roqi
Yeah there'll be spoilers here, if you haven't been attacked in a house in a valley yet don't read. So, when the Meteor boats are sunk in the lake... the grunts' Pokemon, all in their Pokeballs, sink with them. Do you think Pokemon need to breathe in their balls and drowned together with their trainers, or not, and they're stuck in stasis on the bottom of the lake forever? >>; Maybe when we can Dive there we'll find one of them... Qaaz
Yes we all speculate about Dive thing and no Mons on Pokeballs are no needed of air/oxygen
Helia
In the anime it's been shown quite a few times that Pokeballs with Pokemon still in them can survive underwater I believe...
roqi
Yes we all speculate about Dive thing and no Mons on Pokeballs are no needed of air/oxygen I've seen speculation re: Tara, but not the Pokemon. How do you know they don't need air? Was that stated somewhere? In the anime it's been shown quite a few times that Pokeballs with Pokemon still in them can survive underwater I believe... Ahah, so there's a precedent... Edited March 13, 2015 by roqi

XxSilentWinterxX
Didn't Professor Oak once say (not sure if it was anime or somewhere else) that the Pokeball created a unique ecosystem for the Pokemon inside. Wouldn't that mean it could survive even if the Pokeball was submerged underwater? I could've sworn he did, but correct me if I'm wrong. PsychoticPudu
You don't even have the chance to battle her. You only ever meet Tara in Yureyu, where she just talks about how could be the world after Meteor's plans end up being successful.

You can battle her several times (while she's stealing Pokemon and at Yureyu)
