.

For instance, mapping was somewhat quick (+50% in one night???) whereas eventing was much slower because, due to how this dungeon is said up I'm actually making four variants of each room for different functionality. This means that on the mapping aspect, once I was what appeared to be a quarter done, I just had to clone everything three times. Boom boom boom. Unfortunately, it also means I had to do all the eventing four times over. Normally eventing should be the quicker one.

And then, although sidequests usually take me forever, that's gonna go 0-100 in one day for this episode... cuz there's really only two I need to do. All of the others were done in advance back in E13.

...But man. E16 side quests. That's gonna be a grind.

Maybe you should do a E16 and a E16+... or shouldn't.
