Deleted User
Very nice! Are you aware that the rate of Pokemon being shiny in Reborn is 700/65536 (1.07%) instead of 8/65536

Are you aware that the rate of Pokemon being shiny in Reborn is 700/65536 (1.07%) instead of 8/65536 Correction the rate is actually 80/65,536. This applies to wild encounters though. you are quite a into breeding lately did you suddenly start breeding when you finish ep.14?you got 2 shiny by breeding already also congrats. Finished Ep.14 and started breeding my team to get perfect natures and ev's. Nice, how are it's stats? IV's are mediocre, but nature is perfect. Deleted User
Correction the rate is actually 80/65,536. This applies to wild encounters though. Nah, it's 8 in canon games (16 as of Gen VI). And 700 in Reborn. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shiny_Pok%C3%A9mon Generation VI This generation slightly changed how Shiny Pokémon are determined. While the basic formula is still identical to Generation III and all games since then, the value the formula returns now only has to be less than 16 to result in a Shiny, rather than less than 8. This results in a probability of 16/65536 or 1/4096, double the previous probability.

Xiri
It's not a huge deal in Reborn. I've got one box full of shinies in one of my saves. Although I must admit, I never had a shiny Pokemon hatch from an egg.
