((Monika, Setsuna and Dominic))

After Setsuna had asked Lane about his second card, he started looking everywhere. He was eager to test something out and searched all his pockets but to no avail. In the meantime the topic had changed.

“Can't say I've heard about an Ice Queen. It sounds like someone that dislikes people which earned her that nickname,” Lane mused out loud before turning his bag upside down before realizing something.

“I'm so dumb. I keep Utopia in my extra deck and away from Acid Golem...” He sighed before grabbing his extra deck and Utopia. The rebel then turned to Setsuna. “You want to know about this one right?” he asked, placing Utopia in front of her. “Number 39: Utopia. Do you see it? The vision that comes with it? I want to know if seeing these cards triggers the headaches.”

Ah crap Chim, you really had to force me to post didn't you?

Fine, here comes the ad personam Recap Post!

Zechs, Cyaloom and Hiss (and why not? Chim too)

After being prompted by Lane to do so, you all stare at the card, he is showing you, "Number 39: Utopia"... But nothing happens! You keep on staring intently, but no vision shows up, and you don't feel anything special in your head or otherwise... What is the meaning of this?

And while I'm here, might as well fuse this with the post I was planning to make with Anna:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anna calmly walked into the garden. There was an isolated spot, not far from where Lane & co were standing, which she liked in particular: closed between two big trees and the school's wall, that small spot was constantly in the shadow, so the air there felt moist and fragrant. After having survived the barrage of questions from her students, that was the perfect place to take a breather: she was happy of the way events were unfolding, her students were turning out to be even more enthusiastic than she had dared to expect... She had barely needed to push them at all!

Still, they were all proving to be a bit more nosy than she would have liked them to be: for them to involve her in their childish delusions right away, and to get her involved in that investigation nonsense without a second thought... She had done well in eluding their barrage of questions, but it was incredible how bold they had gotten, and how quickly at that! But was it just childish enthusiasm? Or were they actually suspecting her? And... Was the whole investigation thing really a delusion? Granted, she was aware that the chain reaction she had started was the only way to achieve her final goal, and she knew that any attempt on the kids' part to get involved as anything more than mere pawns was doomed to fail... But she couldn't help but feeling sorry for Tenjo. His death wasn't part of the plan, and had genuinely saddened her, so maybe she could allow those kids to at least find whoever had murdered the guy and make them pay...

Saddened... Saddened? What with that uncharacteristic word? And why would she use it so naturally, so spontaneously, in an inner monologue? Were those useless things she had read of (what were they called again? Ah yes, "feelings") starting to rub off on her?

Anna sighed, as she gazed into the distant sky, a nostalgic sensation in her heart and her eyes widening unnaturally, the irises, pupils and scleras fusing in an uniform golden glow.

"What a hassle these humans are..."

She murmured, but there was no trace of harshness or hatred in her words, no sign of disdain in those strange eyes: only a deep, deep sadness...

[Lane & co might spot Anna (better if you wait a couple more posts before doing so, remember we have still a whole week), but you are too distant to hear her words, and she is facing the other way, so you cannot see her eyes either]

[Luna/Red]

Klive really struggled to lend Lunas theory some credence but xe still struggled with how many ways and places that theory could go wrong. Then again, people had been proven wrong in many different things they thought were absolute. The world was not flat. There were now multiple religions world-wide.So many superstitions had been debunked. Maybe a few of them held true. "Ok Luna, fine. Despite my skeptiscism I'm going to go along with this theory of magic. I do lay claim to the 'I told you so' perk though." Klive said with a wan smile. Then Luna spoke up again about the killer being in the school. "If they're in the school then it would have been easier to get in contact with Tenjo, certainly. That said, i'd think it more likely to be one of the staff. Why would a teacher deign to duel against one his own students. Meawhile if an old working companion had asked him..."

(To himself

Dean was still walking down the hallway toward the cafeteria and when he spoke Hieratic Dragon Overlord, he pulled the card out of the extra deck holder. He casually spoke: You know this was my most recent gifted card and it was given by one of the famous hunter that goes by "Kite" which he recently cut him six months ago. Dean vowed to get his revenge on him and his smug look.

-Flashback to 1 year ago-

"Here, have this card to stand a chance against me and my deck!" *Throws Overlord to Dean*

Dean as 15 years old: "Interesting card." *Reads the effect* "Oh...My.. Goodness, this card is awesome! Basically an more destructive Broniac."

Kite exclaimed: Now you will find out through a spar with if you can stand a chance with that card!"

Half of a Hour later

"Go, Sun Dragon finish him off with Blazing Judgement!" "Stop, I activate Magic Cylinder!"

Dean lp: 0 Kite was disgusted by the fact he was nearly bested by his student and modestly spoke to him: "Well, session is over so get out of here!"

Dean : Yes Sir!

-Back in Present-

Dean spoke : I hated that guy more than Nitro which I liked but he taught to be more aggressive with my dragons and implementing a Chaos factor in my deck really helped alot.

He put away Divine Dragon Knight and Sun Dragon to his extra deck. "Meh, time to get some food then gather some more info later."

"Nothing." Setsuna sighed after staring at the card for about a minute. "I got no vision. Based on how you worded what you said, I assume you did see one. But, I guess simply seeing the card is not enough to trigger the vision or even a headache. So, what was the vision you saw, Lane?"

"'Ice Queen' is the moniker given to some unknown person or thing which partially freezes victims in the port area. Due to the fact that none of the victims died and none of the victims can remember what happened to them, this existence has been merely classified as an urban legend. Well, at least, Dominic and I can now personally attest to the fact that she exists. I won't give you the full details of what happened yesterday but she can somehow encase people and things in ice almost instantaneously and there is no doubt in my mind that there is no way to do that naturally. It's possible could be the results of her holding a Numbers card." Setsuna realized as she spoke how quickly she had accepted the existence of the supernatural. In the end, though, it was something she was unable to deny. There was no rational explanation otherwise. So, she continued to allow her threads of logic to seep into that.

(Luna/Klive)

"So the whole staff is a suspect minus the janitor. " Red quickly turned to a new page in her notebook and started to write down all the school staff, with Ms. Anna at the top of the list and big caps. (to herself: I swear if Anna is behind this im going to......break something) Then Red passed the book over to Klive and Luna. "Is there anybody else you want to add? The professor probably knew more people, but this is all I know."

{His own classroom}

Sighing, Gawyn closed the texbook he had been reading after finding nothing of consequence. "Maybe I should visit the museum later. Johnson might know something...." he thought. He didn't know Ike Johnson very well, but the man had helped him when he was looking for relics of the knights a few years back and seemed kind enough. "Maybe I should talk to Anna for now though, I could probably ask her about last night." With nothing better to do, he put the book away and walked off towards Anna's classroom.

Lane, Setsuna and Dominic

Lane showed everyone his 'Number 39: Utopia', and of course Monika also stared at that card. At the beginning she thought that it would have been a very good card in her deck (the Constellars), then remembered. Lane did this to see if, by staring at the cards, you could have a vision, like it happened before with Number 30.

This time, nothing happened. For a moment, that place bacame very quiet, like if time had stopped. Then, Setsuna broke the silence by replying to Lane... "Nothing." She also gave some informations about the Ice Queen. So it wasn't just me, Monika thought before stating the same thing: "I didn't see anything, too. But why did this happen? Are the two cards different, while still being Number monsters?" Every monster was unique, so that was probably a correct hypothesis. Still, it wasn't enough to explain the lack of a vision.

The Ice Queen details Monika aquired, though, made her think more about the danger of that investigation. She could have been turned into ice if she wasn't careful.

(Arial, Arthur, and Rene)

"Probably. Unless we all suddenly got the same vision at the same time for no reason at all, there's a safe chance to bet that it's not just some random occurrence." The red haired youth said, twirling yet another lollipop in his hand, as nonchalant as ever. " And I have no idea what Izanami has to do with it, but apparently we've got at least another 29 of those headaches coming our way, if not more. Ken said with a slightly annoyed tone ( or at least as annoyed as the sugar-obsessed teen could get, which was not very. )

Pausing for a second, Ken continued on his train of thought. "The freaky vision thing said it was Izanami Lore number 30. Which means it's just a single line of what may be an absolutely massive puzzle. No clue where to get the other pieces though. Ken groaned for a second before shaking his head.

" This is way too much thinking for one day, I need more sugar... Ken said, unwrapping the lollipop and placing it in his mouth, trying to think of any other connections.

"Let's hope these other visions aren't as gruesome that the one we just had..." Arial replied, considering what Rene and Ken said. "Hold on... You said the vision said "Izanami Lore 30"? Didn't we get that headache after that dude flashed a card at us? If I remembered correctly, that card was Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction. Coincidence?"

[Red/Luna]

"Why discount the janitor?" Klive asked, genuinely confused. "There's nothing to say that he wasn't close to Tenjo, or at least on decent working terms with him. I was always told never to piss off the cleaning staff, they hold the true power in any establishment..."

“Nothing? Dammit there goes my theory,” Lane sighed. “The vision I got from Utopia wasn't all that pleasant either. It showed me some scary humanoid thing floating above the city before shattering into pieces."

Lane glanced one last time at his Utopia card before putting it away. “I have no idea what it was supposed to represent. Maybe these headaches are supposed to be cryptic and we don't have to take them literally?"

Luna/Klive

"Well....he did end up with me in the Garden with memory loss as well.. I guess I can add him to the list, but I'm not sure he has anything to do with the mess." Red quickly took back the book and scribble Will's name on the list. "So who do we want to visit first after school?" Red looked at both Klive and Luna, hoping that one of them would take charge of the situation.

Setsuna listened as Lane gave a vague description of the vision he saw while still leaving out the one important detail she was after. "Did the vision happen to be called 'Izanami Lore #39'?"

She needed to know. She wanted to find out whether the 'Izanami Lore' vision was at least correlated with the Numbers Card. If so, then it was likely that the visions were connected to the Numbers Cards. At least, that was her line of logic.

"...Well...I don't really know. The only person who really fit those descriptions are Prof Eppes and our homeroom teacher. Seeing that Prof Eppes ran away when the janitor and I mentioned something about card rumors, I'm sure he'd just run away when he sees me. Maybe one of you can go see him while I go down to the Police Station...I have a small errand there." Luna wasn't sure what to really tell these two. Truthfully, nothing she said could be absolutely certain, but the more info she could get, the better.

"I'm fine to go see this Janitor. You say he also had memory loss?" That was a detail Klive wished Red had mentioned beforehand. If the janitor was involved in any way it served good sense to talk to him about it. Klive took out xyr D-pad, texting Arial and Rene. "Am I right in thinking you two are going to pursue the lead about the archaeologist we found at the beach? I found a new lead in the school i'm pursuing so I won't be going with you guys. I'd like it if you would please fill me in if you find anything"

Zander hadn't noticed that he'd dozed off for quite a bit. He groggily opened his eyes and began to rub them viciously. He released a very long yawn. Concerned that someone might have written on his face while he was asleep, he pulled out his phone and opened the front facing camera. Ok good. I guess I can trust my classmates if I fall asleep. It took him a minute to truly come to all of his senses, but he began to see clearly around the classroom. He noticed a small group discussing something. Deciding that sleep was not what he was destined for, Zander slowly made his way over to Ken, Arthur, Arial, and Rene. Yawning once again, he placed his hand on a desk to steady himself. "Sorry to interrupt, but, would you mind if I joined in on this conversation? If so, mind telling me what you've been talking about."

Charlotte had sat down on one of the tables near Luna,Red and Klive and had started eating her lunch when she accidentaly overheard their conversation. It seemed that they were talking about something similar to the card Lane had obtained yesterday before it shifted to Mr Tenjo. 83....another of those cards with special numbers on them.... Charlotte thought as she bit into her sandwich. Why are these cards just popping up lately..first Lane and now Red....I'll have to check the museum sometime later today about anything similar to these cards.. Charlotte finished her lunch while she was having those thoughts and stood back up before walking towards the exit that led outside.

“Yes,” Lane answered Setsuna's question. “It just said that there were over one hundred of these cards, so it wasn't anything big like the one you saw.”

As Dean was nearing to the cafeteria, he spotted his classmate standing outside. He figured to talk to her so he approached his classmate which as oppose to him as Charlotte. He simply said "Hi, how are you?"

"Seems like those cards are pretty troublesome." Dominic muttered, taking a bite of his food. "They add more to this already pretty jacked up scenario we've gotten into." Remembering the vision he saw, Dominic paused, trying to forget it as best he could, but he could only suppress it. Snapping back, he continued, but slammed his fist down before doing so, "However! If these messed up cards are a step forward, we're gonna have to trudge through the visions to find out why!"

"I honestly have no idea what Izanami Lore is, and the name itself confused me to the extreme when I saw it, but if you're all set on finding out, then you can count me in as well." Dominic declared, pointing to the extreme skies. "And no Ice Queen shall stop me!" Hearing his name, Dominic snapped his vision on Gen, and smiled, "And are you gonna help?!" Dominic shouted, pointing at him, and glaring vehemently.

Dean/Charlotte

Charlotte raised her eyebrow when she heard her name called by someone, turning around and saw Dean looking at her most likely having been the one who spoke to her. "Just fine,a bit bored but besides that I'm ok."She answered politely before her mind wandered back to the cards that were being mentioned. I can't help but wonder why the people in our class in particular seem to be running into these cards and not anyone else... She shook her head before looking back at Dean. "Anything else?"

If you're looking for the janitor, he's probably still in the closest. I wouldn't want to come out of it, especially after what happened yesterday if you know what I mean." Luna looked over at the two to see how'd they react. Seemed like Klive was busy texting somebody. "Hey, this ain't some time to text. We're going to go janitor hunting right now." Luna paused for a minute realizing her big mistake. "Sorry, I meant custodian. Don't tell him I said janitor, it might make him mad."

Klive brought xyr head back up to face xyr new companions. "Actually, I was trying to keep tabs on other leads by asking some of our classmates to help out but I guess it's no big deal, we can just let that pass us by" Klive said nonchalantly, waving xyr arms haphazardly.

"You know, just because you're the only here who has a dick doesn't mean you have to be one," responded Luna to Klive's tone. "You don't want to scare the suspects away with your pessimism. You gotta be upbeat and make 'em feel comfy and safe. That's when you catch them off guard and spray them with this stuff." Luna snatched the can out of Klive's hands not realizing she was pointing it at Red. Besides, grouchy people are no fun to be around. My little brother gripes all the time and nobody likes talking to him."
