Support Squad Felicity Posted April 4, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted April 4, 2015 Hi, so a few of you may have heard of these thingers called Nuzlockes, y'know, challenges enforced by the player to make a pokemon game harder. Why restrict that to pokemon games? How difficult can we go? Here's the answer! The Shin Megami Tensei Locke The Rules: -Once a demon dies, it cannot be used in battle again and must be fused ASAP. It is an optional Clause to wait to fuse the dead demon or to fuse it wih another dead Demon -You may only scout a species of Demon once. again, a clause to choose if fusions count towards having a species. I.e, you fuse High Pixie, you now may not scout High Pixie if you find it in an area. -Mudoon and Hamaon skills DO count as legit deaths. -Worship RNJesus cuz you aren't winning without his help. Lament
why must we, as a community, invent more ways to torture ourselves........... Edited April 4, 2015 by Lament
Support Squad Felicity Posted April 4, 2015 Author Support Squad Share Posted April 4, 2015 If it was meant to be torturous you wouldn't be allowed to fuse dead demons.
Vinny
Dark Souls Locke has one rule: "You can't roll." BAM.
Support Squad Felicity Posted April 4, 2015 Author Support Squad Share Posted April 4, 2015 Dark Souls Locke has one rule: "You can't roll." BAM. Pfffffffffft, just run stone armour/Havels armour with max into strength, Vitality and endurance. Boom, the great wall has formed.
Magus
Make sure you are playing on very hard mode or else your run is invalid, and no direct commands, leave all the healing to your horrible AI partners. Eat those YOLOats, have a spare rabbit's foot, you're going to need it.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Vinny... that rule is so bad because most of the common builds don't even use rolls.... if you want a real one for Dark Souls it would be that you can't use a shield. ((because Great Shields and Heavy Armour builds period don't use dodge roll at all and nearly everything relies partially on blocking with a shield. Shield > Dodgeroll in Dark Souls almost everytime.))
Vinny
stop holding LB ya mooks Shall i throw in the "no level up" too? I guess i'm just more used to rolling because of my attemps of level 1 playthroughs. 2h weapon > shields in that case xD But to each it's own. Omega_Ra1der
This will tip the scales in reborn nulocke: NO EVENT POKEMON AND RESTRICTED to 1 pokemon per ward. That's right, I made julia harder.

Omega_Ra1der
Grotle, I might understand(bulk and advantage) but Combusken, I fail to see what you mean.
Support Squad Felicity Posted April 4, 2015 Author Support Squad Share Posted April 4, 2015 Grotle, I might understand(bulk and advantage) but Combusken, I fail to see what you mean. It's apparently renowned for solo-running with speed boost.
Omega_Ra1der
Yes, the speed boost but we're not argue over why combusken bad. The reason I can't understand is lack of bulk, yes the speed boost and bulk up will help, but what if the voltorb survives?
