Qaaz
Ok some friend started yesterday the game and he beat Julia some hours before. He is noob on pokemon so I plan him some easy team for him His started was Fennekin now Braixen (Blaze) the rest is: Electrike (Minus we will change it to Rod) Kricketune Trubbish Espurr (M) (Own Tempo) Whismur (Soundproof) I suggest him Lotad for his team later and after the 5th badge Ralts for Gardevoir to replace Espurr So the team would be Delphox Manectric Ludicolo (Rain Dish?) Gardevoir (Telepathy) and I think for Excadrill I don't want to give him something like Trick Roomer (had the idea for Gallade first and plus some Cofagrigus) b/c his knowledge is limited Had the idea of give him a Skrelp/Dragalge but it needs some work/breed/tm to be good for him So any idea? Consider that he is noob/limited knowledge player so something not so tricky to use
Lostelle
Well, maybe make the Gardevoir's ability Trace, I think it's more useful, otherwise wait for Etesian to give you some pointers he's good at this
Etesian
For early game? Don't even bother with Espurr, Simple Woobat has it beat in all regards. Also have him grab a Sentret early game, Furret is actually really good early and even gets Sucker Punch for Shade. Arbok is also really good early. ...and that's all I've got. You said you want simpler stuff, no breeding and what-not, and this is for early-game, so besides that^^ stuff, I'm utterly useless here

Lostelle
Manectric w/ Discharge in Shade's field is incredibly OP. Make sure he abuses that.
Follow
At least for me, a fighting type is necessary in every team, something like toxicroak or machamp, even chesnaught. Are some good options, but nothing can beat the trio that we can get after the agate lock up. Lucario, conkeldurr or mienshao, six good pokemon to choose. I hope it helped. Odybld
Manectric's really nice, but I kinda prefer Ampharos. Gets Power Gem for Shelly, Bennett, Serra, Charlotte etc, Signal Beam for Radomous, Luna and Fern, much more versalite. Have your friend join Gang Aqua and grab Rapidash. With the move relearner it gets Poison Jab *cough*Clefable*cough* and Megahorn, learns Bounce right at 45 for Kiki, is pretty nice and neat. Also tell him to grab Ghost X and the Focus Sash for Solaris XD

Ampharos's slow speed makes it rather weaker, and a bit unusable in double battles, (discharge hits your teammate), because it doesnt get any other moves besides t-punch, which isn't great off a poor attack stat. I think Ampharos is more of a longterm keeper due to versatility. I really like it being able to SE damage fire, ice, flying, grass, psychic and dark types with two moves it learns by itself. Manectric is better early, to take on Julias attacks and discharge Shade out of his plant, but without TMs available and for a beginner who may not be interested in breeding moves and hatching eggs or catching a lot of 'mons for each situation and just wants to move on quickly, I'll take the loss of speed for the versatility and extra bulk. I think Ampharos is just the better longterm choise in Reborn. I have to say I don't mind Discharge in doubles, I use a lot of Swampert and Flygon Anyway, its just what each one likes to use or not. And Manectric must be really better for competitive stuff (which I don't actually play).
