Administrators Amethyst Posted July 14, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted July 14, 2011 All surf chores south of Ecruteak completed! Onwards, to the sea! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 11 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BrokenOpal the Starmie- 25 Turquoise the Vaporeon- 25 Lithion the Magnemite- 26 Mina the Golbat- 25 Snickety the Quagsire- 25 Emerald the Poliwhirl- 25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *totally just lied* Onwards, to the hell known as Olivine Lighthouse! For some sad reason I know by memory that first up is the gentleman with the Noctowl, but Emerald makes short work of that, and levels up in the process~ ..and then he wants my phone number. I AM A TEN YEAR OLD GIRL WITH BAD FASHION SENSE AND YOU WANT MY PHONE NUMBER? YOU CREEPY OLD MAN GTFO ...Then a sailor. Emerald > his Poliwag/Whirl. AND HE WANTS MY NUMBER TOO. WHAT IS THIS. And before I know it, the area is cleared. So much easier than in the originals... Oh well~ Now, Onwards, to the sea! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A bit later, Route 40 has been entire cleared~ I've learned a few things about this team: Mina + Turquoise = Wreck shit. Emerald + Lithion = Hax magnet (AHAHA SEE WHAT I DID THERE ITS FUNNY BECAUSE LITHION IS A MAGNEMITE LOLOLOLOLO (And to be perfectly honest, that was originally unintentional >>)), but except that, wreck shit. Snickety + Shell Bell = Hammertime (Can't touch this.) BrokenOpal + Anything = Win. I don't think there's anything here it hasn't OHKO'd even if Not-Very-Effectively attacking. o.o Back to the Pokecenter to heal, and we're going for Round 2, at Route 41. Which means, the catch of the dayyyyyy. inb4tentacool. Which would actually not be the worst thing, but if I can sometimes use the power of even more luck than I had when catching BrokenOpal, my fingers are crossed for Mantine. Looking it up in my Perfect GSC guidebook, it's a 4% appearance rate. lolno. Tentacool was caught! Nickname... After trying to decide between "Society" being that water+poison = Society pollutin' shit, or some spin off of Toxicity by System Down... I end up with SocialDown. Note to self: See if this has a lonely nature or something like that to suit its rather asocial name. >> << ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...random phone call from the sailor in the lighthouse: "Sup! My POLIWAG's looking tougher than ever! It even looks tougher than me!" So I can only imagine that my sailor friend has somehow morphed into the likness of a squished prune, because that's about the only thing Poliwag looks tougher than. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Land Ho! And a few poking around houses I meet some excuse for a trainer! "Boohoo, my Pokemon was just stolen! Here, take the other one!" Either he realised he wasn't worthy to be one, or he's just really that lame. This is how adventure happens, man! Keep this other Pokemon, and use it to OWN EVERYTHING and go on a hunt for vengence! Find you friend! Live a conquest! But no. He'll just cry about it. Oh well, more for me~ Shuckie the Shuckle was recei- ... Shuckie? Really? You horrible, horrible nick-namer. I am doing this Shuckle a favor, not you. He won't have deal with your incompetence anymore. Never own a Pokemon again please. ...When did I become so much of a bitch? ._. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway, combing the rest of the city, and then- WTFSUICUNE Of course, it gets away, but- ...Of course Eusine shows up too. ._. E: Yo, Amie. A: H-hey! Where'd you come from? E: Wasn't that Suicune just now? A: Suicune? W-what? Uh, n-no, of course not! E: I only caught a quick glimpse, but I thought I saw Suicune running on the waves. A: Ahaha, really? That's- That's ridiculous. You can clearly see there's no Suicune here! (And if there is, I'll catch it before you do. >> Maybe.) E: Suicune is beautiful and grand. It races through towns and roads at simply awesome speeds. A: She is rather pretty... E: It's wonderful. I want to see Suicune up close. A: Yeah, me too... (I totally just did, ahaha~) E: I've decided. I'll battle you as a Trainer to Suicune's respect. A: Yea- waitwaitwait, what? What does Suicune care about me...? E: Come on, Amie! Let's battle now! A: Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmkay. Mystery Man Eusine sends out Drowzee! Amie starts with Lithion (Lv 28 Magnemite)! Lithion goes for a Supersonic, but misses. Drowzee takes the chance to put Lithion to sleep with a Hypnosis attack... But Drowzee squanders its turn failing to use Disable. Lithion wakes up and paralyses Drowzee with Thunder Wave, followed by missing another Supersonic! Well, if Parafusion won't work... We'll just go for it. Drowzee beats away at Lithion with Confusion! But even a critical hit does almost nothing thanks to Lithion's steel typing~ Lithion uses Sonicboom, but Drowzee's bulk takes it well. Drowzee puts Lithion back to sleep! A couple turns later, not productive ones on Drowzee's part, Lithion wakes up and scores the Supersonic! Drowzee hurts itself immediately, and Lithion goes in with an array of Sonicbooms~ Drowzee quickly reaches critical condition, but the killing blow misses, and Drowzee puts Magnemite to sleep yet AGAIN. It continues firing away with Confusion, which is now actually accumulating damage... And one hit puts Lithion into a confused status too! >< Lithion wakes up... With all the confusions its taken, if it hurts itself this could be bad... And... Sonicboom! Drowzee goes down! Eusine sends out Electrode! Lition, come back! Go, PerSnickety (Lv 28 Quagsire)! ...if this thing uses Selfdestruct or Explosion or anything of the sort, I'm screwed. Mud Bomb! Electrode is looking pretty hurt. It just used Screech, which means... Hm. Sonic Boom! Phew~ And 20 damage means nothing to PerSnickety. Electrode faints! Eusine sends out Haunter! PerSnickety, switch out! Goooooo, Turquoise~ (Lv 28 Vaporeon)! The quickest match of them all~ Haunter uses Curse, only to be KO'd by Turquoise's Shadow Ball attack! Surprise~ E: I hate to admit it, but you win! A: At least it was a pointless battle~ E: You're amazing, Amie! A: Thanks, but- E: I'm starting to understand why Suicune was keeping an eye on you. A: waitsuicunewaswhat E: I'm going to keep searching for Suicune. I have a feeling we'll see each other again someday. See ya around! A: ... So Eusine is stalking Suicune is stalking me. So Eusine is stalking me. Of COURSE he'll see me again. ._. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now for the real battle. After freeing chuck from the confines of his waterfall trainer, we're set to rock and roll. C: Oomph! The pounding waterfall right onto my head! A: The sentence fragment. C: Arrgh! A: I know. Grammar, it gets you every time. C: Why did you stop the waterfall from pouring on me! A: When asking a question, it's customary to end with a question mark, not an exclamation point. C: You just spoiled my training! A: And you are spoling the souls of many an English proffessor. C: I have to warn you that I am a strong Trainer training every day under this waterfall. A: Yes. You have honed your skills of redundancy quite well. But that has nothing to do with Pokemon. C: What? It has nothing to do with Pokemon? A: That is what I just said, yes. C: ... A: ... C: That's true! A: ...You think? C: ... A: ...Oh wait, you're a Fighting Type Leader. Of course you don't think. C: ... A: ... C: Come on! We shall do battle! A: ......... Chuck sends out Primeape! Amie starts with Turquoise (Lv 28 Vaporeon)! Primeape is tightening its focus! Turquoise used Surf! Primape lost its focus and couldn't move! Primeape's in critical condition... got a Potion for us, Chuck? Why yes, he does. But Primeape takes a second Surf to send him right back to the red. Primeape uses Double Team, but is instantly KO'd by another Surf! Chuck sends out Poliwrath! Turquoise, switch out! Come back! Go, Mina (Lv 28 CROBAT)! Indeed, somewhere across the sea, Mina finally evolved into Crobat~ And as fun as it would be to just Wing Attack Poliwrath into oblivion, I suspect it carries Rock Slide or something to that tune, so that simply won't do. C: We haven't lost yet. A: You sure? I give it four turns. My plan is already set. Turn 1! Mina uses Rain Dance! Poliwrath uses Hynosis! Mina falls asleep! A: And then Focus Punch, I'm sure... Not a bad straegy after all. But in this case, it throws me off only a little bit. Mina, come back! Gooooooooo, BrokenOpal! (Lv 28 Starmie)! But now, it's raining, such a pretty rain~ Turn 2! Poliwrath uses Body Slam on the switch. BrokenOpal takes it in the green, so no pr-...oblem. BrokenOpal is paralyzed... Just my luck. Turn 3~ Poliwrath uses a Rain-boosted Surf! BrokenOpal takes it~ Aaaaaand, THUNDER. Politoed pulls down to the yellow, but has a Sitrus berry... Thanks to that Berry, it might live a second Thunder after all... C: No... Not...yet... A: ...Really? Really? PUT A SPACE AFTER YOUR ELIPSIS, CHUCK. BrokenOpal, finish this moron! Because it IS yet. It's Turn 4~ THUNDER! Poliwrath is KO'd~ C: We...lost... A: WHAT DID I JUST SAY ABOUT THE SPACE?! Amie is the victor! C: Hmm... I lost? A: ...You literally just acknowledged that; why are you asking now? C: How about that! All right. You're worthy of the Storm Badge! Amie received the Storm Badge from Chuck! A: Storm Badge for a battle ended in Rain, huh? Appropriate. Not only that, you correctly used "All right" as two words instead one, the way everyone else does! Great job, I'm impressed! You're learning~ Everyone wins! Aaaaand, I got a Focus Punch TM... Well now. I was honestly quite surprised by his Hypnosis/Focus Punch combo (even if he didn't use it...) Originally I was going to let Emerald learn Wake-Up Slap instead, before I evolved, buuuuut~ Hmhmhm. With some surprising awesome music to boot~ But, does it have awesome Pokemon to match? Probably not~ But that's okay! ...Well before I even find any Grass, I enter the Cliff Cave area... And... There's something special here. <3 Let's see if I find it~ *sigh* Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo That's not it! Kingler was caught! Blaaaaaaaaah. I was going to come up with something for the name, but. It's a girl. So this Queengler. >.> and is staying in the box for a very long time. D: Now... The route 47 catch! ...Tentacool. Surprise! Go die. ...and the next pokemon I run into was a Seel. Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel. I really would've enjoyed having its Hydration on this team. ._. But oh well... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SAFARI ZONE I'm supposed to catch a Geodude? ...Sorry, Rokurolla, but fuck that noise. Let's see what I end up with... After reviewing all the options, I realise it's... possible to catch a Dratini while fishing, if unlikely, so what the hell. And it's... ... ...Seaking. Hm, actually, this might not be the worst thing in the world. Throw one piece of bait, and 11 balls, and it's caught~ If it's useful or not... We'll determine later. I've named her TigerLily after the pattern on her back and such... Retire immediately since Safari Zone + Nuzlocket = lolno, buuuuutttttt... Ffffail. This Seaking has Water Veil, not Swift Swim. x.x USELESS. BACK IN THE BOX. AND STAY THERE, SCRUB. Oh, um, I, I mean, I'm truly very sorry Ms.TigerLily but despite everyone's best efforts you could not possible be of service to us at this exact moment, so if you kindly please wait in the PC box with the rest of your [s]useless[/s] friends, I'm sure you will be most comofortable! ^.^ ....But the real shame... Is that Misdreavus was available in both the Safari Zone and Route 47. QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQq ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Soooooooo back to you Jasmine! ...And the trainers who fake me out by pretending they're going to battle me... J: Thanks for your help at the Lighthouse. A: Oh, yeah, yeah. No problem. Actually I don't think I wrote anything about that so your saying that doesn't do much for our audience... J: But this is different. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Jasmine, a Gym Leader. I use the... clang! A: thewat J: Steel type! A: ...Oh, yeah. I don't think that's called the Clang though. J: ...Do you know about the Steel type? A: ...I know it's not called the Clang. J: They are very hard, cold, sharp, and really strong! A: Cold and sharp... Sounds like another Steel leader I know. J: Um... I'm not lying. A: ...Another Steel leader who's your exact opposite. Whatever, let's do this! Jasmine sends out Magnemite! Amie stars with Mina! (Lv 30 Crobat) ...Whoops forgot to set my lead. That's fine. Mina U-Turns to PerSnickety (Lv 30 Quagsire)! Magnemite uses Thunderbolt... It doesn't affect PerSnickety~ Persnickety uses Mud Bomb! Magnemite drops dead! Jasmine sends out Steelix! PerSnickety, come back! Goooooooooo Turquoise (Lv 30 Vaporeon)! The Magnemite are the small fries. Steelix is the real challenge. Especially since it's 5 LEVELS ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE INVOLVED IN THIS BATTLE But 5 levels or not, I suspect it won't like a Turquoise's Surf~ Turquoise, go for it! ... ... ... It's a one hit KO! >> << >> << J: Properly tempered steel won't be made rusty by things like this! A: ...Uh huh, just one-shotted. Water > Steel, end of story. jasminesendsmagnemitegopersnicketymudbombkthxbai J: Well done... Amie is the victor! ...Without even taking any damage. Woo J: You're a better trainer than me in both skill and kindness... A: ...Uh, kindness? J: In accordance with League rules, I confer upon you this badge. A CRITICAL HIT ...The Red Gyarados survives, and is caught one Dusk Ball later. We'll name it... Sauremix ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now to storm us some Rocket HQs! Yeeeeehaw! Giovanni: Muahaha, we've been waiting for you. So, you are Amie... A: Yeah, that's right. And who are you supposed to be? Giovanni: Me? You don't know who I am? A: That's what I just said. Giovanni: It is me, Giovanni. A: ...Who? Giovanni: The majestic Giovanni himself! A: ...Yeah, not ringing a bell. Were you on American Idol or something once? Giovanni: Whahahaha! A: I'm pretty sure that guy had a much better voice than you though... Wasn't he a tenor anyway? Giovanni: ...Huh? I don't sound anything like Giovanni? A: Not really. Also, I'm pretty sure he was in brighter clothes, at least, for his first audition. Giovanni: I don't even look like Giovanni? A: ..Not really. I think he was younger too. Giovanni: How come? I've worked so hard to mimic him! A: ... That's weird. Why wouldn't you mimic one of the people who actually WON that show? FLASHYSPINNINGCOSTUMECANGE Petrel: I am a Team Rocket Executive! A: ....waitnowhat, back up, I thought we were talking about American Idol. Where did Team Rock come from? ._. P: You must be trying to sneak into the radio-transmitter room. A: Oh, that's what it's called? I'm kinda just following Lance actually. I wasn't really paying attention to what he said. P: Well, that's not going to happen. A: I'm also not really paying attention to what you say. P: That room is protected with a special password. The password is "Hail Giovanni." A: ...Oh? Okay, thanks for telling me. See ya. P: Surprised to hear it from me? A: Not really, you kinda seem like a goof in the first place, so... I'll be getting into the radio-transmitterthingy now if you don't mind. P: Knowing the password won't help you though. A: ...What P: The door won't open unelss I say the password. It only reacts to my voice. A: ...So I'll just get a clip of your voice from that episode of American Idol. Done and done. Thanks, see ya. Petrel sends out Zubat! A: ...Wait, what? How is THAT a segue into a battle? Ugh. Okay, fine. Go, Turquouise! Turquoise used Surf! Petrel was washed away into a pool of his own failure! Amie borrowed the computer Petrel was working on. Amie obtained American Idol Voice Clip! Amie put the American Idol Voice Clip in the Key Items Pocket! One short stroll through the rocket base later, and the gate is unlocked Ariana: Hold it right there Amie: What nowwwwwwww Ariana: We can't let a brat like you do as you please forever. It'll hurt Team Rocket's pride over and over again. Making it lessen, you see. Amie: I may be a kid dressed in the dorkies clothes this side of Mt. Silver, but I understand the concept of hurting pride. You don't have to explain. Ariana: ...So, it's time to finish you. However strong you may be, if the two of us fight at the same time, you'll have no chance of winning. Don't you agree? Amie's thought process: Dear Ariana, I regret to inform you that you are unfortunate mistaken in your assumptions that two undere levelled Rocket trainers each with less than six Pokemon have any chance of defeating me regardless of if they team up or not. Let us first not ignore the fact that although I cannot be two people, I CAN use two pokemon at once, and am more than capable of commanding both of them effectively. However, even ignoring that, given the difference in strength, I would venture to guess that even did I use only one Pokemon, thanks to the multitude of Area of Effect moves I possess in my arsenal, I should still have no problem taking the both of you out even if you did have full teams. However, as I am allowed to use two Pokemon in this scenario, I feel inclined to inform you that my team is in fact weather-based, relying on the move Rain Dance. Now in case you were unaware, this tactic is actually MORE effective in doubles due to the fact that more of my party is able to use the effect of the limited-turn rain each turn, so in fact by challenging me both at once you are doing me a FAVOR, and I hope you enjoy your Thunders and 1.5 boosted Surfs to the face. Also, this does not mention the fact that more than half of my team actually carries Surf, and incidentally, half of my team also possesses the latent ability, Water Absorb meaning with each attack not only will you be drowning in your own patetic foolishness, but I will also be saving myself a number of potions- that is, if you even succeed in inflicting any damage in the first place. With love, Amie~ What Amie actually said: surflol And thus, Ariana was defeated. And THEN Lance shows up L: Sorry, Amie. I saw how well you were doing, so I just hung back. A: Oh, haha... It's fine. I needed the EXP more than you anyway. L: Now all there is left to do is turn off that odd radio signal. A: How? L: It's this machine that's causing the problems. I don't see a switch anywhere... We have no choice. We have to make all the Electrode faint. A: ... L: That should stop this machine from transmitting that strange signal. A: ....... L: It's not fault of the Electrode, so it makes me feel sad. A: ........... L: Let's split the job. You take this side. A: ...but... electrode... and... explosion... and... fffffffffffu. TIME BOMB NUMBER 1 FAITO Electrode uses Rollout! Persnickety uses MudBomb. Electrode survives in critical health. ...And now that I think about it, this is the first wild Pokemon I've found in Mahogany. Julia the Electrode was caught! TIME BOMB NUMBER 2 FAITO Electrode uses Spark! PerSnicket lols. Turn 2! Electrode uses Screech! ...only to be KO'd. TIME BOMB NUMBER 3 FAITO Spark! Re-lol. ._. One more hit, and I'm safe! It hasn't been that long since I fought... Uh, massacred Jasmine, but... Still, she said I was nice... I've been anything but nice, really. So... We're going to try to change that. A: Hello there! I'm Amie, nice to meet y- P: Pokemon have many experiences in their lives, just like we do. A: ...you. I would like to challenge you to a- P: I, too, have seen and suffered much in my life. A: ...Uhm, excuse me, but- P: Since I am your elder, let me show you what I mean. A: ...You know, wisdom doesn't always come with age... I would like to learn something, of course, but- P: I have been training Pokemon since before you were born. A: Well, yeah, you're like, a million years old- whoops, trying to be nice... P: I do not lose easily. I, Pryce--the Winter Trainer-- shall demonstrate my power! Pryce sends out Seel! A: You know... YOU'RE the one who's not very nice. Go, Emerald (Level 31 Poliwrath)! Emerald uses Hypnosis! It misses! Seel uses Hail! ...Both Pokemon are buffetted by the hail. Nice going, bro. Emerald uses Hypnosis! It misses again! Seel uses Icy Wind. Emerald's speed falls! Emerald uses Hypnosis! It misses again again! Seel uses Icy Wind again! Emerald's speed falls again! Seel uses Icy Wind again again! Emerald's speed falls again again! Emerald uses Hypnosis again again again! Seel falls asleep! Emerald is tightening its focus! Seel is fast asleep! ...Seel uses SNORE?! Emerald lost its focus and couldn't attack ...fffff. So much for that strategy. The hell are the odds of a seel having SNORE?! Fine. New plan. Seel uses Snore again. ...Emerald flinched! wat. Seel uses Snore again again! A critical hit! Gaaaaaah. But despite all this hax and hail damage and icy wind and snoring, Emerald's still not in bad shape. Emerald uses Rain Dance! Emerald, come back. You're in charge, Lithion! Lithion uses THUNDAR. It's super effective! Seel faints! Pryce sends out Piloswine! Amie recalls Lithion for Emerald again! Math time, everyone! Take a surf attack from a poliwrath. Add mystic water, factor it by stab, and then add a rain boost- what do you get? One dead Piloswine~ Emerald grew to level 32! To take out Dewgong on the last turn of Rain, Lithion returns to the field~ P: Hmph... You are quite the trainer. A: ...Well NOW you say something nice. I mean- um... Thank you? Dewgong uses Aurora Beam! A critical hit! ...It's not very effective. THUNDAR. Dewgong fainted! P: Hmm... Seems as if my luck has run out. A: Actually, YOU were the one who was lucky. Solution: Sweep ALL the Rockets! Quickly we reach the fifth floor, where the director is held hostage. Or... not? Director: Ahem, do you hear me? ...I am the Director. A: ...Yes, that was obvious. Don't you have anything better to say? D: We have decided to broadcast wonderful shows to praise Team Rocket! A: Um, wait, what D: Everyone, I don't want you to complain to do a good job to... A: ... D: Yikes! A: What, you JUST now noticed me? D?: I am bust impersonating the... Who are you? A: Impersonating the Whoareyou. That must be quite difficult, Petrel. Petrel: Oh no, it's you again, Amie?... A: Surprise. P: No, no, no! I was pretending to be the Director to influence the entire region to support Team Rocket! A: Well, you just failed. The intercom's still on. They all heard you say that. P: !!! This time I won't hold back! Give me all you've got! A: Gladly. Executive Petrel vs Amie! Petrel sends out Koffing (30); go PerSnickety (Level 32 Quagsire)! Snickety uses Surf! Koffing is in the red and retalliates with Sludge. It does next to nothing. Koffing goes down after a Strength attack. PerSnickety levels up! Petrel sends out Weezing (32)! That's enough, PerSnickety! Turquoise (Level 32 Vaporeon), you're in charge! Turquoise opens up with a Surf. Weezing takes it in the yellow and responds with Smokescreen. But she finishes it off with Shadow Ball! Petrel sends out Koffing (30). Lithion (Level 32 Magneton) takes the stage! Lithion uses Thunder! Koffing faints! Petrel sends out Koffing! Lithion uses Thunder! Koffing faints! Petrel sends out Koffing! Lithion uses Thunder! Koffing- waitno, it missed. Koffing uses Tackle- lol, 4 damage. Lition uses Thunder! Koffing fai- no, it missed again. Koffing uses Smokescreen. >.> Lithion uses Thunder- Miss AGAINagain. Smokescreen! Thunder misses AGAINagainagain! Koffing uses S-... elfdestruct. ._.;; Lithion tanks it in the green! Lithion levels up! Petrel sends out Koffing! BrokenOpal (Level 32 Starmie) takes over! P: What? Am I losing? A: You noticed? Surf murders Koffing~ P: OK, OK, I'll tell you where he really is. A: I'm waiting. P: Listen carefully. We stashed the real director in the underground warehouse. It's at the far end of Goldenrod Tunnel. I am a nice guy. I will give you the basement key to get to the underground warehouse. A: Nice? Apparently that word's changed a lot from what I thought it was. P: Take it with gratitude. A: Don't push your luck. We gonna get dat director nao. OWAIT A REAL BATTLE FOR NO REAL REASON Paul: Hold it! Amie: Whaaat, I thought you said earlier you were gonna leave this to me P: What I told you before was to deceive you. I thought it would let me tail you, A: You know in some other games Rivals actually work with each other instead of just being lying jerkbags. P: ...No matter. A: >.> P: I was planning to beat you after Lance, but since you are here, I will repay my debts! A: Sure, not like I have to defeat an evil orginisation or anything; let's go right ahead. Paul vs Amie! Paul sends out Golbat (30)! Amie sends out BrokenOpal! Broken Opal uses Thunder! That's one dead Golbat. Amie recalls Broken Opal for Turquoise! Paul sends out Haunter (30) Haunter uses Mean Look. Turquoise uses Shadow Ball! That's one dead Haunter. Turquoise levels up! Paul sends out Magnemite (28). Go, PerSnickety! PerSnickity uses Mud Bomb! That's one dead Magnem- wait, it missed. It uses Sonicboom, lol. Mud Bomb! ...It misses again, this time using Supersonic. PerSnickety is confused! It hurts itself in confusion and takes another SonicBoom. ...twice, bringing it down to the red. NEW PLAN. PerSnickety, return! Gooooo, Emerald (Level 33 Poliwrath). Emerald uses Hypnosis; Magnemite falls asleep! FOCUS PUNCH. NOW that is one dead Magnemite. Paul sends in Ferlaigatr (32)! Revenge time, ho. Rokurolla is gonna have a word with you in the afterlife. Emerald uses Hypnosis! ...But it misses! That's fine, Feraligatr's thrash leaves Emerald in the green. She pulls off a Rain Dance, taking a second Thrash, and switching out. Lithion takes her place as Feraligatr hurts itself in confusion. Taste your medicine, ho. :c Feraligatr gets the hang of itself, and hits Lithion with a rain-boosted Water Gun! A critical hit! Lithion drops to 1/3 health. And theeeeeen. thunder... Thunder... THUNDER--cats-- That is one dead Feraligatr. Paul sends in Sneasel (32)! Go, Mina (Level 33 Crobat)! Mina goes for the Super-effective U-turn! .....Aand it survives at 25%. Turquoise takes her place, taking and Icy Wind like a brosis. P: No way... A: WAY! One surf later... P: Why? ...Why do I lose...? I've assembled the toughest Pokemon... I didn't ease up on the gas... So why? A: Toughest? Here's a hint: Evolve them. >> P: I don't understand... A: ... Okay so you know how your Feraligatr evolved? Yeah, dothat. P: Is what that Lance guy said really true? That I don't treat Pokemon properly? A: Do you feed them twice a day? Ohwait, no, I guess he meant sappy love stuff... P: Love... A: It's not that hard, as long as you trust them. P: Trust... A: ...Echo... P: Are they really what I lack? A: That and like, evolving stuff. And prediction. P: Are they keeping me from winning? A: ...Sure, yeah, go with the love and trust stuff. P: I- I just don't understand. A: It's okay. Just go pick on someone else. P: But it's not going to end here. Not now. Not because of this. A: :x P: I won't give up my dream of becoming the world's best Pokemon trainer! A: okayash. Good luck with tha- oh, he left already... Finally. Now we have a director to save... A: I'm just trying to get that Pokeball directly to your right... Bye! P: Since you're so intent on feeling the wrath of Team Rocket, I'll show you! Proton sent out Golbat (28)! Go, Emerald! (Level 34 Poliwrath) Emerald uses Hypnosis- but it misses! Golbat uses a super effective Wing Attack, but she takes it in the Green. Hypnosis hits, Golbat falls asleep! Emerald uses Rain Dance, but Golbat wakes up immediately. That's fine, a rain-boosted surf KO's it! Proton sends in Weezing (33)! P: Seriously, you'd chase me this far?! A: Nope. Just trying to leave. Bye? The second Surf KO's Weezing! Amie is the victor! P: -- A: Bye! Ariana: Hey, you... Amie: whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Ar: Remember me from the hideout in Mahogany Town? Am: Will you be offended if I say no? Ar: This time... Hee hee hee. This time... It looks like you're really all alone. All alone... Am: Your powers of observation serve you well. Ar: So it should be quite easy. Bring it! Let's finish this! Arianna sends out Arbok (32)! Go! PerSnickety (Level 33 Quagsire)! Arbok uses Glare! PerSnickety is paralysed, but gets off a Mud Bomb! Arbok is left with under 50%. One Crunch and a Surf later, Arbok is KO'd! Ariana sends in Vileplume (32). Gooooo, Mina (Level 34 Crobat)! Mina flies up high, doding Vile Plume's Acid attack, only to come in a dive, knocking Vileplume to just a sliver of health. It uses Sweet Scent, and is shortly done out by a U-turn. Turquoise (Level 33 Vaporeon) takes the stage! Ar: Hey, what do you think you're doing?! Am: Winning. Ariana sends out Murkrow (32)! Murkrow uses a Pursuit, Turquoise responds with Blizzard! ..it misses. Murkrow follows up with Night Shade, Turquoise responds with Blizzard! ..it misses again. Murkrow combos with another Pursuit, Turquoise responds with Bilzzar! Murkrow is murdered~ Ar: Aeeeeiiiie! This can't be happening! I fought hard but I still lost! Am: No, you're right, it's not happening. And I'm not walking through this door right on with my life. BYE! Archer: Oh? You managed to get this far...? Amie: Looks like it, huh... Ar: You must be quite the Trainer. Am: I guesssss~ Ar: We intend to take over this Radio Tower and officially announce our comeback. That should bring our boss Giovanni back from his solitary training Am: Is that what they call prison these days? Ar: We are going to regain our former glory... I will not allow you to interfere with our meticulous plans! Am: Your ridiculous plans? Try and stop me. Archer vs Amie! Archer sends out Houndour (35)! Go, Mina! Mina opens with a Rain Dance! Houndour tries a fire fang, but it's completely put out by the rain! Next up is a Confuse Ray! Houndour is confused, and hurts itself! Mina U-Turns back to Broken Opal, who is set to sweep anything! Unfortunately, the Houndour recovers its senses straight away, and lands a super effective Bite attack on Broken Opal (Level 34 Starmie). ...She's okay! Houndour bows to a Surf! Archer sends out Houndoom! (38!) Ar: We can't have you getting in the way before news of our resurgance reaches Giovanni! Am: And I can't have you in my way. Suffer. The most fiercesome Pokemon we've fought yet (or at least so says the level) ohlook. Broken Opal is faster. ohlook. Surf is a One Hit KO! Ar: No! Please forgive me, Giovanni! Am: He won't. Administrators Amethyst Posted November 20, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2011 Our first steps into the Bell Tower... !!! Snickety uses Yawn, and switches to Mina, who U-Turns twice (gentle, we must not kill it). It wakes up, but a Dusk Ball does the trick! Gastly was caught! Unfortunately, I wanted this from Sprout Tower... I probably won't use it this Late... That said, it is time... to ENTER THE DRAGON. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 17 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BrokenOpal the Starmie- 36 Turquoise the Vaporeon- 37 Lithion the Magnemite- 36 Mina the Crobat- 36 Snickety the Quagsire- 36 Emerald the Poliwrath- 36 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Clair: I am Clair. The world's best Dragon-type Master Amie: Nevermind Lance. C: I can hold my own against even the Pokemon League's Elite 4. A: I should hope so, if you're a gym leader... C: Do you still want to take me on? A: Duuhhh~ C: ...Fine. Let's do this! As a gym leader, I will use my full power against any opponent! A: Expect the same. Gooooo, Mina (Level 36 Crobat)! Clair sends out Gyarados (38)! Intimidate lowers Mina's attack! Mina uses Confuse Ray! Gyarados hurts itself in confusion right away! Next up is Rain Dance- Gyarados manages a Dragon Rage. Crobat U-Turns to Lithion (Level 36 Magneton), who takes a second Dragon Rage. Gyarados is somehow faster, gets off yet another Rage, leaving Lithion with exactly 7 health. @_@ But thunder... Thunder... THUNDERATTACKS Gyarados is KO'd! Mina levels up! Clair sends out Dragonair (38). Gooo, BrokenOpal (Level 36 Starmie)! Broken Opal uses Blizzard! It huts, leaving Dragonair with just a sliver of health. Thunder Wave is the answer, leaving Broken Opal paralysed. Analysing the chance, I use a Full Heal to Recover BrokenOpal. Similiarly, Clair recovers Dragonair with a Hyper Potion. ROUND 2, FAITO This time Blizzard misses, and BrokenOpal is paralysed again! D: Dragonair uses Dragon Pulse, and Broken Opal knocks it back down with Bilzzard, this time successfully. Dragonair comes in with a second Pulse. BrokenOpal is in critical condition, but it moves! Surf finishes the Dragonair~ Dragonair (38) the second takes its place. This time its Turquoise (Level 37 Vaporeon)'s turn! Dragonair goes for the Thunder Wave! Turquoise is immediately paralysed... It follows up with a Slam attack, which doesn't do a whole lot. Turquoise gets in her Blizzard- Dragonair is in the red. Quick Attack finishes it off! And now the mother... Clair sends out Kingdra (41!)... Go, Emerald (Level 36 Poliwrath)! Clair: One Pokemon Left! The real battle begins now! Kingdra uses Dragon Pulse! Emerald takes it in the green, and sends Kingdra to sleep with Hypnosis. AND. FALCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON PAWNCH. ...somehow Kingdra takes that in the Green too. FML. There's a chance it'll stay asleep another turn, so Emerald tightens her focus. ..It's a sleep! PAWNCH. Kingdra reaches the Red, but its Sitrus Berry pulls it out of the Hyper-Potion range, and thank god. One more Pawnch will do it... Shall we go for broke? C: You're kidding, right? I'm supposed to win! I already decided! A: Who died and made you supreme commander of the universe? Get used to disappointment. Emerald is tightening her focus! .... ........ ................. PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Kingdra faints! Emerald levels up! C: I lost...? A: Mhm. C: I don't believe it... There must be some mistake. A: Your mistake was using a noob move like Hyper Beam. Are you sure you're a gym leader? C: I won't concede this. I might have lost but you're still not ready for the Pokemon League. A: What are you talking about... of course I'm not; just give me the badge. C: I know. You should take the Dragon Master challenge. A: I have no interest in your Dragons, Clair. C: Behind this gym there is a place called Dragon's Den. There is a small shrine at its heart. A: No one cares. C: Go there. A: No u :c C: If you can prove that you've lost your lazy ideals, I will admit you are a trainer worthy of a gym badge! A: What lazy ideals! Administrators Amethyst Posted November 21, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted November 21, 2011 Having obtained the Rising Badge from Clair, we move to the next battle with no segue whatsover. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 18 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BrokenOpal the Starmie- 36 Lithion the Magnemite- 36 Mina the Crobat- 36 Snickety the Quagsire- 36 Emerald the Poliwrath- 36 Turquoise the Vaporeon- 37 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A wild Ho-oh (45) appears! ~Sorry, Ho-oh, I can't catch you. Not this time. This is just a matter of proving superiority. Go, Turquoise (Level 37 Vaporeon)! Ho-oh uses Extrasensory; Turquoise responds with Surf. Both parties are in the green. ~It's a matter of the bird is "legendary." This random Vaporeon from a nobody trainer is not. Ho-oh uses Sunny Day; Surf is weakened, but brings Ho-oh to a third. ~Maybe in the Reborn region, the Vaporeon known as Turquoise is infamous... But not here, not now. Extrasensory; Surf ~So let's change that. Foolishly, the bird uses Sunny Day. Surf attack. Ho-oh faints. Turquoise is --killingspreerampagedominatinggodlike-- Legendary! She is the carry. She is the chosen, the keymaster, the one, and legendary. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now let's get ready. It's a long road to Victory road. The first stop is Blackthorn. Sell ALL the revives, along with a few other things; stock up. About 150 healing items later, we're good to go. Pokemon checked. Moves checked. TM's applied, though they mostly were already, PP Up and other boosters used, and we're on our way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Paul: Hold it. Amie: I've been expecting you. P: ...Are you going to challenge the Pokemon League? A: That's the general idea. P: Victory Road is at its end, for sure. But did you notice...? You didn't see any real Trainers on the way, did you? A: I did find that odd, but- P: Man, they were all spineless! A: Wait, what? You beat them all, then... P: Well, the fact that you have come this far means you're not one them. A: I suspect you are, though. P: But! Your journey ends here! A: And why is that? P: Because... right here, right now... I will crush you! A: I think you'll understand when I say, klol. Paul sends out Sneasel (36!) Goooo Mina! Mina uses U-Turn! It's super effective! A critical hit! Sneasel is OHKO'd! Paul sends out Kadabra (37)! U-Turn the second! It's super effective! Kadabra is ALSO OHKO'd! Paul sends out Golbat (38)! Mina uses Confuse Ray! The enemy Golbat manages an Air Cutter. Mina opens up Rain Dance, as Golbat scores a crit-Air Cutter, dropping Mina to critical health. Mina uses U-turn! Lithion takes her place, and a third Air Cutter! Golbat uses Confuse Ray; Lithion is confused, but it scores a THUNDAR. Golbat is KO'd! Paul sends in Feraligatr (40)! It's faster, and uses a rain-boosted Waterfall on Lithion... Lithion drops to critical condition. If it hurts itself, it's over for Lithion... THUNDAR. Feraligatr is OHKO'd! That's enough, Lithion! You're in charge, Turquoise! Paul sends out Haunter (37!) Haunter uses Curse; Turquoise uses Shadow Ball. Haunter is OHKO'd, but Turquoise is afflicted with a curse! Turquoise returns for PerSnickety. Paul sends out Magneton (37)! P: I see. Seems it wasn't just luck that's gotten you this far. A: You've seen that yourself time and time again... Magneton uses Supersonic; PerSnickety is confued; it hurts itself! D: Next up is Magnet Bomb- Snickety tanks it and recovers, launching off an Earthquake! Magneton is OHKO'd! P: I give up... A: About time. >.> Amie is the victor! And so did Paul trot off with his tail between his legs. So did we turn back to the Pokemon League's Indigo Plateau. It's time.
