Yash
So, I'm going to be free for a while now and was planning a trip to Thailand with a friend. It's going to be 2 days in Bangkok and 2 in Pattaya. If anybody has been there I'd like some advice on things to do. We will be going for the Alcazar show and the temple tour and to Coral island. Other than that what else can I do? Also if there are natives from either cities please tell me good places to go to where there are fewer tourists. Like pubs and all where the local people prefer hanging out. HakuTaku
Can't help you. I've only been to Hong Kong regarding Asia. Don't get into cabs that say that they will take you to places. Don't piss off the monkeys too. Have fun~

NickCrash
As Faust said, watch out because Bangcock is notorious for such things. The Hangover film might also be inspirational.
Yash
Nick, hangover 2 was sucky... But good point.. I'll know where to avoid..
NickCrash
Given it was the first of the 3 that I watched, I liked it, but yes in comparison it did suck. Oh and don't forget the food. Try to find the stores not so exposed to the public, but the ones in the alleyways. You'll be surprized with what you find.
