NickCrash
Items are for the weak. Radomus gave me a nice surprize as his GG was strong enough to faint two of mine. Then again, monster Durant finishes most jobs. Luna was a cakewalk. Sadly for her, when she threw Umbreon out, I had already set up.
RagesSorrow
Guys if you're using revives during a fight you lose all right to claim it was easy since it's a huge advantage the AI completely lacks and takes away a lot of risk during battle. At what point did I say revives were used? I simply sweeped her with EQ and Stone Edge.
Monochrome_Complex
Yeah we know, your team was really well built against her. Sadly, not all of us had that luxury.
Sharu
Is Charlotte the last Gym Leader in the current release? NO, its Terra
Commander
Sadly, I don't think it's the leaders, but by the time you get to that point, you already have a really nice team. What made Luna difficult for me was that huge level gap (at this point I think I was just reaching 48-50 range). It really just depends on your team how difficult they are. For example, I used a lot of Pokemon available through the first few areas of the game and struggled through just about every leader multiple times. Then I got to Noel (pre-nerf version) and he was ridiculously easy for me. I mean like not even try easy yet Sigmund could completely sweep me before that battle. I had a problem with Samson on my first play because I beat Radomus and Luna quite easily with a heavily underleveled team. With Route 2 being terrible for training I decided to restart since I also didn't like my lineup. When I came to Samson the second time I had trained quite well in Vanhanen Labyrinth and was able to beat him on the second try.

I mean, route 2 has those crustles, sure they have sturdy 1/2 the time, but there still pretty good xp and spammable. Commander
I'll admit Samson doesn't get the credit he deserves. That Hariyama and Mienshao were tough to beat so I figured those were his weak Pokemon so I grinded up my team 2-3 levels and Typhlosion right before the cap. Sure I swept him pretty hard, but that was only because I had a Gardevoir who could tank even a Mienshao's Poison Jab. Roserade was also kind of broken one shotting half his team with a majorly boosted Petal Dance. If the field had a couple minor tweaks, he'd be a bit more challenging to fight (I'm scarred of Ciel though if we have to fight her in that field). madf0x
I ran a fairly similar team as you did,and yeah hariyama wrecks luna pretty hard despite her move coverage. Thick fat hariyama is just boss in general. Can almost always count on him to tank nearly any hit or two and get in the crucial knock-off/close-combat Radomus was almost difficult, but on like my second try he let me setup my Ampharos via spam charge beam. Eventually it just had too much sp.att and one shot the rest of his team. Was the difference between a 5-0 sweep and failure.

Didn't have the patience for that and I'm pretty content now
Lostelle
Samson gave me a struggle at first because I didn't really have a counter to abuse his big-top arena, and my levels were a bit under as well because Luna is right before him, it's a Gym, New area, then Gym right away.
